Animals and creatures of all shapes and sizes make up this topiary garden. From giraffes to bears, erumpents to nifflers, and everything inbetween, why don't you come and relax on one of the many benches?
Just, while you're there, don't forget to pay the topiary some attention. They tend to get a little jealous if you don't.
OOC: Waylon charmed the topiary to move about and do things to draw attention to themselves. Nothing too over the top; they are only topiary. None of these erumpents will be exploding and the dragons won't be breathing fire anytime soon.

But Ellie was also very much in the mindset of 'I'm a seventh year and I really don't care what the teachers do to me this term cause it's my last to do anything fun and worthwhile and stuff', so she was seriously considering summoning her broomstick.
Still thinking of his proposal, and Vindictus' reaction, she found herself grinning. "Okay! Why don't we take a seat somewhere?" she asked, lowering herself to the ground right where she'd been standing. It was a good spot. She jerked her head at the boy for him to join her. And then he could hold Bunny. "She doesn't have one....yet....I've been calling her 'Bunny', though." Couldn't go wrong with that.
If... he'd... like to? So did she want him to come along? Because that's what it sounded like to Alec. But Ellie was a seventh year! One of those cool older people! And she was dating one of the coolest people Alec knew! And she was a Quidditch Captain! Why would she want a thirteen year old to tag along with her? "Yeah, sure!" he said, grinning. It wasn't as if he had anything to do right now.
And she couldn't lock him up in a broom cupboard. Nope!
Alec's eyes grew wider slightly at Ellie's reaction to the broom idea. She thought it was brilliant? Really? This. Was. AWESOME! No one who was older than him ever thought that his ideas were brilliant! But her question? That wasn't an awesome question at all. He ruffled his hair, wondering what Vindictus would do if he found out that a seventh year and a second year had decided to fly around on the school brooms. And, as Ellie sort of said, he didn't like people flying the school brooms away from the Pitch. "Very upset!" he said, "But if we find the bush and put the brooms back, he doesn't need to know!" See? It made perfect sense now!
And this was even more surprising! Ellie was inviting him to sit down with her! So they'd have a proper conversation, right? One that wasn't about Quidditch? Because, he got the strange feeling that if they did talk about Quidditch, all the past feelings would come back. So, Alec bent his knees and sat down on the patch of grass near the older redhead. "Hey, that's perfect for your bunny!" he said, "I call my goldfish Skipper because sometimes he likes skipping when he gets excited about food." Random pet facts.
As she hadn’t thought of bringing the sketchbook with her this time, the fourth year decided she should just hang out there for a while. Mhm. That sounded like a good plan. She casually made her way along the pathway, eyeing the topiary animals she was passing by. Good thing the topiary garden didn’t disappear. It became one of Gwen’s favorite places at Hogwarts. With a quick look around, the Ravenclaw was able to spot the lion again. As she made a mental note to remember her sketch, her thoughts were interrupted by a voice sounding somewhere close to the place where she was standing.
Was he talking to her? Gwen drew her attention towards the person that had just said something. That girl from Diagon Alley?‘Guess so’, the fourth year said simply. After all, wasn’t Diagon Alley the place where lots of students met? ‘Hi’, she finally said and gave a small smirk as she tried to remember who he was… Mikey? It was odd enough that the Ravenclaw remembered the name. ‘Right’, the fourth year nodded. ‘How are you?’
Yes! He was right! And a good thing too because if Mikey had gotten her name wrong or the wrong person, he's probably just walk away without saying another word. Which is what he usually did when he got proved wrong or embarrassed. "Okay, good because if you weren't, that would've been really weird and awkward," he laughed. It was true. She'd probably feel all awkward a random boy confused her for someone else. Because Mikey would definitely feel that way too.
"I'm slowly dying," he joked. Well kind of. "My doctor has me on this all organic diet and it's really gross. I need to eat some real food soon," he nodded. Because eating only organic food didn't really make you healthy. It just inched you closer to death. "But how are you? Hopefully better than me,"

Harvey walked out the the Topiary Garden.. a little awkward that he hadnt been here since he returned to school.. even though it had been a month or so since he had returned.. he sat down at a bench and watched all the Topiary moving.. and watched others go about their daily lives.. either hanging out here with friends or just passing through.

Ronnie walked down to the topiary garden, humming as she went. It was a pretty nice day, she really was dreading when the time would come where it got very cold. Sure, she loved snow she just did not like getting cold. She got cold way too easily.
She sat down on an empty bench, looking at a nearby topiary.
Harvey chuckled "Well you arent wrong there mate.. I guess it does" he said as he thought of how he was happy to see her even if it had been some time since they had last seen each other "thats great Justin! yeah she is quite understanding.. she always has been.. I guess if they are that fond of us.. they would very understanding.." he smiled and nodded "thats good.. yeah family stuff.. its always going to be there." he smiled.. yeah there would always be something happening within families.. family life was going to be filled with drama.

Taylor walked into the garden wearing one of her new dresses. She was humming one of her favorite songs. Tay was dancing and twirling. Her blonde curls flared out around her as she danced. Taylor, despite dancing in heels that matched her dress, danced as gracifully as ever. Tay didnt care if anyone hears her sing today. She was in an amazing mood and so she sang freely.

Harvey expected Justin to laugh at that memory.. afterall it was he who was reponsible for such a humor filled memory "Yeah! I agree with ya man! time to show them that! Yeah! Tay stopped and smiled at Damon, "Hey Ash, dont you look nice today." She laughed and kissed his cheek, hugging him. "What do you think?" Taylor spun around, showing off her dress, and shoes.
Tay blushed and smiled, "You are sweet." She nodded, "Anytime." Taylor shrugged, "So so and you?" Tay danced and twirled around him. Taylor accidently tripped, falling toward him.
He quickly grabbed her, "You know... I've lost track of how many times you've fallen around me." He chuckled, not letting go until he knew she had her balance, "But I've been better... Min and I finally got to talk about everything. Though she didn't recognize me at first."
Taylor laughed and stayed leaning again him, "Maybe i am falling for you." She winked, teasing him. Tay smirked, "After all you are cute even though i dont want to date." She stayed close to him. "That is good that you two finally talked... Maxwell and i talked too." Tay gave a half smile.
