Harvey looked at her "Well it is good to talk about major problems WHILE taking walks. Walking and talking with a friend. I hope there are no more problems in your life at the moment." he said smiling

Finally! Carter hadn't seen his mate in what seemed like forever... but that was all going to change. Josh had agreed to meet him for a run. It was going to be a much needed run for him. And also much needed time with Josh.

Carter was going to come clean about what had happened with Destiny.

Minerva had left the gobstone game early because she was so embarrassed about how poorly she was doing. She made a mental note to thank Kita and Jasper for saving her behind. That game was so hard, she was going to have to make a stop at the library and take out a book about it. She sat down and crossed her arms upset with herself for doing so bad, but upset that she left like a loser as well even though her team mates probably were thankful she left knowing how bad she was doing.

" Whoa, Whoa honey" William called out. "Why are you so down in the dumps?" William asked minerva." Anything I can so to help?" Willaim asked Minerva. " I think I will just hug you and say everything will be ok" William explained to Minerva, He hugged her.

Josh had not been really outside even though the weather had been way better lately. May was among his favorite time periods in a year as life started to bloom again, everywhere. So, he supposed he had to be in May mood to and start to live again. This run was a good step for that. Exercising had always been something this Gryffindor lion enjoyed and with a friend it had always been better.

Once he was out, it was not hard to find the Quidditch Captain. Or was he supposed to call him ex-captain for his Quidditch life had already ended since he had missed the last match he could ever play a position. Or whatever. ''Hey.'' he called for attention while approaching the other lion. ''Nice day for a good run, huh?''

"Sure is." Carter said with a smile and a nod. It was also a good time to catch up... since they hadn't really had the chance to since Valentine's Day. And Carter had a few things that he should say...

He stretched his legs for a second. "You ready?" he asked bouncing up and down for a second. Because Carter was ready.

Minerva didn't even notice anyone around her so she was surprised when she heard William talking and then hugging her. She let him hug her and she hugged back. "Oh William it's nothing. I just played in my first Gobstone Match and it was horrible. I was the worst one on the team."

Since he had been jogging all the way from the castle to here, the pathways, Josh believed he was already warmed up enough but just in case, he started to perform those streching part quickly. He wanted to have a good run but he did not want to be injured so remembering what had happened with Cassie, he decided not to start without the streching exercises.

''I like this time of the year.'' so he said looking around while streching. ''Birds, trees and sun. The nature is showing itself. I cannot wait till i am back to the farm so i can go back to riding my horse in the forest and find a bit of peace there.'' Once he thought he was done stretching, he stood up and gave Carter a playful punch on the shoulder. Was he ready? ''Of course i am. What are you waiting for? Chocolate bunnies?''

And with the last word he shot forward quickly.

Ellie understood why Emma doubted whether it was Alex or not. But, thinking about it, it kind of made sense. "You know... He did leave unexpectedly. And..." Ellie looked down. "He was really upset." She added quietly. Ellie didn't know if Emma knew what she was talking about, but... Ellie had a slight suspicion of why Alex disappeared so suddenly. And it may have been to do with her.

Grinning at Emma, Ellie nodded. Healthy as can be. And it made it even better that Emma was a wonderful friend. She was always looking out for Ellie; making sure she was okay and happy. And apparently she was ready to hop on her broom and fly to Ireland if she wasn't okay. Ellie smiled at her best friend. "Thank you, Emma. It really means a lot that you care about me so much." She beamed. Emma was awesome. :3

And she couldn't help but grin again when Emma said that everything was fine with her and Braeden. That made her so happy! But, there was still Ruby. Ellie frowned a little bit. She only met Ruby once or twice, but Ellie never really cared for her that much. She didn't seem like a very nice person. And she had a feeling that they would always have to watch out for her. "Well, I think as long as you and Braeden love each other, you won't have to worry about Ruby. And if she ever tries anything again, just owl me and I'll take care of her." She added with a wink. Ellie had been in a couple fights before. And heck, she broke Jasper's nose the other day. She could take Ruby.

When Emma brought up the wedding invite again, Ellie rolled her eyes and laughed. She looked away to hide the blush that was creeping on her face. "Emmaaaa." She said, still grinning. Ever since Dallin saved Ellie's life, Emma had been expecting a wedding invitation. And, truth be told... They had talked about it. But she didn't know if Ellie should tell anyone yet. They were still young... So in her quietest voice, Ellie said, "I'd give it a year or so." And if Emma heard her, she could take that whichever direction she wanted to.

Carter nodded. "Yeah. Too bad that this year it means that we're graduating." Which... was just another new beginning. "Is that what you're doing again this summer?" he asked. It was so weird that after this summer it would be... 'what are you doing forever'?

He chuckled at the punch and took off after his friend. "You know. Chocolate bunnies would be a sight." He'd steal them all!

"So you feeling better?" he asked. He knew Josh had been sick for awhile. Why he refused to see the Healer was beyond him though.

Well...upon hearing those, Josh could not help letting out a deep sigh. Some certain time ago, he had been all sad about the graduating idea but now...his thoughts about that seemed to have completely changed. Of course, he was going to miss the castle in general, the common room and a some people like Lafay but he was also glad that he was going to be away which would help him recover from the broken heart.

''Yeah, mate. It also means we will soon be away facing whatever we have to do after school. But i am really not sure if i'd call that 'too bad'.'' Was that going to be what he was doing next summer? ''I need that break, Carter, i need to relax and find a bit of peace. So, i'll be at the farm for a certain time, no doubt. There i find peace. But after that i am thinking of trying to look for a job. A wizarding one.''

As he ran he kept looking forward even though he was talking to his friend however the comment about chocolate bunnies made him chuckle a bit and eye Carter back. ''Sight? No doubt they'd be tasty. But i'd prefer calling other things 'a sight'.''

And he was slightly distracted while thinking about and imagining those sights yet Carter's question helped him get back to the real world. ''Yeah. Yeah. Better and this, i hope, will do me good. What about you anyway? You'll start with your team immediately after school? Everything is done and ready?''

Carter nodded. Everyone needed a break every once in awhile. He... just didn't have that luxury. As soon as school was over he was saying goodbye to his family and heading straight into training. "You'll keep in touch, of course." He wasn't sure if that break he was referring to included all things magical. Things like quidditch.

He chuckled. "I meant it would be out of the ordinary. Perhaps we should owl the chocolate frog people and offer them our idea. For a price of course."

"Oh good. Kurumi said she had to spoon feed you the other day." he said relieved that his friend was feeling better. "What was wrong? The flu?" he asked. Carter still thought he should have seen the healer right away.

"Me? I'm... good." he said slowly. "Just been... uhh... hanging out with Destiny." That was close enough to bring up that issue, right? "Yeah. I'll have a day or two to say goodbye to the family. Then I'm packing up, moving in, and starting." He nodded. "Yup. Everything is signed. The team and the flat are just waiting for me." He chuckled nervously. "Crazy, huh?" They'd been friends for 7 years. He couldn't believe that soon they'd actually be taking separate paths.

" Well, I aam glad it is nothing" William told Minerva. " Do not worry, it was only your first match and you will get better at Gobstones" William explained to Minerva. " By the way, I can't even play Gobstones" William said to Minerva.

Minerva smiled "Well I think that might have been my only match. I was very frustrated and horrible. You should have seen it. If the two seven years wouldn't have come to the rescue it would have been a mess. Ravenclaw still stayed ahead of us." The frustration was still there.

" You can't get down on yoruself" William told Minerva. " You have to go back at least one more time to try Gobstones" William said to Minerva. " You will know how good or bad you are in Gobstones, but I have all the faith in the world in you" William explained to Minerva.William hugged Minerva tighter.

Minerva just fell into the deeper hug and smiled slightly. She was glad she had William to lean on.

" I hope I am not didtracting you in HOM class" Willaim told Minerva." you seem pretty out of it in class" William said to Minerva. "Anything wrong?" William asked Mineerva.

After a nice, long, and dreamful night, Jordan decided to head up to the pathaways. He loved just getting up and exercising, whether it was walking or running.

Keep in touch?

''Well...of course. With anybody who would like to do so.'' Yes, he was probably going to be busy with all the farm work and people there but he was not going to just forget his wizarding friends. Actually, it would be nice to be in contact with them as well. He knew the woods alone was enough for him to relax so being in contact with some wizarding people would not hurt.

Considering this in mind, the lion boy absent mindedly nodded at the chocolate bunny talk. Then the idea just slowed him down a bit...because it was completely...weird and he had actually nodded at it. ''Very smart, Carter. Tell them the idea for a price and they won't give you anything. Then they'll just take the idea and use it since they know for what you asked that certain price.''

Wait? What was the point of that? No one was going to offer chocolate guys any bunnies idea. Well...at least it was not going to be Josh Carter. Heh. As much as the chocolate bunnies, he did not want to talk about the getting sick part, either. Since...well...Josh Carter did not really get sick. That was embarrassing. Especially the being spoon fed part. ''Yes, yes.'' so he tried to pass it over as he fastened his pace a bit ''Flu, cold. Whatever you call it. It was nothing. I am fine.''

This topic had better be avoided so it seemed he was going to be successful about it since it was now Carter's turn to tell stuff about himself. However when he heard that...that he had been hanging out with Destiny...Josh suddenly stopped running and stared at his friend. ''What do you mean 'hanging out'? Is she your new girlfriend?''

The part about his quidditch team could wait for now.

Carter nodded. "Then you can expect owls from me." Hopefully he'd have more exciting things to tell his friend other that 'I had practice today... match is on Saturday...'. He made a mental note to have an exciting life.

He chuckled. "You're right. Perhaps I should just buy some muggle chocolate bunnies and charm them? I'm sure I could make a killing on those." And... if not... he could always give them to Destiny.

"Well. I'm glad to hear it. I was tempted to go grab the nurse for you... since you refused to do it for yourself." But... if he was better now there was no need.

Carter, too, stopped running when the conversation turned to Destiny. He ran a hand through his hair. "Yeah. I think so. I mean. I'm not really sure what happened. One second we were arguing. The next I tell her I want a dog and she says she wants a robot... and we shake on it."

He sighed. "I have no idea what I was thinking." In fact, he probably wasn't thinking.

He was going to owl him. Of course, Josh was going to appreciate that. So, he nodded. Then he'd buy chocolate bunnies, bewitch them and try to be a competitor to the chocolate frogs at the market of animated and animal shaped chocolates. Josh'd appreciate that too. It was not a bad idea and the other lion boy might even have the chance to make money besides his quidditch. So, he nodded again.

But...being with Destiny!!!

Josh was definitely NOT going to just nod at that. And the more words Carter voiced about it, the more his dark brown eyes got narrowed.

''You want a dog and she wants a robot...great'' Just...great. Letting out a deep annoyed breath, the boy tried not to glare at his friend. Therefore he looked around, heatedly, just looked around and not at Carter so he'd not do anything wrong out of sudden anger. Yet then with Carter's last words, he could not hold it and just exploded.

''YES! FINALLY YOU GOT ONE THING RIGHT!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE DOING. A DOG AND A ROBOT? WHAT ARE YOU?? SEVEN YEAR OLDS?''

"Oh no it's not you. I just can not believe I missed looking up that saying in my notes. I have never missed a class assignment. I was just really disappointed in myself. Plus I really don't feel that professor likes me. In the last few classes there has been times where he comes across as if he doesn't seem to like me."

Carter blinked. Now probably wouldn't be a good time to mention that he also wanted a tap dancing suit of armor. "What? You've never wanted a dog?" he asked.

Okay. That wasn't the point, and Carter knew that. He threw his hands in the air. "I know I have no idea what I'm doing!" he exclaimed. "I just have no filter around her. I see her and it's like - BAM! - instant brain loss."

And recognizing that was... a step in the right direction... right?

"I have no idea what to do Josh. I should... just end it, shouldn't I? Before we go and blow something up."

Plus. He had no idea if he even liked her. He'd leave that part out though. He needed Josh advice, NOT Josh punches.

The moment Carter had said that...that question about dogs again, Josh had the sudden urge to go and beat something!! How on earth his friend managed to be so...naive. Yes, he did not want to be using any bad words for his best friend so just...naive. Giving him a glare, the lion suddenly turned away walking angrily to a nearby tree to punch it.

And when he did, it did really hurt however the boy did not show any react about it. To be honest, it was like he was so heated that he did not even feel it.

Breathing in and out deeply and repeatedly, Josh tried to calm himself down repeating in mind how he was told to control his anger. He needed to just calm down and listen to him. Calm down. Being angry was going to do no good to anyone here. So, he took those deep breaths trying to calm down and listened to Carter as he spoke.

At least now he was speaking more sense and that part about him losing his mind around her. It was no good news. Not at all. Because Josh felt like that around only one person. After letting out the last breath, Josh looked up, back at Carter. No glaring, it was just a...look. Brain loss around a girl could only mean one thing. That was according to Josh's own experiences of course. He did not know if it could be different with Carter, since he barely had any brain to lose. But wait...he did not want to be unfair to him. Surely he had a brain and there was surely a reason that he tended to lose that little bit of brain around Destiny.

So...should he end it?

''Look, Carter...'' Josh finally spoke and surprisingly with a calmer tone. ''...i cannot tell you who you should be with. But you need to know and realise what this is about. What relationships are about. No relationship is about dogs and robots. What does that tell you?''

Looking back at the tree he had punched for a moment, the Gryffindor sighed and walked back to his housemate. ''Destiny is my friend too. But you cannot trust her with this. It is like she is...teasing you. Those Slytherins. You cannot trust them, Carter. None of us can. I am not saying that they are bad. I still...love one of them after all. We just cannot trust them with this because they are not like us. You can never tell if they really love you and even if they do; love is never their priority in life. They are not like us. How they would please themselves in life always comes first for them. Not anyone else just themselves.''

Those were hard to say but he believed that he lived and experienced them so he was feeling like he had to warn his friend. ''I am repeating it, i am not saying that they are bad. People are different and this is...how they are. Maybe you really like her, but just bear this in mind; You will never be her priority in life. Do not make the mistake of seeing her your...only source of happiness. Always have something else somewhere to make yourself feel better without her. Do not make her your whole life. I don't want my friend to be...''

*SIGH*

''...like me.''

Carter blinked as Josh punched a tree. Okay. So... Josh must have never wanted a dog. In fact... he must be super against dogs.

O_O Look at that face. Josh must hate dogs.

He blinked. "I never said they were about them. I just said they came up..." Had Josh and Evelyn not talked about things they'd always wanted? What did it tell him? "Umm... that Destiny watches too many muggle movies?" He didn't really see the point in that question being asked.

He frowned. He shouldn't trust Destiny? He'd never had any issues with her before. Well... minus the love potion... and when she got stuff on his badge even though she promised she wouldn't... and when she lied about being able to make a hair potion... He blinked again. She was teasing him? Why would she do something like that?

SWEET MERLIN! O_O Who said anything about love? He was not in love with Destiny. And Destiny was not in love with him. She wouldn't even admit that she liked him.

O_O Sweet Merlin! She was trying to tease him!

Carter was about to express that he wasn't sure how he felt about her when something distracted him. "Like you?" he asked. "What do you mean? What happened?"
