All will be explained by none other than Teddy himself in the next post. I know a post was due today but I am staying at my aunt's house until tomorrow and then my little cousins are going to my house on the Monday to the Tuesday so the EARLIEST I will be posting is Wednesday. Super sorry girls. You have all handled this brilliantly with the fact that he should be DEAD but all will be revealed.

I know I said I would post but Kerri and I are working on something so maybe tonight if you are lucky, like really lucky then I will post. If not then tomorrow. BTW the finished vote is 1 so the next part has been written based on that

Hello everybody. This could be a short one or a long one, it just depends what my fingers want to do.

I set off down the street with my husband holding my left hand.

‘I shouldn’t have hit you, I was in shock sorry.’

‘Don’t worry about it honey. I deserved it after what I did.’

‘No you didn’t. You died, well kind of-‘

‘I can explain that if you like.’

‘Wait till we get home. Oh- crap. I put the flat up for rent.’

‘Where have you been staying then? With your Mum?’

‘Errmm. No.’

There was a pause. Ted looked at me with a puzzled look. He seemed worried and I could tell he was mentally closing his ears so he couldn’t hear what I was about to say.

‘You know the Quidditch guy that Amelie had been going with for a while. He was at the wedding and stuff?’

‘Yeah....’

‘Well, I moved in with him. It’s a long story that you really don’t want to hear.’

‘Actually, I would love to hear it.’

‘OK. He kissed me days after I found out you were dead. Then when I went into labour the day of your memorial, he was the first name in my recently used contacts so I called him. He took me to St. Mungo’s. He was brilliant. Mum was doing so much for me but I didn’t want her anymore. I wanted someone to fill the hole in my heart that should have been yours. I moved in with Rob.’

‘That was easier to hear than I thought it would be. I’m just glad that I know you well enough to see that you didn’t sleep with him or anything. That’s good.’

He looked at me and smiled as I crunched my face into a fake grin.

‘Yeah, that’s good.’ I said, feeling hopeful that he would buy it.

‘Oh for Merlin’s sake Victoire. How could you. It hasn’t even been 3 months since I ‘died’.’ He added his own quotation marks with his fingers.

‘Yeah well, how would you feel if someone told you that I had died. You dying was my biggest fear, I was too busy fearing that I didn’t even think about the aftermath, I had no clue what grief was. I tried to handle it the same way as I did when Grandad Weasley died but you and the girls made it a whole lot harder.’

‘How did I make it harder? It wasn’t my fault they took me away. It wasn’t my fault they tortured me about the mission. It wasn’t my fault that I watched all the other prisoners die one by one next to me. I couldn’t do anything about it. We were all tied to wooden posts and if you made one little noise or breathed to loudly then they killed us. Just like that. Just like muggles killing pigeons or hare. As soon as they spot one, they shoot. It’s the exact same but with human beings. They told me I was strong, they kept me alive, fed me well and got me a new wand. They took me to their master and he tortured me some more just to get information but I didn’t say anything, all I could think about was you and the girls. You three kept me strong but kept me worrying. So don’t say I made it hard for you.’

‘Oh Teddy, I’m so sorry. I had no idea, I love you, I love you. I only think the best of you. You probably saved Britain by keeping quiet. Oh Ted.’ I kissed him quickly with tears streaming down my face. I gripped his hand like he would fly away at any moment. I kept him close the rest of the walk to the hotel. It was the only thing I could do without killing myself, I had to hold him.

‘You can use the ensuite to clean up, you look a bit of a mess. I am going to pack and leave Rob here then we can go home.’

‘That’s a bit mean, atleast write him a letter. Or I will, I will give him a piece of my mind.’

‘I think I will write a letter, it’s probably best,’ I said whilst laughing.

I am going home with my husband. You may think I’m crazy but it will probably be on the wizarding news at some point over the next couple of days. Another surviving auror of the brutal attacks in South Africa. Teddy Lupin met his wife on the streets of Sweden where he told her everything.

Anyway, I’m going to your house to get my stuff then I will hopefully never see you again. Thanks for everything, I do appreciate it but my love has come back to me. I don’t want you anymore.

I thought I would give you the tiniest wee bit of the next post. Just to wind you all up.



We arrived at the manor and I let myself in with the huge key Rob had left for me to use. We both walked in and Teddy just looked around while I ran upstairs and got some stuff.

‘Accio Victoire’s things!’ Teddy shouted and everything flew downstairs with me chasing after it. ‘Much easier to do this.’

‘Thanks Ted,’ I conjured up a bag and swished my wand so that everything went in. ‘We need the girls stuff too.’

‘Accio Violet and Evie’s things!’

This time, Ted conjured up the bag and put the things in. I was preparing my dolphin patronus to send a message to Shell Cottage.

It read:

I’m on my way to get the girls; I have a surprise for you.

When we arrived at the seaside cottage, hense my dolphin patronus, Ted just smiled. It was the kind of ‘good-to-be-back’ smile I had hoped for.

We knocked on the door and did all of Dad’s security stuff then he opened the dorr. Never have I seen Bill Weasley’s face look so shocked. He looked as if he was about to keel over, Ted got a grip of Dad’s arm and tried to move him towards the livingroom.

‘Get off me, the only way anybody is touching me is if they pinch me.’

‘Dad, what are you talking about?’

‘Wake me up Victoire!! Pinch me, I’m dreaming.’

‘Dad, you’re alright, it’s OK. He’s real, he’s alive. He will explain everything but first lets get you seated and let Ted see his daughters for the first time.’
