Emma shrugged her shoulders and folded up the letter slowly. "I don't know, but that's what bugs me.," she frowned slightly, before continuing. "Well he said that he missed Hogwarts and hanging out with me. He also hoped that everything was going all right and said that I should send a letter back to him. The blonde Malfoy smiled slightly as her friend said she had been going well. Yay! "So no curse that Dallin has to break? Haven't been sick? That's great!" chirped Emma, becoming her happy self again. "Guess what? Brae and I worked it out. We talked about everything. About Ruby and Caroline." Merlin. That conversation had been such a relief.
Ellie watched Emma and listened curiously as she talked about what Alex had said in the letter. Or maybe whoever was pretending to be Alex? ...That seemed odd. He missed Hogwarts and hanging out with Emma? Then why in the world did he leave without telling anyone and not say anything after all this time? Ellie nodded slowly.
"That is odd... Really." Why write now, too? He had been gone for two years, and suddenly he decides to write Emma?
"Are you going to reply?" Ellie asked.
Laughing a little, Ellie shook her head.
"Nope, no more curses. I'm healthy now... For the most part." She said, with a little, somewhat awkward laugh. There was still those random memory lapses and blackouts. Those were always interesting. In a bad way. But Dallin was always there for her, so it made things a little easier.
Raising her eyebrows and beaming, Ellie clapped her hands together. Her and Braeden worked everything out? YESSS.
"You did?! Oh, that makes me so happy!" She said, excitedly. That must have meant that Ellie's awesome relationship advice worked for Brae.
"So you two are good now?"
