Only after he had dried his hair did Paulie realize that he should have taken her proximity into consideration. She blinked and it kind of looked like dewdrops caught on her eyelashes.

But thoughts of dewdrops quickly faded when she stepped closer to him. And then a little closer. I can do one better. Goosepimples traveled up his neck as he anticipated what was coming next.

And her lips met his in a kiss. It was short but not rushed, and when they separated, he could taste a little bit of her lip gloss still. "Thank you, Princess" he said, glancing down at the ground and smiling slightly before looking to her. "..Your lips are really soft."
