Rinatta walked into the restaurant for a snack after a bit of shopping. Honestly shopping wasn't exactely her favorite pastime ,but she needed to do it. She went shopping for clothes and had just bought her first muggle appliance...a cellular phone. She was pretty familiar with muggles, her family was of mixed blood, but she had never owned a muggle appliance. Picking a table near a window she sat down for a moment and set her shopping bags beside her. She felt rather alone right now ,as most of the people she knew were men. A woman can't go clothes shopping with a man she isn't dating and she didn't want to be seen doing that with Jared just in case. Her female friends, the two she did have, were pregnant or extremely busy. So that left her alone in her endeavours. She glanced around the restaurant to see if there was anyone she knew.

It was impossible even for a man like Ryan not to get surprised at what she had said over their favourite colours. If she knew what she had said meant, since she was blushing she knew, the man had to confess that she proved to be a little bit faster than he was which was...cool with him. Actually that was great. () ''Actually they are the same colour with a different tone so, yes, there's no doubt on how compatible they are'' *smirk*
Then he started with his steak while he listened to her giving more and more interesting information about herself. She had two children but there were no word of a man in her life despite that. So, as the man figured out, he was right at that day in the cafeteria. Hehe. He could not help but smile to himself when he remembered the fight Helena put against him at that day. She had been lovely just like she was now. ''Wow you speak many languages, that's a great skill indeed and unless you are kissing nifflers everyday, i don't think being allergic to them would be of any importance''
Ryan's smile was actually a very lovely one. Helena hadn't really conciously noticed it until now... Now that he was gazing right at her. She stuttered a small 'thanks' to the waiter, and took a sip of her drink, not looking away from Ryan. A feeling in her stomach was starting to form as she and Ryan looked at each other. A feeling she'd not felt in years... Butterflies... Helena had a bad case of butterflies right now.
Helena blushed even more as Ryan said this, and smiled shyly at his smirk. She wasn't sure if the fact that Ryan was making her feel like she was 15 again was a good thing or a bad thing, but at least he seemed to have thought the same as she did when Helena had uttered that sentence. She wanted to reply with something smart, but all that she managed to say in reply to Ryan was, "Uh huh.."
As she spoke, Helena noticed that Ryan didn't bring up their first meeting, nor one of the reasons for their arguement. Even when she brought up her children, Ryan still didn't mention it. And for that, Helena was very thankful. She beamed with pride as Ryan complimented and praised her multi-linguisticality. Helena wasn't even sure if that was a real word, but right then, she couldn't have cared less. "thank you." She laughed at Ryans next words, "No, I don't think so either," Helena smirked playfully at Ryan as a thought came to mind, and she just hoped that Ryan took what she was about to say next in the right way, "Though... Now that you've mentioned kissing your allergies, I think it would be a wise idea to tell you that I'm also allergic to men named Ryan..." Helena winked at Ryan and smiled. Ryan had really grown on her the past few weeks, and if she was honest with you, Ryan Chambers would be one allergy that she wouldn't mind kissing on a daily basis. Of course, Ryan would have to figure that out for himself though.
Her smiled matched his smile. "You better wear a rain coat. It gets pretty messy in there. Paris is still upset over the oatmeal in her hair," Egypt had to giggle about that. She had bathed them once and had to admit it was a war zone in their and Ben and Devon had the time of their lives in the tub.
He was trying and Egypt loved him all the more for it. He was trying to mend his family back together and she would do all that she could to help. "Dinner would be nice we haven't been to New York in awhile. I think a stop at Dylan's Candy Bar would be nice as well." She would rather go to the candy store than to dinner, but she wanted her family to be together and if Nathan wanted the family to go to dinner she would go. "Some place fun for dinner since I am the only one that likes the posh places," she teased with a smile. Her perfectly arched eyebrow raised up as he laughed at her idea for matching outfits. She leaned back and watched as he laughed like a little boy looking remarkably like his sons. It was cute and Egypt had to smile but she tried to be serious. "No, you and the boys just have green cumber-buns. Paris and I have green cocktail dresses." Egypt told him simply. She thought it was right smart and everyone looked good.
He saw the look that flicker across her face. She was busted. "I think two would work better," she said with a slow blush creeping across her face and an innocent smile on her lips.
She sighed, this was awkward and it hurt. They were never like this. Their conversations used to just flow so naturally and from the first day they met it was pure magic. She wasn't going to let this happen. She wasn't going to lose her husband over something she didn't do. She was not going to let her mother win. She leaned forward and put her elbows on the table and her head in her hands and looked at her husband. Really looked at him. The way they used to just stare at each other and communicate without words. She held his gaze, her brown eyes boring into his. "Nathan," she finally said. "You are the same man you were a year ago." she told him. "Living without us changed what you did not who you are. You are still Nathan Greenwood, devoted father and totally loving husband. You haven't changed." She told him softly as she stroked the back of his hand. He was scared that he had grown used to living without his family and he wasn't the same person he was a year ago. Yes he had grown but under the unkept hair he was still her husband and her children's father. "We don't have to get away from the world to get back what we had, but me and the children will follow you to the ends of the earth Nathan." Truth be told Nathan didn't fair well in the heat and it was a constant source of entertainment to her and the children to see Nathan turn alls hades of red and blistering under the burning sun. "I will not let her win. She will not destroy my family." She wasn't about to let that happen. "I never doubted your love. Not once." And that was the truth.
She fixed him with a look. "I am not speaking to that woman." Egypt wasn't even going to acknowledge that Afia was her mother. Mother's didn't do things like that to their daughters when they were perfectly happy with a man who loved them.
Egypt had a smile that could light up the darkest dreariest day in smog filled London. The couple may have been having problems, but in that moment, when she smiled at him that way, they were forgotten completely, and Nathan, once again, felt himself falling head over heals for this beautiful woman. He laughed softly at her words. “I don't mind a bit of mess.” He and Tristan being rained on by a full English breakfast.. grease and all, was proof of that.
Dylan's Candy Bar? Nathan's eyebrows raised a little in amusement of this thought. That place was like heaven on earth but.. “Do you think that's wise with seven kids?” heh. “Maybe after the show, eh? Otherwise we'll never get them to sit still.” Sugar rush. Not good. Merlin.. imagine taking Oliver. Oh Merlin. *shudder*. He tilted his jaw upwards and smirked a little. “KFC is not good enough for milady?” He asked donning a cockney accent. “Wherever you want to go I'll be happy.” He said seriously. “Even these posh places serve a good burger and chips.” He winked as he teased Egypt. Cumber-buns? What the heck was that!? Nathan's looked blankly at Egypt. “Errh..” He said. Gosh.. he was so ignorant about clothes and fashion. “Green cumber-buns?” He asked raising an eyebrow. It sounded like she was going to make them dress up like mouldy burger buns but she looked serious and Nathan didn't want to look like a complete idiot. He should know this stuff – he'd been married to Miss Fashionista for long enough to have taken something in...urrh.
He smiled and nodded. Two desserts it was. He might go for the Raspberry and Apple crumble with custard instead. Yum.
Nathan opened his mouth to say something else but he caught the look Egypt was giving him and he closed his mouth and simply looked back at her. They used to do this a lot: just look at each other. Into each others eyes like a couple of loved up teenagers.. even after a few years of marriage they still did it. At last she spoke and Nathan found his eyes closed as the sting of emotion threatened once again. He had been so stressed lately: the promotion he still hadn't told Egypt about and his situation with her and his family. He opened his eyes and listened, allowing Egypt to take his hand again and stroke the back of it. He yearned so much for her touch and the simple gesture was a comfort to him. “We're going to be ok, you and I, aren't we?” He said softly. The question didn't require a reply; it was an open admission from Nathan's heart. “I'll move back.” He said quietly. “I want to. The sooner the better now. I miss you and the kids so much.” But he was a stubborn git, just like his dad and his sister and his brothers; even like his half brother. The Greenwood stubborn gene was obviously extremely strong. But he had to give as well as take here. “She wont destroy it. We're stronger than the walls that surround Accra.” He smiled a little and squeezed Egypt's hand tenderly. “I love you.” He said softly and meant it more than he had since Egypt returned.
He winced a little when Egypt said she wasn't speaking to Afia. But it was fair enough.. really. “What about your sisters?” He asked gently, cocking his head to the side. He didn't mean Tommy or the twins. He meant the ones that still lived in Ghana ...with Afia.
Egypt nodded, "It will be messy but I think a bit of fun." she mused. It would be a spectacular mess and the boys would enjoy it immensely. Tweet wouldn't be so happy about it but the boys would be.
Her head tilted to the right. That was a fair point. Seven kids loose in a giant candy store and then you wanted to take them to the theater. That was a very bad idea. "Yeah I think after the show would be best. It can be a present to Willow I think." She knew Willow was going to be spectacular. The wee Greenwood was turing into a dynamo actress and ballerina. And Egypt was looking forward to going to Dylan's Candy Bar. It looked like heaven on Earth. She groaned when he mentioned KFC, "Oh not KFC Nathan," she hated that place she honestly did and he was his favorite eatery. And she couldn't understand why. "Anywhere but there." she begged with a smile playing at her lips. "We don't have to go to a posh place I don't think Ben and Devon would stand for it." In fact Paris and herself were the only ones that liked to go out to eat at posh places. The rest of the family would queue up to a drive thru everyday of the week if Egypt let them. "Well because you men will be in tuxedos." She explained. She wanted everyone to look nice for Willow's opening night, and plus she knew that muggle paparazzi would be there she wanted them to take good family photos. "Have you ever gone out looking silly with me dressing you?" she asked him with a raised eyebrow.
Ok good the dessert was settled and she would get a whole souffle to herself. That was always a good thing. And she might be able to nip some of Nathan's.
She smiled as Nathan settled down to just look at her. He was right, they were missing that intimacy they used to share. And she gathered it had more to do with the perception that they had changed or grown apart more than with what her mother had done. Not that Egypt was going to excuse her mother or even forgive her. She just sat and looked at him. Taking in the bright color or his emerald eyes, her favorite color in fact. The soft curve of his lips, the cheeky smile. There weren't any words that needed to be said by either of them. The simply contact between them expressed so much it almost made Egypt cry. She was falling in love with Nathan all over again. Like the first time they meet in the park. They were going to be ok. They were going to grow old together surrounded by their children, and their children and their children. More in love than the first day they met. "We miss you too Nathan. So much. The Greenwoods aren't the same without you," she smiled. Their family wasn't a family without Nathan. It just didn't work. "We can have a good knees up." she told him using his favorite word. All they needed was an excuse to have a good party. The children certainly would enjoy a party. Her finger traced the back of his hand as he spoke.
Her eyes misted up a bit at his words. "Yes we are." They were going to get through this and they were going to come out stronger on the other side. "I love you so much," she answered back as he squeezed her hand.
She nodded. "I speak to all of my sisters. We all grew up with her we know how she is." Truth be told the Riddle girls favored their father over their mother. "They all are supporting us," Even her oldest sister Asia who sometimes tended to agree with Afia about what Egypt was doing with her life.

Though she seemed to be determined to use her beautiful eyes, the man could see that she was even more beautiful when she blushed. He smiled and nodded when she thanked him while he took a sip from his drink, finally looking away from the woman for a short time. But only for a short time since her next words made him froze for a split moment. Froze out of surprise of course, it was surprising and also alluring that Helena turned out to be faster than he was. So, his smile left its place to a cunning one as he spoke ''That's an interesting thing to say. Yet have you tried it out? I think you should make sure of it to find the right cure. That is what any doctor or healer would tell you. ''

Helena continued to watch Ryan, even when he looked away. She smiled to herself at the man's reaction to her words, though her smile didn't last long as Ryan began to speak. She looked down at her food, which was actually quite nice considering that it was muggle food. Looking back up at Ryan, she laughed a little, "Interesting indeed... But no, I can't say I ever have." She looked right at him, "I think ... that you might just be right, Ryan Chambers." She smiled lightly and looked out of the window. It was dark now, though there was still a garish light all down the street from the street lights. There were no stars at all, Helena noticed. That's the nice thing about living away from the city... You can see all the stars at night. Helena tucked some of her hair behind her ear as she looked back to Ryan and smiled at him.

Ryan gave the woman one of his famous half smiles when she remarked that she had not tried it out. ''So, i don't think it is right to decide without any experience'' he said his light blue eyes fixed at the woman's for a moment then he looked back at his meal. ''I like how they have cooked the steak here'' then the man said suddenly, not that he had forgotten the importance of the previoud topic but he wanted to see Helena's reaction to that sudden topic change.
Taking a sip from his drink he watched her as she looked out ''I really do like summer nights even in a city. What would you say if i asked you to have a little walk after our meals?''

Helena smiled and rolled her eyes playfully at Ryan's next comment. She locked eyes with his for a moment, and just as she went to respond with something, the man spoke again. She frowned lightly at his words. How on Earth was that relavent at all with what they were discussing? Helena raised her perfectly shaped eyebrow at him and his words. She could sense that he'd did it intentionally. To get a reaction from her. Well he wouldn't. Not a verbal one, anyways. Helena smiled sweetly at him, "Yes, I have to say... It is very nicely made."I make steak better, though. She said this looking right at Ryan, not even glancing at her half-eaten steak.
Helena looked away from the window and to Ryan as he spoke up again, and this time she gave him a genuine smile for his comment. "I think a little walk would be nice." She said to him as she tucked some of her hair behind her ear, frowning slightly at him still for his sudden change of topic before.
Marlon stepped into the restaurant which he had visited on his first day at work and strode toward his usual table - next to the pretty window. Descending, he ordered french toasts straight away and glanced outside the window. As his hazel green orbs wandered about, he noticed the same old butterfly he had seen at the cafe. Was this pretty little thing following him around? How cute! Smiling at it, he leaned back on his chair, frowning slightly as he waited for his food to arrive. He was HUNGRY. Raaaawr.

Logan had ventured to the restaraunt after much debate. She wasn't that hungry, but wanted a drink. As she stepped in, she looked around for a nice table, one that would shade her somewhat from everyone else. It's not that she wasn't social, but she did like her privacy. But then she noticed a young man sitting alone and decided to pluck up the courage to go and sit with him. Having more friends was always nice.
Clutching her novel in her hand, she walked over to him, smiling warmly. "Hello there. May I sit here?" She asked him politely, immediately thinking of a back up answer if he said no.

Marlon shot an impatient glance at his watch when the waiter didn't arrive with his order. What the hell was he doing? Surely french toasts weren't hard to prepare! Resting his forehead on the top of his arm, he inwardly frowned. Violent thoughts - like punching the hell out of the waiter - filled his mind but he suppressed them. He was a very patient man but when it is about his food, he'd lose temper before you could count till 10. As he balled his fist, a sweet, feminine voice caught his attention. He lifted his head, a frown never leaving his face as she asked if she could join him. Of course, she could. He'd never say no to a woman - a woman this pretty. "It's all yours." He beckoned her to take a seat and smiled without any effort. "Lovely day, isn't it?" He asked, obviously trying to strike up a conversation thought the day was actually very lovely. Warm yet cool enough to enjoy the sun.

Logan noticed that something was clearly upsetting him, though she did not know what--yet. Smiling once again, she took a seat, smoothing out her black skirt as she did so. "Oh. Yes, very lovely, indeed," She responded to his attempt at a conversation. She couldn't blame him--she would've done the exact same thing. Logan glanced out at the sun outside throught the window that was on her left, and crossed her legs underneath the table.
Looking back at him, she supposed it time to make introductions. "I'm Logan Ricci," She said, extending her hand towards the man, who she realized now was quite handsome.
Jake walked into the restaurant and sat himself down at a table for 2. He was meeting someone here, who he's not spoken too in a while, and he wanted to make a good impresion. He straightend his tie and looked around quickly. He glanced at himself in the window refelction and stopped fussing around. He was fine. Just a worry pot. he looked at the time on his phone, and hoped she wasn't going to stand him up. He started to text her, then decided it might sound a bit desperate, so he decided to wait for a while. It was only 10 minites after the agreed time. Stop worrying.
Katherine rushed into the restaurant, her cheeks blushed and her new dress swishing around her. She spotted Jake in the corner on a two table. Aw,, cute. She walked over to the table and smiled at him. "Jake Diogry." She shook her head, grinning. "It's been a while." She admitted as she ben down to kiss his cheek. She went to sit down on the chair opposite. She put her shopping bags under the table and took off her jacket. "I am so sorry I'm-" She glanced at her watch, "15 minutes late." She apologised, "I told myself I wouldn't stop off shopping, but then I saw this cute boutique had a sale! And I'd seen nice stuff in there before, so I thought i'd have to have a look, and the stuff in their was gorgeous! So I apologise dearly." She said, smiling again, flushed.

Jake smiled widely when Katherine came in. She looked beautiful, and all his nervousness went away when she started talking. "Katherine, It has." He kissed her cheek back and pulled her chair out so she could sit down. "It's fine really, I only just arrived myself." He lied smoothly, "But I must say, you do look beautiful in that flowery dress." He winked at her, "You look so different from last time I saw you. For the better, of course." He glanced at her shopping bags, "Had fun then I guess?" he chuckled before picking up a menu. "So, what would you like to order?" He asked, he aways thought it better if they ordered first and then they could talk whilst waiting and eating and after.

"Why thank you." Kat blushed, "You are one for giving compliments aint you?" She laughed and then took a menu herself. "Yes, I did have fun. Lots of it." She laughed with him. "Hmmmmm... I like the sound of...Taglatelli. Yes, yum. I think i'll have Tagglatelli with the mushroom sauce. And a glass of red wine, seeing as though it's nearing the end of the day." She smiled, looking out the window at the darkning sky.

He ordered everything to the waitor, and when he'd gone, he put his arms on the table. "So, what been going on with you lately then? Lots of catching up to do."

"Dad's got a stage higher at the Ministry, and Moms trying to figure out what to buy a 13 year old girl." She laughed, "her grand daugher, my niece, Tiffany, she's 13 soon, and we're a tad confused on what to get her. any ideas?"

"Ah yes, little Tiffany. She's 13 already? How time flies..." he murmered. Last time he'd see Tiffany, she was about 5 years old. He smiled, remembering. "Well, I don't have any family ot friend relations of that age, but might I suggest a new broomstick if she's into sport." He thought for a moment, "Enlighten me, I havent met her in almost 8 years, what's she like?" He could guess, but it wouldn't be right.

"You're telling me." She laughed, "It seems like just yesterday I was at her christning, becoming a God Mother..." SHe trailed off, smiling. "She's not really into - She looked aorund quickly, "Quidditch" She whispered, then back to her normal voice: "though, she takes after me, if you can remember what I was like at school?"She laughed loudly, "I've changed alot since Hogwarts. I'm afraid of meeting people in my house, incase they rememeber the other side of me." She giggled again, "I was so different...Anyway, Tiffany. She's alot like I was. The average SLytherin. She's very girly, all into her nails and hair, quite vain. Loves pink and black, but I'm worrying she's getting into that emo stage of life, thats all. But usually she's quite snooty when she first meets someone, but once you know her, she's a lovely girl, she really is. I was thinking of getting her some beauty prodcuts from that cute little shop in Diagon Alley, whats it called...ah well, you know what I mean. I think she's like that. But they're all so expensive! It's dear there it really is... I went to that muggle bookstore across the road just before, met Annie there, I was just looking for some books for her, as she's quite into reading, but I don't know what she likes...I know she likes reading, but I don't know what. Old books, teenage books, witches and wizards books...." She laughed, looking around at the muggles, "they're quite precise I gotta say," She whispered, giggling.

Jake listned intently, "Hmmm..." He thought for a moment, "Yes, I rememeber what you were like." he laughed with her, "I would never have thought we'd be sitting her now eating dinner together, well ,will be, back then. You were so different..." he smiled, "It's nice knowing you're nicer now, than you were. Are you still in touch with you...old friends?" He asked. "Well, I couls club together with you and we could get Tiffany a big beauty set from there if you like? It'd be like a birthday slash 'sorry I've not seen you in 8 years' presesnt from me?"

She'd finally found Pippa.
And they'd arranged to meet here in muggle london. She walked into the doors of the resurant and stood by the door. She'd wait for Pippa before she sat down just incase Pippa didn't like the spot she chose to sit in. They hadn't seen each in a while, Pippa might've changed. She looked out the window too see if Pippa was on her way.

Kat laughed, "I know..how people change as time changes." She laughed. She rolled her eyes. "And no, I'm not still in touch with my old friends...I mean, they were nice and all, well to me, but we just... After we graduated we never saw eachother again. Then I got a job here and I just...changed I guess, found there was more to life than gossip." She laughed at his next comment, "No It's fine really, Like you said, it's been 8 years! I bet she doesn't even remember you, no offense." She giggled, "I'll just get her something little from there...Maybe for her 16th I'll splash out."

"Well, I'm glad you changed." he said with a smile. "And it's weird your best friends with my sister..." He laughed. "I suppose she wont...We'll have to meet up some time, maybe a shopping spree? Or we could come here for something to eat on her birthday? It could be yourself, Annie, myself, Tiffany of course, and perhaps a few of her friends?" He suggested.

Pippa was not late, she was never late, however ... she had had to look through her yearbook to remember what Cora had looked like back in the day. Maybe she had changed, maybe she hadn't but it had certainly brought back memories. Certainly had.
After arguing with the daycare assistant who wouldn't take Rory for the day, Pippa had been forced to bring the now-five year old with her. Cora wouldn't mind right? If she did, well they could always rearrange. Taking his hand carefully, as she pushed the door open of the restaurant, she bent down quickly and gave his long hair a ruffle. "Now, you be good for Auntie Pah, yeah? And then we'll get you a spiderman toy afterwards, or maybe some chocolate. Okay?" She gave him another smile, and led him into the place, before hoisting him up onto her hip, so as not to lose him and then progressed to looking for Cora.
A blonde. Had to be her, it looked liker her anyways. "Cora? Cora Drake?"
