He frowned, trying to understand what she meant. "I don't know if you are more than friends with people in general or not," he said, looking carefree. Because really, that was much more understandable from her sentence than what she more likely wanted to mean.
"But if you mean that I made it look like you and I were more than friends..." There was only one explanation to that: Louisa. It was her who probably caused the havoc. Good thing they had broken up. "...I never implied that, Evelyn. It's their problem if they understood so." He shrugged. "If you had any problems with it--I mean, if people annoyed you about it," namely, one Louisa Carter, "I can talk to them."

Magical Higher Institute. But..was he talking about the Ministry of Magic or something else? She didn't know and she didn't want to ask either. She just gave another small shake of her head and continued to look ahead, the annoyance clearly showing on her face.
"Oh, gosh. What are you talking about!? I meant YOU gave the impression that we.." Evelyn waved her arms between them, in case he still didn't understand what she meant.
"..were...you know..more the friends." Jeez. Either she didn't express herself clearly or he was stupid. Again, she went with the latter. This guy was annoying.
But..he finally understood what she said and he said it wasn't his fault which she found really hard to believe.
"Okay, look. Well.." She didn't want to take Louisa's name but..sigh. She couldn't help but stare at him..he was going to talk to them!?
"NO." Evelyn said, surprised. She didn't want him talking to Louisa. Jeez. That would be disastrous.
"I was just curious, that's all. You aren't to go blabbing about this to anyone else, understand?" She bit her lip nervously, waiting for his response.
