What if Pippa was here ? And like she didn't look the same, and like she didn't recognise her. Oh man. That wouldn't be good. She'd probably end up sitting here for ages while Pippa was sitting somewhere waiting for her and then they'd never talk for ages cause they thought both of them ditched each other. MANNN, She'd better keep her eye out. She watched as people came in the door. A man, certainly not Pippa, a Lady, nahh she was too old to be Pippa. Umm. Surely she'd recognise her when she walked in. Then a lady with a child came through the door. Pippa didn't have a son did she ? Well they hadn't seen each other since Hogwarts so she might've had a child since then. Cora decided not to say anything, just incase she called her and it was some random stranger and then she just look like a complete weirdo, and that wouldn't be good. She eye'd the women as she spoke to the little boy, maybe she'd say her name then she'd know if it was Pippa or not.

Darn. She couldn't quite make out what she was saying. She looked out the window to check if Cora was coming. Then someone said her name, she turned around. Oooohkay, so it was the lady with a child. She slightly lifted her hand in the air. "Umm. Pippa Norcott ?" she said taking a few steps closer to where the women was standing.

Obviously, well obviously this woman wasn't Cora. Just from that moment of silence, and noone answering to the name.

That was, until someone's hand went in the air, and Pippa's name was being said. "Cora? Oh... Oh.. It's been years.." Pippa said, stating the obvious, but it was just breaking the ice in her opinion. Not that there should have been any ice to break. "I never thought I'd see you again, never thought I'd see anyone again from Hogwarts, well.. I never intended to. Never intended to come back to the UK. I heard you moved to America? Oh... Look at me, I'm babbling, oh.. It's lovely to see you Cora." And with thats said and done, the one blonde hugged the other, with her free arm.

Yaays! It was Pippa. Moving so she was standing right next to Pippa she beamed at the little boy in her arms. He was adorableee. She looked back at Pippa and shot her a smile

She didn't really know what to say. What was she meant to say ? What have you been doing these past... 7 years. Yeah like anyone would be able to remember unless there was super important stuff like yeahh... "I know." she said, biting her lip. That was a lame thing to say, even if it was something to say, atleast she'd said something, it was better than not saying anything right ? "I know. I never thought i'd see you either. I wasn't planning on coming back, But then my roomate moved to Canada and I thought well why not." she said, smiling not feeling so awkward anymore. "Yeah I did. Nah dont worry, babblings fine. Its great to see you too, Pippa." she smiled again as Pippa gave her a hug before quickly returning the hug. "So this little fella' yours ?" she said, petting the boys hair slightly.

Pippa laughed lightly, at seeing Cora biting at her lip, after all the years of knowing her, she knew full well that she did that when she was feeling awkward. And she had reason to, big reason to. Not seeing one of your best friends for years really made things weird between people. People, being Cora and herself.

Nodding as Cora spoke, then spoke once more, in more detail, Pippa gave her a little nod, before saying: "You staying with your parents then?" From what she could remember, Cora's parents were still abaout, weren't they? Pippa's brain wasn't as great as it had always been with that kind of stuff. "Mine? No... He's... He's my sisters. I'm sole guardian... She... Well.. There was a car crash, I don't like talking about it infront of Rory. I'll explain another time." She smiled and then watched as Rory leaned forward to pet Cora's hair too.

It was awesomely nice too see Pippa again, she'd missed her over the past few years. Well, it was hardly a few but yeah she knew what she meant and she was the only one who needed to know unless Pippa could now read minds, But probably not. She smiled at her again, she was really glad to be back in the UK again. Even if it was much, much colder.

She decided against, throwing anymore questions at Pippa because well it would seem like she was ambushing her which she was gonna try not to do especially after Pippa had apologized for babbling. She shook her head slightly as she asked if she was staying with her parents. "Well...no. They moved to Scotland, well my mom did. My dads somewhere in wales or something. I'm staying at a hotel just down the street before I get a flat somewhere." she said with a small nod. Darnit. She'd opened her big mouth once again and said something stupid without thinking."Um...Pip...Pippa..Im so..sorry." she bit her lip and didn't say anything else because well, she'd probably say something else stupid. She smiled, feeling a little less guilty as the little boy tried to pet her hair.

Pippa shook her head as she set Rory down, and watched as he hurried off to find a table. "I guess, I guess we have a table, Cora." She laughed and then started to follow her nephew. "A hotel? A HOTEL? Cora, Cora you can't. Come and stay with us for a while, it'll be nice to have the company, really. For however long, there's enough room."

Chewing at her own lip, Pippa smiled softly at Cora and shook head. "It's fine.... It's been two and a half years."[/b]

Cora giggled as Pippa's nephew ran off somewhere, he might've gone to find them a table, or maybe he really needed the bathroom. Shrug. "Yeah." She said following Pippa, as she followed her nephew. "You sound like my mum. No, I couldn't possibly. You've got your hands full with your nephew. I dont wanna cause any trouble." she said biting her lip, it was awful nice of Pippa, but she didn't wanna be a trouble to her.

She decided again, not to say anything just incase she made Pippa upset. It was her sister they were talking about after all.

Pippa laughed as she watched Rory bounce up into a chair, and gave him a little wave as he beckoned Cora and herself over to him. "I think he picked us somewhere to sit." She grinned, as she quickly shot a glance at her childhood friend, and for a moment with the chewing of the lip again, and persistency of not wanting to be a bother, reminded her of every day they had spent at school together.

"You wouldn't be a bother, really. I could probably do with the help for a while, with work, Rory and walking the dog, I never really have much time to keep the house in tip top shape. It would be my pleasure. I'm asking you, to help me."

Cora giggled as she noticed Pippa's newphew choose a table and sit at it by himself. Awww, he was adorableee. "Yeah, hes cute." she smiled back at Pippa continuing her way over to the table. She thought some more about moving in with Pippa, she would've preffered living their as to living by herself cause that'd be super boring, but she didn't wanna bother Pippa, as she'd thought about before. She ever so slightly shoook her head trying to get her thoughts out of their.

"Are you sure ?" She thought more about the points that Pippa had just stated, she could help her so that would be a up side. "Okay. Whatever, I'll stay with you for a bit then. Happy now ?" she said smiling at her old school friend.

Pippa looked over at Cora as she spoke and nodded. "Looks like his mum.... Hair like her too. Nothing like his father.. More like his mum." She grinned and then slid into the seat beside her nephew, pulling out a beaker of orange juice from her bag and giving it to him.

"Of course I am. Look, don't think of it as me helping you, think of it as you helping me. I'd really appreciate it." Pippa nodded, as she then watched Cora decide to stay with her. "Thats great.... I'll give you the address later."

Following Pippa to the table where her newphew was sitting she sat on the empty chair as Pippa took a seat next to her newphew. She wasn't realy sure what to say, well that wouldn't be a first. But what was she meant to say ? She bit her lip but smiled as she handed a bottle of orange juice and gave it to her nephew.

"Okay then. Thats settled. Thanks again." she said looking up from Pippa's nephew to Pippa and smiling. Yaay! She didn't have to stay in a hotel, she looked back too Pippa's nephew and smiled.

Pippa smiled as she hoisted the five year old properly into his chair and then looked over at her friend. "Anytime." The twenty-something year old blonde looked down at her hands for a moment, and then decided to speak again, nothing beat an awkward conversation that questions and ability to babble.

"How was America, I was going to visit, but then I went out to Africa, and then Rory happened, and then I had to move back, and start working here..." And because they were accompanied by muggles, in the surrounding area, she made no reference to Hogwarts, nor the Ministry. Because she was smart. Hehe

Ryan could not help but to smile at the woman's expression when he started to talk about the steaks they were eating in a sudden. And since she did not implied anything like how crazy he was, the man took it as a good sign not to mention that it was an easy way to learn if she could cook well. When they believed that they did something well, women usually tend to lightly appreciate the work before them but lightly to subconsiciously imply that they could do it better.

''Well, well, well'' if she could cook well that was good news ''Ehem...sorry'' whatever. ''So, if you are done with your meal, i'd like to suggest you a short wandering around''

Cora began twisting a small strand of her long blonde hair around her finger, just too pass the time. It probably would just make time drag on and on but yeah, It never hurt to try. She looked at Pippa's nephew then at Pippa then back to the middle of the table, she looked back up as Pippa began speaking. Yaaay conversation!

"Expensive. Nah, Im kidding well it was but yeah It was good Thanks. Africa ? Wow. How was it ?" she said smiling. Maybe her next venture would be to africa. Maybe it was a lot cheaper, probably. "So how long you been working here ?" she asked, adding in another question to keep the conversation going and following Pippa's pattern of not mentioning the ministry.

Helena looked at Ryan as he spoke and rolled her eyes lightly, smiling as he apologised. He really did seem like a completely different person.

"Yes... I'm finished with my meal. Do you suggest we go anywhere in particular? Or just wander through the streets?" Helena had never really ventured around Muggle London. She wouldn't be able to tell you where the closest park was even if you paid her. Looking out of the window again briefly, Helena admired the lilies that Ryan gave her with a small smile on her face - totally unaware that she was doing so.

Georgina Muldoone was in need of somewhere different. A muggle restaraunt seemed to be the perfect place, she walked through the door, and decided she should sit somewhere on her own, she wasn't sure if there was a hostess or not. Georgina knew quite a bit about muggle life, as she is half muggle herself. Maybe she could meet a very nice muggle friend or if she was lucky a handsome muggle man. Or even a wizard one, though wizards don't stray from the wizarding world too much. Still, either would make it a lucky day and turn her mood around. She wasn't feeling too great today, a million thoughts running through her mind about living on her own and a new job in the ministry that she still wasn't sure she could handle. Oh well, she just cleared her head and looked at the menu for something to drink and maybe eat.

Ryan laughed when Helena rolled her eyes at him and just watched how beautiful she was even when doing that. ''What about doing it spontaneously? We will take our steps towards where our hearts lead us.'' And he meant it both for their relationship and for the destination they were going to take.

After paying for their meals, he always had Muggle money which was one of the advantages of being a Muggleborn, he stood up and gently took the woman's hand ''Now, dear lady, let me assist you''

Helena smiled at Ryan as he laughed, taking in how amazing his laughter was. She listened to his suggestion and nodded, "I think that's a wonderful idea." She ignored the fact that Ryan's wording had made her blush a little and smiled to herself as it just confirmed how much of a romantic that Ryan really was, and Helena also couldn't help but wonder if Ryan meant more than just where they were going to walk to now as he spoke.

While Ryan paid the waiter, Helena put her coat back on. She smiled as Ryan held her hand, and turned her eyes away from him slightly with a grin on her face as the man spoke. She stood up and picked up the lilies as she looked back at Ryan, with her eyes looking into his, "Very well, then. Shall we go?" She asked him with a small smile.

He liked how women blushed. He liked how Helena blushed and to be frank to himself Helena looked quite attractive when she blushed and smiled. Still holding her hand gently, Ryan got on his feet ''Great. I am glad you liked the idea. So, we shall''.

Before he walked leading Helena out the restaurant into the dark street, he looked at her face for a moment or so his eyes fixed at hers and he completed that look with a warm smile.

Helena smiled slightly as Ryan lead her out of the restaurant, feeling quite content. She looked up at Ryan as she heard the restaurant door shut behind them to find the man already looking at her. She smiled warmly back at him and started walking down the street with him.

Olivia was hoping for a quiet meal.She been awfully busy at work, what with the damn overflow in the loos.It had thankfully not taken long to fix, but the paperwork would surely be longer.That, however, was on her desk awaiting to be done the next day - for now she was in the lovely restaurant across from the Ministry, trying to blend in and have a nice dinner.

"Thank you," smiling at the waitress as a bowl of pasta was placed in front of her, Olivia tucked her napkin onto her lap, and started to slowly eat it.All the while looking whistfully out the window at the people passing by.

Silas had decided that he wouldnt go straight home that evening. He wanted to explore the muggle area outside of the Ministry a little in case he ever mis-apparated and ended up there or something.

His eyes came across a restaurant that looked reasonably nice so he decided to go in. It couldnt do any harm, after all. He was dressed pretty much as a muggle (apart from the robe he wore, although he had seen the occassional muggle wearing long coats similar to his robe). He assumed it would be fine to go in though, just so long as he ordered something.

He ordered a coffee once inside and then glanced around for somewhere to sit. It seemed that most of the tables were either taken or reserved, though, so he took to looking for a friendly person instead. He soon found someone and headed over to their table. "Hello, Miss. Do you mind if I sit with you?" he asked, smiling at her.

Miss? Someone was talking to her...

Olivia swallowed the mouthful of pasta she had, and turned her attention away from the window, and towards the direction of the voice.A man was stood hovering next to her, apparently wanting to sit. "Ohh, yes - yes of course.Please do," she gestured to the empty seat opposite her, returning the smile she'd been given.She took a quick glimpse around as furtively as she could.Seemed like the tables had really begun to fill up.Poor guy having to sit with her....

"Nice evening out," she grinned, nodding towards the window and wiping the corner of her mouth with the napkin.

Silas smiled gratefully at her and sat in the seat she had motioned to. He was tired and needed to rest for a while and drink the coffee he had ordered. It was never as good in the muggle world some how but he didnt have an awful lot of choice really. "It is," he agreed, his eyes wandering across the street outside. "It seems like it's getting warmer all the time as well," he added, setting his coffee down on the table before he spilled it on anyone. Himself he wouldnt care so much about but he knew it wouldnt be right to spill it on a woman he had only just met.

"I'm Silas Emmett, by the way," he said as he looked back up at her again and smiled. He probably should have introduced himself before he sat down but all the same, better late than never in his opinion.

So, here's the thing about Dessie - she likes to eat. A LOT. So much, in fact, that she often wonders how it's possible she's still stick-skinny. It was weird.

Tucking her wand inside her pocket, Dessie crossed the street away from the Ministry and walked into the restaurant she had spotted a few days ago. It looked nice, and not too fancy. Fancy meant expensive, and Dessie pretty much had a balance of zero at the bank.

Finding a seat, Dessie swiftly ordered a Coke -as always- and began to eye the menu, her stomach growling. She had eaten a piece of toast with butter, and grabbed a coffee at work - but that was it for today. She was STARVING.
