This was the night of the eclipse. The rare time that all light would be blocked out and only dark remained. Ironically this was also the night of the final battle between the Light and the Dark. Vampires, werewolves, wizards and witches lay over the battle field, in front of Hogwarts. Casualties were high on both sides and only one side was declared the winner.

The Cullen’s, a vampire family, surrounded a lifeless body, crying in despair over one body. The werewolves were howling at the loss of the moon and crying with grief as their leader and one other lay in front of them, never to phase into a human or wolf again. Witches and wizards looked after their own dead, uncovering faces under Deatheater masks, and discovering a betrayal by one they thought was their own.

Which side had prevailed? Who in the Cullen family died? Which members of the La Push pack died too? Who was the one that betrayed them all and had revealed the secrets to the Dark Lord?

Currently, the trio are in their last year of Hogwarts. They’re determined to finish off Voldemort once and for all but they know they need help especially in the numbers department. And Remus Lupin had just the solution for them. A pack of werewolves from someplace in Washington called La Push. They had also forced a small family of vampires to come and join them, even though they were known to be rivals.

The family of vampires consisted of Edward, Bella, Alice and Emmett Cullen, Rosalie and Jasper Hale, and their adoptive parents Carlisle and Esme. No one knew them for what they were. The students just figured that they were a bunch of quiet, pale gorgeous student transfers into the 7th year and some new teachers. Carlisle was to help Madame Pomfrey in the Hospital Wing and Esme was to be the substitute Care of Magical Creatures Professor. They didn’t seem suspicious at all.

The werewolves consist of Sam Uley, Jacob Black, Leah and Seth Clearwater, Quil and Embry and a few others. They were also another mysterious group of 7th years to the students of Hogwarts, who, if paid attention too closely, walked around with a black band around one of their ankles.

Vampires, especially Bella must control themselves around the mass of students and the fact that someone might accidently spot them hunting in the Forbidden Forest. The werewolves must watch their temper, in case they phase in class. And they must all learn to live together under close quarters and fight through the battle together. Can they do it? And will Jacob be able to stand Bella being a vampire?

*note: The trio and the professors will find out about the Cullens and the pack’s identity.

"It's your choice," he shrugged. "I'll go with you if you want me too." he added, his huge muscles tensing.

Turning around Alice looked around to where Jasper and Emmett were. "Hmm. I wonder," She spoke quietly to herself. "Could One of the students followed us?" She asked knowing fully where how much they were starred at.

This was the first battle that she would be able to help and not stand at the sidelines and cheer her family on. This was where she could use her newly acquired strength and speed and prove to Edward that she wasn't as fragile as she used to be.

She really doubted it was the enemy now that Alice had suggested that it was a student. Why would the enemy hide in the forest now? Was the smart thing to do was to reveal herself? Maybe they wouldn't hurt her after all...once they realized she was fighting for the Order. Hoping she hadn't underestimated their niceness from before, she casted the spells away and lifted the invisibility cloak away from her and stepped into the clearing of where they all sat.

"Hi." Hermione said nervously, wondering if they would let her speak before they attacked.

Alice looked a little shocked as she saw Hermione appear. So they could be invisble? Interesting. Looking at her siblings she gave them all a 'Told you so' look before speaking. "Erm Hey"

"Oh." Jasper's tone quietened down. "Surely it wouldn't have to come to that." He said. He remembered that. Not fun at all. But hopefully, there wasn't any vampires on the other side.

Jasper slouched slightly and leant on his knees. He saw the girl appear out of nowhere, as if by ... magic. Funny that. "Well, it's not the other girl rose." He chuckled.
"Umm .. Hi." He said awkwardly to the girl. "Why are you here exactly?" Jasper was a bit miffed that she had been eavesdropping.

Hermione nodded towards the pretty vampire that she had met earlier today. The Gryffindor was too nervous for proper introductions as she stared at the Slytherin boy that had asked her why she was here.

"I'm - I'm Hermione Granger." She said, wondering if she should just get onto the point or not. "I'm sorry for following you guys." She said quickly, wondering if they would believe her explaination. "I overheard you talking about defeating Voldemort and I was wondering why Remus recruited you guys to help us. Do you have anything against Voldemort?"

Rosalie stiffened as one of the Gryffindors she had seen earlier emerge from the trees. So she had been right earlier when she had heard a sound. There had been someone hiding in the trees. Listening to the girl talk, Rosalie rolled her eyes until she heard her question.

Looking around at her fellow Cullens, she shrugged. "Apparently he's been recruiting werewolves on his side, the wolves back at home wanted to help their fellow kind so we came along too." The gorgeous blonde replied to the brunette. "And what do you mean us? Who's us?"

Hermione's eye widened as Rosalie answered her. "So you really don't have any idea who Voldemort is?" She asked shocked. How could they fight against the Dark Lord and not know his capabilities and not be scared. What if one of these vampires got killed? Would they turn on us? She asked herself fearfully. Would they fight us too after because they believe that it was our fault?

"Us?" Hermione repeated. "Us, is The Order of the Phoenix. The people against the Dark Lord." She said, wondering how the hell they could be here and not know anything about anything.

Edward smiled crookedly at her as they began to go. They arrived at the little circle when the girl was talking. She must've just appeared there somehow. He glanced at Bella, his eyebrows raised. Sitting beside Alice, he pulled Bella in the seat beside him; so close she was almost in his lap. He listened to the girl's mind. "Maybe I should've told you guys about the Order of the Phoenix," he whispered. Of course he had listened to the wizards thinking about it; he just thought the other vampires would know about it, too.

"There you guys are!" Emmett grinned to Edward and Bella. He then turned to the bushy haired human, watching over her. "You should have, you idiot," he joked around with Edward.

Hermione nodded to Bella. "Yes, we are against Voldemort. And prepared?" She repeated, looking at the beautiful immortals in front of her. "Who is prepared for these things?" Hermione said, draping the invisiblity cloak around her arm, and loosening her grip on her wand. It seemed like they wouldn't hurt her for eavesdropping earlier.

Turning to the exquiste Rosalie, she gaped at her. "Battle. Tomorrow?" Hermione said, taking a few breaths in between her words. She knew it was soon but tomorrow?! I must find Harry and Ron! She thought to herself.

Edward nodded, squeezing Bella's hand. "Alice predicted it," he nodded. "Wait...did you notice you predicted it when the werewolves are going to be there?" he said, his back straightening. "What does that mean?"

Emmett looked at Hermione, smiling lightly at her, as if nothing was going to happen tomorrow. He glanced at Rosalie, wondering if it was okay to take her hand. She seemed pretty mad earlier. He shrugged, grabbing her hand.

Bella looked at Alice. "You saw the vision even with the werewolves around you?" She asked, confused. Something didn't seem right here. This couldn't be good, unless Alice was becoming immune to the effects the werewolves had on her? That couldn't be right.

At there questions Alice looked rather confused. She'd never been able to have visions around the wolves before. "Its strange. I had the vision about the battle but I could see where Emmett was when I tried too." She spoke quietly as she leant against Jasper. "It might just be that I have them when I'm not that close to the wolves"

"That sounds kind of like a good explination," he said to Alice. He looked at the group, and at Hermione. "You can tell them if you want," he told her, bringing Bella's hand to his lips and kissing it. He still loved doing that, even after...well, you know.

She asked and than continued when she recieved a quick shake of a head by Rosalie. "It's a group that's against everything Voldemort and his followers do. We're the "Light" side." Hermione said explaining, knowing she wasn't doing the Order justice. "We are trying to stop Voldemort's reign."

Looking at Jasper, she nodded her head. "He does know about it because Dumbledore created it. But he doesn't know the members or the size of it or what we are capable of."

Hermione jumped slightly in surprise. Had she asked that question outloud? No...she hadn't. Than how did he? "Can you do Occulumeny?!" She asked surprised. Hermione had assummed that none of them could really do magic, let alone that high leveled of it.

Hermione jumped slightly in surprise. Had she asked that question outloud? No...she hadn't. Than how did he? "Can you do Occulumeny?!" She asked surprised. Hermione had assummed that none of them could really do magic, let alone that high leveled of it.

Jasper listened to Hermione's explanantion.
"So, What were you capable of before we arrived?" He questioned her, he wanted to know a fair amount about this since they were fighting with them.

Jasper smiled at Alice. "It's like your powers are sort of evolving." He whispered. Wow. He wished his powers could do that.
Well, here was his chance to show them off. Hermione had started to be panicky with Edward's power. "What's Occulumency?" He aksed her, whilst calming her down slightly.

"We have quite a few members on our side that is quite capable of duelling." Hermione said, knowing there wasn't much else information she could offer. "But other than our duelers, one and a half giant, there's really nothing much." She said, looking at their pale beautiful faces. Hermione gaped at him. "Do you all have powers like that?" She asked intruiged. She had studied vampires but that was from muggle books with their weird myths about them. This was real. They were sitting right in front of her, possibly working with her to defeat the evil that was creeping into the world.

Rosalie shook her head at Hermione's question. "No. Not all of us is like that." She said, looking at Jasper and Alice, who also had other talents in their family. "So basically I think we should talk about strategy and get to bed. Rest up for tomorrow." She said ironically, knowing exactly none of them except Hermione could sleep.

Emmett grinned. "Yeah, rest," he laughed. He squeezed Rose's hand, smiling lightly at her, as if nothing was going to happen tomorrow. He was terribly worried on the inside. What if someone died? He shook the idea from his brain.

Edward glanced at Emmett, and then to Rosalie. "Rose is right. We need to come up with something. Jasper, have any ideas?" he asked. Jasper knew a lot about battles. Hopefully he could help with this idea.

Jasper chuckled. "I hope so. Calm people down so much they fall asleep." He said. Jasper envied Edward and Alice very much. Their powers were much more effective than his. His seemed a little bit soppy.
Jasper nodded his head. "Cool. Although would it work on us?" He questioned, Edward's power worked on them.

"Ok, are the all students?" He asked her, trying to picture the Order. "Half giant?" Jasper's eyes widened. "Hmm .. I guess that could be an advantage." He wondered.
Jasper smiled at Hermione when she spoke about the debt, that reall wasn't neccessary. "What about the 'Dark' side. What do they have?" He asked her also. Wow. Jasper was full of questions today.

Feeling her hand being squeezed, she squeezed back tightly. She knew what was running through her lovers mind. It was running through her's too. Looking at him, she moved closer towards him, leaning her head on his broad shoulder. Rosalie needed to push all negative thoughts away by tomorrow, or she would be useless during the battle.

Emmett sighed, patting Rosalie's back and kissing her head. He twirled a blonde lock around his finger, listening in on the conversation. He didn't have much to add.

"Yeah," Edward said, nodding at Jasper's answer. He sighed, wondering if the students would even believe her. He hugged Bella close, kissing her forehead.

Hermione nodded. It seemed like she had just gained the ok to tell people. "I'll see you all tomorrow. Have a good night." She said quickly, wanting to get out of the clearing as fast she could. It wasn't that she didn't like the vampires but she wanted to spread the news to Harry and Ron as fast as possible.

Walking out of the Forbidden Forest and past Hagrid's hut, she broke into a run, breathing hard. She couldn't believe this at all. So little time to prepare. Reaching the entrance way of Hogwarts, she ran into the Entrance Hall and up the Marble Staircase.

Jumping over the trick step, she stopped running when she reached the Gryffindor common room. "Those two better be in there." She said, as she bent over to catch her breath before uttering the password.

Rosalie smiled to herself as Emmett showed his affection for her. She could never ever get too mad at Emmett. Watching Hermione leave, she looked at them. "So, what's the best way to do this?" She asked, referring to the battle. "How do we know who's going to be on our side or their side?" She said, wondering if they would make a mistake.

Bella smiled and leaned closer to Edward. Things were going to be intense tomorrow but she wasn't too worried. This time she would be able to help Edward and she knew he would be able to fend for himself. Bella was worried about the rest of the family though. She had missed them in battle before and had no idea how good they fought.
