Damien beamed at her and stepped forward to pull out a chair for her. "What would make you think otherwise?" he asked playfully as he placed his hand on her back and led her to the seat. "You think I'm sweet? You should taste those chocolates."

"But that's the point," Sion said. "Men tend to think I can't pull up chairs for myself. I can." Then she added, "That doesn't mean I don't want you to pull up one for me." Because, you know, his hand felt warm. Or at least strong. Sion decided she liked it.

"You think they're sweet? You should get to know me."

She smiled playfully.

Damien let his hand linger on her back for a moment longer and then pulled up a chair and waited for her to be seated. He smiled slightly at her and replied, "Well I never assume anything about anyone. But manners are manners." He gave her a sly wink as he slid into a chair opposite her.

"I already think you're sweet. I would, however, love to get to know you better," he said smoothly as he motioned for a waiter to come take their order.

Nina blushed. "Uh, no not really.." she said. Well now what? Oh no it's one of these awkward silent moments is it? She just hoped that her cheeks were not flushing pink and red. At this thought, she smiled.

"From where I'm standing," Sion said quietly, as she sat down and crossed one leg over the other. "Sometimes some manners tend to look like they have roots in an ages-old bias." Her tones weren't serious, even light, and she gave him a dimpled smile the moment she had fallen silent -- but you couldn't have doubted it was a subject Sion could have spoken on far more seriously, if she had wanted to.

"That's an indisputable fact," Sion said, sweetly. "God, I sound vain again. Well, Mr. Jackson. I'm Sion Jetza, my middle name is Logan, and I'm twenty-four. You name a city, and I've been there if it's worth its salt. I have a lovely brother who thinks I'm the best thing on Planet Earth, and I love roses. Does that help?"

Mm.

The blonde sat there in the awkwardness and tried to act un awkward.

She bit, her lip as he began staring at her looking sorta confused. Hmmm. That couldn't be good now could it. She shrugged it off until he said he was joking. Joking about what? Whatever it was it wasnt very funny.

Cora smiled feeling a little better as he laughed. Atleast the awkwardness was drifting away. She leant her head on her hand. "Yeah, he's a little full of himself at times." even at his age, which was super annoyigng. One thing she hated more than him talking about spiderman was him talking about himself.

Brian's attention slightly turned to Kenzie now when Erik mentioned about her new job. Good thing, na? "Wow, Congrats! In which post?" he asked her, smiling, thinking about how he planned to meet the editor when he was campaigning for Reagan. lol.

But Becca was so amazing for not giving attention for long. Brian grinned, "It was a secret. But you liked it already, didnt you?" he talked about the surprise dinner, "Yeah, that's the one. We can share, okay?" he said and waited for the waitress to come and get their order, enjoying their proximity.

Smiling when she heard Kenzie speak, Becca turned to look at her and shook her head at her "I had to think long and hard about who to hire. It was so obvious you're the one for the job, but obviously, you quit..so.." she trailed off with a smile "I'm sure you'll be amazing at your new job!" Her full attention went straight back to Brian instantly.

"Mmm.. yeah." she giggled "You're too nice to me" she kissed him lovingly, silently thanking him for the dinner that was waiting for them. "Definitely" she hummed, looking up at him happily when he said they could share. She loved sharing with him, it made her feel so special and happy.

Erik smirked at Kenzie as she murmured her thanks and squeezed her side. She was going to be great at it he knew it. Listening to the two across from him he fidgeted next to Kenzie and picked up his glass of water to take a sip. It seemed like Brian and Becca were in their own little world.... Glancing at Kenzie he watched her for a moment and a small smile came to his face.

He was really happy to have her and the fact that she was going to stay just made him happier. He was barely paying attention to the lovey dovey duo on the other side of the table

Listening to Becca, she blushes a little. It was too bad really that she had left...but if she hadn't her and Erik probably wouldn't be together right then. Smiling up at Erik softly, she puts her hand on his leg. She was so happy she felt she would burst.

Hearing Brian's question, she looks over at him again "I'm a photographer for the London division." Her mind wandering back to her younger days after she had finished at Hogwarts a smile plays at her lips "I haven't done photography in years, so I look forward to getting back into it."

Her eyes meet Erik's again, wondering where their lives would take them from here. She definitely couldn't wait to find out.

Missy walks in the restaurant and go to the table the waitress sat her at she sit down beside roesline and hunter and joseph she orders 4 glasses of pink lemonade and mac&chess and chicken nuggets for her kids and a stake and green bean and mash potatoes ,hunter orders the same

Damien nodded his head at her and said, seriously, "I do understand what you are saying but old habits die hard. I think it is good manners to hold doors open for people and pull out chairs for beautiful women. That is how I was raised." He gave her a thousand watt smile after his spiel and then took the wine menu from the waiter. "Would you prefer to order the wine or do you have a preference?"

Damien smiled softly at her as she spoke and nodded his head. "Yes that helps a lot. I am Damien Jayden Jackson, 35 years old, trained to be an Auror in the American Ministry, only child... I love being outdoors, especially on the ocean. I love going out on my boat and just... hanging out," he said. "Does that help you?"

"Oh, I like people who hold doors open," Sion laughed. "But sometimes, people tend to overdo it, if that makes any sense." She had met quite a few overdoing types, in her life so far. Mm, the drinks. "Order what you will, please," she said, after a moment's thought. "I think I want to know your preferences." It would be a nice change.

Jayden. "What a lovely middle name," Sion said, sweetly. "I see we have something in common - I'm an outdoor type, too. Quidditch, stitchstock, skydiving, football, surfing - I've tried them all. Of course," her tones acquired a touch of humour. "I can't say I've been successful at all of them." She had broken a few bones, trying her hand at some; and been a complete disaster at others. Then there were those she was actually good at.

Did that help? "A little," she smiled. "Though I wonder what 'hanging out' means to you." She had realized, over the years, that it tended to mean a lot of different things, for different people.

Photographer! Wow..what an exciting job! Seeing things through the lens is always interesting and good experience.

Playing gently with Becca's fingers, Brian's blue eyes now turned to Kenzie, "Nice job! So you have some experience on that line, right?" he was bit curious now, trying to get new informations about the photography if anything out there.

Mmm. He felt something soft and familiar against his lips now. Haha..Becca's lips. "Hey.." he smirked and kissed her back tenderly, "Yeah, call the waitress and order for us. I dont want to take risk with them.." he chuckled and nudged her head with his gently. It was risky to talk with waitresses in front of Becca. Too Risky, always!

Taking a glance at Erik he just grinned, wondering how they were going to work together in future to keep the law and order situation under control.

Smiling at Brian, Becca happily felt his fingers playing with hers and beamed. Giggling at his response to her kiss, she grinned and then nodded "Yes sir" she brushed her nose against his and then looked away to order the milkshake for them as a waitress approached them. "Kenzie?" she offered, letting the other two order what they wanted. Keeping her eyes on the waitress, Becca happily played with Brian's fingers, smiling.

"Yes, I did some travelling when I was younger, before I went back to get more schooling. I enjoyed taking pictures but haven't done it in years." Watching as the waitress came over, and Becca ordered "I think it'll be challenging at first, but I believe I'll enjoy it all the same."

"I'll get the chicken salad." Turning toward Erik, she nods squeezing his leg, gently. Thinking about how much more time she'd have to spend with him, her eyes twinkle with happiness. She wouldn't be concerned about what was happening in the Time Room or the department even.

Looking back at Brian, "Things haven't changed that much in the last 10 years, I've discovered. It'll be a nice change of pace, that's for sure."

Erik smiled into his glass of water as he got everyone asking about Kenzie's new job. She really did to enjoy talking about it more than the ministry position.

As Becca finally got the waitress' attention he smile at her politely, "And I'll have the steak, medium well, steamed vegetables and mashed potatoes." He looked at Kenzie with a smirk, "What I've got ta nourish this physique somehow." He kissed Kenzie on her cheek and whispered teasingly so only she could hear, "And ye know ye like it."

Giggling, she nuzzles closer to him, as he whispered in her ear. Picking up her glass of ice water, her eyes twinkle in laughter. Knowing Brian and Becca knew he hadn't heard that, she still turns a little pink.

Remembering something, Kenzie looks up at Erik slightly. "One of my coworkers had some tickets to the concert tomorrow night." Giving him a small peck on the chin, she asks quietly "Would you like to go with me?"

Erik smiled as he saw her turn slightly pink. He'd take that as a yes. His arm around her still he gave her a squeeze. He did love her so much and now that she wasn't at the ministry they could spend more time together.

As she said something about a concert he looked at her curiously, "Who's playin'?" Not that it mattered he'd go anyway he was just curious. "O' course I'll go with ye."

She knew why he smiled, he had a thing about making her blush. Poking him in the side with her other hand, she laughs.

Her mouth pursing trying to keep from giggling again, "Well, it's not exactly a concert." smirking at the memory of why Egypt couldn't take the tickets, she wonders if Erik would still want to go. "It's Karaoke actually."

Chris took the latest new food items that were available and sat down at the nearest table he find. He wondered when his latest meeting would be over. Looking around he wondered if any of his friends were interested in joining him.

Damien nodded his head. "I do underdstand. I think I have just the right balance of old world manners though," he said with a sly smile. After glancing over the wine list he order a vintage bottle of rose for the table. He did enjoy all types of wine but rose was his favorite.

Damien laughed softly and smiled, "I have never been a quidditch fan but I have tried it also. I did play a lot of American football though and stitchstock is great as well. I enjoy contact sports very much." He felt his cheeks flush slightly as he picked up his water glass and took a long sip.

Damien nodded his head and thought about it for a moment. "Hanging out to me is relaxing and just kind of being one with your surroundings. That is why I spend so much time outdoors. Being one with nature is a freeing experience."

James wanted to find a hole and bury himself in it. He'd never had such a bad first date before. This was HORRIBLE

He wondered how it would look if he got up and told her his mother had died and he needed to go see her..

Full of himself? James knew that feeling. "I'm starting to like this kid," He teased with a wink. He sounded about like James himself.
"Is Cody in middleschool?"

Cora had been on a lot of dates, probably too many with people she didn't acctually like. But anyways she was just trying to be kind to those certain people whose names wouldnt be mentioned. But this was different, to her, maybe it was just the same to James. She was acctually starting to like him. But this was going horribly. They had to fix it.

But how ?

Cora giggled, This seemed to be the way to fix it. "Maybe i'll have to bring him to meet you one of the days when he stays over." She'd have to give him a stern talk not to embarress her first. "No, not yet."

James was helpless. All his attempts at restarting the conversation had failed. It was now do or die. Either Cora was going to try and make it happen or she'd just let them fail.

It seemed the blonde wanted to make it work. Kudos to her!

He grinned. She had a cute giggle. "Definetely. I think we'd get along really well." James would teach him that girls were much more fulfilling than batman.. or whatever he was interested in. "Ah. He stays with you a lot?" He hardly ever saw Callie.
