Animals and creatures of all shapes and sizes make up this topiary garden. From giraffes to bears, erumpents to nifflers, and everything inbetween, why don't you come and relax on one of the many benches?
Just, while you're there, don't forget to pay the topiary some attention. They tend to get a little jealous if you don't.
OOC: Waylon charmed the topiary to move about and do things to draw attention to themselves. Nothing too over the top; they are only topiary. None of these erumpents will be exploding and the dragons won't be breathing fire anytime soon.
I think I will always and forever refer to her as Soapy. :D

"I spent like all last year trying to catch up on all the quidditch rules." Being a muggleborn first year, there was LOTS to learn there. "Do you like quidditch?"

Blink. Blink. Why didn't the girl say her name too? Wasn't that the basics when you introduced yourself? Sophie didn't understand the girl's facial expression either, but just shrugged. "And what is your name?" She asked the girl, like nothing weird had happened.
Sophie chuckled. And the chuckle developed to a laughter. 'Soapy', really? She had never thought of that before! What a funny nickname! "It's 'Sophie', actually, but that was a good one!" She said, not quite understanding the sarcasm.
Soapy... haha! Her name did sound a bit like that!
"Well, I like the outdoors, so I just thought I would walk around a little and meet new people!" Thaat's why she was talking to this weird Slytherin girl! Heh! "What about you? Just sunbathing?" She asked, looking at her. "What year are you in, by the way?"

Learn? Learn what? The boy waited surprisedly, eyebrows raised again. Was she actually teaching him a lesson? After a moment's loss for words, she finally expressed herself. Or more likely, failed in it.
"I laugh." It was her luck if she hadn't seen him laughing at all. The thing was that, he usually smirked... and he found 90% of the people phony. Still, he did laugh.
He didn't have anything to say about the 'weird' comment though, since it was a relative thing and to him, he was acting pretty normal. So what if many of the people were below his IQ level and he either made fun of them or didn't even find them worthy of making fun? And the remaining were just phony that he couldn't stand them. Even Louisa--
