"Only interesting thing about school is that they always thought i caused thunderstorms at Hogwarts and so whenever some students would come near me they would take out an umbrella and set it up so they would not get rained on." He laughed a little at this. "My career goal has been to work in security as i told you before."

So talk to him ? Weren't they already talking ? Oh well probably trying to break the silence. "Its um..." what was her job like ?"Its okay, Better than working in a muggle store." Past experiences, not good. Customers were soooooo rude.

Cora bit her lip, out of awkwardness, as James frowned. "Is everything okay ?" she thought she'd better check, in case she'd said something to upset him.

"I'd love to meet her sometime." She sounded really nice, and if she was any relation of James' she must be nice.

She smiled as he reached across the table and pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "Thanks." She leaned on her hand as he talked about his sister. "Thats nice of you. " Travelling as a child apparently wasnt as fun as it seemed. She sorta felt sorry for James, moving all the time he apparently didnt like it.

Frida raised her eyebrows and sipped her water, "Thunderstorms?" She repeated with a curious gleam in her eye. "That's rather handy. Was it only inside the school or outside as well?" The woman tried to imagine if it were possible to play Quidditch with a trait like that. Seemed rather unlikely to Frida.
"Then as far as your career goal goes, you're all set." She stirred her coffee some more so that it would cool down. "Have you worked elsewhere...before the Ministry?" From across the restaraunt Frida could see the waiter who had served them and another waitress talking...probably about Frida and Chris. 'Hope they didn't hear anything.' Even if they had heard something, it was a good thing that Frida could patch things over in no time.

James was finding it increasingly difficult to maintain the smooth flow of conversation that he normally achieved so well. Erk.
"A muggle bookstore? What's that like?" And curiosity took over the conversation. It was much easier letting his reporter and interoggator take over from him.

He looked up and inwardly cringed that she'd noticed, "I was just wondering the same thing. I'm fine.. but are you okay?" Awkwardness didn't just APPEAR with James. Normally he wasn't so distracted by someone's eyes that he forgot the thread of the conversation.

Boy, she had pretty eyes..

He smiled at her and pulled his hand back. It would be weird right, if he just left it there.. Yeah.
He shrugged. He liked California. She was hilarious. He rememered when they were younger and she bossed HIM around. At four, Callie was telling HIM what to do. He grinned. He liked her.
"She should stay at Hogwarts till she graduates - peoples say it's a great school."

"Nope the ministry jobs were my first ones ever" said Chris "I really did not have a big desire to find other jobs to do." Chris looked at her in the eyes for a brief moment just to see if she was actively hearing what he was saying "I really like my job here there is no doubt about that." He was nearly finished with his cheesesteak.

"Really?" That was a first. Everyone else Frida had met had at least had one other job before coming to the Ministry. "So no working as a waiter or a clerk?" 'This guy has got off easy.'
Frida sipped her coffee a little bit more and sighed, "What else do you have planned for your employees? Any lessons you want to hold in the near future?"

Eh. This was just like, totally different to the coffee shop. Everything had just gone so well and like they'd just talked and talked and talked and now, this. Awkwardness and quiteness and eh.

A muggle bookstore ? HUH ?! "Oh. Um no. I didnt work in a bookstore. I worked in some random supermarket. All the people were rude and soo demanding." No respect at all.

She smiled a small smile as he said he was about to ask the same thing. She felt special that he was thinking the same thing as her. "Oh thats good then. Yeah Im fine thanks." she said with another smile.

James' sister sounded very nice, probably nicer than her own brother. Cody was just ERGHHH so Cody-ish and annoying. Okay so yeah he was like 6 but all he talked about was spiderman, spiderman this spiderman that. It was seriously irritating but all the same she loved him. "It was certainly great when I was there."

"I still intend on trying to teach them more charms that i have in mind, but what is needed is more employees to apply to work here then i could put all my plans into actions." Chris was breathing heavily all of a sudden. He took a big sip of the water he had in front of him.

"Well, if you need anything for lessons you can ask me." Frida shrugged a little and stacked her empty coffee cup and saucer on her bare pie plate and pushed them away. "I had an awful lot of nice training gadgets when each division had their own office. Shouldn't be too hard to locate and bring them all in again."
She sipped her water through her straw and blinked, catching Chris' change. "You okay?"

"Im okay" Chris said "I always have this issue when im talking to women even ones that are pretty." Chris chuckled silently. "Well if you have any training apparatus that would help my division out as well. I think i could get my employees to practice casting charms at some point." This conversation was going quite well Chris was sure of it.

Frida choked on her water, and had to sit back in her chair for a second to catch her breath. "Oh really?" She said in a hoarse voice and cleared her throat, managing to get her normal-sounding voice back. 'Uhhhhhhhh-' "Don't be nervous around me, I'm easygoing. I promise." If she could hide her face without feeling rude she would have.
"I had a couple of dummies in the old office, which are in my attic right now, and are collecting dust. I could bring them in at some point if you want them? They aren't terribly fast or anything, but they are able to cast a few spells that can be cast with the wands they have." She sipped some more water and added, "They're a little creepy looking, but that shouldn't matter too much."

The only reason Chris was breathing the way he was is because he liked Frida even if they had just barely meet each other. "Yes those dummies will do quite well i think. I might have to set aside a little space in the office to get them set up though. Hey you want to go to the game room its in the ministry itself"

"Most likely." Frida agreed and finished off her water, placing the glass inside the empty coffee cup for the sake of the waiter. "They are pretty big. About six feet tall and kind of wide." She shivered as she thought of how the 'face' looked, it's beady little black eyes...'Eck.'
"Wait. What?" The words came out before she could stop herself. "There's a game room in the Ministry?" 'Since when?! Why didn't I know about this!? Have people been keeping secrets?!!'

BOY! Life was just ridiculously tiring for Gerard Carson these days. It was because he wasn't used to this massive work load, as he practically sat on his butt all day in America.

After rubbing his eyes for about 20 seconds, he decided to drop by into a restaurant that he noticed whilst wondering the streets. It's not that he was particulary hungry or anything, but he needed some coffee to keep himself awake.. nothing wrong with that. Once he had orderd and recieved his cup of coffee, he proceeded to the seating area where he just sat.. slurping away. Ehh, this was awkward when he was just sitting alone. In a restaurant. Don't people like, come on dates here?

Well.. not Gerard, that's for sure. Although he wouldn't mind a date or two in the future. Wink wink.

Charlotta was a little, well nervous was an understatement. The Division Head title was a great opportunity but also a huge amount of pressure on the young womans shoulders. But that didn't stop her being excited. Oh no. The brunette was thrilled to be given this opportunity but this was her first day. She needed some light refreshment to help heal her nerves. So she popped across to the Restaurant down a muggle street.

Walking into the place, Charlotta noticed that a lot of the tables were already filled, and not one to want to sit alone, she approached a young man that was sat, also by himself. "Erm Excuse me" she said tapping him lightly on the shoulder. "Do you mind if I sit here?" she asked.

When he heard the words 'excuse me', Gerard instantly thought that it would be a couple of muggles talking to each other. Well, duh! Why would a muggle approach him? It wasn't until he felt a tap on his shoulder that he realised that it was him being spoken to. It was enough for him to spill his drink all down him. But he managed to keep control of it. "Oh!" He said quickly, placing his cup on the table. "Of course you can sit." Heh, a pretty lady was talking to him.

As it was probably seen as really rude, he took off his huuge sunglasses and smiled kindly at her. "I'm Gerard, by the way. It's a pleasure to meet you." Always a pleasure to meet new people really, especially girrrrrrls.

Scott smiled back at her, smoothing his napkin over and over again - he was nervous, and seemed to be in constant need of fidgeting.

"Pretty good, tiring forst day at work but all right, thanks," he replied with a smile.

The conversation had a strangely intimate air about it, but he liked that for some inexplicable reason. He liked Nina, too, he was beginning ro realize - more than he had thought originally.

"So..." he cast his mind for something to say, but drew a blank. This wasn't good. He didn't want to look like a stuttering fool in front of her! perhpas she'd say something, anything, to get him out of this awkward moment...

Moving on swiftly from all the tension..

Oops. He'd been concentrating on her eyes and just assumed it would be a bookstore. Why? Hm. "Ohh.. riiiight. Muggles are really demanding aren't they?" But he supposed life was difficult when you had to do everything by hand. Magic was a lifesaver.

Sure? James pulled a face. "Are you sure?" He asked with concern because he wanted to know if he was the only one feeling the awkardness.

Yeah. He was sure Hogwarts would've been amazing. "Mmh. Do you have any siblings?" He asked realising they'd been talking about him for a while.

Oh good, they seemed to be getting back on track from all the silence.

She gazed into his eyes, wowza, they were amaaazing. She smiled as he agreed, she was glad in a way imagine if half of his relatives were muggles and she'd just said they were rude and insulted them luckily he thought the same. "Mhmm." she mummbled, too busy staring into his eyes to give him a proper answer.

What ? Oh um right. Ehh. What was she meant to say ? She couldn't say, well no not really I think our conversations a bit awkward. But then she didn't really wanna lie to him. "Um. Yeah i'm...fine." she said with a smile, trying to look believable.

She nodded at his next comment. "A little Brother." unfortunately, he was like 20 years younger, so she had to baby sit him ALL the time. But she didn't mind it when he shut up about spider man. "My parent's are a bit. Old fashioned, they like to keep 'em years apart." Apparently a LOT of years apart. "He's called Cody, hes 6."

Charlotta smiled politely and then took a seat, resting her hands gently on the table. Hehe. Pretty male. "Thank you" she grinned taking a quick glance around the restaurant, obviously owned by muggles, and then resting her eyes back onto the guy in front of her. This guy had to be a Wizard right? She could just, well tell.

"Nice to meet you Gerrard, the name is Charlotta" she smiled softly. This guy was good looking and nice. A rarity these days. "So err.....where do you work?" she asked making sure she'd got her facts right first before spilling anything on the Wizarding life.

"No problem at all." He flashed her a smile with his pearly whites. 'Cause he knew that his smile was awesome. "It's lovely to meet you too Charlotta. Are you meeting anyone in here today? Or do I have the pleasure of your company for a bit longer?" Heh, might as well flirt a bit. He hoped that she wasn't meeting anyone, 'cause then his casual flirting would just look stupid.

"Umm.. I work in level two of a special... uh, secret ministry..." DARN. He really had no idea whether this woman was a witch or a muggle. So, he had to put it very briefly just in case. "Er.. do you know which place I mean?" If not, then he'd leave the restaurant to reduce any further embarassment or awkwardness. And, he didn't really want to sit with a muggle. No offence to them....

Charlotta blushed slightly but shook her head sincerely. "No. You may have my company for as long as you like" she grinned softly. "Unfortunately one has been single since my times at school" she sighed. Too much time working really. But she would love to settle down some time. And if that was in the near future then great. Hmm...Flirty type yes? Not that Charlotta minded one bit. In fact, the woman liked it a lot.

The woman instantly smiled as the word, Ministry was mentioned. Perfect. Her assumptions were correct. "I work one level 9 of the same, said, Secret Ministry" she smirked. Oh yes. She knew exactly what he was talking about. "May I ask what you position is?" she asked her voice dropping a little more so that Muggles couldn't hear.

"Oh, wonderful." A grin spread across Gerard's face, then he glanced around the restaurant for a moment. "Did you want to order some food? I don't mind paying, if you'd like?" He suggested. Might as well make the most of being in a food place. Besides, muggle food was great. "Oh really? I know the feeling." Well, he had been in relationships since school, but nothing serious. "I guess I just haven't found 'the one' just yet." He chuckled at his own remark. Cheesey as it sounded, it was true.

Phew! She knew what he was on about and she worked there too! "Awesome." He winked. "Counterfeit Magic & Equipment Control in the Magical Law Enforcement department. And I have actually got myself a position of Division Head recently." He said proudly. Level 9? Hmm, he couldn't actually remember which department was on that level. "What about you?" He asked with interest. Wasn't it great how conversation extended as soon as he knew she was a witch and not a muggle.

Charlotta nodded and listened to the ma as he spoke about how he was in the same situation. "Gets ya down sometimes but I always perk right back up" she said with a wink. Well it hadn't really effected her, no matter how much he wanted it. Something to eat?? Err... "Could I have a tea please. And a Blueberry Muffin if you don't mind" she smiled. "Thank you ever so much. I don't expect you to play though..."

Oooh..Law enforcement. Sounded snazzy. Hehe. "Sounds like fun" she winked. Well it would be a pretty good department to work within. Oh but now he was asking about herself? Hmm....How much was an unspeakable allowed to say. "Department of Mysteries" she started but furthered te information. "In the Braaain room" she said with enthusiasm and ending in giggles. "Your a division head?" she repeated. "So am I. Todays my first day" she grinned.

"Yep. But I know that there is someone out there for everyone." He smiled widely. That's what always kept him in high spirits, because that's what he believed. A tea and blueberry muffin? Is that all? "Uhm, okay. Sure. I insist on paying. I don't often get to sit in a restaurant with a pretty lady." Gerard grinned, then called the waitor over. He ordered two muffins and two teas for them both. Although, his muffin was chocolate of course.

"I hope so. I haven't been there long enough to find out if it's fun." He chuckled. Work didn't sound very fun but he was ready to be proved wrong, hopefully. "Ooh, wow. That definitely sounds... mysterious." Hehe! The brain room?! That sounded even more mysterious! "Er, what do you get up to in there?" Disect brains? Ew. "Cool, what a coinsidence. It was my first day yesterday." Weiiiiird!

Their order finally arrived and Gerard smiled at the waitor. "Thanks very much." He said, then handed over the money. With a smile in Charlotta's direction, he said, "Tuck in!"
