This was the night of the eclipse. The rare time that all light would be blocked out and only dark remained. Ironically this was also the night of the final battle between the Light and the Dark. Vampires, werewolves, wizards and witches lay over the battle field, in front of Hogwarts. Casualties were high on both sides and only one side was declared the winner.

The Cullen’s, a vampire family, surrounded a lifeless body, crying in despair over one body. The werewolves were howling at the loss of the moon and crying with grief as their leader and one other lay in front of them, never to phase into a human or wolf again. Witches and wizards looked after their own dead, uncovering faces under Deatheater masks, and discovering a betrayal by one they thought was their own.

Which side had prevailed? Who in the Cullen family died? Which members of the La Push pack died too? Who was the one that betrayed them all and had revealed the secrets to the Dark Lord?

Currently, the trio are in their last year of Hogwarts. They’re determined to finish off Voldemort once and for all but they know they need help especially in the numbers department. And Remus Lupin had just the solution for them. A pack of werewolves from someplace in Washington called La Push. They had also forced a small family of vampires to come and join them, even though they were known to be rivals.

The family of vampires consisted of Edward, Bella, Alice and Emmett Cullen, Rosalie and Jasper Hale, and their adoptive parents Carlisle and Esme. No one knew them for what they were. The students just figured that they were a bunch of quiet, pale gorgeous student transfers into the 7th year and some new teachers. Carlisle was to help Madame Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing and Esme was to be the substitute Care of Magical Creatures Professor. They didn’t seem suspicious at all.

The werewolves consist of Sam Uley, Jacob Black, Leah and Seth Clearwater, Quil and Embry and a few others. They were also another mysterious group of 7th years to the students of Hogwarts, who, if paid attention too closely, walked around with a black band around one of their ankles.

Vampires, especially Bella must control themselves around the mass of students and the fact that someone might accidently spot them hunting in the Forbidden Forest. The werewolves must watch their temper, in case they phase in class. And they must all learn to live together under close quarters and fight through the battle together. Can they do it? And will Jacob be able to stand Bella being a vampire?

*note: The trio and the professors will find out about the Cullens and the pack’s identity.

Serena waited for Draco to answer her. As she did, her eyes scanned the Great Hall. It had always seemed the pale transfers were never too hungry. Always poking at the food and never really clearing the plates. And the other transfers...the dark skinned ones, ate more than any other teenage boys she had seen.

Shaking her head, causing the blonde hair to follow the moment, she continued to watch Jasper, Alice and Rosalie. They were weird and she couldn't figure out why.

"So Hermione, how in Merlin's sake are we gonna find a usefull book in that huge library......Or do you know of a book that has the information that we need."Harry had little hope that they would succeed in the library, they didn't even know what they were looking for.
But the library was the only idea they got so they'd better make the best out of it.

Edward looked around, seeing no one around. "Oh, come on, we've lost them," he whispered to Bella. He admitted, he was distracted by her eyes. He sighed, taking her hand and finding Alice's thoughts. He went to her. "Hey, guys, hope we're not interupting anything," he smiled.

Seeing him turn to scan the Great Hall, Serena immediately averted her eyes to look at Draco. Her getting caught staring again would be the worst thing. She didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea. Especially that girlfriend of his and Draco. How bad would that be? She asked herself as she looked to see if Draco was done his lunch or not.

"Do you want to go now?" She asked him, wondering how boys could eat so much.

A bell like laughter filled the air. "Did you think I was lying?" She asked him amused. "That girl over there hasn't stopped staring at Jasper since this morning." "Aisle 6, Harry." Hermione said, giving him a small smile. Getting up from her chair, she headed down aisle 5 to look on the other side of the bookcase. Pulling out a few books from the shelves, she carried them back to the table she had been sitting at. Grabbing the largest one of them all, she flipped to the index, seeing if any names stood out to her.

Making her way down the M's, she heard a tap on the window. "That can't be Remus's reply? Can it?" She said, turning around to locate the tapping.

Curiosity filled Rosalie's face. "What is she thinking?" She asked him, intruiged what this human would think of Jasper. "Someone might need to hold Alice down after Edward tells us what's going on in her head." She joked, making a face at her sister. "Someone should just go tell that Slytherin girl that everyone knows that she's staring at him."

She said, still laughing, attracting the attention of the students in the vicinity. "Sorry Jasper, but pink fuzzy handcuffs?" She said, laughing after each word.

Hearing the bell ring, signalling the end of class, she attempted to control her laughter. "Oh, that's something that's going to stick in my mind for centuries." She said, as she swiftly got up, happy that there was only one more class until the end of the day.

"That is...if I live for another century." She said softly thinking about the battle that was to start in a few days time, knowing her family would hear. And if the humans around her heard, they would have no idea what she was talking about.

"Well, Rosalie told me too," Edward said to Jasper. "And..um..yeah, it's happened to all of us," he laughed. "Just...not as descriptive," he whispered. Of course he was lying. It was a lot more descriptive than that. There were more perverts in this world that was...he shivered again, smiling at Bella. "Ready, Bells?"

Rosalie mustered up a smile. "Let's go to whatever Magical creatures class we have." She said, shuddering at the thought of animals being near her. She hadn't hunted in a while and she was scared at what diasterous event could happen if she was near too many animals.

Heading out the Great Hall and entering the Entrance Hall, she swiftly checked to see if Emmett was anywhere nearby. He wasn't. Growling softly, she stalked off to her next class.

Draco popped the last of his lunch into his mouth, taking a large draught out of his pumpkin juice. Mopping his mouth and hands neatly with a napkin, he dropped it onto his plate, before lazing against the back of the chair, amused to see that she hadn't noticed him finish.

Draco continued to watch Serena out of the corner of his eyes, mouth turned down into a frown. He really didn't get what she saw in the blonde newcomer, so he was good-looking, there were plenty of attractive dudes here, but what else did Serena know about the new student apart from that? Zip, zilch, nada, nothing. He took care to keep his comments to himself though, he cared about Serena, and if she wanted to go after him, that was purely her choice. Plus, she was stubborn, and once she decided on something, there was nothing that could be done to budge her.

Instead he looked at her, face carefully void of emotion, an eyebrow raised as though signalling he'd just caught her, again. He stayed silent though, knowing that Serena knew well enough that it was a motion for her to explain herself.
