Hecate stood in the middle of the classroom. She seemed more pleasant than usual... for one thing she was no longer dying. She was cured, and she looked the picture of health... well... unless you count the streak of gray in her hair, and the one gray eye... You didn't really notice the eye unless you were close to her, and not many students would dare get close enough to see... except maybe...

She'd hex the hufflepuff who did...
She opened the door to the classroom and sat behind the desk.

Oichi was not far as she watched a scene begin between Professor Lafay and her fellow little Gryffie Lexi. She heard the professor say something about killing her if her cauldron blew up. Suddenly this class did not seem so fun. She knew the professor was not serious but that still was not right. She quickly measured the bile and got her laddle spinning counter clockwise on its own. She then added the flobberworm mucus.
Then she walked over to professor Lafay keeping in mind that she was only looking to make things right. She tapped on her shoulder, "Excuse me what you said to my friend and fellow Gryffie Lexi was really uncalled for. Threatening death on a student for any reason even if you don't mean it is not right.".

Christmas listened to what the professor was saying and she measured the bile and then got the ladle spinning counter clockwise and then added one drop then another drop in then let the mixture spin until it stopped on it's own and then once it stopped she got a wooden spoon and spooned the flobberworm mucus to the mixture

Daichi's gaze looked up to find out who she was talking to and with a breath of relief he saw that it was directed to a gryffindor. Good, the Snakes were behaving...so far...
Oh right, the potion.
Daichi looked down in his cauldron and thought he was doing a pretty good job so far. No explosions or weird bubbling bubbles came from it. Measuring out the armadillo bile , the Slytherin stirred the cauldron fast but not to fast that he would get splatters everywhere...he had learned that the hard way in his first year, or had it been his second? mweh.
He was about to drop 2 ounces of armadillo bile when a small kid looked inside his cauldron. Raising his eyebrow, Daichi turned his head to see who it was and when he saw Eliza he smiled a little. "Having trouble?" he asked before he dropped the 2 ounces in the cauldron. While he waited , he grabbed the wooden spoon and when the spinning stopped he added 4 cups of flobberworm mucus like instructed.

Sierra glanced at her mother, but luckily for the girl, her mother hadn't noticed yet. Flicking her wand toward the girl's cauldron, Sierra said, "Evanesco!" The milk disappeared, leaving an empty cauldron. "Like I said, you need to clean your cauldron, so that any dust or dirt you can't see doesn't mix with your ingredients. You clean it using a simple spell." She flicked her wand toward the cauldron again. "Scourgify!" The leftover milk dried away, leaving a clean cauldron. "So now you can pour the milk in. Go and get some more from the supply closet, and then follow the directions from the professor. Let me know if you need any help."

She thought she had been pretty sneaky about checking the cauldron next to hers, after all Daichi had seemed pretty occupied with something he was thinking about at the time - but nope. Daichi had caught her. Her face turned a little red when she tried to explain herself. "I uh...Well okay. So I was checking your cauldron, because I was on the egg step...and I wondered if we put the shells in or not. You know, she said to crack them but I thought maybe that was just to let the insides come out faster -but maybe the shells would help the potion. Like even MORE egg material?"
She looked into his cauldron again and then back to him. "But I didn't see anyone else do that and your potion looks pretty shell free, so I didn't put the shells in after all." She gave him a it's-nice-of-you-to-notice-me and a please-don't-get-mad-for-me-peeking toothy grin.
She wondered if her curiosity about it made any sense to anyone other than herself. She understood her reasoning, even if it was a bit odd.

Two, three, four, five...there. All the doxy eggs were cracked and safely in the cauldron. Alex had made sure that after every egg, he'd stopped and stirred it counterclockwise. For some reason, he was overcome with a strange desire to really impress Lafay this year. After all she was KIND of family and he just wanted to show how much he'd improved since his first year.
Now time for the sulfar. He made sure his gloves were on nice and tight--he didn't want any sulfar-y stuff on his hands!--and crumpled them over the top of his cauldron, watching the bits fall in to the milk.
Darn, he was falling behind again gahhhhhhhhh.

Wade took the Armadillo bile, measuring two ounces. Now with both hands to help the speed, he stirred the potion clockwise round-and-round until it was spinning on it's own in a rapid speed. Quickly, he threw the two ounces of the bile in, making it splash a little.
Turning his back to get the four cups of flobberworm mucus, he sat it on the wooden spoon and waited for the spinning potion to stop before he spooned it in. Wade then looked up for the next instructions to see a girl talking with the Professor.. Huh. He leaned a tad closer to see what was going on.

Daichi simply smiled at Eliza and looked down at his own cauldron. Her question was actually a pretty good one. 'Cause maybe it WOULD give more effect to the potion if the shells are added as well. But he had not seen the Professor do that and even he had only dropped in the insides of the doxy eggs.
"Since we are a step further now it's too late. And if it was wrong both our cauldrons will explode so you aren't alone" he joked and gave the girl a wink. "But if you have any questions, like the one just now don't hesitate to ask Professor Lafay" Because despite being a Prefect, he wasn't a potion wonder and they had a professor for this right? "But don't ask stupid questions, she doesn't like that" he whispered and chuckled afterwards.
Laura looked at the Professor and smiled, as she followed the next lot of instructions, she really wanted to make sure that everything was perfect today because she didn't want to give Miss Dragon a chance to have a go at her like she had last year when she had kicked her out of her class.

So there she was minding everyone's business while she waited on the next set of instructions from the Professor. There was Dylan helping Scary-Bat Girl, Mo was getting on with his own potion, West was asking questions, Oichi was tapping on Professor Lafay's shoulders--wait whaaaa?
Lex had to take a second look to ensure that she wasn't simply seeing things and her mouth fell open when she heard what the girl had to say.

Her ears went into shock for a moment when she heard what the girl had decided to bother the Professor about. This. Wouldn't. End. Well. She knew it and Oichi should have known it. Lex felt she needed to fix this before something BAD happened so she quickly hurried over to her and rested a hand on the girl's shoulder. "Umm...Oichi...it's fine..." Her eyes shifted to the Professor nervously, she had already been sent back to her cauldron once, she shouldn't have left it a second time but she was sure the Professor wasn't appreciating the talk from the older Gryffindor girl. "You should um...you should sit before the Professor gets mad." She continued in a whisper. Then she looked up at the Professor juuuuust a little bit bolder this time. "I a-apologize f-for her Professor. I think she might have done something wrong with her mixture and the fumes got to her...it's not her fault..." PleaseDon'tGetMadAndKillThemBoth. She didn't WANT to DIE >___<

Eyes squinted, his tongue poking out slightly between his teeth, Alex started to measure out his armadillo bile. This was by far the WEIRDEST ingredient they'd ever used in here, in Alex's opinion. What was armadillo bile anyways? He didn't want to know.
First things first, though--he had to stir the cauldron. Vigorously clockwise, ok...Alex began to do just that. It hurt his arm actually. Maybe he should start lifting some weights before he went to quidditch practice...
He was PRETTY sure it was on full spin...after all, after about ten minutes of stirring, it was moving by itself so he was certain he'd done it right. He dropped the two drops of armadillo bile in the potion. Now he needed to wait until it stopped.
Alex had REALLY worked it up, apparently, because it took almost five whole minutes for it to stop. Goodness gracious! That was the longest five minutes of his life. Once that was done, he could move on. He measured out his flobberworm mucus--four cups of it--and then spooning it in the potion as instructed.

Armadillo bile. Yuck. Ella scrunched up her nose in disgust and eyed the stuff for a moment or two before getting ready to measure. Two ounces of the it, yeah? Ick. Measuring carefully, the blonde badger shuddered. Gross ingredient was gross.
Next Ella cleaned her stirrer and began to stir the potion, making sure she was going clockwise and when it was in it's full spin, she added the bile. See you never, bile. Thank goodness.
She waited a few minutes for the spinning to stop and then focused her attention on the flobberworm mucus, which was also pretty gross. Couldn't potions use nice things like flowers? HUH? Ella cleaned her wooden spoon before spooning in the 4 cups of mucus. Right. Another step done.
Scrunching her nose a bit, Peyton measured the armadillo bile and stirred the potion as directed. She watched as the contents inside the potion swirled and went ahead and added the two ounces of the bile. Letting it sit until it stopped swirling, Peyton wondered why they couldn't a nicer potion. For example, a pretty smelling one that made you grow taller. Like several inches. She wouldn't mind that. *__*
Peering inside the cauldron, she watched as the potion's swirling came to a stop and added the four cups of flobberworm mucus using the wooden spoon. Uuugh. She was going to need a nap after this to forget all the grossness and stuff.

Ingredients:
- Milk - to fill cauldron half way.
- 5 Doxy eggs
- 10 grams of Sulfur
- 2 ounces of armadillo bile
- 4 cups of flobberworm mucus
- 1 cup of whale oil
- 2 cups of Mountain Troll Dung
- 1 Lemon's juice
- Handful of Poppy seeds
Procedure:
• clean cauldron
• fill cauldron half way with cow milk
• start burner on a low fire
• crack five doxy eggs and after each one stir once counter clockwise
• crumple gems of Sulfur into the cauldron (make sure to wear gloves)
• stir potion and while it's in motion add two ounces of armadillo bile
• when the potion stops swirling at four cups of flobberworm mucus with wooden spoon

He wanted to say 'No, did not hear you say that', but as that could be pointless, he preferred to say nothing instead. He had to go and collect those ingredients anyway. After Peyton left to get hers, he followed the girl and carelly collected all the necessary ingredients on the list. He did not want to touch any Mountain Troll Dung even if it was in a container but it seemed that was a must now. The dung was the first thing he placed on the desk when he was back. After eyeing the disgusting thing a bit, he unholstered his wand and pointed it into the cauldron. ''Scourgify'' The thing was clean, right? He eyed inside of the cauldron a bit. It seemed to be clean. He put the wand on the desk and took the milk. After filling half of the cauldron with the 'cow' milk, he picked up his wand again and started the low fire with the incendio charm. Low fire, not more.

As he waited for the next instructions, Richard decided to shut up and just focus on his work. Who would he talk with anyway? The professor? No way. His girlfriend was acting weird and he did not want to disturb Peyton while she was on her work. So he just stared at the fire and listened to what the professor was saying. Cracking the eggs?
He had to look up at that part. He watched carefully as the woman added the eggs in, stirred and started with the sulfur. He picked up the first egg and cracked it by tapping with it on the desk a bit, once he dropped what was inside into the milk, he stirred 'counter' clockwise just as the professor did. He made every stir silently after adding the other eggs until they were all added.
Done with the eggs. He pushed the eggshell away from his working area and picked up his gloves. Once he made sure they covered his hands properly, he did not want any sulfur on them, he took the container with sulfur and started to add them in by crumpling the gems into very small pieces.

The Slytherin boy was surely not having any fun. Of course, a class was not usually supposed to be fun but when he was on his way to the this class he had thought it would completely different than this. Now he did not feel interested in making this potion anymore. Maybe he should have left the class when the professor said he could.

It was already too late for that. Sighing a bit he watched the next two steps. Armadillo bile. Right. Taking the container, he measured the amount that seemed to be enough and put it back on the working area. Stirring time. Still avoiding to look at anyone else, his gray eyes were only on his potion. He stirred it fast and while it was spinning, added in the armadillo bile he had measured.
He was not going to sit and wait like the professor said. So while it was spinning, he measured 4 cups of the flobberworm mucus and kept the wooden spoon ready. Of course, the wooden spoon needed to be cleaned. Once he scorgified it, the spinning in the cauldron seemed to have stopped so he added the mucus in with the spoon. Now what was next? Richard looked around but everyone seemed to be busy with the last two steps. Alright then. Dropping the wooden spoon on the work area, he picked up his quill and started to doodle stuff on the parchment. The parchment he was supposed to take notes on. Meh. He surely did not feel like taking notes about this potion. It was gross, he was never going to need it.
As he was doodling, he eyed Aurora a bit but he was determined not to talk to her. So instead, he turned to Peyton. She did not look every enthusiastic about brewing this potion either. ''You need help with anything?''

"It doesn't have to be fresh milk but it can't be already curdled. And whole, raw milk is the best." She said. "Straight from the cow..."
She narrowed her eyes at the girl... she didn't like her.
"Montmorency... I'm not sure I like you calling another student... pupil in my class." She said.
Hecate turned again, getting even more irritated. "There I go what?" She said and then quickly said "Nevermind..."

Amelia was excited to get the potion ready. Yeah she was getting this DONE. So the over excited girl that wanted her potion to be PERFECT just watched Professor Lafay crack her doxy eggs.
She took an egg in her hand and cracked it and after dropping the egg's contents into the cauldron she took her stirrer she stirred the potion once counter clockwise after the first egg. Following Lafay's instructions she cracked, dropped, and stirred counter-clockwise five separate times. After the cracking, dropping, and stirring had occurred she moved onto the next step.
Then she put on her gloves and took the sulfur into her hand. She then picked up the sulfur into her hand - all ten grams of it, and started to crumble them with her hands so that she could crumble it into the milk. There.

After she got all of the ingredients they would be using that day, Sophie got some parchment and her wuill to take notes. Quickly scribbling down everything she judged that was important, she dropped the quill and pulled out her wand.
"Scourgify." Tadah! All clean!
Placing her wand next to her quill, the Hufflepuff poured the milk into her cauldron, filling it half way as professor Lafay told them to do. Sophie got her wand again and pointed it to the burner. "Incendio." And a low fire started underneath her cauldron.

Sophie got one of the doxy eggs and tapped it on the edge thing of her cauldron to crack it.
lkfngdkjgnfdj! The whole thing almost fell inside the cauldron, with the shell and all! Sophie quickly used the stirrer to get the little pieces of the shell that had indeed fallen in just as professor Lafay was telling a Ravenclaw boy that it was okay if they got it before the shell melted.
Aaand she did! Sophie was able to remove the shell from her mixture before it melted. Pheeeeew!
The fourth year made sure there were no more shell pieces in her cauldron before she stirred it counter clockwise once.
The girl made sure she used the edge of the table this time to help her crack the doxy egg. Theere, much better. She dropped it inside her cauldron and stirred again. The third doxy egg... third stir... Fourth... and... fifth!
Kay, now... the ingredient Mordred had mentioned earlier. Mhm! Smart boy.
Sophie watched closely as professor Lafay demonstrated what they were supposed to do with the gem thingies. Whoa. That was... a bit dangerous, wasn't it? She quickly put on her gloves and eyed her classmates a bit, watching them work. Meep!
Gulping, the brunette finally took the gems of Sulfur and crumpled them into the milk like the Slytherin woman had demonstrated herself and as the other students were doing.

When her potion was in full spin, Sophie carefully dropped in what she hoped was the right amount of armadillo bile. Blink. Yeah. Okay. The girl watched as the spinning slowed down and eventually stopped.
Floberworm mucus now. One cup... two cups... three... four. With a wooden spoon, because of whatever reason.
Uh... that thing already looked disgusting... yuck.

As Selina was copying Dylan's notes looking over some clerical parts of Dylan's notes, the redhead got sort of all involved in her writings. So much so that when she heard Dylan's voice she sort of zoned him out, luckily for her he had been talking to Cambridge. As much as she really did GENUINELY like Cambridge- because the ickle was adorable- whenever Selina saw Cambridge it was like instaheadache because where Cambridge went trouble followed. It was wildly endearing on her, but she could not help but wonder what the younger Gryffindor was up to.
SO she turned up her listening ears and went back to scribbling on her notes so she could listen to their conversation. 'Sides, Dylan got all Daddy Dylan whenever he spoke to Cambridge, which never ceased to amuse Selina. Listening to a little of their conversation while she scribbled she figured out that Cambridge was indeed lost. Heh. Must be a Gryffindor thing with potions because it seemed that Selina was NOT the only one who was rubbish at it. Well come on, potions was hard and confusing and also temperamental. There was not much to like about the class. At least in her opinion.
And then Daddy Dylan showed up. He was all nice and promised to help Cambridge once he was done with this. The redhead wondered if he knew that she was onto him. He was a nice guy underneath all of that really nice hair that he wouldn't let her braid.
When Dylan returned to Selina, she shot him a knowing smirk about Cambridge and laughed a little, "Going to go and check on her, Daddy Dylan?" She made sure that she said it low enough so that only the two of them could hear, but at least she knew that HE would hear it. And yes, she was making fun of him a little. At the same time, though, she thought it was sweet he was all caring and stuff of Alexa the headache enduser.
Wait, watching who? Oh the Professor? She rose her eyebrow and said, "Um, what do you think?" She WAS after all in this bet to WIN it. Duh.
Pulling her hair back in a quick braid, because all of the ingredients were starting to get gross and she didn't want it in her hair, she watched Dylan move onto the next steps. Yeah, yeah... something else equaled something else. This wasn't Arithmancy, Dylan. She didn't need a number lesson.
Doing as he said, she filled up the cup with the correct amount of Armadillo bile, which was two ounces, and then put it to the side. It was time to spin stuff around. Taking the stirrer from earlier, she began to spin it around counterclockwise as fast as she could. Once that was going full speed, she dropped the bile in there and watched it spin around until it finally got lost in the potion. Then she sat and waited for it to stop spinning around and around, it was sort of fun to watch actually, before she moved onto the next step.
Then she measured out the flobberworm mucus and started to load it into the potion with the wooden spoon. Yeah? Was that right? Well, that was how Dylan did it so she was going to do that.
When she did finally look over at Dylan she noticed that he looked kind of funny. Raising her eyebrow, she was about to ask why until she suddenly got a whiff. Yeah... that was why... ew.
Taking her notebook of perfection, she started to scribble down.

Noxious potion: Sort of an insta-puke potion, which is really disgusting and the fact that it puffs green smoke doesn't help. It also tricks your mind into making you think its noxious. Weird stuff.

Milk
5 Doxy eggs
10 grams of Sulfur
2 ounces of armadillo bile
4 cups of flobberworm mucus
1 cup of whale oil
2 cups of Mountain Troll Dung
1 Lemon's juice
Handful of Poppy seeds
Actual Potion Making:
pour milk halfway in cauldron
five doxy eggs, put one in at a time and counterclockwise spin after each, yo
CRUMBLE UP SULFUR BECAUSE ITS FUN!
Two ounces of Armadillo bile and put it in once the potion is spinning counter clockwise

Dylan watched, incredibly pleased, as his best mate started properly going through the next few steps. See? It wasn't true what she'd been saying. Gryffindors COULD be taught how to do complicated things...like potions...
All was happy in the Captain's world...
...until he seen in which direction she was stirring.

"Skylar....What are you doing?!" He looked at her with wide, frantic eyes as she went about stirring and pouring...like nothing was amiss. Hadn't she realized the huge mistake she'd just made?! "Stop everything you're doing!"
BLINK.
"CLOCKWISE, Selina. I said clockwise!" Yea, the Slytherin wasn't sure what would happen with wrong stirring. He'd never really done it wrong. All one had to do was pay close attention and follow directions, something the Slytherin could be good at, when the mood struck him. Blasted Gryffindor!!!
Taking a few steps back, Dylan quickly decided he was NOT about to get his face blown off for her...Best friend or not. "I suggest clearing it away and starting over..." There was no fixing that, was there?

It was good that Mo hadn't dropped any eggshells into the cauldron, as he had absolutely ZERO desire to fish around in the concoction for bits and bobs. Still, the information on the eggshell was carefully annotated in his notes before he moved on.
Armadillo bile. What part of an armadillo made bile, and how was it categorically different than the bile of any other animal? Mo pondered the aspects of bile as he carefully measured his portion into a new phial and set it to one side. Now for the fun bit! Vigorously stirring. VIGOROUSLY. It said it right there! He stirred the potion quickly, watching the mixture slosh up the sides of the cauldron and drop out of the middle. Only when it was close to spilling over the sides did Mo remove the stirrer and pour in the bile.
As he waited for the potion to come back to a settled stop, Mo returned to his notes and added the part about vigorous stirring with underlines and exclamation points. And stars and balloons and things. He peeked at the potion, noting it had stopped. What was next?
Flobberworm mucus! The stuff was pretty gross, and Mo made faces at the goop in its container. Wooden spoon? Why did it need a wooden spoon? Mo almost asked, ALMOST, but instead opted to shove the goop from its container and into the cauldron.

Even the first years are doing this correctly. You are not to make this potion, you are to watch Captain Montmorency and when this class is over you will report to my potions lab, and attempt it on your own under my supervision!"

"Now add the cup of whale oil from the side, letting it drizzle in slow and low." She said showing them, "Now for the fun part..." She placed a nose clam on. She then sent a basket of them around the room. "Take one and put it on."
She waited a moment and then summoned her jar of troll dumg. "The clamp will help, but it won't mask it all so... try not to throw up in the cauldron."
She added the content of the Mountain Troll Dung jar. If that Branxton kid was grossed out by the mucus, she wondered what would happen with this. "Just add it in as quickly as you can."

Selina was having a grand, ol' time actually making this potion now. Not that she'd ever admit that to him. She got to mess with cool things and spin stuff around and watch stuff change colors like fireworks. The seventh year was totally not on board with potions as a course, it wasn't THAT cool, but it was at least bearable now. At least where Dylan was concerned. He kept her sort of on track because she was easily distracted... by a lot of things. Mostly shiny.
Anyway, as she wrote down the next set of instructions like he had been riding her about, she was suddenly interrupted by a sort of loud yell. She jumped in panic and dropped her quill on the ground. "AHH!" The Head Girl looked around frantically for what had had happened. Instead her blue eyes came upon the sight of a rather put out looking Dylan. Well someone had his wand in a knot. What was his deal?
OOHHHHHHHHHH. She stirred it in the wrong direction. That was rather important, she supposed, or else he wouldn't be freaking out on her like he was currently. Blinking a couple of times, she fumbled, "I thought it was counterclockwise. The last one was counterclockwise!" Well, it was an honest mistake. Besides, she had told him that she was rubbish. What did he expect- smooth sailing?
Right, right. Clear it all way. That was the right way to handle that. She just had to make sure to start from scratch and such, but before she could even do that her potion suddenly vanished from in front of her eyes.
...
And then there was yelling. A LOT of yelling... directed at her.
Now Lafay actually terrified Selina. She was the only Professor who actually struck the fear of merlin in her heart. There was something about Lafay that reduced Selina down to an ickle first year who wobbled in her Mary Jane's. The woman was scary. She actually scared Selina- the only Slytherin who did that, actually. The rest of them were sort of funny or weird to her. ANYWAY, SIDETRACKED!
But then she listened to Lafay and really soaked in her words. The gist of the rant was that she wasn't too smart and it was implied that the HEAD GIRL should be able to perform such potions because first year's could. Well, Selina couldn't, okay? She was never good in this class. That was a DAY ONE thing. Her OWL scores should have been clear enough about that. She was still really sorry about blowing that potion up and stuff in the proctor's face. But the Head Girl thing actually stung. It was not like she was insecure enough about the badge on her chest and her worth wearing it. An ex-captain was Head Girl... that wasn't common. She knew that... and she KNEW what some people thought of her. But to hear a Professor imply it kind of hurt. Or maybe it was just the fact that Lafay was actually terrifying.
Whatever it was she just nodded in a scared and respectful demeanor and then said, "Yes, ma'am. I will be there, ma'am." She just could not be held responsible for what blew up. And then she plopped down in her seat and prepared to watch... well, that was horribly embarrassing.

Jory grabbed he whale oil and drizzled it into the cauldron just as Professor Lafay had shown them. He looked at her. "Fun part?" he wondered. When the basket of clamps reached him, he took one and secured it over his nose.
Despite the clamp, the Puff cold still smell the stench emitting from the troll dung jar. "Gross,'' he thought, trying not to inhale. He got all in as quickly as possible.

Amelia winced at the armadillo bile. It was just not a pretty ingredient at all was it? Bile? Yuck-O. Still she took her pre-measured armadillo bile and carefully picked up her wooden spoon. Spoon in hand she began to stir - and STIR like she was a stircrazy person. Which she was because soon enough her stirring was in effect and the potion was being vigurously stirred in the direction of a clock.
When it was in full spin she dropped in the two ounces of armadillo bile and then just sat there watching the hypnotic spin of the potion. Waiting...waiting...waiting - why was it still SPINNING.
After what seemed like ages the girl finally sighed with GLEE as the potion had stopped spinning. When it had finished she took another clean wooden spoon and carefully scooped and spooned four cups of ictastic flobberworm mucus into the cauldron.

She had been waiting for her potion to quit spinning when Professor Lafay had snapped at Selina and then continued to give the next instructions. She just bit her lip and looked up at the Professor - her throat drying as she heard what was going in next.
Oh pooh. She just wrinkled her nose in disgust and took her nose clamp and quickly - a little too quickly placed it onto her nose. A little squeak of discomfort later she was ready to start with the next step.
She carefully picked up the cup of whale oil and started to drizzle in the oil. Low and slow of course as demonstrated. Her nose clamp was on a little longer than it should have been but it was best to get used to it.
Two cups? WHY two cups? She thought as the stench of Troll dung began to fill the air with its acrid - gag scent.
"Oh god I'm going to be sick" she groaned a whistling sound emanating from her nose as she tried to breath - but breathing only made it worse. She gagged a bit as she quickly dropped it into the cauldron. The scent just seeping out to her covered nose yet again.
The stench was so overpowering that all she could do to stop from throwing up in her cauldron was to turn her head slightly. The contents of her stomach unfortunately finding a new home on the floor, and some unfortunate fellow students and people who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
On the bright side. She felt loads better.

Wade just watched the commotion between the Professor and the Head Girl.. It wasn't pretty seeing someone called out like that. He turned back to his work taking the cup of whale oil he poured it in the concoction letting it drizzle nice and slow and low.. His tongue stuck out to the side of his mouth as he watched it pour.. Yeah, good stuff there.
Wait, fun part? Were they going to drink it now? Oh.. oh merlin. Wade had momentarily forgotten the jar of massive mountain troll dung that sat at a great distance near him so he wouldn't have to be reminded of it. Poop didn't scare Wade, but having something with a strong smell clamped up in a jar... Yeah, this was not going to be like perfume.
Wade gladly accepted the basket taking one clamp setting it on his table before passing it along to the next student. Looking at the jar finally, he drummed his fingers on the table.. He took the clamp setting it on his nose so it would close his nostrils...
Then he seized the jar slowly turning the lid on it's side to open it over the cauldron.. Oh lovely, it was smearing in the inside. Wade looked up before *POP* an overwhelming odor went to him. Closing his mouth and eyes he dropped the mountain troll stool in the concoction backing away quickly as a loud *SPLASH* took place. Merlin, that smelled! Wade set the jar back on the table before kneeling down covering his mouth.. He was not.. going to... *Gulp*

Armadillo bile? Okay. Uh.. that stuff, that looked like bile. So Alice measured out two ounces of the stuff and carefully dropped it into cauldron after stirring her potion in the direction she THOUGHT was clockwise. And, of course, she waited until it stopped spinning and stuff. Then, she began spooning in the flobberworm mucus. 'Cause she had seen what had happened to her Mama Selina and it would be pretty bad if two out of four Gryffindor leaders ended up royally screwing up at potions, yeah?
So she would focus.
For the Head Girl, obviously, not because she was scared of Lafay or anything. Cough.

Alice drizzled in the cup of what she thought was whale oil, being careful to drizzle it in slow and low, just as Lafay had. And then for.. wait, nose clamps? Did troll dung really smell THAT bad? But the Potions professor was probably right, so she stuck the clamps on. Ow. Those things hurt.
And then for the troll dung, dumped out of the jar carefully and.. SON OF GARDEN GNOME, that smelled AWFUL. The nose clamps DID NOT help, nope. The fourth year wrinkled her nose a bit under the clamp as she held the dung out as far away from herself as possible and sloooowly shook the jar out into the cauldron.

She had been waiting for her potion to quit spinning when Professor Lafay had snapped at Selina and then continued to give the next instructions. She just bit her lip and looked up at the Professor - her throat drying as she heard what was going in next.
Oh pooh. She just wrinkled her nose in disgust and took her nose clamp and quickly - a little too quickly placed it onto her nose. A little squeak of discomfort later she was ready to start with the next step.
She carefully picked up the cup of whale oil and started to drizzle in the oil. Low and slow of course as demonstrated. Her nose clamp was on a little longer than it should have been but it was best to get used to it.
Two cups? WHY two cups? She thought as the stench of Troll dung began to fill the air with its acrid - gag scent.
"Oh god I'm going to be sick" she groaned a whistling sound emanating from her nose as she tried to breath - but breathing only made it worse. She gagged a bit as she quickly dropped it into the cauldron. The scent just seeping out to her covered nose yet again.
The stench was so overpowering that all she could do to stop from throwing up in her cauldron was to turn her head slightly. The contents of her stomach unfortunately finding a new home on the floor, and some unfortunate fellow students and people who were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
On the bright side. She felt loads better.
At least she didn't throw up like Mika, though, so that was good.
But that vomit DIDN'T HELP THE PLEASANTRY OF SCENTS AND AROMAS IN THE ROOM, OKAY?
It also didn't help that the Claw had been sitting very near her and had kind of up chucked ALL OVER HER. .. like, seriously? Alice cringed as Mika's lunch and breakfast and past meals spewed out all over her. .. "Um.. help, please?" And Mika was lucky they were FRIENDS or she would have been getting BITTEN right about now.

The Noxious Potion is a potion that emits a green smoke that corrupts the mind into thinking it's poisonous and harmful and icky.
Procedure
- Clean the cauldron.
- Fill the cauldron halfway full with milk.
- Start a low flame.
- Crack each doxy egg.
- Stir once counterclockwise after each egg you drop in the cauldron.
- Take the gems of Sulfur and crumple them into the milk with your gloved hands.
- Stir the potion vigorously clockwise.
- Wait until it is in full spin to drop in the armadillo bile.
- After it stops spinning, carefully add flobberworm mucus to the mix with a wooden spoon.
- Drizzle in a cup of whale oil from the side slowly and lowly.
- Dump in that HORRENDOUS, DISGUSTING, REVOLTING, TERRIFYING, ICKY, NASTY, REPULSIVE dung.
Ingredients
- Milk, to fill cauldron half way
- 5 Doxy eggs
- 10 grams of Sulfur
- 2 ounces of armadillo bile
- 4 cups of flobberworm mucus
- 1 cup of whale oil
- 2 cups of Mountain Troll Dung
- 1 Lemon's juice
- Handful of Poppy seeds
