Puck listened to what Toby, Lux, and now Angel and Ben had said and nodded along. “That makes sense but I don’t think it’s the name that changes the person at all really” she said with a shrug. “Maybe the person changes and adapts to the family around them, to their job, and to their experiences and their name might promote how they are treated and change how some of their experiences would be?” She offered with a shrug.

“Like if Hermione married Krum instead her expression number would be different and she would be treated differently had she married him and not married Weasley.” She offered with a shrug. “After all the Weasleys were treated rather badly and therefore after being treated badly for not only being muggleborn during the time of rampant wizard supremacists marrying into a family tagged as being ‘Muggle Supporters’ would only put more heat on the family…” she shrugged, “but that also might not have happened because this all happened after the great war.

Right...class was dismissed, "thanks you guys have an awesome time?" she grinned and turned to Professor Turner. "Have a great day Professor," she grinned and left.

Beverly nodded along as Janelle spoke. For a first year she held herself well. The Prefect still freshly remembered those days when talking to someone besides Cutty threw her off the edge and sent her anxiety working overload. Gradually those days were left behind, and even if she did feel that feeling some times sink back in, she did her best to put on a facade and pretend to be tough and cool.

It worked 99% of the time.

"Perfectly said once more," she said as Janelle finished. "Now, our house have Ginny as a Potter, what do you--"

Just like that time was up and Beverly found herself wanting to discuss this number thing more. Odd. Very odd considering her dislike for the subject.

"Time's up." She closed her text and grinned at the girls. She was getting better at this pleasant-look-thing-attitude. Somewhat. "It was nice working with you guys."

With that, she closed her text book and nodded at Domino and Janelle. There was patrol duty she had to go and cover. Tucking her belongings away, she nodded politely at Professor Tanner. "Thanks for the lesson." Yep. She enjoyed it.

.............Right. Duties were calling her name!

Oh good, so he was in concurrence over pretty much everything she had said and even pointed out a few interesting tidbits of his own. Tia had jotted down a few of Caleb's notes, and was about to comment some more when the Professor spoke again and dismissed the class. Well alright then.

Closing her notebook, she nodded respectfully at the prefect. "Well that's that then. And you know, you're not so bad when you're not being all loud-mouthed and big-headed." You know, like when he was simply just discussing as it were. Really, that was a compliment. "Thanks."

Standing up after packing her notes away, she passed Tanner's desk on her way out. "Thanks for the lesson, Professor Tanner."

The class was over?!

Alright well then that was that and as Professor Tanner said they would continue with the work and summarizing for their homework. But investigating and learning was done for the time and Ben took leave of his group. "Guess we're done," he mused getting back up. Though Angel was free to be around him as he returned to his previous desk to collect his things to pack up and leave.

Adi was there already, the Hufflepuff back from working with his own group. "Well that was interesting," he said absently as he lifted his bag to his shoulder. "Ready?"

Oh? They were done?! Merlin that went by... Actually no, it still went by pretty slowly. But you know what!? Good news is that class was over and now they just had to finish up interpretations for homework, which he could probably do. With some help or something. Maybe he could ask Sophie a few questions about it if it came down to that matter. BUT ANYWAYS, this Gryffindor was ready to go!

Quickly packing up his things, he smiled at his group and gave them a last, "Bye, guys! It was fun working together," and then stood up and waved goodbye to Professor Tanner too before running out.

TO THE KITCHENSS!!! Haazaaah! Food awaits. HEhee. Why was he always hungry? Probably a growing boy thing. Yeah. One of those.

Well, now why don't you just look at that? Kate had survived her first Arithmancy class, the class she thought would be her worst one. It still might, but she was at least willing to give it the benefit of the doubt now. Kate gathered her parchment and quill and put both back into her book bag. Tossing her bag across her back, Kate looked up at the professor. "Thanks for a great lesson, Professor," she said. "When I first got to Hogwarts, I thought Arithmancy would be my worst subject, but your class is turning out to be lots more rewarding than I was giving it credit for. Thanks again!"

Book bag already on her shoulder, Kate waved bye to Hady and Brooklyn. "Bye, Hady and Brooklyn," she said, returning Hady's greeting. "It was cool working with you." The thing about Hogwarts, Kate was discovering, was that it was super easy to make friends. With one last look to make sure she's got everything that belonged to her, Kate headed out the door behind her friend.

She had made a good point? Brooklyn had still been distracted by that surprise, even as the discussion had sort of continued. Not to mention the professor first telling them to finish things up and then de-group. Whatever that meant. As far as she was concerned, she could stay in this desk just as easily as she could her first one, except she’d blinked as suddenly they were being told the lesson was over. She’d survived Arithmancy. Survived, but still didn’t really see the point to it. She didn’t know if she wanted to deal with summarizing for homework either. She wasn’t going to understand the subject more down in her dorm, when she didn’t in the classroom.

She’d gotten up to collect her stuff as they’d all been dismissed, anyway, looking up as she heard both Hady and Kate say bye to her. “Yep,” she said, giving the little blonde a rare smile. She’d see Hady later, after all, so there wasn’t really a reason to say bye to her and besides, she’d already basically left. “Bye Kate. Goodbye Professor Tanner,” she said instead, her bag already over her shoulder and ready to head off somewhere else. She hadn’t decided where yet, but probably somewhere warmer than the classroom.

As Kace was about to voice his last thoughts he heard the professor end the lesson. Huh...the time went by that quick. Bloody merlin it did when he looked at his watch. He packed up his textbook and put it into his backpack. "Bye guys it was nice working together maybe we can do it again sometime?" I mean they were called the dream team after all.

After he got his backpack over his shoulder and then got up from his seat and walked his way back to the common room. He turned his head and said, "Good lesson Professor. I might come back next lesson, I didn't think Arthimancy could be this fun." he smiled. After he said his thoughts, he walked back to the puff common room to take a nap.

She nodded and took everything in. The brother/sister relationship fit Harry and Hermione perfectly. AJ was still more focused on the love, love part.

Despite herself, AJ smiled. She had done a good job for somebody that was falling apart inside. ”Thanks.” was all she could get her mouth to say. Was this over now? For the first time ever AJ felt a little awkward around Adi, and she wasn’t sure what to say or do.



Saved by the bell… or rather the professor saying that it was time to go. It couldn’t have come at a better moment too because Adi being this near to her was not doing any favors to her heart.

But wait…

She missed him too, she really did. Was she ready to tell him that? No. They still needed to talk about the issue because it was a pretty big issue to have in a relationship. Her brain was in overdrive, and she was trying to think of what to say or if she should say anything at all. Adi solved that for her too by getting up and walking back to his desk. Okay, then. Um, she should just go now.
Quickly she gathered her junk up, and gave the professor a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. ”Bye, professor. Thanks for the lesson. And she was out the door. This lion wasn’t waiting on anybody.

Norah BEAMED at all her group mates and gave each of 'em a high five before getting up from her chair. As far as Arithmancy went, that was a pretty fun class. Maybe fun wasn't really the word when it came to maths, but it was a bunch funner than beingallembarassedandnotknowinghowtodoanything which was usually the case in such situations.

Once her sparkly ink was accounted for, and notes and all that but those were far less important, Norah stopped to smile at Professor Tanner and say, "Thanks for the lesson, Professor" all politely and MATURELY before walking NOT SKIPPING out the door. She deserved cookies for all the good work done, yeah? Yeah.

She smiled as the Hufflepuff walked out. "Thank you, Mr. Rehman. Have a good day!"

The smile lingered on her face still as she addressed Zeke. "You're welcome, fine sir. Enjoy the rest of your day full of learning!"

"Thank you, Miss Lynch. Have a good day!" she replied to the Slytherin.

Tiara nodded at the Gryffindor Prefect. "And yourself, Miss Greyvson."

"You're welcome, my dear. Thanks in return for the involvement." She had taken a liking to the girl, fortunately.

Ah, one of her own Ravenclaws. The first one to bid her goodbye, actually. "You are welcome, my dear. Enjoy the rest of your day."

Tiara chuckled. Not many students would wave to a professor. She returned the gesture with a smile.

Well, if that one comment wasn't just the cherry on top of the ice cream! "Thank you, dear. That was very nice of you to say." She would certainly be sharing that gem with Jason at dinner tonight.

But back to reality. "Goodbye, Miss Andrews. Have a nice afternoon."

Tiara was genuinely confused by the Hufflepuff's comment. What did he mean 'he might come back' again? Was he planning on withdrawing from the subject? She may have to speak with Botros about this.

"Goodbye, dear. Enjoy the rest of your day!" And maybe take a good nap on your free period.

And then there was one student left. "Out you get, Miss Kittredge. We wouldn't want you being late for your next lesson." Tiara smiled, letting the girl know she certainly was not in trouble. "And you're welcome."
