We walked through the streets, looking in shop windows for an outfit.

'The mother of the bride has to look as good as her daughter.'

'Don't you go stealing my spotlight.'

'Don't you worry about that. You will be covering the spotlight with your bump, be sure of it.'

'Very funny. Oh! What about that?'

'That is lovely. I wasn't sure if I fancied a hat but that is a nice one.'

The hat was black with red stars on it, suttle and sweet.

'I really shouldn't but it without he rest of my outfit yet.'

As soon as mum said that a witch appeared at the shop window and put a huge sale sign next to the hat. Only 10 Sickles! Bargain! As you have probably guessed, she bought it there and then.

'It's possible that she could outshine me you know? It's really nice, the red robes are lovely with the hat and the sequins at the neck of the robes are so sparkly.'

'No way culd anybody look better than you on your own wedding day, especially not your mum. It doesn't matter if she is a French beauty! You are Weasley and French, nobody can beat that.'

'Thanks Hermione!' I hugged her. 'Thanks for everything.'

A couple of hours later we received a letter.

Hey ladies, Just to let you know that we are on special leave from 23rd of Decembr to the 27th of December for the wedding. Unfortunately you are only allowed one special leave per trip so if this stuff doesn't stop I could miss the babies. It should be finished by then though.

Obvously, as you probably guessed - yet again - I broke down into tears. Not of emotion but of anger. For the people that got them there and for Ted. Why couldn't he just move his backside and be with me when his own bloody babies are being born. Bad enough two of them but two all by myself.


Mr, Lupin. You better be back by at least March or I shall have to get somebody to kill you!


OK everybody. Lets say that this is the beginning of November at the moment. Would it be OK to skip November and head towards the wedding?

Hello Katie, your story is doing great! It's nice how you give us these different things going on all the time. Shopping with the bride, worrying over Ron silently with Hermione. Wondering if Harry is ok. (I have to worry about him even if you don't write anything about him, cause he's my hero. And he is on a secret mission after all.) Anyway, I'm just saying you're doing a great job.

It's your story. You can move it along if you want. You could move the story along with talking about the season changing getting colder as the wedding approaches or anything that moves your readers with the story, just so we aren't jolted into the wedding cerimony or what ever. I hope I've explained what I'm trying to say, and I hope it's helpful. Great job, and I'll be watching for your next post.

The December cold was coming in fast and powerfully. The rain and the wind was torrential. Yet, no snow.

Planning a wedding alone is like having the Crucio curse on you at all times. It makes two people to make a wedding but I am only one.

'St. Mungo's. You have an appointment. Remember?'

As we walked very briskly to the hospital I got quickly out of breath. The woman at the front desk had the most boring and monotonous voice I had ever heard.

'Just in time Miss Weasley, up the stairs, second landing, then turn right. Have a good day, thankyou. Goodbye.'

'Good day.' I simply replied before she was able to hear me giggle.

'She was lovely, right?' Hermione was about to cry with laughter.

'If I am honest, I didn't notice.'

We both laughed the rest of the way, taking turns to imitate her droning voice.

'Hello Victoire. From what I hear, Cathie is on her shift at the desk.'

'She sure is. Does anybody like her?'

'I don't think so. It is quite a shame. Don't worry, by the time you are signing out, her shift is over.'

'Thanks.'

I want you to know that I love you and I am so excited for your return. Which by the way is only 20 days away!

I was at St. Mungo's today. Everything is well, healthy. On progress. I swear to God if you miss them, I will kill you. Before anybody else gets a chance.

How are things? Safe? Clean? I bet not! Are you allowed to explain what is going on. Why are you still fighting in Africa if the minister is here?

Anyway, I really love you! I hope you get this before you come home. See you in 20 days, it's very exciting!'

I sent Delilah with the letter and went to bed.

When I woke up, there was a letter there already, sitting on my bed.

I am not supposed to be telling you this just in case. We aren't in Africa anymore. I am in France, right across form Dover, protecting the British borders. Sorry that I didn't tell you. We have been here for a week.

I love you too. You are my best friend, my soulmate, my heart.

I gave you my everything when I met you and now look at us. Getting married, having twins. Can you believe it? Neither can I.

I can't wait for our wedding. Sorry for leaving you, it had to be done.I love you. I can't wait to say I Do.

I was walking down the aisle alone. No congregation. No bridesmaids. No bestmen at the front. My dad wasn't on my arm.

I quickly rose from my slumber, making me dizzy due to the pace of my sitting. My conscience was correct, I couldn't let this get to me. I just couldn't. I wouldn't. I can't. I shouldn't.

As all the variations went through my head I just began to ball. I know this probably comes as no shock to you but I really didn't expect it. It was a shock. I stood up and put on a brave face for Hermione. Unfortunately the red cheek gene after crying from the Weasley side, I got. I knew she could tell. Come on, she is married to a Weasley.

'Only 18 days until we see them. You excited?' Hermione was just trying to comfort me, she knew what I was going through. Sometimes I forget that she is going through the exact same thing as me - minus the babies!

'I am very excited. Is it really 18 days? Wow. That means that I get married in 20.'

I didn't expect this either.

20 days.

Only 20 days.

I thought that I should let you know that your wedding outfit is with Ginny. After you all arrive at the Burrow for a pre-wedding feast we will go to back to the flat. Then the 24th you are getting a professional shave and haircut, I made your appointment. YOU ARE VERY WELCOME! Kidding. Then you are staying with your guys that night. I am staying here with my bridesmaids. See you in 19 days. I love you.

I thought that I should let you know that I love you too. It is annoying that I can't tell you using my voice but I am saying it now. 'I love you.' I actually said that out loud. Do you know that I dream about you everynight. Like two days ago, I dreamt that you were walking down the aisle with s full congregation and your Dad on your arm. I was there and your bridesmaids and my best men. You were smiling so much, you looked amazing! See you in 18 days! xxx
