Directly below the Great Hall is the Hogwarts kitchen, complete with five tables identical to and directly below those of the Great Hall. The house elves are hard at work preparing your next meal but they're always willing to prepare an after-hours snack to those students who are brave enough to tickle their pear.
Be sure to make yourself heard over the din of the many, many pots and pans!
OOC: Please do not RP for the House Elves! We have a lovely group of actual elves who would love to RP with you if you will please be patient.
Damon chuckled, "There's a difference between a big head and having confidence." He looked down at her another small smile, "Though, I suppose to a slytherin it's a good thing isn't it?"
"It's a very good thing actually." she said with a smirk as she took a bite of her ice cream and getting some on her nose in the process

Landon Hughes walked into the Kitchen, wanting something to eat. He was incredibly confused lately and eating something always seemed to take care of that. He was also supposed to meet James here to talk to him, since obviously talking to Tag won't be the best.
So he took a seat on one of the chairs and awaited James to come as well as an elf maybe. That was he could maybe get a snack while he waited.

James stuffed his hands into his pockets as he entered the Kitchens, looking around in awe. This place was amazing. Maybe he could get some ice cream while he and Landon were talking.
Upon seeing landon, he walked up to him and mock-punched his friend's shoulder. "Yo!" he greeted Landon, grinning.
"It does, doesn't it?" BEAM. The third year was way past worrying about her clumsiness. It was something about herself that she'd accepted and her friends seemed amused by it so-Shrug.
"They are nice!" Ella said with a small smile, her attention turning to the little house elves who appeared to be hard at work. "My housemate and I were down her making ice cream sundaes not too long ago, they didn't mind." And she appreciated that, especially because if she had been turned away she would have been seriously upset. Ice cream sundae time was very important to her. "Yeah...I'm in the mood for chocolate chip, I think. Though...peanut butter also sounds delicious at the moment." EEP! Maybe there were peanut butter chocolate chip cookies! That would be a-maz-ing! Mhm! "Lost?" Grin. "I used to get lost all the time while wandering around the castle." Though the kitchens were easy to find, her common room being so close and all. "I actually still get lost sometimes, when I'm walking around and thinking about things." And she really didn't mind when that happened, always up for an adventure.
"Noodles, huh?" Ella had never had a craving for noodles before, though they were quite delicious. "I'm sure they have some around her somewhere!" Or that they wouldn't mind whipping some up if they weren't super busy. "Is that your favorite food, noodles?" Cause if so, that was a cool choice. Very unique.
Melanie beamed. "Definitely, your name sounds very nice too," Melanie added. Ella was a cool name. It made Melanie want to sing or something... like... Ellalalalalalaaaaa. It must be so much fun saying it too. She wondered if she ought to bring that up? No... she didn't want to be known as that weird clumsy girl.
She looked at the elves. They made good food - Melanie knew that was a fact. And if there was anything Melanie loved, it was good food. "Oooh, those sound delicious," Melanie beamed. She loved ice cream sundaes... they gave you a chance to make your ice cream look extra pretty and delicious. Chocolate chip cookies? "Oh that sounds delicious!" Melanie exclaimed. Like, way good. "You could have cookies with ice cream." Which sounded good too but Melanie needed a proper meal.
"But you know how to find your way back, right?" Melanie asked. Because she didn't which was quite a problem. "I suppose it's not too bad getting lost around the school though..." Mostly because it was a very interesting place with some very nice portraits and stuff.
The Gryffindor nodded her head. "Noodles are delicious, my friends and I used to go to the kitchens every day to get a big bowl of them to eat," Melanie said grinning. She missed eating noodles with her best friends back at Salem. She also wondered if they still went to eat noodles every day... Probably. "But yeah, they're my favorite food along with dumplings." The two tasted amazing together too... hehe...

As James listened, one person came to mind. Anya. It sounded like that situation. "Hold up.....it isn't Anya, is it?" If it was, he was leaving. There was too much drama with Anya. "But I definitely know how you feel, man"

He lifted his head off Landon's shoulder and scooted away from him, wiping his eyes. "You shouldn't have brought it up. You should've known I'd react like this" his voice was quiet.
"Does it embarrass you or something?" Damon smiled at her, "If it does, it shouldn't, I think it's adorable."
She chuckled and shook her head "Just a bit, I have standards to live up to you know." she took her final bite and pushed her bowl ahead of her "Adorable really? And why dosent that surprise me?"

Forget crying over the Anya situation, fresh tears spring up into James eyes at what Landon said to him. He bowed his head in shame. The conversation was supposed to be about landon, but James had turned it back around to himself.
"I'm sorry" his voice was a hoarse whisper again, and he tried to keep his bottom lip from trembling. But he couldn't, and a few tears rolled down his cheeks. "Why don't you go talk to someone who isn't going to turn the conversation to themselves like I did?" he said. He was bringing himself down, something he had promised his family he'd stop doing.
