 A set of paths link the courtyard to various areas of the grounds. It’s nice to walk along either on your own or with a friend. The trees on either side of the path help to create a light atmosphere. So go on, take your time and soak up the fresh air, heaven knows students need it. | |

The Pathways?! There's a first time for anything.
Exploring was a great way to keep his mind off of Caroline and the occasional Ellie. Though since Caroline popped up he wasn't think about or talking to Ellie as much. He didn't think he was good enough to talk to Ellie anymore since the little...mistake that he made at a certain party that really he shouldn't have went to now that he thought about it more and more. He thought at that moment he should tell Ellie that he was wrong and that they should be friends. He feels like he can tell her everything.
But the whole Caroline thing was different then his Ellie issue. Caroline made him go insane and it was a good feeling odd enough. He wanted to tell her about how he felt about her but he just couldn't because he didn't know if she had the same feels as he has for her. But he kinda knows.
Jasper walked along the pathways and was lost in his never ending thoughts.

With a letter in her hand, the blonde walked up the Pathways reading it. She was outraged. Arranged marriage? What? To who? Some pureblood, stuck up wizard called Noé? Could her parents be that old? Unbelievable. First of all, Emma didn't want to get married just yet and, second of all, she was already in love with Braeden Stonem. Emma dropped the letter on the ground. She certainly wouldn't send an owl back to her parents, for what could she say? The blonde stuffed that letter into her pocket and pulled another envelope from her bag, which was titled: "To my partner in crime. Forever.". Smiling happily to herself, Emma opened the letter and read it eagerly. It was from Alex. Her Alexbear. The one and only! Oh how she missed pulling pranks with him and, not to mention, that adorable smile that appeared on his face. Dallin was celebrating the warming weather by taking a walk. It was a wondrous occasion, it really was. Dallin wasn't wearing a jacket; he was enjoying the light breeze. His mind was elsewhere... across the ocean. He was imagining how nice it would feel to be back home, on the beach. Two more months until that could happen.
He was distracted from his thoughts when he saw someone out of his peripheral vision - he would have run into them in a few more steps. And - Oh. Dallin's eyes narrowed as he recognized the boy. What was his name... Jasper! Yeah. The one that'd been flirting with Ellie. Dal stared at him for a moment, trying to decide if he should walk back the way he'd came or keep walking like he hadn't seen Jasper at all.

Ellie's ex-boyfriend who fell off the face of the planet after they broke up. After realizing she had been staring at Emma with wide eyes, she blinked and shook her head. "It's not his handwriting? But... why would someone pretend to be him?" Ellie asked, glancing at the letter in Emma's hand. She swallowed and paused... "What.. What did he say?" She asked quietly.
The smile returned to her face after a moment though when Emma asked how she was. "I'm really good." She answered honestly. And it had been a long time since she could do that: honestly say that she was genuinely happy. "Everything is going great." She said with a nod and a grin.

" Well he said that he missed Hogwarts and hanging out with me. He also hoped that everything was going all right and said that I should send a letter back to him. Oh, and he told me not to worry about him. Usually he tells me everything about how he has been going. It's so odd." she explained, summarizing the letter with a frown. And when someone told Emma Malfoy not to worry, that only made her worry even more. Oh Merlin.
The blonde Malfoy smiled slightly as her friend said she had been going well. Yay! " So no curse that Dallin has to break? Haven't been sick? That's great!" chirped Emma, becoming her happy self again. " Guess what? Brae and I worked it out. We talked about everything. About Ruby and Caroline." Merlin. That conversation had been such a relief.

Then why in the world did he leave without telling anyone and not say anything after all this time? Ellie nodded slowly. "That is odd... Really." Why write now, too? He had been gone for two years, and suddenly he decides to write Emma? "Are you going to reply?" Ellie asked.
Laughing a little, Ellie shook her head. "Nope, no more curses. I'm healthy now... For the most part." She said, with a little, somewhat awkward laugh. There was still those random memory lapses and blackouts. Those were always interesting. In a bad way. But Dallin was always there for her, so it made things a little easier.
Raising her eyebrows and beaming, Ellie clapped her hands together. Her and Braeden worked everything out? YESSS. "You did?! Oh, that makes me so happy!" She said, excitedly. That must have meant that Ellie's awesome relationship advice worked for Brae. "So you two are good now?" | |
