The pendulum swung toward her, and with all of the others crowding around, Gwen had nowhere to go. She squeezed her eyes shut and waited until it hit her, the found herself back in Autumn. Whoops. Guess they were supposed to start there. Rolling quickly to avoid other students and another hit from the pendulum, she slid into winter.

The falling leaves disappeared and were replaced with an icy chill. Gwen could see her own breath. She suddenly wished she'd brought a jacket to class today. It was even starting to snow lightly inside her little planet, dusting her hair and shoulders with little white flecks. Not that they were very visible in her blonde hair, but she could feel them when she touched the top of her head.

Flammy was a miserable...word.

He was always doing things to purposefully be a pain and now this had crossed some invisible line, yeah? Making ASCANIUS a planet, which confined the seventh year in a small bubble was not something his anxiety could handle well. Also, the bubble distorted his looks and made him look FAT in his opinion. Looks were the most important thing in his life-ish. And when someone messed with those Ascanius either got offended, angry or had a meltdown.

Right about now it felt like he might do all three.

Setting his jaw, Ascanius GLARED at Glitter Trousers and tried to focus on the task at hand. Too bad there were falling leaves swatting at his face and a chill that was circulating in the bubble that was highly uncomfortable. JEEZ, he hated this class.

Step, step, step. He got moving and was attempting to make it to winter with some success. Until...

...he tripped over his feet. The bubble made it hard to walk, y'know? And he started rolling without any control down the pathway of other students.

Stupid class. Bump. Roll.

NOPE.

Jun was not planning on getting hit by that pendulum again. Even back in autumn, maybe Jun would just stay in this season for the rest of the activity. It was a nice cool breeze, just like outside. Why weren't they have this class outside instead? It wasn't all that cold yet, and way more room to run around. Seeing the pendulum coming, Jun ran out of the way, possibly pushing someone and letting them fall to the floor. Every man for themselves out here. He just wanted to finish with the gross summer weather already and rest. Maybe even get something to drink?

So yeah. EVERYBODY MOVE!

Spring. Finally. After having survived what felt like an eternal winter, Zander was so ready for the warmth and flowers, and butterflies that spring would bring. Spring would be so nice, right? WRONG. One thing Zander hadn't counted on: The pollen.

"ACHOOOO!" Sniffle. Sneeze. Sniffle. Allergies were the worse. He may have even preferred the slush. Okay no. Allergies weren't that bad. At least he had the company of some nice butterflies. AND BEES. AHHHH. At least there wasn't any rain?

Anywas back to the laps. Zander made a beeline for the 'sun'. Trying his best to bump into as few planets as he could, which didn't really work, he was going at a much faster pace than his two previous rounds. Maybe this wasn't all that bad. You just kind of have to get used to this spherical suite. AND THERE'S THE PENDULUM. Must. Avoid. At. All. Costs.

Pendulum dodgeball in planet costumes? This sounded interesting. It probably wasn't very safe, but at least nobody could fall off the tower. It wasn't until she found herself inside the planet costume thing that Penelope realized how claustrophobic she was. Panicking and thinking that she really needed to get out of the planet thing, Penelope tried to calm herself by thinking that all she needed to do was go around the sun once. The ball was rolling through the first season. Inside the ball was a little cold, and Penelope was crying a little and trying to resist the urge to scream.

Bouncing off the wall thanks to the magical barrier, Kyroh was sent flying directly into the pendulum.

TWACK!

Tumbling and spinning in the costume Kyroh finally came to a halt at one end of the class. The first year slowly stood up, trying his best to not fall over from dizziness and suddenly leaves began to fall from the top of his costume. It was no longer unbearably hot, but rather a nice cool breeze took over that seemed to blow the leaves around. Grinning Kyroh reached for a leaf and from the corner of his eye he noticed the pendulum strangely CLOSE to where he was.

Oh no. "NO YOU WILL NOT HIT ME AGAIN!"

Pushing off with much more control this time Kyroh began to run as fast as he could with the leaves falling all over, him and even trying to block his sight. He could do it! He could go fast but with CONTROL. Because there was no way that Kyroh was not about to loose his balance again.

That pendulum was not his friend.

Hamster-ing some more and now in a real hurry to get to.......

.....ah, there it was. Spring. And she'd hit the luck lottery because it wasn't raining inside her ball. Instead, there was a nice, gentle breeze and the smell of blooming stuff in the air. Until the weather inside her ball had to go and ruin that with a storm cloud, of course. Then, the wind turned into a harshly blowing one, there was thunder rumbling and she could smell rain in the air.

"OUCH!" Scratch that. It wasn't just rain in the air, but hail too. Quarter sized hail. Leaving bruises upon her skin. Really?! Professor Flamsteed really needed to start going over his lesson plans with someone. Someone who could tell him when something is a bad idea. Like this.

It least she wasn't pinballing, right?

What was that? Who was shouting? Justine was certain some sort of calamity had occurred and whipped her head around to try to see the source of the sound.

PROFESSOR FLAMSTEED?!? What? Wait? What?!? He was joining in? Oh because this hadn't been crazy and havoc-y enough with the students, and the weather, and the pendulum. Justine JUST managed to get out of the shouting Professor's pathway, and in her haste to get out of his way, she stumbled and nearly lost her balance.

Oh no, oh no, oh no.
Justine flailed, trying to regain her balance and not end up on her cum again.

Justine saw the Hufflepuff coming her way, but could do nothing to escape his path and could only brace herself for impact.

BUMMPPPPPPP!
Justine cringed as once again she went flying back, once again landing on her already sore behind. The Ravenclaw looked up as the Hufflepuff shouted out to her, what was that he was saying? She couldn't really hear him through her costume-ball-thingy, but it sounded a little like... Lorri? What? Her name wasn't Lorri.

Oh, sorry. He was saying sorry, well that was nice of him, she supposed though completely unhelpful. If Justine hadn't been so annoyed and disoriented she would have made a better note of how cute that Hufflepuff boy had been, but that wasn't the case. Should she be saying something in return? What did you say when someone bumped into you with their ball-costume-thing during a lesson? Justine had no idea. "It's OKAY!!" The Ravenclaw replied as loudly as she could.

Slowly standing up, and looking about her very cautiously, Justine took a few seconds to let her brain recalibrate itself, before shaking her head and running back into the fray with a surge of determination.

And it was... Spring? Ugh, Justine hated Spring, she had the worst allergies and as her costume filled with pollen and flowers the young girl began to violently sneeze.

Atchoo! Atchoo! Atchoo! Atchoo! Atchoo! Atchoo! Atchoo! Atchoo! Ugh, this was not pleasant, not even a bit. She needed to hurry up to the next orbit now, before it got any worst. Somehow she managed to keep her eyes open even through their itchy, tearfulness, and somehow, even through her sneezing fit, Justine managed to run pass the pendulum and the other students and made it (THANK MERLIN) to the next season.

Cris quickly glanced back to check on the girl he had bumped into and was glad to see that she was back on her feet. He made a mental note to himself to speak with her before leaving class. However, right now, his main goal right now was to keep running....moving his costume along. Not because he hadn't completed running around the sun, because he had...but mainly because he didn't much like how hot it was in his costume.

So partly pushing partly running, Cris focussed on up ahead, so much so that he lost track...for the umpteenth time...of the pendulum and when it came swinging back at him, he only had a second to react.

Quickly leaning to the side, he dodged barely managed to dodge the pendulum but in the process he found himself headed towards the last person he wanted to bump into...Professor Flamsteed!

Wait what was he doing in here? When he had joined them? Since now wasn't the time to ask him, all Cris could do was call out a warning. "Look out Professor."

As the ball rolled in to winter, it started to rain. The rain was just making things worse. Penelope was wet, and still panicking and crying. rolling around in the wet ball, Penelope wondered if the rain would magically disappear, or if it would stay in the ball and eventually fill the whole ball with water and drown her if she did not get to spring soon. Thinking that she might drown in a ball during an astronomy class activity, Penelope was now totally freaked out. Screaming and crying in her wet ball, Penelope hoped that the water would go away when she reached spring.

The questions prior to the activity were confusing him, and Theo was pretty tired of guessing since 9 times out of 10 - he was wrong. Instead he started to doodle pictures of planets in a page of his notebook. Something he did often in Astronomy class. At least it was related, hey?

Foucault pendulum???

What the....?

Oh Merlin, words. He was failing this class. He was failing it so bad. Theo rubbed his temples as he attempted to listen to what Flamsteed was blabbering on about but the realization of his impending FAILURE was looming over him.

As instructed Theo got up from his chair and almost tripped over his own feet as he did so. Soon enough, there was a massive bubble around him which made him panic for real. Was there even AIR in here? Was he on limited air? What if it popped? Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhy was this happening???? Since everyone else was moving around in their big balls, Theo decided to copy even though he wasn't quite sure what he was doing. Autumn first, right?

Well, it did feel a bit breezy. Theo was making extremely slow progress to winter, because whenever another student got near him, he halted still and flinched.

Angel sort of like this game but she was a bit scared that she would be knocked over and hurt, what would the Professor do if someone broke an ankle, hadn't he thought of that before deciding on this game, seriously health and safety you know, not that she would tell him that but she had a feeling Ofsted wouldn't like it if they were around, saying that did Magical school have to comply to them?

Angel decided that she was going to get involved with the game and smiled as she started to run around, she didn't get far before being hit with the pendulum, "Grrr!!" Angel growled at the pendulum as she got back up, she was not impressed with it, it should have left her alone and she really wanted out of Autumn because it was a bit chilly.

Angel decided to go again and this time she watched the pendulum very closesly, she tried to run in time but she got hit by it again "Grr!" Angel growled again, this was totally like total wipeout and she was doing just as good as some of them contestant which wasn't very good at all.

Leah stood up hastily, not knowing what the game would be about. A small grin started to creep up her mouth as she understood the game. The costume was really fun, and inside she could feel the awesomeness of autumn. Taking step after step forward, the second year concentrated on moving forwards and slammed into... "Angel!" Leah yelled, waving frantically at her friend who apparently had just been attacked by the pendulum.

"Come on, Angel, let's make it to winter!" and she swiftly dodged an oncoming pendulum attack, one side of the costume scraping it.

Great. He was at the beginning again. This whole game was stupid. Basically everthing was stupid when Kevin wasn't good at it. And he wasn't so that made this game stupid. Kevin logic. Whoever he had bumped up against rolled with him as well and as he struggled to got up and shaking his head to let the leaves fall he saw that it was someone from Hufflepuff.

And he knew his name.... had he talked to him before? Or was he one of those students who was friendly to everyone and knew everyone? ugh. As he edged closer, the Gryffindor shook his head. "I don't need help" he said as he got up and immediately slipped again. The hot headed Gryffindor punched the bubble in frustration but then got up again and this time he was able to stand.

Ignoring the Hufflepuff, the Lion searched for the pendulum and saw that it was on the other site now. This was his change! He began to run, more like stumble, forward and this time he was able to go to the next season. Which was what? The Gryffindor looked around in his bubble and realised that it started to get freezing cold. He shivered as he rubbed his arms in an attempt to keep warm. There was no snow, just super cold weather. He needed to get away here. But the Pendulum was back already and Kevin hadn't even seen the hit coming as he was bounced against the invisible barrier and back to the pendulum as the pendulum bounced him back again against the barrier.

This continued a couple of times and only until the pendulum was away he was able to get some rest. Kevin sat down on the ground and held his head in his hands and looked down in between his knees , dizzy attack!

Angel giggled as she realised that she had accidently hit her friend and honorary sister Leah. "I'm sorry." Angel blushed as she gave her friend a massive hug.

Angel then decided that she really wanted out of Autumn it was getting a bit chilly and she knew that it was important that she learned from her mistake, this time she ran straight at it surely if she ran at it she would miss it, that was her thinking anyway.

*bang*

Angel got taken out by the pendulum again and this time Angel was ready to kick and scream at the stupid thing. "YOU STUPID PENDULUM!" Angel aimed a kick at it but missed and hit a wall instead. "OUCH!!!!!!!" Angel hopped around as she clutched her toes they hurt, maybe trying to kick the thing was a bad mistake.

"It's okay, Angel. It was me who slammed into you anyway." Leah was halfway through talking when she was given a HUG! In the planetary costume it was quite uncomfortable, but the second year patted her honorary sister in the back and returned the hug as best as possible.

It might have been because Angel was feeling the same chill as Leah, as she ran straight forwards. Just what a brave Gryffindor would do, the girl thought, when Angel slammed into the pendulum again. Leah ran to the girl as she kicked the wall. "Oh, Angel, do you think you need a rest or something?" she asked concernedly. "Or if you want to continue, follow me." Leah motioned and kinda grabbed the firstie's hand. The pendulum was at the other side of the room by now, and they could probably get out of autumn by the time it hits them.

She ran, and felt the weather getting colder and colder.

Angel smiled at Leah as she rubbed her foot, it was hurting and she was sure that she had bruised it but she was a brave little lion and she wasn't going to let that stop her from completing this task, she would either do it or die trying.

Angel watched as Leah grabbed hold of her hand and started to lead the way forwards this was good, Angel smiled as she realised the pendulum was at the other end of the place which meant that she could make it, she felt the weather getting colder and colder and colder and she shivered a bit but still did a little jig once she was safely through.

It was starting to get warmer inside of Jasmine's planet costume. Summer was on its way. She new this because now it had become downright hot. It wasn't hot with a nice ocean breeze like in California, it was hot and HUMID. Along withnthe hot and humid air came.......mosquitos. Jasmine knew that she had better wrap things up quickly because it was becoming quite uncomfortable, fast.

Jasmine continued to duck and dodge the pendulum and her classmates. As she looked to the side, she noticed a young girl appearing to have a major meltdown inside of her bubble. Oh no, it was Penelope the first year that she had met at the feast. Clearly she was in distress because crying and screaming appeared to be involved. Jasmine was so close to the finish line she could almost taste it. She knew that she couldn't just leave the girl so she turned and made a beeline for her bubble.

Rolling up beside Penelope Jasmine asked, "What's wrong?" To top things off it was raining inside Penelope's bubble and she was borderline hysterical. Maintaining a calm tone, Jasmine said, "Penelope look at me". "You're going to be OK. Just try to relax and breathe. The rain will stop when you get to your next season. You've got to keep moving, but first you have to calm down. I'll help you if you want. You can follow me." Jasmine continued to speak soothingly to Penelope, hoping that she would be able to regain control and finish the task.

Rollin' rollin' rollin'. Astronomer was rollin'. Rollin' rollin' rollin' WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAH!

Loosing his footing, the professor face planted into the front of his bubble which continued to roll forward and caused the man to go around the full 360 degrees - like what sometimes would happen to hamsters that would run too fast on their hamster wheel. Spin spin spiiiiiiiiin....

And while he did genuinely want to help the Ravenclaw, his want wasn't entirely selfless. Tears freaked the man out.

"Miss Wright? Miss Wright?" he called out as he slowed his erratic rolling to keep pace with her. Was she claustrophobic? WHY WAS SHE CRYING?! COULD SHE STOP?! "You alright, Miss Wright? If the activity is too much for you you can opt to sit it out."

And then Miss Guidry rolled on up next to them and the professor pondered rolling away since it was clear that the sixth year had far better parental instincts than he did.

Salute for you, Miss Janvier, as he went rolling by. Thankfully his top hat had somehow managed to stay on his head during all the rolling that had ensued. The leaves had stopped blowing around as well, replaced by snowflakes and COLD as the light from the Sun began hitting his planet costume from a different angle.

The cold? Nah. It never bothered him anyway.

Back on his feet now, somehow, Airey's eyes went a little wild with excitement as Mr. Strand came rolling towards him - whether on purpose or not, it did not matter.

As for the watching out, well, it wasn't in his game plan to avoid contact. After all, objects in space were colliding all the time. Just part of the way things worked in the universe.

So instead of doing what he was sure the Hufflepuff was expecting, the man went rolling right towards him.

Finally...Finally!

He was done with winter. That was torture. Okay, maybe not. But now the seasons only got better. This running around in a ball and not tripping over himself was getting tiresome though. He was not an expert at this and it felt like he was doing bear crawls constantly just to not fall down.

Not Zen.

Spring was definitely Zen. Nice weather with a little wind. He could also smell grass. Interesting. Maybe his second favorite season. But he could not necessarily zone out. Since Flameo was going crazy in a ball of his own.

Wait did he hear that right. You could opt to sit out. Why didn't Nigel hear about this. He would have done that instead of get in this ball thing

Good, Jun was back to winter. Which meant the snow, cold air and the snowman were back. But that wasn't the point. He just needed to make it through winter and back to spring. Running in this costume wasn't so bad. His legs did more tedious things while practicing in the room of requirement and over the summer. It was so bad that sometimes his legs would start shaking and he'd force myself to keep going. Like now. Jun did his best to steer clear of people but maybe rolling again would help him here. He kneeled down and rolled. Just in time to dodge the pendulum that and right at him. Luckily, it hit another student so he was okay for now.

Rolling his way along, he tried not to trip people since it got him sent back to the start. Karma was after him today. Never mind, he was going to run instead. Someone might try to step on him so he put extra effort into getting back on his feet. It work and now he was quickly waddling his way away from the incoming pendulum and onto the next season. The winter air was making him a little too cold now.

You know, Kevin had not even realised that the Professor had decided to play the game as well until he had looked up from where he was seated and saw him bumping against the bubbles of the students. AS IF THE SUPER FAST PENDULUM WASN'T DIFFICULT ENOUGH!

Making sure to keep away from the crazy space man, Kevin got up on his feet and took a deep breath. In a few seconds, the Pendulum would move away from his direction and he got a chance to...NOW nownownooow! The second year rolled forward, effectively avoiding the pendulum and other students again. He was starting to get pretty good at this. Moving to his left , he hit the invisible barrier and got pushed back in the the field. No matter though since the Pendulum was....IT WAS HERE ALREADY Kevin ran forward as fast as he could until he felt the weather in his bubble change. It was nice here... he looked down at his feet to see that a couple of flowers started to grow in rapid speed as the light from the *sun* hit the bubble suit from a certain way. He only needed to go to summer and he was do---

Aaaaaand he got bounced back again by the pendulum. The Gryffindor yelled at the sudden impact and rolled towards winter. This was stupid! hmpf...

Adi eyed Kevin. Maybe the little dude was just grumpy because he fell over? Or the bubble thing was annoying him? At any rate, if anyone should be annoyed it should be him because Kevin did bump into him. He watched the Gryffindor try to get to his feet only to slip again though he did make it on the second try. "Alright. Have fun and try not to fall over again.'' Adi grinned and fixed his attention on the pendulum once more.

It was ridiculously close so Adi had to make a super fast dodge to avoid being hit. He narrowly missed it for he could feel a whoosh of breeze as it shot by him. Whew! Now to get moving again. With the pendulum a safe distance away now, the boy padded off. Soon, the inside of his bubble was once more changing scenery.

There was gentle breeze and he could smell grass and fresh flowers. Adi disliked the smell of grass but flowers smelt good. He grinned. One more season to go.

UGH!

Sophie was not prepared for a snowfall in the middle of September. No, the snow could stay away for another few months for all she cared. The problem was, though, she couldn't move due to the thickness of the cold, white substance.

A thought occurred to her, and she jerked her head toward the pendulum. It wasn't near her for now, so she just focused on trying to get herself out the snow. She lifted up a leg and walked forward. Her planet gave a slight roll forward, which was at least progress.

The next problem was that the progress put her right in the line of the pendulum. "AHHHHHH!" she called out from inside her planet. She began banging on the sides of the ball in panic. The pendulum swung by and very slightly brushed across her planet ball.
