Angel looked around and saw Adi and Benny... what was going on between them. Well she had no idea and she didn't want to pick sizes so she just decided to work on her own.

Angel looked at AJ hoping that her sister would read her mind.. "Benny... Adi you should have a picture together after all you are besties." Angel was going to get them working together whether they liked it or not.

Angel went and got her camara and looked down at her attire series couldn't the Professor had warned them about this she would have done something with her clothes and her hair.

Wait, the professor wasn't familiar with gifs? Such a shame, really such a shame. In her mind everyone should be......and just where had Mr. Rabbit gotten to anyway? He had been hopping so fast, she couldn't really follow! Hmm.....maybe one of these people would be kind enough to tell her? "Excuse me, has anyone seen a white rabbit pass through here? He had on a rather snappy bow tie, a little vest and was carrying a pocket watch."

What were these people doing, anyway? Didn't they know that shouting words and waving sticks didn't do anything?

So they were learning how to make moving pictures. Brooklyn couldn’t decide if that was cool or weird, just because honestly she’d always just thought Wizarding photos had moved on their own. They should. It just seemed silly that with all the magic around them, they had to actually use potions or spells to make them move. As far as she was concerned, being a witch ought to have made things easier, not more complicated. Yet she also was determined to do well in this class. Charms was her daddy’s thing, and therefore she couldn’t fail in the subject no matter how little this lesson made sense.

She got up from her desk and went up to snag one of the cameras, the box having less than she figured it had before the others who had picked theirs out. Didn’t matter. She was going to make hers better than everyone else’s, since they’d been told they could keep them. Maybe she’d use it to take a picture of Tywin when she got back to her dorm. But first was class, and making sure nobody made her accidentally break her camera. First, she wanted to get at least one picture before anything happened. A picture of herself, since she was the most awesome person she knew. Flipping the camera around, she held it out at arms length and pressed down the button. Seconds later, she had a picture which she set aside to wait until it developed.

Samantha looked over at the Gryffindor. She was talking about a rabbit? Why was she talking about a rabbit? Things were getting strange just like what happened with the Head Girl. Samantha spoke to the enquiring girl. "I haven't seen any rabbits of any colour, sorry."

Samantha then focused her attention back to her partner. "Sorry about that. Your pronunciation is now perfect."

As Penelope said the word "Eagle" Samantha clicked her camera and soon a photograph came out from the bottom of the camera. She placed the picture on the desk. "Once you've taken your picture of me and we've each taken a photo of the two of us, we'll do the spell together."

Penelope looked at that girl who had asked about a rabbit, and then looked back at Samantha. "Do you think she's alright? Is she... Is this the same thing that happened to Lex? Should we try to convince her to let us bring her to the healer or something?"

Her pronunciation was perfect now. She was almost ready to do the spell. Picking up the camera, she told Samantha to smile. "Smile!

OK, now Jasmine was excited. She loved taking pictures and this activity was going to be a lot of fun. Just when she thought it couldn't get any better........they got to keep the cameras! How cool was that!

Jasmine thought that working alone would probably be best for this assignment. She decided to practice the spell first and then look for unsuspecting subjects. Going up to the front of the room, she grabbed a camera and then returned to her seat. Practice time. First she'd tackle the incantation. "Al-lay-sur", Jasmine said slowly. She wanted to get the feel of it before trying it at normal speed. "Alacer, Alacer, Alacer." Satisfied with her pronounciation, Jasmine moved on to the next step.

Since the wand movement was a simple tap on the photo, she didn't really feel the need to practice it. Jasmine gave her desk a tap with her wand anyway. There, she did it. Looking around the classroom, she tried to decide on a worthy subject?

"Hmm, maybe we should convince that girl to see a Healer. Honestly, I am not sure." Samantha replied in an unsure tone of voice.

Samantha smiled a soft smile when Penelope requested her to. "I have to take a picture of the both of us," Samantha said as she moved closer to Penelope in order to take the picture.

Agatha stared hard at the weirdos, as usual. The biggest of them was obviously a Gryffindor. She was at the professor's table and everything. Gryffindors... Honestly.

Why on earth did all of those people acted like children? That was SO annoying. They were supposed to be teenagers, not children. Sweet Morgana.

Agatha had no time for them. So she tried her best to ignore them all. It was hard work, but she was becoming good at that. Sort of.

A lot of eye-rolling happened as she went to get one camera for her to work with. Kids. She couldn't believe she had to have lessons amongst children. Honestly. Hogwarts should have a better system to select students. Even Slytherins were acting stupid nowadays and it was getting extra annoying.

Hopefully they wouldn't get worse than the Gryffindors. THAT would be bad. Really bad.

But onto the spell, she guessed. "Aleysh-" She mumbled half-heartedly as she turned the camera over in her hands to take a better look at it. She had never used one of those properly. Or at all, actually. She took a glance at the board again and read the spell. "Ale- Alacar." NO. Come on, that was an easy one. "Ala....cer." There. "Alacer. Alacer."

Ian was certain this would turn out badly but was relieved that she grinned and stuck out her hand to introduce herself. Hi, Norah. Yes. I'm a puffer. My name's Ian. Pleasure to meet you. Ian felt a bit of burden leave him, but he was certainly ready to try this activity. He wondered what his mum would think of moving pictures. He'd tried to hide wizard trading cards and the like and he'd not had any photos of any of his friends before. He was pretty excited about this. It would maybe, kinda sorta, help his mum understand more about what being a wizard was about. He didn't think his dad would ever understand. His dad felt like, or at least communicated that he expected Ian would follow his footsteps and be a fisherman.

Ian was going to ask who should go first when Norah picked her's up and said he should say cheese. He awkwardly put a half grin on his face saying the word cheese, not even thinking that was likely going to end up on the photo. So...Norah, as she took the photo was going to get cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssse! He stood their dutifully as if it were school portrait day and he supposed it would be. Ian was starting to feel a bit better about this year.

Jasmine walked around the classroom looking for someone/something interesting to take a picture of. She did not want the typical staged photo. She wanted to catch someone in he act of being themselves.

Ah, now here was a good subject. Jasmine saw the firstie with the flaming red hair and she was taking a selfie. That was good.......taking a picture of a person taking a picture of herself. Jasmine loved the way the girl held the camera and her voluminous hair framed her face perfectly. Click. "Sorry", she said. "I couldn't resist."

As Jasmine watched, the picture came out of he bottom of the camera. Perfect. Now all she had to do, was perform the charm correctly and make it move.

He was doing something wrong. He knew it. He just... knew it. But WHAT he was doing wrong, escaped him. The figures in his photograph weren't moving, this much was obvious, so he'd have to start from scratch and go through the process.

Shaking away thoughts of his failure, Zeke inspected his notes, and the looked to the board. Alacer. Pronounced ah-lay-sur ...... "Ah-lay-sur." .... "Alacer." That, was easy enough. No?

His intent too, was clear and obvious. He was focusing solely on making his photograph move, to animate it. So, without wasting another moment he tried again. Tapping his Larch to the inanimate page, he uttered the incantation CLEARLY. "Alacer."

And this time, IT WORKED!!!

HIS LEGS WERE MOVING! FEET WERE MOVING! THEY WERE MOVING!

....

"Awesome....."

Yep. He liked this magic business, and on top of that, Charms was cool.

But alas, he still need to take one more photo and animate that too before he could think about stopping. After all, just because he got the charm right once, it didn't mean he'd perfected it.

Right, she supposed she had gotten the spell right. The pronunciation, at least. What was the wand movement again?

She looked around and realised it was probably just a tap. Hm. Seemed easy enough. But Agatha didn't want to risk it so she chose to work by herself. Now she just needed a photo to Charm. No people would be in it, though, because she-- oh. Maybe there had to be a person in the photo so it would move. Eh. Fine then.

The Slytherin looked around and didn't want to approach anyone that would start judging her if she didn't get the spell right. Especially now that she saw a first year doing the Charm correctly. Well, maybe it wasn't that hard then. But you never knew.

Stepping to the side of the room, Agatha took a general picture of the entire room. That way there would be loads of things to move. Maybe that would be easy to make move since there would be loads of things moving at the same time and if the spell didn't work in a part of the photo, that bit could always be masked by the actual moving parts.

Sounded like a plan. So the fourth year took the camera up to her eye level and waited a couple of seconds before she snapped the first shot.

Not that AJ ever thought an activity wasn't fun, but this one had potential to be one of her favorites. They would be able to work in groups, and take pictures. Who wouldn't have fun with that? It would be nice to have a picture of her and Adi. That would look great hanging up on her wall by her bed.

First things first, AJ decided to practice the spell. That would be what gave her the most trouble after it was all said and done. Alacer. "Ah-lay-sur, AH-LAY-SUR." She said it over and over, until she felt comfortable. The wand movement was pretty simple so she took a chance and didn't practice that. She had Adi to help her out too. No need to worry.


Adi had grabbed a camera, but would she need her own? Unsure, she grabbed her one as well, just in case. AJ liked the idea of taking a picture with the group, but she noticed that something was still going on with the besties. "C'mon, Angel. Let's take a picture with Adi."

So they were really going to be able to make moving photos! Completely and totally awesome! She could send home photos to her parents and to her best friend...just so he kept it hidden, which she knew he would. What was even better though was that she could keep the camera as well if she didn't break it. Not that she would she was really careful with things like that.

First things first though she needed to get one of the cameras for herself. Making her way to the front of the room Hady picked up one of the cameras and returned to her desk with it. What would she take a photo of though? Someone else? Or maybe herself for Jaxon?

Glancing around the room she checked to see if anyone was looking for a partner first. Maybe someone would want to work together and they could take photos of each other or something?

Now AJ was telling her to join them. "Okay!" Angel smiled at her sister and her friend. "This is going to be fun." Angel went over to her sister and Adi now she had no idea what to do because the bestie were still fighting. She decided to stand next to her sister. "Hey AJ... how does my hair look?" Angel sighed as she looked at her sister. "Hey and how does my robes look?" Angel really wanted to have everything looking great.

Cinna nodded. "That's sound. I could use the extra practice with it." Good because if she was being honest she wasn't really paying much attention a little bit ago when the professor was talking about the charm and wand movement stuff. She was thinking about something else at the time.

She let Lux good first. That way she would know for sure what she was doing. After Lux went Cinna started. "Ah-Lay-Sur. Ah-Lay-Sur ALACER. ALACER." Well that wasn't too hard now. She grinned.

Scooting over closer to her bestie she flipped the camera facing toward them. "Silly faces!" She made a silly face and started giggling. "Besties!" And she snapped the button. She took the photo as it fell out of the camera. She looked at it. Oh wow. They were so silly. Hehe She couldn't wait to see how silly it looked when it was moving.

Kevin watched as everyone got up from their seats to grab a camera. He was pretty surprised that they could keep the device if they didn't break it and Kevin made sure that he wouldn't because although he'd probably do nothing with it it was free stuff. The Gryffindor did not stand up however to grab a camera himself but decided to first practise the incantation. The wand movement wasn't so difficult , just a tap. Even a newborn baby could do that so he wouldn't practise that. The incantation was a bit more difficult so he leaned back in his seat and began to mutter.
"Ahlaysur...Ahlaysur...Alacer...Alacer" It sounded more difficult than it was so he decided not to practise for too long. "Alacer, Alacer" he muttered some more and got up from his seat now to grab a camera.

"Thanks for being my model", Jasmine said to the little redhead.

Having captured her desired photo, Jasmine returned to her desk and got to work. She set the picture down and took out her wand. Tapping the center of the photo with her wand, Jasmine said "Alacer". Did it work? She looked down at her photograph and the little firstie was in motion, posing for her selfie. One down, one to go. Jasmine began to search for her next victim subject.

After grabbing one of the camera's , Kevin walked back to his seat while muttering the incantation under his breath. "Alacer...alacer..alacer" and he was pretty sure that he had it right and could not make a mistake. He placed the camera on the desk and sat down on the chair before looking around.

Students were already taking pictures with each other but Kevin didn't want to. Taking a selca was so stupid anyways. The Gryffindor wanted to capture something else..but what? He looked around as he grabbed his camera and held it up to his eyes. He looked through the viewfinder of the camera and began to snap some random shots. Mweh, he'd see what came out of it...

Maddie glanced at Kyroh, wondering if he was okay to do the activity. She was perfectly fine sitting it out with him, given she could easily find someone else to make her pictures move FOR her. Being cute helped with things like that. STILL, she liked the idea of KNOWING how to do things for herself, even IF she didn't HAVE to do them. And so she decided to try.

After going up to grab herself a camera, the thirteen year old settled back down at her desk and began practicing the spell. "Ah-lay-sur." Easy enough incantation. That didn't mean she'd be able to perform it correctly, though. "Ah-lay-sur... ah-lay-sur...alacer...alacer." Alacer.

Since the wand movement was a simple tap, she didn't REALLY need to practice that part. She was a pro at tapping. As if to prove that point to herself, the brunette idly tapped her finger on her desk, eyeing the camera curiously. Buddy Mo liked cameras. Maybe he was taking a picture somewhere at this very moment.

Maybe.

It didn't seem as if anyone was looking for a partner just yet. Therefore the young girl choose to move forward with her task of taking a photo. Chewing her lip in thought she looked the room at what might make a good photo.

Nothing. Well okay not nothing but nothing that Hady wanted to send a photo home of. Chewing on her lower lip in thought she studied the camera for a moment before getting an idea. Her and Jaxon used to always take photos together, she had a million in her trunk in the dorm room. This one would move though.

Getting up she sat down on her desk and let her legs swing back and forth. Holding the camera out with one hand at arms length she mouthed the words "I miss you" and then stuck her tongue out at the camera before giggling quietly. This of course was all done while she clicked the little button on the top of the camera.

Slipping off the desk and back into her seat she picked up the photo as it slid out of the camera. Setting the camera down on her desk she laid the photo down as well.

Practicing the spell would probably help. The wand movement wasn't a problem all she had to do was tab her wand on the center of her photo. Getting the incantation right was another thing. "Ah-Lay-Sur, Ah-Lay-Sur" She muttered softly to herself getting a feel for the word.
