Ah Katie, I'm sorry I'm just now getting to post a comment. I actually caught this right after you posted it. I got called away right after I read it, and am just now able to get back here to comment. The three, Teddy, Harry, and Ron, talking about the wedding. That was priceless. What happened to them? Where did they go? You know... in fiction anything is possible. Nobody seen Teddy lying dead, so although it is assumed he is dead now, later in your story he can be brought back to life. It happens on tv all the time. That being said, I won't mention it again. It is your story, and we will just keep reading what you have for us. And I might add you're doing a fine job. Thank you for your creativity and sharing it with us. I'll be watching for your next post.

'Will you be having a funeral?' Asked Amelie as she made Vic some lunch.

'A funeral is when you say goodbye to a body Am. I don't even have a bloody body!! Can you just shut up?!'

'Sorry, I was only asking. I worry about you, you know.'

'Thanks, I don't need taken care of. I am fine.'

'Do not give me that. You have just lost the most precious thing and you are about to burst.'

'You wouldn't know the meaning of a precious thing. Especially when it disappears.'

The conversation was becoming very heated, I was so angry.

'Actually, I do. I am engaged. A surprise birthday gift from Rob. He proposed.'

'Oh really? Did he tell you that he came to visit?'

'Yes, he did actually. He appreciated your help.'

'What help? We didn't get to do much talking!'

'What do you mean?' Am sounded extremely curious to find out what I meant.

'He kissed me Am. He wasn't totally honest with you. He can't possibly love you as much as you think.'

'How could you!? You are supposed to be my best friend!'

'Oh please. You think I wanted to?'

'You idiot! He would never do that to you.'

'Believe me, please. I would never do that to you.'

'What about your dead husband! You must feel awful. Kissing other guys and then he dies! You are horrible!'

'I am horrible, I do feel awful.'

And with that I cried, and cried and cried.

'I am so sorry. I should never have mentioned Ted. I am so sorry.'

'I get it. You were angry. You knew that it would hurt me, I deserve it.'

'You could never deserve it. I know that you don't like Rob like that. I believe you.'

I am sorry but I do like him in that way. I need him to fill the hole in my heart, I thought. I couldn't say that to her. It wouldn't be right.

Amelie was right. Ted needed a memorial. Just a small service. I would get right onto it.

Aww, those two posts were tres beau, Dear. So sad, though Vic kind of lot it in the last post. I was surprised she brought up the kiss thing and I loved the post when Harry and Ron told her about his death, I cryed... well still crying cauz I just read it. I was very descriptive. I loved it and definatly want more. Bring Teddy Back!

Hello Katie. I've been trying to comment ever since you posted. I hope I don't know where this story is going to, but I think if Teddy is really dead, then I hope he comes back as a ghost, till he feels like he can go onto his resting place. I was wondering why Vic. was being so hateful and I wonder if maybe she is feeling guilty. I'll be watching for your next post.

Anyways, away from the Rob murdering. I hope Vic didn't lose her best friend cause of that! I feel so bad for her, and I can't say I felt like that. I've only lost pets. Hey ladies! Hope everyone is well and healthy. Unlike me, lying on my deathbed typing this chapter!! I am not that unwell but I feel really tired and uncomfortable. Finally some nice weather has come to Scotland, there was still a blue sky at 9 o'clock tonight which made me very happy. I think my younger sister just broke my finger!!!!! :O So sore

Everyone stood in the garden of the Burrow, telling stories, sharing memories and comforting each other. I hadn't expected so many people to come to say goodbye to Ted, even if it wasn't his body, just his spirit.

I sat at the patio with my Dad, stroking my hand sitting on the chair next to me. He just kept looking at me, checking if I was OK. He had really just started to like Ted but he never got a a chance to tell him.

'You must be shocked at the turnout. That's what I was like when Grandpa died. The amount of people that really care, it's unnbelievable.'

'Dad, you said that already.'

'Sorry, I hate awkward silences but I really don't know what to say.'

'Don't say anything then.'

I tried to make my exit as dramatic as possible but I couldn't get out of my seat without someone helping me up. The girls were coming very soon. Luckily, a blotchy-cheeked and tear-stained James was nearby to help me.

'Want helped inside?'

'Please James. Thanks.'

'No bother.'

When he sat me in the comfortable, old armchair in the livingroom I immediately felt comforted. It was overwhelming, I hadn't felt this good in ages. Not since, not since.....The scene in the kitchen with Rob, who by the way is here with Am. He doesn't seem to know that she knows though. Maybe she genuinely believes it was an accident.

'J could you get me some water please, I am parched.'

'Sure, back in a sec.'

When James left the room, his seat was already occupied by none other than Rob Fiddle.

'Hi Vic.'

'Hey, what's up?'

'That is one blonde question.'***

'Very funny Rob. Why are you at my husband's memorial?'

'I had to see you. Don't you like that? Oh, and by the way, Am just left and she gave me this.'

He showed me the silver engagement ring that Amelie had probably thrown at him and a piece of paper. It read:

Rob, don't say you love me if you kiss other women, especially mourning, pregnant ones who happen to be my best friends. I take it you like her then and you thought it was a way to get me to dump you? Good plan, it worked. I don't know why I planned to marry you. I was stupid and I should have just done a proper interview the first time I met you. Not some flirtatious thing so you would like me.

Let her read this will you? Victoire LUPIN you should be ashamed. Remember I am a journalist, I can tell when someone is being honest and making up a load of rubbish. Have him if you want. Just think about Teddy first.

(Lupin is supposed to be capitals cos Am is pointing out the fact that Vic is married.)

'Lovely letter. Thanks for showing me.'

'Welcome. Anyway, I am really sorry about the other week. I can't believe I did that.'

'It wasn't just you, I was stupid and vulnerable. I should never have kissed you back.'

'Vulnerable? What does that have to do with it?'

'I needed love. I needed Ted, you were his replacement. Sorry, I might have lead you on.'

'Could I still be a replacement?'

Are you kidding me on!? This is my husband's memorial and you are asking me to be with you!? I'm sorry buddy but that is just too fast.'

I got up by pushing against the chair and stepped outside into the garden. In the background, I heard. 'Where did she go? I got her water.'

I was so angry at everybody, Rob, Dad, everyone here. They were here for a blether. Just to catch up with people they hadn't saw in a while. I was here to mourn with others but the only sad person here was James and I knew I would make him worse by talking about it.

So, I decided to leave. Nobody would notice. I was already alone, it wouldn't make a difference to me.

When I walked in the door, I immediately locked the bolt and went to my room as fast as I could. I stripped off from my horrible black dress and black cardigan and put on my pyjamas.

Then I started to wreck the place. Room by room. Throwing things,breaking stuff. Unleashing my anger.

It felt great until a pain became apparent. This was it. It was time. The stress had finally got to me. The anger had taken me over.

My girls were fianlly coming.

I picked up the new mobile and found the first contact that I clicked on, it also happened to be the latest contact to be added.

'Rob, I need you. Now!'

***I MEAN NO OFFENCE TO BLONDES.JUST FOUND IT FUNNY***

Awe, So I know this is a sad moment, but it's still a little exciting when you're about to go in labor... But it's also sad because Teddy won't be there to see it...
Ugh! I was hoping I'd never have to hear her say that, even in this context. Why couldn't she have last called James?...

Hi Katie. I do hope you get well soon. Of course this is Vic's first pregnancy, so she doesn't know that the first pain you feel doesn't mean your about to give birth any minute. She had plenty of time to call somebody other than that despicable scum she called. Anxious to see the twins. Hope everything goes well with the delivery. I'll be watching for your next post. Take care of yourself. Chicken soup is great for colds. And it doesn't have to be Grandma's best soup you ever had in your life either. Canned soup, like Cambell's Cicken Noodle Soup does the job too.


Umm, I should say I guess, that the soup thing isn't any type of medical advice or anything. It's just what I was told, and I know it helps my kids.

oh nice post...but still i dont want Teddy to be leaving even for the fact that i have just read about his memorial...pams when you can and do take care....
