Cassie chuckled and nodded."Same with Brynn and in the short span of time that she was here I managed to get her in trouble." She smiled fondly of the memory of them dragging Jaylon's stupified body up the corridor and being busted by hadley. Good times. She would miss them.
Cassie nodded and looked up as her food was being handed to her. Mmmm it really looked good and the lemonade looked really cool too. She nodded."I tend to have good ideas from time to time," she said winking at Dani.
She nodded once again, mainly because she had bitten off a piece of her hot dog and didn't want to talk with food in her mouth but once that was swallowed and washed down with a sip of lemonade, she permitted herself to reply."yeah I'm actually meeting up with her in a little bit." Crap which meant she was probably running late now."Holey Merlin's pants, I'm running late. I'll definitely be seeing you around Dani, take care." She said clicking off in her heels. Heck ya, how many girls could jet like that in 4 inchers.
Dani smiled as she took her carton of fish and chips, paid and then nodded at Cassie- "Okay then, I guess I'll se you around" she said softly, waving at Cassie as she walked away before picking up a little wooden fork and moving to start on her amazing food. "See ya!" she called after Cassie before turning in the opposite direction and walking back up towards the rides.
Alyssa was used to people asking her why she was a 2nd year at Hogwarts this year and not a first year, so she didn't mind explaining it to Nessie too. "Well my Dad works for the MoM in the International Cooperation Department and he was transferred to another country to work there for awhile. I started my first year in a regular Muggle school, but when dad got transferred back here, I received my Hogwarts letter of acceptance and that's why I'm here now starting 2nd year. I'm sort of worried that I will have problems catching up with the studies here and meeting new people altogether," she confided to Nessie. "I may need a Rememberall to help me, especially if I start getting behind on my studies. One thing is for sure everything is going to be very new for me. I'm glad I met you. You seem to know your way around here."
Nessie smiled, her background was in a way similar, but not the same. "My dad also works at the Ministry and he got transferred to South Africa, which is where I live but while I'm at Hogwarts he works here" she said to Alyssa.
Ness went to a muggle school herself, but only up till she was eleven. She could have gone to a magic school in Africa, but her dad insited she went to Hogwarts. She was glad she he did, Hogwarts was the best place ever. It was her home away from home.
"Don't Worry." Really, Alyssa didn't need to worry. Hogwarts wasn't too much trouble and Alyssa could definitely count on her for help. She knew the place fairly well and she also knew quite a lot of people. She just hoped Alyssa would get into Hufflepuff just like her. "Yeah I do." she giggled. "And you can count on me to help you." she smiled at Alyssa.

"Oh that's so sweet of you. I do hope that we get sorted into the same house. But if not we still can be friends right?", Alyssa asked worriedly. "because I know that I'm going to need all the help I can get, at least for the first few weeks while I settle in. I don't even know we get to Hogwarts. I heard that there's a train that takes us there....the Hogwarts Express?...and I heard that we have to go to Platform 9 3/4 and we went to check it out but we couldn't find such a platform. Oh dear. I'm sorry to sound like a worry wart but I'm afraid that I might miss the train."
Alyssa's eyes began to tear up but then she took a deep breath and broke into a quivering smile said, "I'm sorry. I know that everything will work out. I'm glad that I met you today".

Nessie listened as Alyssa continued talking. Alyssa was deffinitely going to have a panick attack, if she wouldn't stop worrying. "Yeah me too and yeah we can." she nodded he head. This girl needed to calm down, she was getting too worried over nothing. Ness giggled a little, Alyssa didn't know about the platform yet. Somone needed to tell her, before she wouldn't have been able to get to the train. "Theres a wall between platforms nine and ten, you need run into it and you'll get into platform nine and three quaters." She explained, so Alyssa would stop worrying.
Alyssa's eyes were getting watery. This wasn't good. Not sure what to do, she put a hand on Alyssa's back trying to comfort her. "Im glad too!" she returned the smile hoping Alyssa would just chill.
Witsy smiled, "Luck or unfortunate... you're chocolate frogs are almost gone," she waited a second teasingly, "I'm kidding. Oddly enough, I'm not in the mood for chocolate frogs tonight. I don't even know if I'm gonna start my apple. I'll save it for later."
" Just like a female, changing their mind" Willaim teased Witsy. Wiliam braced for the punch on his shoulder." I will finish my chocolate frogs now" William said to Witsy. " I will buy choclote frongs , so yo ucan have yoru candy apple and choclate frogs together to eat later" William explained to Witsy.

Alyssa realized that she was behaving like a 5 year old and decided to "grow up". "I'm really grateful for all your help and for being so friendly. I really apologize for my behavior. I'm not sure what got over me. I'm never usually like this. I guess it's just the new environment. Thanks for explaining about the platform and how to get on to the Hogwarts Express,"she said.
She quickly gulped down her pizza because she guessed that after her stupid behavior, Nessie was most probably looking for a way to get away from her. "Sigh! Why do I always do this to myself? I do want to make friends but I act stupid and I end up chasing them away". She made a promise to herself that she was not going to behave like that again....even if the sky dropped.

She hooked her little finger through the belt loop of his pants and leaned against his shoulder.
"She's active today." Plimpy. Cela's expression was dreamy, contented.
And why wouldn't she be? She had her Copey after all.
"We should have eaten at home. I don't have confidence in a single thing on this menu," Copernicus sighed over the food selection, but he put his hand over Cela's and pulled her into the line to order.
While they waited for the food, he pulled her in to rest against him. Outings were getting to be pretty exhausting endeavors, but it wasn't like one told Celandine she couldn't leave the house. "She must like all the noise and activity. Takes after you."

"We'll get fish and chips." She suggested in a comforting sort of tone. It'd be alright. Pat pat.
Despite her energy and enjoyment of getting out there, Cela was getting tired too. It was happening more and more often lately and almost felt like a betrayal, her body going against her. So she snugged happily against her husband and pat pat patted both him and her still small belly at the same time.
"Maybe she's hungry too."

"She's your Plimpy. I bet she'll always be hungry, and for things that don't exist in nature and must take some culinary mastery to create," Copernicus responded absently. He was distracted by the crowd around them, and by the sudden realization that it wasn't particularly safe out here in the open.
As was evidenced by the man trying to run Cela over earlier. "Did any of those rides appeal to you?"

Problem solved! Never mind that Tori had no idea how to remove stains with or without magic. She'd always had servants to tend to her clothing.
"How shall I ever repay you?" she sing-sang, fluttering her eyelashes. "My exploding lemonade-catching herrrrrro." Awww. Paulie was adorbs, drool and all.
She giggled again. "Princess. Tori." The thirteen year old leaned in and tapped him on the nose. "And don't forget the princess part, or you'll never know what might explode next."
Like his CORNDOG. Eww that would make a gross explosion.
ulwgliaeuhrgleir!!
Of course this would happen to him.
"Yeah, yeah - get your laughs in now, Princess." The boy smirked in spite of himself. All this craziness before Hogwarts had even begun! As she explained her reasoning, the prospect of taking off his soaked tee shirt seemed more and more attractive. "Mmyeah, I guess you're right." Paulie pushed his lips to the side as he looked down at his shirt, then without further ado, he quickly peeled the thing off his chest and over his head. Aah! Sweet relief. Though the stickiness was still ever present.. <__<
Paulie blinked and looked to Tori, then to all the random passers-by, then back to the dripping piece of clothing in his hand. "So, the water will take out the lemonade, right? Out of the shirt..?" 'Cause the pale yellow of his white tee now really just made it look totally pee-stained. With one hand, he held the shirt in front of him, and with the other, he pulled out his wand for a bit of magical aid. "Uhh, okay.. Aguamenti!"
The water spewed from his wand, and he wrung out his shirt some more. Hah! This was the first time Paulie was ever called a 'hero.' Such a heroic deed, it was. "Repay me?" Hmmm, of course Paulie hadn't thought that anything needed to be repaid, BUT then again.. she did just explode her lemonade on him, so he could go for repayment, right? Yes. He grinned when her eyelashes batted like butterfly wings. Did girls honestly do that? Well... SHE did. "Huh. How about...." He took a few seconds to mull it over. "..Gimme a sec..."
"Aha! Tori." She proceeded to tap him on the nose like she was his fairy-godmother and reminded him to never omit her lovely 'Princess' title. "Oh, right, of course! Couldn't forget the royal title." The side of his mouth hitched in a smile and he snorted slightly.

Ahaha victory! Tori had succeeded in sweet talking this boy out of his shirt AND he had called her Princess. Brilliant. She smirked as she took a second to drink in his cuteness. Cutey. Paulie was a shirtless cutey, and a lemonade hero to boot.
She waited patiently as he cleaned up his shirt and thought about a way to repay him. Hopefully he wasn't going to make her buy him candy or more exploding food or anything.
"Of course. Royal titles first." She nodded and then prompted, "and your payment, my good sir?" He was like a KNIGHT to her PRINCESSness!

People in love did not try to kill their spouse! How damaged was Ryoma that his only reality was one where his mother died because of his father's negligence.
She tried to reach out to him again with her words, "Ryoma your father loved your mother or he would not have married her. No one who loves their partner purposefully tries to kill them. Think about it! And Ryoma haven't you ever thought that if you feel this way your father must feel a hundred times as worse. You two should be helping one another move forward!"
Then all compassion for Ryoma flew out the window when he made a comment about Prince Charming, "Excuse me for actual believing in something! All you do is plaster that stupid smile on your face all day long and pretend that you actually care about girl to girl to girl; it's revolting. And you know what? I don't care WHAT you say. Prince Charming exists, wanna know why? Because, you-you... pig, love exists!"
At this point she was so rilled up that her blonde hair was strewn all about her face and her eyes burned with rage. How dare he!
"Help each other? HELP EACH OTHER?"
Okay, he was starting to regret hiring this one. Maybe he should have gone with the old wrinkly woman who always insisted on spoon feeding him chicken soup in the evening. At least THAT grandmother wouldn't be ruining the flavor of his cotton candy like Harley was now.
"You know how my old man thinks he is helping me? By pushing me into relationships and wanting me to get married," he snapped back. "So what, get over one love by finding a new love? That certainly doesn't make love seem like it is such a fantastic thing if it is that replaceable."
Ryoma shrugged his shoulders. "I do have a reputation you know. The ladies know what they are getting into," and if not, well, their own fault really. "And Prince Charming, yeah, well, as far as I can tell there is no such thing as the perfect man or the perfect ONE who fits into our lives perfectly. People are just as flawed and dysfunctional. If you’re not happy with your life, don’t mutter to yourself, 'Everything will be better if I could just find HIM…'"
He turned and looked at her.
"Someone like you doesn't need some peacock to complete her."
Wait, had he just said that? He was supposed to be fuming at her.
A smug look appeared on his face. Was she implying that he was Prince Charming? Oh, nope, she had just called him a pig. Well, he had been called much worse and if he was a pig, then he was a sexy pig.

Harley could feel the wisps of blonde hair tickling her eyelashes as she grew more and more agitated. In an attempt to calm herself and gather her thoughts she brushed the hair out of her face in a tither. It was one thing to disagree with what Harley thought about his father, in all fairness she did not know him very well, but she did not appreciate him snapping at her, "You know what? Fine! You want to have a bitter and bad relationship with your father go ahead and do that. Whittle away all of the time you have with him. It's not like a friend is trying to help you or anything," she blinked and paused. Friend? She stuttered, "I mean, um, well YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN! Ugh!"
However, her frustration only increased when he made a flippant comment about his reputation, "First of all, that is wrong. Not all girls know about your reputation. Second of all, I do not pine away for some guy to sweep me off of my feet. I just know that love exists. Is that so wrong?"
Someone like her? Blink. Blink. What did he mean by that? He could not be serious. But by the smug look on his face she could tell that he was serious.
She swallowed and said, "You mean that?" Why did she care was the better question.

"I will then," he said smugly. "I am glad we are finally in agreement on something."
Now they could put the conversation about the realtionship, or lack there of, between he and his father aside. Just in time for him to get another cotton candy. He fancied a blue one this time.
His eyebrows wiggled just a bit. Friends? He did rather like the sound of that. But it wasn't entirely the direction he had hoped she would go in. He could work with this though. That he could.
"Well, you can hardly blame me for their innocence," he said batting his long eyelashes. "Really, I am doing them a favor. Showing them just how harsh the world is." See, he was a nice guy after all. Better learn in a safe environment like Diagon Alley instead of the muggle world, right? "Really? The way you talk makes it sound like the complete opposite."
Oh, um, she had heard that. Well, no real way to get out of this slightly awkward situation.
"Yes, someone like you," he confirmed nodding his head. "I have five older sisters and the one who I admire the most she..." Ug, was Harley really making him say this outloud. "She has some qualities that you have too, namely speaking her mind." He rubbed the back of his head. Where was his bloody cotton candy so he could hide his face in it.

He was hopeless. Fine, if he did not want to talk about his father and not resolve any issues they wouldn't. She was not his therapist. Although she did think that he was being a coward because he would not face his father that was not her place to say. It did not mean that she did not desperately want to, because she did, but she would not. One day though Ryoma would regret having Harley to talk to about his father.
She crossed her arms over her chest and huffed, "Fine. I'll just drop it, okay?"
Her eyebrows perched to one side when he wiggled his eyebrows at her and continued to talk about the innocence of his prey, "Yeah okay you're helping them. If that's not the biggest pile of unicorn dung I've ever heard. Let's be honest for a minute, you're just a pig. Admit it."
All of their awkward humor, however, was sucked out of the conversation when Ryoma started to talk about his sister and the fact that she reminded him of her. What shocked her most was that everything he was saying about his sister was positive.
"...you like the fact that I speak my mind?" In a weird way it was kind of sweet. So without thinking about it she stood up on her toes and gave him a slight kiss on the cheek. When her heels returned to the ground she said, "That was sweet of you... something you said was actually sweet and not gag worthy."
Did you just lose something? The GAME? Sorry... 'Justin Bieber, he is the man!' U mad, Felton!?

His repayment. Paulie tapped his chin with his index finger and brainstormed a moment longer before finally making a decision. "'Kay, you've got to, uhh..." He still wasn't sure. Oh, he was so bad at quick decisions sometimes. "You've gotta.."
He was buying time, but it was all to no avail. A puff of breath noisily escaped his lips. "I can't think of anything." Paulie reached his hand up to his head and ran it back and forth over his hair to get rid of the dripping, meanwhile spraying a few drop of lemonade her way. "How 'bout you just keep that little drooling story to yourself, though, yeah?" Heh..

Elinor had not been to a carnival since she was fourteen. Were she the not-for-crowds type, then she would be feeling terribly uncomfortable. But she didn't mind -- Most of them were schoolchildren, and, so long as they behaved, Elinor didn't mind children.
After changing out of her professional attire, Elinor now wore a striped tee shirt and a skirt she rarely had good cause to wear. Since running might possibly end up being involved, she was thankful she had her change of shoes in her bag. Of course, she had taken small precautions. She wore some bangles and a hat to keep off the sun, as well as adding faint blone highlights to her brown-reddish hair. Her fellow employees, as she told them, could recognise her by her outfit and, more specifically, the distinct necklace she wore. Her years as a private-eye meant she knew how to subtly distract the eye so as to keep inconspicuous.
Anyone who knew Elinor well would be able to recognise her after a moment, but anyone on the lookout for Ministry wouldn't. She also had picked up her second wand, registered to her alias, which was sitting in her hip holster, enchanted so as to not be detectable. As much as Elinor swore to never use her alias again, seeing no need now, she kept the wand. Nothing wrong with that, or so she tried to convince herself.
But it did seem to have a purpose today; After volunteering to monitor the carnival, she figured that, worse-case scenario, the Cult would be on the lookout for them, and her WAND wand would be at risk. Hence the subtle disguise. Which, actually, made her look like she did when she was twenty-five. As any woman would, Elinor had spent a few moments in front of the mirror going "I. Am. HOT.", in so many words. She'd decided to go shopping at some point in the next week. No more pants until winter. Skirts and dresses. Yes, ma'am.
BUT THIS WAS NO TIME FOR THAT. Elinor had been stationed by the food and refreshments to be on the lookout. If only to blend in, Elinor purchased an ice cream cone, only adding to the feeling of nostalgia. Standing out-of the way, she kept an eye out, as though looking for someone she had come here with.

Normally Nigel would be tempted to stay in the shop during his off time for meals and such but after a particularly stressful day he simply needed to close up and leave the premises. A closed for an hour sign now turned upon the door as he locked the door and walked away. Debating where to go since he wasn't interested in heading home, he had walked down Diagon Alley only to find places closed for the carnival.
Lucky them.
To actually be able to close and not be seen as an inconvience to the students or regular customer. He would only have to deal with more then the usual troublesome shoppers on another day if he were to close for days at a time. But enough about that, with options closed to him, he found himself trailing towards the carnival itself. It wasn't a normal attraction for the man especially since the crowds were reminiscant of the reasons he prefered to stick to himself, but something still drew him there.
As his stomach reminded him what time of day it was after a period of random wandering through the stalls, Nigel headed to the refreshment stands to see if there was anything halfway decent there. He was dressed in plan dark slacks and a blue casual shirt that he had worn under his robes left behind at the shop since it was a warm day.

Finishing the last bites of the cone, Elinor sighed to herself. Too much time on one place, someone was bound to spot her and get suspicious, yadda, yadda, yadda. After snagging a napkin from a nearby stall and cleaning off her hands and wiping her mouth, she spotted him. Her mouth dropped into a loose O at her surprise. Best. Assignment. EVER.
He hadn't seen her yet, which was all cool. Smiling, she came up to him without hesitation. He was officially NOT AT WORK, therefore he was subject to social meetings. "Hello, handsome," she half-giggled in greeting. Of course, Nigel was one of those "Why would you say that" kind of people. And Elinor was one of those "Because it's true" kind of people. So there.
"I'm thoroughly surprised to see you here," she nodded, placing her hands on her hips in relaxed surprise. She thought, in the very back of her mind, for the briefest of moments, that he was here because she was. Was some outside force pushing them together? WERE THE WRITERS OF FATE TRYING TO TELL THEM SOMETHING?!

Aww he had the brain of a puppy dawg too! Tori giggled again as she waited for Paulie's answer and when he couldn't think of one, she grinned evilly. Oh she had ideas for repayment, yes she did.
Blinking the lemonade drops out of her eyelashes, Tori closed the distance between them in one step. "I can do that... and...." she tilted her head up toward his and stretched up on her tippy toes. "I can do one better."
And she gave him a soft kiss on the lips. "Thank you, Sir Lemonade Knight." Heehee.

Only after he had dried his hair did Paulie realize that he should have taken her proximity into consideration. She blinked and it kind of looked like dewdrops caught on her eyelashes.
But thoughts of dewdrops quickly faded when she stepped closer to him. And then a little closer. I can do one better. Goosepimples traveled up his neck as he anticipated what was coming next.
And her lips met his in a kiss. It was short but not rushed, and when they separated, he could taste a little bit of her lip gloss still. "Thank you, Princess" he said, glancing down at the ground and smiling slightly before looking to her. "..Your lips are really soft."

Tori positively beamed as she successfully executed her thank you. "You're welcome, my Lemonade Knight." Heheh. "Tis the power of lip gloss."
STRAWBERRY lip gloss. She twirled a lock of hair around her finger and searched for a change of subject. Hmm.
"Sooo, Paulie, you got a girlfriend?" That would mind her kissing him? HEH.

See, was That so hard for her to just give up and accept that he had won this argument? Well, if she was anything like Sakura, then yes, it was very hard. Sakura was never wrong. NEVER. Not even when it came to what clothing to dress him up in as a little boy. The amount of pictures that could be used to blackmail his manhood was too much to think about.
Hopefully Harley would never get her hands on those. The consequences would be disastrous.
"Unicorn dung is known for having fantastic properties in gardening," he added with a wink. See, he was helpful. HAHA!
"I didn't say that," he said shaking his head. Had he? Even if he had, he was going to deny that it had ever happened. "It's just nice, you know, seeing a woman who knows how to stand on her own two feet."
Or something like that. Those were the type of women he had grown up with. His sisters had practically raised him since his old man had left him and his sisters after their mother's passing.
