The headmistress was kinda in there way but Dora managed to get around her and over to where the long tables where. "No fire." She might have looked a bit disappointed about it, but her mind was still imagining what that kind of fight would have been like and who's side she would have taken.

She was also wondering what the headmistress was doing down here, but that wasn't nearly as fun to think about as a battle in the kitchens.

After the Headmistress showed up at the corridor, Cassia felt easier because you know if any battle was taking place in the kitchen then the woman would solve it, right? And indeed the woman looked like fire just as Dora commented.

Moving on! As Cassia entered the kitchen accompanied by Dora. She looked around and nothing seemed to be happening here, no students on ovens or anything out of the ordinary. Just the working house-elves and some hungry students. Oh and the headmistress who was talking to two house-elves. The snake followed the eagle towards the long tables her head facing the floor because Cassia didn't actually want to encounter the headmistress because last time she did on the train it wasn't a very cool first impression Cassia had given. And she hoped that red-headed woman had forgotten about that. She should have forgotten as she encounters so many students every day, true? TRUE.


Back to the important stuff. "Cookies." Cassia answered Dora matter-of-factly pushing her hands into her pockets. The second-year beamed at the other girl, "Cookie and tea are what we need now. You know we've just been experimenting and stuff. " She said grinning. Yup the Snake had already forgotten about any rumor of a battle.

Dora returned the grin and nodded her head. "Yeah! We so need to refuel after that." She'd had bigger experiments that required much more energizing, but Dora wasn't one to waste a good excuse for cookie and tea eating.

Her eyes wondered then she leaned forward so only Cassia could hear her mostly. "The Headmistress and older students are all hogging the house elves though. I think we gotta feed ourselves. I can make tea. Wanna see if we can make out own cookies?" The second year had never really made cookies, though she'd read about it.

So it would be easy as tea, right? Totally.

Cassia tilted her head towards Dora in order to hear what the girl was saying. "Tell me about it." She rolled her eyes saying this. "Let's just steer away from them. They aren't so cool anyway." Cassia said thoughtfully. Yup she was also convinced that younger students ,especially Slytherin ones, are the coolest and Cassia was generalizing this fact to the Ravvies ones now as well because Dora seemed to have the coolness too.

"Yeah I'm sure it's not hard to be figured out." Cassia shrugged. They could make cookies why wouldn't they be able to? They are cool so they could."I think we should start making the cookies first because tea won't take much time to be made, right?" The second-year looked around her as if looking for a recipe that will suddenly pop up. Well, nothing popped up. "I know that we need flour and butter." She turned to Dora. Cassia only watched her grandmother making cookies but not so closely. Hopefully she could remember the other ingredients. Though they needed to find where House-elves kept them. "Oh and I have my wand with me. If we needed some spells" She said patting her pocket. And she wasn't going to tell Dora that she didn;t know many useful spells. Leave it to the girl to find out "Do you?" Surely all students carry their wands ,right? Or was it only the snake.

"And sugar, eggs and vanilla." She was working from memory, which considering how awesome hers was, wasn't a bad idea at all. But Dora wanted to get these RIGHT so she went straight for the counter that had cookbooks and grabbed one. Then she ran back over to Cassia and flipped through it to the right page. "Granulated and brown sugar. Lets make chocolate chip cookies!" They were the GREATEST.

The second year hopped down off the stool and went to gather up those supplies. "I always have my wand with my, in my holster my uncle got me." She patted her arm, then sent a disapproving glace at Cassia's pocket. "It's not safe to keep yours in your pocket. Could set it on fire or something. You need to get a holster, or get someone to get you one."

Cassia nodded at Dora. She the egg and the sugar were obvious but Cassia surely didn't remember them. And yeah if Dora thinks that Vanilla is there then it is. Then the Ravenclaw went to a counter and grabbed a book? Cassia blinked. She hadn't notice that there were books . Wow Eagles notice those things.Cassia peered at the book when Dora started flipping through the pages. "Ok," She nodded in agreement at the chocolate chip cookies.

On fire? Cassia glanced down at her own pocket feeling that a fire would start any second now! GULP. But nothing happened yet. She retrieved the wand from her pocket because thanks to Dora she now felt like an explosion might erupt because of the wand in her pocket. Holster. Ehh...yeah speaking of."I did have a holster," She admitted. "But I...." How lame would it be if she said she had lost it? She'd look like a child. "But it disappeared!" Cassia said lowering her voice and widening her eyes.....effects you know. Yeah that is so much cooler. "I searched everywhere for it but never found it." She said and that was true. "I saw it in the first day at Hogwarts when I unpacked but that was the last time I had seen it." Did it sound a bit dramatic? Well, that wasn't intended. But it doesn't matter ,what matters that she doesn't look like a child who loses her stuff.

Now, back to the cookies making. She headed to one of the counters and checked the jars there. Mmm...What were these things? Then she glanced something familiar. "FLOUR!" She held up the jar triumphantly. And put it aside. "Is that Vanilla?" She asked Dora pointing at another jar? Cassia wasn't sure of what the substance looked like so she didn't want to make any fatal mistakes that could make there cookies taste not so great.

Dora began to gather up all the other ingredients excitedly, it only took her a few glances at the page to memorize the entire thing so now she was working straight from memory. Their part of the table was soon full of all the ingredients, and she started for a empty bowl.

"Disappeared?" Dora looked over at Cassia inquisitive eyes. "Like it was charmed to or you lost it? Or was it stolen?" Did some other snake steal it from her dorm or something? "I've you've got a disillusionment charm on it you might not ever find it. Ever try getting someone to accio it for you?" Since they were still to young to be able to cast something that awesome. Paaause. "You should just get a new one." The second year nodded her head, decision on the matter clearly made.

She nodded her head more as she placed a bowl between them and started adding all the sugar. "Yeah that's vanilla. You wanna crack the eggs? We gotta beat them in one at a time." She added the butter and rose to find that thing to beat them with.
