I was desperate to apologise for being so moany and cranky but my fiance was nowhere to be seen. In his place was a note............


Hey, I have to go. Work needs me. The South African Minister for Magic needs back up. We have all been called in. I love you.

I brushed my shaking fingers across the page remembering the last thing I had said to him- 'Work'. I immediately burst into tears and lay on the couch with nothing better to do.

When I woke, there were two owls sitting on the windowsill of the livingroom, I recognised both of them. I stumbled across the room and opened the window, both owls lifted their feet and I took the letters.

The first-

Do you want to come and stay with us? Ronald is away and i understand that Ted probably is too. H xx

The second-

We have a spare room waiting for you if you need to stay with us. Harry just left and Ted probably did too. G xx

I scrawled onto the back of both letters and sent the owls away, then I went to my room and packed a few belongings.

'Hey honey. Don't worry about it, just make yourself at home.'

'Thanks Aunt-'

'Vic, hello Darling. I didn't expect to see you here.'

'Hi Granny, he left me a note saying somthing about South Africa so I am staying here for now.'

'Oh right, yes, both Ron and Harry have gone too.'

'Yeah, that's right. Listen, I need some sleep, would you mind if I headed upstairs?'

' Course not. I will show you where you can sleep.'

'Thanks Hermione.'

Great post! That's so sad he had to leave suddenly. It always makes it worse when there was harsh words spoken and one has to leave for whatever reason without resolving anything. At least they can be comforted that they know they love each other. I'll be watching for your next post. Good job on this one by the way.

Sad, it always sucks that the last conversation you had with someone was a fight and then they leave and you don't what's going to happen.

'I think it is weird how nobody has wrote any replies to our letters.' OK, I will admit it, I was petrified.

'They are probably just really busy, do not worry.' I also had to admit that I had caught Hermione crying last night.

'Well, I am sending another one tomorrow if there is no reply, it has been a week and your owl is a good one.'

'She has never flown to South Africa remember.'

'I know, but, it is really scary.' Now, I have to admit something else, I burst into tears again.

I had been staying with Hermione for a week now and I had gone to work normally and everything but I couldn't get Teddy out of my head. As I planned more of the wedding all I could think about in my head was , 'Will there be a wedding?' 'Are my babies going to have a father?' Can you even begin to imagine? Didn't think so.

'Stop your blubbering, you are worrying over nothing. Last time, the guys went to America when there was a new Muggle president who needed protecting. Strange name he had, Barrack something. Anyway, all these white 'gangs' they call them weren't happy you see, the President is the first African-American one. Anyway, the guys were gone for a month. Missed Christmas and everything. I hadn't one letter.'

'Its just this is the first time that Tedy has went on something major. The Prophet says that the Minister is really struggling, they won't tell us anything else. The headlines are just ' SOUTH-AFRICAN MINISTER FOR MAGIC BEING PROTECTED' We already know that for Merlin's sake!'

'You just need to relax, that is all.'

'Relax, Relax! You are telling me to relax. Atleast I can cry infront of people, I am not ashamed-'

I am terrified. Two of my uncles and my fiance are in a country going through magical civil war. We heard yesterday that the Minister has been hidden away in another country.
