Dallin was celebrating the warming weather by taking a walk. It was a wondrous occasion, it really was. Dallin wasn't wearing a jacket; he was enjoying the light breeze. His mind was elsewhere... across the ocean. He was imagining how nice it would feel to be back home, on the beach. Two more months until that could happen.

He was distracted from his thoughts when he saw someone out of his peripheral vision - he would have run into them in a few more steps. And - Oh. Dallin's eyes narrowed as he recognized the boy. What was his name... Jasper! Yeah. The one that'd been flirting with Ellie. Dal stared at him for a moment, trying to decide if he should walk back the way he'd came or keep walking like he hadn't seen Jasper at all.
