Date. First thing what came to mind. Well this was like a date right? In a restaurant, it was a unoriginal place or a date but anyway it was one. Plus they didn't have to go anywhere too which was good because if it was still windy, he wouldn't let her go outside. That would be too risky. "How about a date?" he asked looking around the room. "Here?"

It was almost as if he had been reading her mind. "That sounds good to me." She didn't want to relive the coldness outside anyway. This made butterflies in her stomach appear for some reason. They hadn't been there for a while but just thinking about the fact she had a boyfriend made all the difference. She glanced at him once more with a sly smile and just couldn't contain a giggle. Oh yeah. Her face was a mess. She pointed her wand at her face and felt the make-up smears disappear.

"Good," he smiled at her. Hehe. She was just cute at times, beautiful 24/7 though. In fact she still looked beautiful now even though her make-up was still ruined. He smiled a but bigger when she giggled. "You know, you actually looked beautiful when your make-up was ruined. Then again why am I complaining, you always look beautiful," he told her truthfully.

It was nice to hear that but she didn't really agree. "I may but I still feel yucky when my make-up is all ruined. Thanks," she giggled with a slight blush. Awww he was so sweet and pretty handsome himself. She never thought that the outside counted but it helped. She probably looked like a raccoon earlier. Whops. Hehe. Somehow the past slowly drifted away though as she knew that this was a new beginning. "Okay." She picked up a menu. "What to get," she spoke aloud.

He shrugged. Oh well. "Your welcome. Just stating the facts," seriously it was true and listening to her giggle and watch her blush was all worth it. Definitely. Huh? What to get? To be honest he wasn't that hungry he just wanted to talk really. "Honestly I have no idea," oh well he would probably just get something if she was.

Haha. Just stating the facts was he know? Hmm...she had never particularly felt pretty back when she went to Hogwarts. Maybe it has to do with her being blond and all. She liked being a blond for some reason. A brunette was perfectly brilliant too. Guess a person needed change every now and then. She looked back at the menu. "I'm honestly not that hungry. Crying does a number on your appetite." She sighed and laid the menu back down.

He raised an eyebrow at her. "Well it is true," he said, nodding when she didn't answer him. Hmm, so she wasn't hungry either. "Yeah that's true and it's alright we can just talk then," he said with a faint smile. He didn't mind if they didn't eat. Well they were in a restaurant but they would just talk. There was no rule in a restaurant that they didn't have to eat.

She nodded at him and gave another soft sigh. Now what to talk about. Think, think, think. What should they talk about? For some reason she found just sitting there in quietness was soothing. "So what do you want to talk about?" she questioned with a cheesy smile. Yes she resorted down to asking him about what to talk about because she didn't really know. Briony wasn't exactly a talker.

Well they had to talk did they? But he did like the quietness although he thought that talking was much better and they could get to know each other more. That was always good. Huh? That he didn't know but he had a question. Which was totally random but hopefully enough to start a conversation. "Actually I have a question. Would you rather read at Hogwarts or explore it?" That was one weird question but it was a start.

"Oh.." Nina felt suprisingly uncomfortable talking about this topic. So tried to bring up something else.
"So... Since your from Russia I guess you didn't study in Hogwarts then?" she said.

Briony looked at him with a raised eyebrow. Okkay definitely odd way to start a conversation but she supposed she would answer now wouldn't she. "I'd definitely resort to reading. Any particular reason you asked or was it just random?" she asked with a chuckle. The giggling and chuckling part she couldn't contain within herself so he was going to have to cut her a little slack.

Lucas shrugged. He was never good at starting a conversation. "I though so," he said nodding. "No reason, it was very random," he said with a smile. He couldn't help it. "So how about you ask me something, anything at all." Well they could get a conversation with this. But he had no idea plus they were talking, it was better than nothing.

"I figured it was," she commented with a nod. Almost anyone who knew her could guess that for sure. They could probably guess that right when they first met her even. Hmm...she thought about what she wanted to ask him. "I want to hear about your family and when you were younger. Any siblings or family members you just couldn't get along with?" she asked him, knowing it was a wide question, but he knew a lot about her when she was younger so she wanted to hear from him.

He chuckled at her reply and waited for her to give him a question. Family. That was easy. "Well I didn't have any siblings and my parents were alright not a lot of problems in my childhood actually it was alright. Well I had a cousin, a very close one but there was a very big age difference in fact she just started Hogwarts," he chuckled. He had hardly spoke to Melissa in his time in Wisconsin but now that he was in England again he could, well when he had chance to go he would but he couldn't right now because of Hogwarts. "I did actually get along with her, it was just her parents..." he trailed off, getting distracted for a moment. He cleared his throat and decided not to talk about her right now. "And of course you know about my cousins in Wisconsin."

Nath laughed softly and looked into his drink, "No Ma'am, Durmstrang Institute, for me, I assume you attended Hogwarts?"

Chris entered the restauraunt in the great city. It had been forever since he had been in this particular building. Looking around for a good and comfortable place to sit he ordered a 4 course meal and sat down waiting to see if any of his ministry friends might be around. Surely some of them had to be in here.

Alexandra entered the restaurant alone. She was really hoping to meet someone nice. She was new to the Accidents and Catastrophes department, and she really needed to make some friends. She recognizes a man from her division there, but doesn't know his name. She smiles slightly at him, as she sits down at her table and waits for a server to come.

Scott entered the restaurant, a rose in his hand as he looked nervously around. Good, he was there first. Picking an empty table, he put the flower on the surface before letting out a nervous breath.

What exactly did Nina want from him? He liked her - a lot - but he realized he wasn't sure what to say to her when she came. If hse came. No, when she came - she wouldn't stand him up. In any case - what to say? What to do?

He really had been out of the dating loop for too long...

...and on that note, was this even a date?

Alex had ordered some apple pie. It still hadn't come yet! She recognizes another person from work and thought 'Jeez, how many wizards come in here!' she thought 'Hmmm, maybe he's waiting for someone...' She shrugged it off and waited for pie.

Entering the Restaurant Nina immediately saw Scott from the few other people in there. She had changed her hair from caramel to the original blonde again feeling that she'll look more..what's the word, pretty? Of course she was and she knew it.
"Hey Scott." Nina smiled as she sat down and picked up the flower. Mmm.. it smelled good.

Scott was momentarily speechless when his date appeared. She had redyed her hair blond, and she looked positively stunning in this colour. That, coupled iwth her dazzling smile and the way she held the rose to smell it caused him to just sit there staring for a few minutes.

Trying to regain his composure, he quickly got up to move the chair for her so she could sit down. "Nina, you look beautiful," he said as he did so.

He took the seat back opposite her, waited until the waiter brought the menus and left, and only then did he speak again. "So how has your afternoon been?" he asked her, his hazel eyes observing her over the rim of the fancy menu he pretended to be looking at.

"Thank you Scott." she said as she looked at the menu.

After they have ordered Nina answered Scott's question.
"Very busy.." she sighed. "I don't even remember waking up because I am so tired.." she said.
"Well enough about me. How about you? How has your day been?" Nina felt goosebumps cover her as she said this. This sounded like 'How are you honey?' and 'I'm fine. How about you sweetie?' kind of thing. Nina was happy and nervous at the same time but of course didn't show it.

Okay.

She was a liiiiitttle early. Or maybe 20 minutes. But she needed to make sure she wasn't late. And it made a change from being late all the time. She stood infront of the restuarant best not to go in just yet cause she'd be sitting like a loner for 20 minutes and everyone would think she was weird. She stood slightly to the left of the doorway trying not to block it.
She straightened her dress she bit her lip. She was kinda overdressed Hmm. Maybe she should run back and change ? She decided against that she'd end up being late.
She looked down at her shoes as she waited for James to arrive.

James turned up looking gorgeously suave and sexy. () He opened the door to the restaurant and looked around the pretty blonde he'd liked enough to invite to dinner.

Ah, there she was.

And she looked.. incredibe. Kissing her cheek as he approached her, he winked, "You look gorgeous, Cora." And she did. He was early - girls seemed to like the on time ones and pointed out to a table he'd reserved. "Shall we?"

He was....hot. Like seriously. EEEEEEE. She bit her lip as he kissed her on the cheek. She returned his wink before blushing. "Thanks. You look very handsome, I must say." More like incredibly handsome. She nodded as he asked if they should go sit down. Today was obviously her lucky day, James the like hottest person on the planet had asked her out for dinner THEN He kissed her on the cheek. "Yeah." she answered incase he didnt see her nod.
