"You're welcome." she grinned at him. "Yeah, Stupefy, the stunning spell. Or you could try Immobulus." She explained. "The wand movement is just a point, watch." she pointed her wand at the nearest pixie. "Immobulus." and another. "Stupefy."

Lana felt someone grab her leg and looked down. It was an older boy. "Thank you!" she said although she wasn't quite free from those pesky pixies. He tried to pull her down, but those darned pixies just wouldn't let go. The boy then grabbed on of her left arm. Okay, just hit them, no spells he says. She thought to herself repeating what he had said. She nodded and tried to swat the pixie on her right ear with her right arm. She felt like she kept hitting for forever, but it finally let go of that ear. Too busy trying to get rid of that pixie, she didn't realize if he had gotten rid of the other one.

Kimalia deposited the cap into her jar ready for the next one. Turning back she saw on the next toadstool.. Pixies were trying to carry it away. "That's mine!" Kimalia grabbed onto the stem of it, forgetting she should probably be using her wand for this. Another tug-of-war commenced between Kimalia and three Pixies.. Who would win?

Tug-Tug-Tug-Tug-Tug commenced between them, Kimalia however had an idea. She moved away whilst holding the toadstool. She looked at the angry Pixies who were not showing signs of weakening, then Kimalia turned the stem of it watching the Pixies try to turn the cap the opposite direction.

After a few more pulls *Pop* The Pixies went flying, but Kimalia was fast. She pointed her wand at the fleeing Pixies. "Immobulus! Stupefy! Immobulus!" They all froze dropping the cap. "Wingardium Leviosa." Kimalia pointed at the falling cap and guided it into her jar with a satisfactory smile.. One more to go!

Just two more to go. Desiree started twisting the cap on the peppermint toadstool, when suddenly two particularly mischievous pixies swooped down and grabbed her first cap. "Hey, give that backk!" she called as they began to fly just out of her reach tossing the cap back and forth like a ball. This time she didn't need help. She pointed her wand at the first one "Immobulus!" and the second "IMmobulus!" They both froze and Desiree walked up and snatched the cap out of their hand Serves you right Pixie:0 Desiree: 4 She walked back to her mushroom and repeated the process of twisting off the cap, this time without interruption.

Kennedy claimed residence under a table. He was NOT going out there again. This was a war...between innocent students and demon pixies. He held his wand tight against his chest and prayed that no little pixe would spot him there. He saw Aurora helping a guy with his glasses. Gosh, this was so embarassing. He, a tall fourteen year old hiding while a third year was out being a hero. Seriously, Escalante.

As his green eyes roamed the chaotic room they landed on his messenger bag. But, what made him quirk an eyebrow was when his bag began to...MOVE?! As far as he knew his bag never moved. "No, no, no, no!" he mumbled as he semi crawled-walked to his bag. "Get out of there!" That thing was going down...DOWN I tell yah.

Kennedy pulled his bag from the strap while the pixie pulled the other end. "You shouldn't be touching things that aren't yours!" he scolded the pixie, but it didn't listen. Instead it pulled harder.

That's it!

The boy pointed his wand at the pixie and frowned. He didn't want to share his bag with it. "Stupefy!" The pixie froze in mid-air and fell to the ground, letting go off Ken's bag. He walked over to it and knelt beside it. "I was never good at sharing," he smirked. His behavior was odd. He picked up the pixie and twisted off the top.

He dropped the pixie and went to deposit the second top.

Now, what other little demon wanted to mess with him, eh?

Penny had deposited the first cap into the jar and went to find a second 'stool' to de-cap...

Walking along, she kept her eyes alert for movement of the pixies - determined to find a 'stool' unprotected.

She stopped at a length of bench which looked quiet.... the pixies seemed to have swarmed into the middle of the greenhouse, where most of the students where situated..

Taking a deep breath, her wand in it's wrist holster, she began twisting the cap of a particularly nice looking toadstool... and then out of nowhere a pixie came flying through the air, directly for her face...

"Oh no you don't dude, I don't wanna hurt you but...", she cut off because the pesky critter had landed on her shoulder and was pulling her ear - like he wanted to pull it off her head....

"Dude, DON'T DO THAT, that's sore.", looking around making sure that there was no-one behind her, Penny withdrew her wand and aimed it at her left shoulder...."Immobulus"... He froze where he stood on her shoulder, the tip of her left ear still in his pesky little fingers.

Lifting him off her, she laid him on the table and finished removing the cap... making sure she had her wand back in its holster, she went up to the jar and deposited her second cap....

"Wow, this is hot work", wiping more sweat from her brow, Yes she was sweaty and dirty and now thirsty too, but also pleased.... 2 down one to go !!!

Jayden approached the boxes; she had already conquered the biting toadstools, so pixies were going to be an easy task. Or so she had thought, she reached for one of the toadstool caps, and then…everything was chaos! “Agghhhh! Get off of me! Someone, anyone… help me get it off!” Jayden cried out, two of them were in her hair, pulling and tugging, and a third one was pushing her backwards, its tiny hand on her forehead. It might look small, but it definitely could exert some force when it wanted to. She swatted at the pixies, but they weren’t giving up. “Ouch! Arghh!” She shrieked, still attempting to ward them off.

Wooooaaah, an older girl wanted her help, HER HELP! Faven was so excited, even if it meant she had to go back into the pixies, she was helping!!!! "I'll get right on it!!!" Faven back at the girl happily, already running towards the toadstools.

Using her small size, Faven snaked inbetween other students fighting off pixies and managed to get a hold of a toadstool. With a few well placed Stupifies, Faven managed to pop off the top of a second toadstool. Wincing just a little as she felt a tug on her hair, Faven whipped around too see two pixies yanking with all their might on her hair. "Immobulus!" Faven yelled at the pixies, aiming right for them. Hadn't the older girl said she would make sure Faven wasn't attacked by pixies??? Both pixies seized up and fell into her outstretched palm. Setting them down daintily. Faven ran back over the the Slytherin. "I...got...the second....one," she said inbetween jagged breaths. She handed the cap over the the girl, not sure if she was supposed to put it in the box or if the girl wanted to do that.

This was like Quidditch, only she was the one player on the opposite team versus a full on army of Pixies. She quickly went and twisted the cap off the last Toadstool, bringing her total of 3 caps complete. Yes! Kimalia pumped her hand in victory holding the closed jar in air.. Making it free for the Pixies to take.

"Um, no!" Kimalia pointed her wand at the fleeing targets when another one attempted to grab her wand. "Immobulus!" Bad move Pixie, it had tried to grab it at the shooting end, letting it take full blast of it.

"Immobulus! Stupefy!" Kimalia pointed her wand directly at the Pixies carrying it. They froze allowing the jar to fall, but another Pixie took hold of it. Kimalia aimed again. "Stupefy!" This time she took possession of the jar, and started to make her way to the deposit box as quickly as possible. She could hear the Pixie's war cry as she started to unscrew the jar making her run. Finally she arrived at the box and wasted no time in dumping the caps before turning to face seven Pixies with her wand extended towards them. "Immobulus! Stupefy!" Kimalia was done with the collecting and scoring but now it was time to defend.

It was a tug of war-- Head Boy versus little Pixie. The creature was squeaking louder than ever and started to drag him forward. He dug his heels and was trying to yank his whole arm back when the Pixie suddenly went down. And so did he.

Landing on his bum, the peppermint toadstool bonked him on the head as it fell from the unconscious Pixie. He looked up and saw the young Hufflepuff "Nice aim. Thanks!" he grinned as he slowly picked himself back up. He gave the Pixie one last annoyed glance before tossing it aside then pocketed the toadstool. Yeah its safe there uhuh.

He approached the 2nd toadstool again, and justr has he hand hovered over another toadstool he turned his head when he heard an odd smacking sound. Destiny was smacking the blue out of the Pixie with a toadstool. Now theres something you dont see everyday heh. Then he saw Evelyn taking aim at the Pixie. And anyone will know, if Evelyn aims at you with her wand-- your going bye bye.

At this point his hand was hovering over the toadstool for too long and another infernal blue creatures took the chance to lunge for his sleeve. It started to tug, TUG his arm upwards and backwards, forcing him to grapple-slide on his heels. "Heyyyyy!!!" he growled infuriated, struggling for his arm and for better footing. How is he ever gonna get anything done this way pesky vermins!

A pixy grapped Maddy's Dragon hide gloves. " AaaaaaaH , get it of get it off!"

She was playing tug-o-war with the pixy and her glove "These things are stronger then they look!"

Arround ten more pixies joined in. Maddy swung hard and the pixies were flung across the room. "Lookout below!" Maddy yelled as the pixies headed straight for some people's heads. "Hope no one get's hit".

Sarah, realizing that it would be a bright idea to put on her gloves after that nasty pixie bit her, did so before she moved on to her third, and final, toadstool.

"Alright, you nasty little blighters," she hissed to the two pixies hanging around the next toadstool. "I'm going to harvest this thing, even if it means knocking you out like that last one," she jerked the bitten, but now glove-clad, thumb in the direction of the pixie who had hit the wall.

Glaring at the little blue demons, she twisted the cap of quickly and dropped it in the jar.

"HA!" she taunted, "Ha, bloody, ha."

The first pixie glowered at her, but neither of them seemed inclined to attack her. Yet.

As she was done, she simply stood there. Watching them. making sure they didn't murder her as soon as she turned her back.

Will nodded as the Slytherin girl gave him two spells to counter the Pixies. He was rather thankful, for those Pixies were evil. He only had one more parsol to go, and he approached another one, wand in hand. But before he could even touch the peppermint striped parasol, three Pixies came out of nowhere. They were flying right towards him.
"Aghh!" Will cried, flailing his arms to shield his face. He pointed his wand at one of the Pixies. "Stupefy!" he yelled. A small streak of red light exploded from his wand tip, but it seemed too weak to do anything to the Pixie. He tried once more, but again the spell was too weak. "Immobulus!" he cried. One of the Pixies fell to the floor. He jumped up and tried to run at the parasol, but the other two grabbed him by his shoulders and lifted him off of the ground. It seemed his immobilizing charm was too weak as well, for the Pixie that had fallen had gotten up and was helping the other two Pixies. Will, in his frenzied panic to escape, dropped his wand somewhere on the damp, dirt floor. Once again, he needed help.

"You are oh so welcome!" Faven yelled back over at the girl....she thought she had heard her called Desiree.

Faven saw yet another classmate having a hard time with the pixies, by this point in time, Faven had become a master at handling the little monsters. "Stupify, Immobulus, Stupify!!!" Faven shouted, pointing her wand at the pixies, as one by one they fell. "If they attack again, either physically hit them away or use Stupify or Immobulus! They all work brilliant!" Faven told the girl.




"Your welcome," Faven called out at the boy, while continuing to stun and freeze the pixies that seemed to have taken a liking to him. "Stupify, Immobulus!"

Kimalia was sure the army of pixies was defeated after sending a dozen Immobulus and Stupefys. She could hear a little girl nearby needing some help though.

"Oh! Hey! Don't move too much!" Kimalia knew that wouldn't be possible iwth a tug-of-war but she gave it a try at aiming at the evil Pixie. "Stupefy!" The Pixie flew off the glove. "You got that right they're strong." Kimalia decided to give her some tips. "Just point your wand at them like you mean it and shout a Stupefy or Immobulus." Hopefully the little girl could do it under the pressure.

So they had to harvest Peppermint Striped Parasol this wasn't going to be too hard now was it? Nessie walked over to the caps and got ready to get working. She noticed some people had already started and most of them seemed to be ahving some trouble with Pixies. She spotted a good looking cap and carefully she took it by the top and twisted it off. "Theres no Pixies" she said to herself..she didn't get why everyone was freaking out so much.

Just as she was about to go and put the cap away a Pixie appeared. She looked at it not exactly knowing what to do. The Pixie wasn't really doing anything it just stared at her with cute puppy eyes. "Awww this Pixie is soo..cute" but just as she said the word cute the Pixie flew right at her and took hold of the cap. In shock she did her best trying to pull back but there were more and more Pixies coming out grabbing onto the cap and she couldn't pull much longer.

There was something touching her ear she was almost sure of it. She grabbed the cap away from the Pixies and started heading for the box again, but then she felt a painfull pull on her ear. It was a Pixie trying to pull her back , another Pixie came and took her other ear. Trying not to scream she kept hold onto her cap. She felt her feet lift up from the ground. "Please don't do this" she whispered to the Pixies she was really starting to freak out now. She was off the ground and up in the air being carried by a bunch of Pixies. "SOMONE HELP!!!" she shouted. She didn't know how to stun them and there was nothing she could do.

Eeeeek!

Another one was on her! It was going to bite her shoulder! It was.. only Evelyn's hand. Mentally sighing in relief, because the one twisting and pulling her nose was enough, Destiny tried her best to stay as still as possible. It was really, really difficult, considering how much PAIN she was in. "Hurrrrrry." she mumbled, maybe letting a pixie foot slip into her mouth once or twice or three times. Evelyn probably should have warned her about talking. After all, she DID save the Head Girl's LIFE.

Her eyes shut tight and she lowered her arms as Evelyn pointed her wand. If she missed.. well, Destiny did not want to see the spell coming for her. She heard the incantation, but her eyes stayed shut. Even after she felt the pixie let go. They were shifty little things.

Luckily though, the pixie really was immobilized, and when she did finally open her mouth, she gave the pixie a final slap with the toadstool cap, watching as it floated far, far away. She taught him or her a lesson! "That wasn't so bad."

Lies! And only one more toadstool to get.

But, before Destiny could even reach for another toadstool, she noticed Sal from the corner of her eye. She was actually glad that she wasn't the only one having trouble with the pixies and what made the whole thing funnier was the fact that it was happening to the Head Boy. Yeah.. she might have been hoping that a pixie would steal his badge..

..then she would steal it from the pixie. Then SHE would be Head Boy. It would look lovely right next to her Gryffindor Captain's badge.

She had all intentions of helping him, really, she had.. but she was too slow. Not on purpose of course. Nooo, Destiny Shepard would never be slow on purpose.

Hehe.

Only one more to go. Desiree now considered herself an expert at harvesting peppermint toadstool caps. She reached for the last one and twisted it off. She waited a minute.. This is when the pixies usually attack. Nothing, maybe they'd had enough. She walked up to place her three caps in a jar when she saw Maddy "Hey Maddy-" she stopped short as she saw nearly five pixies being flung towards her. "Ahh!" She quickly ducked just before they would have hit her. Well that was close she thought walking up and calmly placing her caps in the jar like she hadn't just been taken out by pixies. Final score Pixies:0 Desiree:5

Just as she was heading back to help Evelyn get her third cap she heard a girl call out for help. "Use Immobulus and Stupify!" Faven shouted at the girl as she ran past. You wouldn't know Faven was a first year by the way she had ended up helping so many others. No wonder her aunt had told her she sensed a powerful witch in her!

Eyes narrowing at the flying fiend, Ivory carefully untangled her shoelaces from each other and stood up one hand rubbing her tail bone. Oh boy, that was gonna make sitting a pain.

Her gaze following the blue form fluttering around, she brought out her wand. It seemed the little devils weren't going to let her uncap these parasols easily. She hadn't wanted to stun them but it seemed that she'd never finish the activity if she didn't. And they did have permission after all.

Gulping down her guilt at what she as about to do, she took careful aim following the little creature until he paused for a moment to stick its tongue. Bingo.

"Immobulus." The stream of light shot from her wand hitting the pixie squarely in its little chest. Rushing forward, Ivory's hands shot out catching the small creature safely in her hands before it could drop down to the floor. Laying it down gently in the bed of mushroom, leaning against one of the larger parasols, she chided softly. "I'm sorry. Truly. Just hang tight, you'll be up and zooming before you know it."

Even as she spoke, she reached over to delicately twist the cap off one of the nearest mature toadstool. Adding it to the growing pile in the cardboard box, she looked around for the another. The pixies on alert now that one of their own was currently lying motionless were darting from parasol to parasol. Merlin, this might be harder than she thought.

Louisa was staring in disbelief. Were they actually studying toadstools? As in…frogs' seats? She kept her face blank as she listened and scribbled down on her parchment some notes. And when it was time to identify a toadstool, Louisa sat back on her seat, uninterested. She kept an eye on the plant or seat to show that she was paying attention - no interest doesn't mean to be careless about knowledge. Not for her, anyway.

Biting...? O__o Okay, she was going to stay away from that thing, thank you.

Fangs? Gulp.

Why was the Professor acting so happy about it? It was a good thing the Bentley was a great professional teacher with nice skin, Louisa would've had a whole different opinion on the lady.

Oh and guess what... they had to HARVEST the fangs. Louisa blinked. Several times until she made sure that her dragon hiding gloves were not asked for the sake of herbologist-like uniform.

..wait what? They were going to numb 'the frogs seats' out? What about the students fingers? Didn't those need to be numbed as well? What if some of them did have delicate fingers? Louisa, absently, looked down at her gloved hands and moved them a little. Maybe when the biting toadstools wouldn't bite when they were numb... please?

Louisa wrote down the spell and started muttering it, "Vir- Viro Torpo...Viro Torpeo...Viro Torpeo...Viro Torpeo..." Yep, that pretty much covered it. Wow, she was getting better at repeating spells. Her fourth year did start with an optimistic week - her social life aside, of course. Then came the movement part, she started doing the easy jabbing movement while her mind wondered what'd happen to the frogs' seats if jabbed.

And it was action time; Louisa pointed her wand at a toadstool, "Viro Torpeo." Very clearly and rather too loudly. The creature went limp. Louisa squinted her eyes at it, bringing her face so down to the plant and nudged it lightly. Nope. Nothing. Not that she knew what it would've don had it not been numbed, but it was the typical test to numbness...no?

Moving on, she took a grip on the cap, carefully placing two fingers on one tooth and YANK! the cap was squeezed tightly involuntarily but the tooth was out. The girl, with a VERY smug face, put the first one down and took out the next one the same way, squeezing the cap once more which made it rather... askew. Proudly, Louisa brought the teeth and dropped them in the jar. There, she was good with fanged plants.

Aaand they were going..somewhere. Louisa had her gloves still on but she got her wand and off with the rest of them to the back of the greenhouse. Looking down at the toadstools the Professor was talking about she almost sighed. MORE toadstools or whatever they were. Meh, she thought they were going to trim a big beautiful tree but noo, they had to harvest three of those... and expect a pixie attack. Brilliant.

Louisa looked around, in case a pixie was spying on them, and moved to one of the beds, crouched in front of it and took a grab of the first Peppermint Striped Parasol she saw. Taking a grab was the keyword since a pixie was flying its way toward Louisa... the girl jumped on her feet and shouted a "STUPIFY!" At it but it didn't come out well since she was.. you know, starting her fourth year. The pixie started landing on Louisa's head, poke it and then fly further as the fourth year flailed her arms over her head. "Geerrooff!" She yelled at the creature. Pointing her wand at it quickly she shouted another spell, "Glacius!!" And it worked. The pixie was frozen.

Panting and cursing this class Louisa crouched back down, got hold of the plant's cap and twisted it. There. First down, two more to go.

This time Kennedy didn't find himself under a table, instead he was witnessing what the pixies were doing. When some of them neared him he would Stupefy them. He was almost in a trance. He almost felt angry with these little monsters. They kept picking and picking at him, just like the bullies back home. The only difference here was that he had his wand and he had the ability to do something about it. So, he didn't hold back.

"Stupefy!" he yelled, as another pixie neared him. His gaze followed the pixies fallen body and he stood over it. Why was he so angry? Glaring at the pixie he picked it up and wrapped his fingers around it. He then hissed when he felt a sharp pain in his head. He didn't know what was going on. Maybe it was all the pent up anger or the change of worlds in the last few months. Whatever it was, this was not Kennedy.

He looked down at the pixie and realized he was holding it a bit too tight. Twisting the cap off, he let the little monster fall on the ground like nothing and went to deposit it. His head was still hurting way too much, so instead of shooting at more pixies Kennedy went to sit under the table like he had done so before. It was like if he wasn't himself.

NOW she was smirking as she watched the girl dive right into the chaos that seemed to become worse and worse as the seconds ticked on. She was safe though. Her eyes were open for any blue creatures that may want to bug her, and she was standing away from all the mess.

And perhaps she was getting a little distracted already with watching everyone else, because looking back to the young Puff she was supposed to be protecting, the poor girl had to freeze the pixies by herself. Oops? Well, at least the girl could defend herself. Evelyn would just have to pay a little extra attention next time.

"Thank you." she said lightly, taking the toadstool and placing it into the box. "One more to go!"

You can do it little Puff!

Poking the frozen pixie away, watching it float through the air to some other unknown destination, Evelyn raised a brow as she looked back to Destiny. Wasn't so bad?

"You ruined your toadstool, you know?"

Did she know? Evelyn knew. She could see it. Right there. It was all broken and whatnot. DESTINY BROKE THE TOADSTOOL! Would these mushrooms still have that peppermint smell if they died? Did Bentley know the answer to that?

Because Evelyn was rather curious.

Looking back to Salander, since apparently he was a source of amusement as well as some of the other people here, Evelyn just could not keep the smile off of her face. Even if her Slytherin partner was angry as all get out at the moment...

It was just a hilarious sight!

But unfortunately, someone stunned the pixie and her amusement was over. "You're not supposed to let them win, Sal." she called over to him, snickering quietly.

Darn these stupid pixies! Couldn't they just LEAVE THEM ALONE?! Silly, pesky pixies! Couldn't it help her? NOOOO! And then they came at her. Yes, they. Not one pixie, not two... at least four!

How in the name of merlin was she meant to defend herself against FOUR pixies?! MERLIN! They could overpower her and attack her! And then she'd find herself tied to a pole while the pixies roam around pretending they own everything around them.

... No, for once she didn't need to calm down.

Kita's eyes grew wider as she stumbled and... fell on her bottom. The 'tied-to-a-pole' dream was starting to look more and more real now. "Aaaarrrggghhhh!" she screamed, covering her face and hair. No way were the pixies going to-

"NNNNOOOOOO! NOT MY SHOES!" she screamed forgetting about her hair and looking down at the pesky pixies who were holding her shoes and were now flying away from her, "COME BACK WITH THOSE! THEY'RE NOT YOURS!" Pfft! It was her favourite shoes!

And... THEY WERE FLYING AWAY! WHAAAAAAAAAAAT?! "Oh no you don't!" she cried, getting up and running after the pixies. They can't just steal her shoes and run away! What kind of pixies does that?!

Oh wait... she had her wand! She could fire spells and them and then get her shoes back! Woohooo! Kita grabbed her wand and pointed it at the pixies. "Stupefy!" she cried as one pixie froze and fell. YES!

Ahem! Time for the other three. She looked back at the pixies and pointed her wand at the one pixie who was carrying one of her shoes on its own. "Immobulus!" And... THAT'S TWO DOWN!

Kita ran forward, grabbed her shoe and hastily put it on. There's no way the pesky pixies were going to take something else from her! Hmph! Now time to get her other shoe back. "Immobulus!" she cried, her wand pointed at the two pixies running in front of her. FREEZE!

YES! ONE MORE LEFT!

Point. Wand. "Stupefy!" she cried. The remaining pixie froze in mid-air and fell, dropping her shoe in the process. "Oh my days, MY SHOE!" she squealed, jumping on her shoe. She twisted round and placed the shoe on her foot. Kita picked up the pixies and made her way towards the toadstool she was working on. She threw the pixies with the other stunned and frozen pixies before turning her attention to the caps. She unscrewed the last cap, picked up the other two caps before dropping it in the jar.

Now... that was her done right?

Immobulus and Stupify Nessie thought over and over again in her head when she heard somone suggest the two spells. She held the cap in her left hand then took out her wand with her right. She didn't really like the idea of having to hurt the Pixies theyre were still cute even if they were mean. She pointed her wand to her ear and carefully she whispered. "Immobulus" she felt the Pixies grip lessen slowly and she dropped to the ground in a bad fall. She felt her leg hurt but she couldn't stop now. Limping a littler she walked over to the box and dropped the cap inside it she then rushed back to get another cap."Thanks" she said to the girl before she continued.

She kept her wand in her hand this time as she twisted and pulled the cap off and held it in her free hand. The pixies were still frozen from her spell but she knew they'd be awake soon and if she didn't work fast they'd cause a hasssle. Just as she took a step to the box she heard a Pixxie near by. she turned around aiming at it ready to attack but then out of nowhere another Pixie came and grabbed her wand out of her hand."NO...DONT TAKE MY WAND YOU PIXXIE!!!" SHe shouted madly hoping somone would help her get her wand back.

Without a wand she couldn't do much. She took her wand free hand and tried waking the Pixies but she felt a sharp pain in her hand. "OWWWW!!!!!" She shouted in pain.A pixie must have bitten her or scratched her. She shaked her hand trying to make the pain go away. She took her sore hand and grabbed her wand away from the pixxie.
