As you walk into the charms classroom, you will see the room as it normally is. Straight rows of desks and chairs, all facing the front of the room where there is the chalkboard and the professor’s desk to the left of it. Your Charms professor, Professor Fuller, is leaning against his desk with his arms crossed over his chest, waiting for you to enter and take a seat.
Do be seated quickly, class is about to start! Class has now begun!

Ruby did NOT need to get sassy at the moment. Gabe just wanted to make sure she understood...And he'd seen that eyeroll coming, thank you. Even if she had stop herself from doing so.
Working with her like this helped him to forget others were even in the same room...So, Gabe was able to focus and set his shoulders. Eyes intent on the phote, he did a neat and tidy little tap! as the professor had.

"Don't get aggravated at it so quickly." First off. She was getting annoyed and it was plain on her face. And yes, Gabriel knew he was a hilarious person to be telling anyone to calm down. "I think..." He side!glanced her. "....it helps to visualize the photo already moving. That's what I'm doing..."
It was okay. Ruby could try again. No one was looking at them...
Concentrating on his second photo (and visualizing that it was moving and Ruby was doing full-on Ruby!face...and blowing him kisses, or whatever), Gabe lifted his wand and tapped! again.
"Alacer."

Now that he had enough pictures- four sets to be exact- Adi decided it was time to get started on animating them. Setting the picture of AJ and Angel in front of him on the desk, he wasted no more time. "Alacer!'' A tap on the picture was made just as he had seen Professor Fuller do. The Puffer waited for signs of movement.
Nothing.
"Alacer!'' he said again, making another tap. The picture remained stubbornly still. "Alacer! Alacer! Alacer!'' Tap! Tap! Tap! The Valentine girls were still frozen. All that was left to do was try again. Yep.

Ten minutes Adi had NO luck in making the picture move. He was staring sulkily at the other pictures now, trying to keep frustration at bay. But he didn't want to delay any longer though. He needed to make at least two of his pictures move before class ended.
"ALACER!'' Tap! Oh hey! Movement! The girls were grinning and by the looks of stuff, Angel was trying to fix her hair at the last minute. Hehe.

Oh he was weeeeelcome. Ruby hadn't been able to get her first picture going again, she tried but it was just stuck. But she DID have a third picture the one she'd taken of that girl that Gabey had been making eyes at. Ruby went casually back to her own desk and worked on the spell again. Tap. "Alacer." quietly, so Gabe wouldn't hear. She knew he was trying to pretend like he had nothing to do with her so he wouldn't notice.
The picture started moving and she eyed it, waiting to see if it was going to stop but it seemed to work. She casually reached over and slipped it into Gabe's pocket.

It seemed Adi really did want a photo with him, the Hufflepuff moving to stand beside him and pose while AJ took it. Benny himself worked to keep his camera and two photos out of the shot as he stood casually beside his friend. Inwardly hoping he still wasn't all red from Angel's previous exclaimation. "Unicorns..." he said smiling softly amused before he caught himself.
Another click let them know his and Adi's picture was done, the image looking good according to AJ. However when he looked around for Angel to do their picture, he noticed she was gone. She had walked off back to her seat. "Excuse me..." he said, taking his leave of the other couple, he followed after Angel, noticing her practicing the charm and getting an idea.
"Its Ah-lay sur," he said as he came up beside her as if helping her out, knealing down a little. His camera was out and faced towards both of them as he stretched his arm out in front of him. Ben had never done a self portrait before so he hoped this worked. "Say lion..." he whispered before taking the shot.

Angel was just looking at the photo she had took off AJ and smiled she was keeping the camara and she would take a photo of AJ and herself together sometime later because she so wanted one of them both together just goofing around.
Angel was thinking about things when suddenly Ben was by herself and was doing a selfie. This was totally funny and she loved that he was thinking of her by knealing down a little bit more. "This is awesome." Angel beamed as she looked straight at the camara. "Lion!"
"Alacer" Cyprien said firmly making to pronounce it correctly. The picture started to move...nice!!! First try....Cyprien thought he might try to take a couple of more pictures and try this out later for practice. This was fun and informative. All in a days work for a Ravenclaw.

It took a moment for the Gryffindor to properly get her bearings and figure out exactly what was happening. Maybe a few more blinks too. What happened? The oddly enchanted feeling she'd had seemed to be slipping away inch by inch until she found herself here. Er.....what in Merlin's beard was she doing perched on Professor Fuller's desk? She...was...just gonna get off...now. What? Alexa tried grasping what the Professor had said but all she got was camera, partner and charming pictures? Everything was still a little blurry.

How did she get here and what even? With an awkward turn she reached for a camera as everyone else came to get one then she moved to Grayson. "Er...what are we doing?" And why was the room kinda spinning?
Fuller had opted to ignoring the student on his desk. He didn't LIKE being mean, so ignoring her was the next best option. He did notice, however, that once the activity instructions were given, she suddenly seemed to be aware of how much of a DWEEB she had been.
And she obviously hadn't been paying attention at all. Fuller sighed. She was on her own.

He would do it but he didn't want to blow his cover!

Fuller raised an eyebrow at the siblings. Merlin's beard, what were the houselves slipping in the pumpkin juice?! He blinked at the boy and then glanced at his singing sister. "Isn't she your sister?" Sooo.... wouldn't he NOT want her to be.... "apprehended"? Oh, but you never knew. Sibling rivalry and all. Whatever.

Ah, good question. "Charming old photos is quite a bit harder and it often times depends on the camera that was used. Many muggle cameras don't have the capacity to capture as much time as these cameras do. It's quite a bit trickier, but you can always give it a shot." Took a bit more concentration and skill, too.

He SOUNDED like he was getting more frustrated with the spell, but in actual fact Tobias was simply becoming more and more INTO what he was doing, so it was almost like he wasn't even in the classroom anymore. Awareness of those around him was dimishing, so he was simply really going for it.
But yeah, no, it still hadn't worked. Third time's a charm? And then maybe he'd have another go.
"ALAcer!"TAP!
Something at SOME point in the process of the spell went wrong. Perhaps he'd been a little too intense and the wand was protesting, or perhaps he'd had a weird muscle spasm. Either way, immediately after Toby had cast the charm, his hand had flung back up and his wand shot straight out of his hand. Toby watched with wide eyes as it flew, spinning, in a wide arc across the classroom. Thankfully, it didn't hit anyone, and instead smacked into the wall on the opposite side of the room.
Toby sat there for moment, staring after it, suddenly very aware of his presence in the classroom and how not-invisible he was. Welp. WELP. Without even really thinking about it, instead of getting up and retrieving his wand, Toby slunk down down dowwwwnnnnnn in his chair until he was eventually sat on the floor under the desk. He would just stay right here until the activity was OVER.
But, though he'd not taken the time to notice, Toby's third picture lay on his desk, totally animated. The charm had, at least, worked.
And then there was Toby... flinging his wand across the classroom. He briefly thought he smelled smoke earlier and wondered if that was him too. Fuller used his own wand to retrieve Toby's and guided it to hover in front of the boy who was now under his desk. You're welcome.
Fuller then raised his voice to address the class: "You're all doing great! Once you've finished, drop your photos on my desk and then you may be excused." And then he would grade the photos and put up the homework.

The Gryffindor had gotten one of the cameras, but he had still been finishing up with notes. Looking around the room, he noticed some of the chaotic things going on.... What? Why were the Newell siblings acting so weird? Caleb was always kind of weird... But Sophie, she always seemed pretty normal, but now she was singing? In the middle of class? Definitely something Sophie Newell didn't strike him as doing.
Shrugging it off, he decided to get back to work. First, he had to practice the charm. He could do it! Totally. Pretending to do it on his parchment, he practiced the simple tap in the middle. Wait. Why did he even need to practice that? It was literally just a tap... Right, anyways. Ahem. No one saw that, right?
"Ah-LAY-sur," that's what Fuller had said right? Ah-laaaay-sur?

He hadn't really waited to see her full reaction when he moved to take the picture, but she had responded with the key word. And when Benny had released the button after the picture was taken , the fourth year could see she was happy with what he had done. Good...he hadn't wanted her to say upset even if he had been rather spontaneous for him. The image that he was given was something he himself was quite happy with. Guess their first picture as a couple.
In another quick action he gave her a quick, light peck on the cheek before standing back up to his full height. "Think I have enough great pictures." Now to try the charm out on the rest of them. Ben took a seat in an empty nearby and set out the two personal shots he had taken, hoping they turned out better then his first try. Perhaps he needed more practice himself before applying it.
"Alacer...Ah-lay sur...Ah-lay sur...alacer." The incantation really didn't seem like the problem.
And then there was Toby... flinging his wand across the classroom. He briefly thought he smelled smoke earlier and wondered if that was him too. Fuller used his own wand to retrieve Toby's and guided it to hover in front of the boy who was now under his desk. You're welcome.

Bonus was that he was missing all the craziness with everyone else, too. Shame about all the gum on the underside of the desk that Toby absolutely wasn't going to look a-
... Wand. That was his wand, floating right there in front of him. Toby blinked at it for a moment, before he finally realised someone must be returning it. After plucking it from the air, the Hufflepuff peeked out from under the desk to see who... Ah, Fuller. Toby gave him a grateful smile, but was unsure if the guy had seen it because he soon went on to dismiss the class.
And that included him, because he'd charmed his two pictures.
Toby finally emerged from under the desk and looked at his photographs. So, apparently he HAD managed that last one. Good to know the wand-flinging hadn't been in vain. He straightened up and brushed as much floor lint away from his uniform as he could and headed up to Fuller's desk to drop all three the photographs there, including that burnt one, when he thought of something.
"Do we get the photographs back?" he finally piped up, saying more than he had all lesson as he turned to look at Fuller. "And do we get to keep the cameras?" They were neat.

Cinna wanted her second picture to be of them? Awww, that was so cute. Hopefully Bay wasn't too busy working with Kace; she didn't want to interrupt them. "Sounds good to me!" She was all for pictures of her with Bay.

... Wand. That was his wand, floating right there in front of him. Toby blinked at it for a moment, before he finally realised someone must be returning it. After plucking it from the air, the Hufflepuff peeked out from under the desk to see who... Ah, Fuller. Toby gave him a grateful smile, but was unsure if the guy had seen it because he soon went on to dismiss the class.
And that included him, because he'd charmed his two pictures.
Toby finally emerged from under the desk and looked at his photographs. So, apparently he HAD managed that last one. Good to know the wand-flinging hadn't been in vain. He straightened up and brushed as much floor lint away from his uniform as he could and headed up to Fuller's desk to drop all three the photographs there, including that burnt one, when he thought of something.
"Do we get the photographs back?" he finally piped up, saying more than he had all lesson as he turned to look at Fuller. "And do we get to keep the cameras?" They were neat.
Oh, good, he came out from under his desk. Fuller peeked at the photos Toby took before nodding at his questions. "I'll hand them back out when I'm done grading them. And yes, you can keep the camera." He smiled at the boy.
"Have a good afternoon." He'd most likely see him later.

One picture down! Phew! What hard work that had been. LOL. Well, it had been. Sort of. These spells took a lot of concentration. Adi set his first animated picture aside. He had to tear his eyes away from it because he couldn't stop looking at AJ. He glanced up at the real girl who was practicing and smiled. He wondered how she was coming along with the charm.
Anyway. Onto the next picture. The one with him and Benny. "Alacer!'' Tap. Uh huh. Adi would be lying if he said he expected the picture to start moving.
"Alacer!'' Tap! Nothing.
"Alacer!" Tap! Nothing.
"Alacer!" Tap! Hey! Movements!
Awesome! The Puffer hadn't even taken as long as he had the first time around. He grinned down at the picture. Besties smiling and looking all happy and everything.
Oh, good, he came out from under his desk. Fuller peeked at the photos Toby took before nodding at his questions. "I'll hand them back out when I'm done grading them. And yes, you can keep the camera." He smiled at the boy.
"Have a good afternoon." He'd most likely see him later.
Nodding. Nodnodnod. "Okay. Cool. Thanks." And Toby smiled too, though still a little unsure because of being confused and still feeling guilty, but it was rare that Tobias Tempus would not meet another person's smile with one of his own. "I will, sir. You too."
Aaaaaand then he went back to his desk, scooped up his notes and shoving them in his bag and carefully placing the camera inside too, on top of the many books and sheaves of parchment. When he had everything, Toby headed for the door, giving Professor Fuller a wave and another little smile as he left.
Angel smiled as Benny gave her a quick kiss that was so nice and unexpected then he was leaving her to work on his photos well she had to do that herself and so she went and sat down with her photos and smiled this was going to be totally awesome.
"Alacer!" tap! nothing happened/
"Alacer zam!" Angel giggled seriously wasn't that what muggle magicians said sometimes and Angel thought sometimes people in RL needed that to happen to them.
"Alacer!" Angel tapped the photo and movement happened this was amazing, she was totally in love with it.

"Oh man, how am I going to practice this thing???" She turned to ask the Professor but at the last minute thought better of it and turned to Grayson again. She'd just....uh...blend in and hope he didn't notice? "Have to make this work somehow." She could just...say the incantation a couple times, make herself look proactive...."Alacer...Ah-Lay-Sur...Ah-Laaay-Sur." Don't mind her, she'd just stand her snapping a few more pictures and pretending she could make this work.
Was Fuller shooting Lex looks? Grayson tried to discreetly glance over in his direction to see this for himself. WELL. Dude wasn't surprised, really. Something he WAS surprised in was the fact that Lex didn't remember what she did! "Merlin, you were in a deep sleep, weren't you?" he said, shaking his head, "You sat on his desk and asked him to get you some stupid book from some Red Haired Queen," Seriously, who WAS that? "And THEN you said that you'll curse him if he fails. Dude's gonna be a bit mad." Come on, how can Lex not remember this?
Grayson glanced over the Head Girl's shoulder and SMIRKED at the picture in her hands. "I must say, you've captured my smirk very well." And how many people could say that they had done that, eh? "Brilliant! Thanks!" Might. There was a lot counting on that word but he was hoping she'd lean more towards a yes. And a picture together? Was she saying what he thought she was saying?
IT WAS FREAKING SELFIE TIME.
Leaning closer to her, the fifth year held up his own camera and CLICKED it once she had taken her picture. Why? Because you couldn't look at two cameras at once. And besides, he wanted this picture so much that he'd even grinned wide for it. A rare moment that, he hoped, was now caught on camera.

"THAT sounds like the Alexa Cambridge I know." None of that Maleficent nonsense, even if he HAD enjoyed watching her boss people around. Was she still doing that? "Maybe it fell somewhere and you didn't notice." Or someone had stolen it while she wasn't. Doubted it. Which idiot would do that to THIS Gryffindor? Did they want to be hexed into another galaxy?
Grayson pulled out his own wand to practice the spell and cast it on the two photos in his hand but something the girl said distracted him. No no, something the girl was DOING was distracting him. His eyes landed on her, half interested in the way she was handling this. The girl had NEVER freaked out about something in front of him before. And instead of feeling happy or whatever he would have usually felt, the fifth year couldn't help but feel sorry for her.
Oh jeez. Oh MAN. He was going to do it, wasn't he?
"Here," he said, holding out his wand to her, "Use it to do your spell and don't break it, mkay?" Was this what being nice felt like? He didn't like it. In the meantime, he was going to go ahead and practice the incantation for the spell. "Alacer....... alacer...... ah-lay-sur....... ah-lay-sur...... ahhhh-laaayy-suuuur........... alacer....... alacer........"

Oh look at that FACE. The 'Slytherins rock' face. "Oh MAN, this is a really epic picture!" he said, holding the photo out for the kid to see, "Good pose. It has a very 'you don't mess with ME' look. Totally digging it." Uh huh. Kid was a pro at this already and he was what? Eleven? Twelve?
The blonde nodded and wrote some notes down about the activity that they were to do. At first the fourth year didn't understand what they were to do but then after she looked at her notes she understood what she was to do now. Her brain was all over the place today, it was mostly about school. Such as homework, classes and meeting all the new professors. She still didn't get to meet the new professors yet but she would be soon. The Gryffindor wanted to formally introduce herself to theses professors and any of the other ones that she still didn't know that well yet.
Did she really have to practice? It seemed like a fairly easy word to say. Unless it was harder to practice? The Gryffindor looked at the professor and then back to her notebook. The fourth year took her wand out and looked at her notes in front of her.
Emmylou cleared her throat. "Ahhh-laaaayser." Did she say it right? o_O That didn't sound right.

"Alacer" Jabbing his wand at his desk, Kyroh squinted. And poked. And squinted some more. He didn't want to be here anymore. He didn't even know why but he was positive that he was never coming back to another charms class ever again.

"Alacer. ALACER. AH-LAY-SUR. Alacer" Squeezing his wand he suddenly turned and went to grab a camera from the front. He KNEW the spell already OKAY?

Emmylou looked around at the other students. She was saying it wrong! Was it because of her accent? Emmylou was going to blame it on her accent because she didn't have a fancy accent that could say the alphabet and make it sound fancy. She had a southern twang and it set her out from everyone in this classroom and the castle in general. Emmylou shook her head and took her mind off of the students and the accents. She was getting distracted and that shouldn't happen.
She could do this! She was going to say it right. "Alacer. AH-LAY-SUR. AH-LAY-SUR. AH-LAY-SUR." It was right, she was right but it still sounded wrong. Maybe she should say it one last time.
"AH-LAY-SUR! Alacer."

"I didn't." Lex protested simply. There was no way she'd have sat on Fuller's desk making such outlandish statements. But then....when she came to she WAS on his desk making everything else Grayson said just as possible......."At least...I don't think I did. Are you sure?" Maybe he was the one who'd fallen asleep. Dreaming about her now, eh Whitlock? Well cut it out, it was creepy.
There was a conceited moment that followed when he complimented her on the picture she'd taken of him. "Why thank you. I happen to do everything brilliantly. You should keep that in mind." And for the compliment, she reached to duplicate it then and there so she wouldn't forget but that only reminded her more of the wand she no longer had. Like what EVEN??? There were only so many places it could have been!!
"It couldn't have fallen, I'd have heard it and someone would have needed to pry it from my waist or get pass my kneazle if I was sleeping."You try getting pass a cross kneazle that didn't want anyone touching his Mistress' things. Wasn't exactly easy, you know?
The anxiety was gone from her face for only so long as their picture then the one he was taking of them lasted. All grins because hello? Pretty faced people, you didn't mess up the shot, but then it was back to busine--"Of course, I'll be needing a duplicate of that." Okay, now back to business.
"Alacer...ah-lay-sur...ah--" Oh? Lex hesitantly took the wand, noting that she'd have been more than a little iffy about offering hers to anyone at all. Wow, nice one Whitlock, there was hope for humanity afterall. "Gee, thanks." Alexa held up one of the random pictures she'd taken and concentrated. "Alacer!" There was the faintest of booms then she found the picture now on fire, burning from the edge inward. "Holy kneazle!" She dropped it and proceeded to step on it until she was sure it was out before handing the wand back to Grayson. "I...don't think it likes me very much." DEADPAN.
