Directly below the Great Hall is the Hogwarts kitchen, complete with five tables identical to and directly below those of the Great Hall. The house elves are hard at work preparing your next meal but they're always willing to prepare an after-hours snack to those students who are brave enough to tickle their pear.
Be sure to make yourself heard over the din of the many, many pots and pans!

She chuckled and shook her head "Just a bit, I have standards to live up to you know." she took her final bite and pushed her bowl ahead of her "Adorable really? And why dosent that surprise me?"
"You have standards? I've never heard of people having a standard on how they act when they're here." Damon smiled at her and shrugged, "Maybe because you just know me to well."

Tagran down to the kitchens when he and Blue had decided on making plans of having a food pig out date. Ok, not that, but it'd last the whole day-if their stomachs wouldn't explode by then. So as he waited for his one and only favorite skipping buddieh the leprechaun began to do some irish skippingin the mean time.
He was ready to eat till he couldn't no more and have random conversations with Blue. She was funny and had the best things to say to make him laugh. An they had similar-ish personalities so it would not be a boring day at all.

As Tag continued to do his odd skipping, which to him, after staring at himself for a while, looked like he was trying to not jump on spiders he saw Blue coming to him and then hugged him.
Hmm. They'd never hugged before but there was nothing wrong with that. An since she was already hugging him Tag had no choice but to hug her back. But he still would've hugged her if she hadn't in the first place. "Hey Skipping Blue." Tag said excitedly.
The day had finally come for their food date. Not a real date, but since they said it'd last most of the day he considered it a friendly date. No kissing.
"I got our pauffles ready. I guess we can just make the pauffles ourselves. Pancake on Waffle and so on." He continued with a happy grin as he went over to the small table. "Today is gonna be the best day ever!"
Though any day with Blue would be an adventure and a great time.

Damon smirked, then sighed looking at his watch, "I should probably get back to the common room, I have to write an essay for the admissions at Universite Paris I Pantheon - Sorbonne Law School." He rolled his eyes at the idea, but it had to be done.
Adam walked in with Ronnie after she showed him where this place was happily. Yup, as far as this day goes, he was pretty happy. "Sooo what are we making?" he asked, leaning against the countertops cooly. Well, really, what is RONNIE making? Cause Adam didn't want to cook. It was better off if he didn't. . . . Could save lives, y'know, from fires and explosions and his cooking coming to life to eat the world and then the entire universe, leaving every planet caked in what was supposed to be a can of soup.

"I dunno about you, but I'm putting hot fudge and TONS of candy toppings on mine." she said, giggling and giving him a peck on the cheek before going and grabbing two bowls and a tub on ice cream. She placed those on the counter and went and got all the toppings she could find to go on the ice cream and put them on the counter as well. She began scooping the ice cream into her bowl, already super excited to get to eating it.

The Gryffindor nodded her head. "Noodles are delicious, my friends and I used to go to the kitchens every day to get a big bowl of them to eat," Melanie said grinning. She missed eating noodles with her best friends back at Salem. She also wondered if they still went to eat noodles every day... Probably. "But yeah, they're my favorite food along with dumplings." The two tasted amazing together too... hehe...
"Thanks!" BEAM. Ella always felt like her name was kind of plain compared to some others, though her Mom...Well her mom used to say she was named after Cinderella. She actually kind of loved that as a child.
"They were." Nod. "I have a serious thing for ice cream...some might say I'm obsessed." And Ella smiled sheepishly, shrugging her shoulders. Everyone had something they were crazy for, yeah? For Ells it was ice cream. As for the cookies, Ella nodded enthusiastically. "They do! I don't know why but today I'm in a cookie mood." Yup, it was just that kind of day. GRIN. Melanie was a genius, obviously. And after her suggestion, Ella was ready to give the girl a hug. She didn't want to freak her out though, so she settled on bouncing excitedly. "Yeah! That's a brilliant idea! Good thinking." Ice cream and cookies, how inspired!
"Oh yeah, I know my way back. My common room is just down the corridor." And Ella smiled, thinking it was quite lucky that she lived so close to the kitchen. "I could help you find yours after, if you needed me too." She wouldn't mind the walk honestly, and she didn't want Melanie the Clumsier to be lost all day or anything. "No, not too bad at all. I mean... you find a lot of cool places in the castle that way, and meet new people." Both things Ella really enjoyed doing.
"Really?" Huh. So Melanie and her friends were quite like Ella and hers... except in place of noodle, Ella and company usually got ice cream! "That actually sounds like a lot of fun." Because really, when was eating food with friends not fun? "Mmm. Noodles and dumplings." That sounded quite good, actually. "I don't think I've ever had them together."

She went back to her bowl. Something was missing here. Oh! How could she forget? HER HAWT FUDGEEE. She put some hot fudge on her ice cream, then got out some gummy bears, jelly beans, gummy worms, and little chocolates and spread them all over her ice cream. She giggled with excitement, clapping her hands. THIS LOOKED SO GOOD!
But she was not done yet. Ohh nuuuu. Not yet.
She got out a banana, slicing it in half and putting them in her bowl. Then, she put sprinkles on and finally, put a whole bunch of whipped cream on. "FINISHED!" she said, beaming and showing Adam her masterpiece.
Eliza almost tripped over the runner on the floor as she entered the kitchen. Recovering her balance, she continued to follow her nose. I know there's something sweet in here somewhere... She could really use a snack before the next mealtime and muffins were sounded really great. She was surprised at how many students were in the kitchen and was pleased to see a new familiar face.
She walked further into the room, still searching for muffins, and waved at the Hufflepuff girl she'd been partners with in Divination. "Hi Ella!" she called out as she continued her quest.
There seemed to be all sort of foods being made my students, but she'd heard the elves were superb chefs. Cinnamon...or maybe blueberry, NO strawwwberry muffins. Ooo those sound so good... Just the thought of a warm muffin almost made her mouth water. And I'm sure there must be butter somewhere around here too... I wonder if they have brown sugar.... She didn't want to interrupt Ella's conversation with the other girl, but she really didn't know where anything was kept in the kitchen. If Ella had a moment, maybe she would ask her.

Now, back to the cookies making. She headed to one of the counters and checked the jars there. Mmm...What were these things? Then she glanced something familiar. "FLOUR!" She held up the jar triumphantly. And put it aside. "Is that Vanilla?" She asked Dora pointing at another jar? Cassia wasn't sure of what the substance looked like so she didn't want to make any fatal mistakes that could make there cookies taste not so great.
Dora began to gather up all the other ingredients excitedly, it only took her a few glances at the page to memorize the entire thing so now she was working straight from memory. Their part of the table was soon full of all the ingredients, and she started for a empty bowl.
"Disappeared?" Dora looked over at Cassia inquisitive eyes. "Like it was charmed to or you lost it? Or was it stolen?" Did some other snake steal it from her dorm or something? "I've you've got a disillusionment charm on it you might not ever find it. Ever try getting someone to accio it for you?" Since they were still to young to be able to cast something that awesome. Paaause. "You should just get a new one." The second year nodded her head, decision on the matter clearly made.
She nodded her head more as she placed a bowl between them and started adding all the sugar. "Yeah that's vanilla. You wanna crack the eggs? We gotta beat them in one at a time." She added the butter and rose to find that thing to beat them with.

Sarah was CRAVING buttern ut soup. Thinchk creamy butternut soup, tasty delicious butternut soup, warm, steamy butternut soup.... She made her way to the kitchens to see if perhaps the houseelves coul make it for her. It was there that she saw the goings on... Then she spotted some fellow first years. She kind of happened to over hear their conversation, yet feigned innocence anyway...

Moving on! As Cassia entered the kitchen accompanied by Dora. She looked around and nothing seemed to be happening here, no students on ovens or anything out of the ordinary. Just the working house-elves and some hungry students. Oh and the headmistress who was talking to two house-elves. The snake followed the eagle towards the long tables her head facing the floor because Cassia didn't actually want to encounter the headmistress because last time she did on the train it wasn't a very cool first impression Cassia had given. And she hoped that red-headed woman had forgotten about that. She should have forgotten as she encounters so many students every day, true? TRUE.
Back to the important stuff. "Cookies." Cassia answered Dora matter-of-factly pushing her hands into her pockets. The second-year beamed at the other girl, "Cookie and tea are what we need now. You know we've just been experimenting and stuff. " She said grinning. Yup the Snake had already forgotten about any rumor of a battle.

"Oh and I have my wand with me. If we needed some spells" She said patting her pocket. And she wasn't going to tell Dora that she didn;t know many useful spells. Leave it to the girl to find out "Do you?" Surely all students carry their wands ,right? Or was it only the snake.

You need to get a holster, or get someone to get you one."

Sarah strode over to them with a cheerful expression on her face! (Sarah was mostly always happy) "Hey guyz! What are you doing... can I help?". She was ready for action anyway her hair tied back and all and she was not wearing one of her best dresses at the moment. She was not THAT bad at cooking and baking occasionally she was in a baking mood and also sometimes her mom roped her in to help cook. Therefore Sarah knew how to boil eggs, boil pasta, boil potatos, she had made flopped brownies before as well as peannut butter balls and chocolate chips oatmeal cookies.

Good Dora seemed to be knowing perfectly what were they doing. She had gathered most of the ingredient while Cassia was searching for Flour and trying to decide if that was vanilla or not. Which turned out to be correct. Well, at least she found two jars. And about the wand ,hopefully the eagle bought the story. So Cassia decided to nod and agree with anything because she might forget what she told Dora and say something that contradicts with the made up story. She does that. "I haven't asked anyone actually. But I was thinking that I should buy another." Actually she just started thinking about it now.
Then they were starting the practical thing. Cassia nodded eagerly at Dora ,"Yup I can crack the eggs." She have rarely done it. But how hard could it be. She reached for one and tapped it on the edge of the bowl. And she might have tapped it a bit too much causing a couple of drips of the white liquid to scatter on the table. Well, she had clumsy hands. "It always happens with the first egg." She said smiling. You know like she cracks eggs everyday.

Sarah was CRAVING buttern ut soup. Thinchk creamy butternut soup, tasty delicious butternut soup, warm, steamy butternut soup.... She made her way to the kitchens to see if perhaps the houseelves coul make it for her. It was there that she saw the goings on... Then she spotted some fellow first years. She kind of happened to over hear their conversation, yet feigned innocence anyway...
Sarah strode over to them with a cheerful expression on her face! (Sarah was mostly always happy) "Hey guyz! What are you doing... can I help?". She was ready for action anyway her hair tied back and all and she was not wearing one of her best dresses at the moment. She was not THAT bad at cooking and baking occasionally she was in a baking mood and also sometimes her mom roped her in to help cook. Therefore Sarah knew how to boil eggs, boil pasta, boil potatos, she had made flopped brownies before as well as peannut butter balls and chocolate chips oatmeal cookies.
And just when she was about to reach for her wand and clean the table, she heard a voice. A familiar one actually. She looked to see who was it and grinned seeing the second-year Gryffindor Sarah. "Hey Sarah!" Cassia greeted her. "Dora and I are making cookies and yup I think we could use extra hands." She nodded glancing at Dora who was looking for something. She didn't know if Sarah and Dora knew each other or not. "You looking for a whisk? "She asked Dora. "I think I saw one on the shelf to your right." She said.
"Have you made cookies before? " She asked Sarah.

"The cherries?" Ronnie looked around the kitchen. They had to be here SOMEWHERE...hmm...Ronnie walked over to the fridge and opened it and smiled at the sight of the little jar of cherries. She took it out and handed it to Adam. "There ya go!" she said, smiling.
She went back to her bowl. Something was missing here. Oh! How could she forget? HER HAWT FUDGEEE. She put some hot fudge on her ice cream, then got out some gummy bears, jelly beans, gummy worms, and little chocolates and spread them all over her ice cream. She giggled with excitement, clapping her hands. THIS LOOKED SO GOOD!
But she was not done yet. Ohh nuuuu. Not yet.
She got out a banana, slicing it in half and putting them in her bowl. Then, she put sprinkles on and finally, put a whole bunch of whipped cream on. "FINISHED!" she said, beaming and showing Adam her masterpiece.
OHMIGOSH.
THE ICE CREAM. WAS BIGGER. THAN ADAM'S HEAD.
If Adam hadn't known Ronnie well enough to know this was normal, he would've sent her to the Wacky Shack for even THINKING she could eat it. But Ronnie could. Adam nodded his approval and showed off his awesome bowl of awesome with caramel ice cream and caramel pieces and caramel sause...
And a cherry. Cause the cherry made it healthyish. Heh heh....
"TO AWESOME ICE CREAM SUNDAES." Adam clinked his bowl with Ronnie's. THERE. Now he was healthy AND mature. Eating ice cream like a sir! (...Crossed with his sister Hazel... he had caramel all over his chin. )
Good Dora seemed to be knowing perfectly what were they doing. She had gathered most of the ingredient while Cassia was searching for Flour and trying to decide if that was vanilla or not. Which turned out to be correct. Well, at least she found two jars. And about the wand ,hopefully the eagle bought the story. So Cassia decided to nod and agree with anything because she might forget what she told Dora and say something that contradicts with the made up story. She does that. "I haven't asked anyone actually. But I was thinking that I should buy another." Actually she just started thinking about it now.
Then they were starting the practical thing. Cassia nodded eagerly at Dora ,"Yup I can crack the eggs." She have rarely done it. But how hard could it be. She reached for one and tapped it on the edge of the bowl. And she might have tapped it a bit too much causing a couple of drips of the white liquid to scatter on the table. Well, she had clumsy hands. "It always happens with the first egg." She said smiling. You know like she cracks eggs everyday.

I have only made sugar cookies, ginger cookies and chocolate chip oatmeal cookies though, yet that was mostly when my mom was nearby if I ever needed her..." well most times Sarah actually did not need her mother, she was just being a over-perfectionist (something that in other areas she was usually not) and running to her mother everytime an extra drop of vanilla went into the mix and things.

Cassia got her wand out and uttered "Scourgify," Cleaning the table . She hated making a mess of the kitchen when house-elves worked so hard to keep it clean and in order . And besides she liked doing spells especially ones that she could actually do. Which aren't many.
She reached for another egg and nodded a Dora. She tapped the egg lightly on the edge of the bowl cracked it in half making sure not to dirty the table again. Which worked, a bit slow because she was concentrating she then pushed the bowl towards Dora. Was she going to use the whisk now? Or not yet. Then she beamed at Sarah, "Good. Then you have experience. I don't help at the kitchen much." Because my grandmother and mother send me out when they get bored of me babbling. But she didn't say that.
Chocolate candy? Cassia pushed her hand into her pocket and retrieved three chocolate frogs. "I have chocolate frogs!" She announced excitedly. Did it look weird to have candy in her pocket? Surely not. All people had candy in their pockets. And she couldn't spend much time without eating candy. She probably was hyper and excited all the time because of this habbit.
"So Dora whisks and Sarah adds vanilla. What's next chefs?" She asked grinning! Oh they were gonna make so delicious cookies!

Umm what recipe were they using? Sarah was grinning now. She usually hated working in the kitchen but working with friends is different. This was fun... She looked around the kitchen for vanilla and a measuring cup. Procuring both she went back to their workspace to wait for Cassia to add the last egg. Her mom had a strange custom of checking their eggs for bloodspots because eating blood was uchy. Yet these girls did not check their eggs so Sarah though it was just a strange family custom. Chocolate candy instead of chocolate chips. This was not what Sarah was used to yet she went with the flow anyway.

"You don;t have to help in the kitchen? You are soo lucky. I wissh I did not have to help in the kitchen. It is awful. Yet it is MUCH nicer when doing with friends. At home it is not much fun" Seeing that Cassia had added the last egg (she was good at cracking eggs) Sarah held the measuring spoon over the mixture and carefully delidded the vanilla. mmm.... it smelt yum. She then gingerly poured the vanilla into the spoon and tipped the spoon over the batter. This was good. "I usually follow a recipe from a book, so it depends which recipe you are using"
Ronnie grinned as they clinked bowls. She instantly dug into her ice cream, grinning. "YUMMMYYYYYY!" she said, giggling and giving Adam a big squeeze.

Adam laughed as Ronnie finished her ice cream. "I'm SAVORING the caramel awesomeness," he said matter-of-factly. It was TOO GOOD to eat fast.
Ronnie was getting waaaaaay hyper now. Adam was gonna try and hold her down, but it probably wouldn't work anyways... And he was getting a little buzzed too. "I LOOOOOVE CARAMEL!!!"
Presley was starving. She'd skipped dinner to get in some , but she was paying for it now. After listening to her stomach grumble for two hours, she'd finally dragged herself out of bed and down to the kitchens at 2AM. This was ridiculous. It was eerily quiet in the castle at this time of day, and it would be a lie to say that she wasn't freaked out every time she thought she heard something. All this was was grabbing some food and going back to bed. She would have to climb seven flights of stairs to get there, but Ravenclaw tower was safe at 2 in the morning, and the creepy stone basement didn't feel like that so much.

Awarlesta stumbled in, half asleep. She woke up craving cookies and milk and didn't realize she wasn't back home until she was in the kitchen. She froze in place. She wasn't suppose to be here. Her tummy growled in protest. She heard someone shuffling around and held up her wand, "Lumos." Why, it was Presley! She whispered harshly, "Presley?! What are you doing here?!" She looked around frantically.
