Kourt froze as a boy bounded over and grabbed a pixie with both hands. Whoa. That pixie would regret buzzing around her and Indy. But then again...she had a feeling that Professor Bentley wouldn't like it very much if the boy had strangled the creature.

Tossing a look backwards, she shuffled towards a toadstool with its cap still on. Watching the pixies warily, she reached out and twisted the cap off of the 'stool and whipped around, wand in hand just in case the annoying creatures were nearby. Nope. They seemed to be preoccupied with the other students.

She hurried towards the box where she had deposited her other caps. Now why were there pixies here? Frowning, she raised her wand to stun the creature floating nearby. That was one less to worry about. Kourt dropped her final cap into the box and then turned to face the chaos once more. Now, she could help anyone else who appeared to be in need of assistance. Plus, it would give her more practice.

And then he was up. Ashley found that his feet no longer touched the ground. Well. That was uncomfortable.
He tried waving his wand at his back to knock the pixies off, but he just couldn't reach.
In a great coincidence, he found that box again, and went ahead and tossed in the second cap he was still holding onto.
But he still had to deal with these pixies on his back, trying to shake and twist and wiggle until they let him go, being very annoyed to find that they were holding on tight.
Um... Where were they taking him?? That was worrisome...
"Can someone help me please?" he tried again, looking around to try and figure out where the pixies were trying to deposit him. Hopefully it was somewhere soft, at least.

Harvey then went for his third cap while stunning a few pixies in the process, he was enjoying his first spell casting experience he was getting good at it too. All those hours spent playing video games were coming in handy as they had sped up his reaction time. He twisted off a cap and deposited it into a box, and then stood by to help anyone who was overwhelmed with pixie attacks

Once Angelina was done with her second cap. The boy she helped came and introduced himself, Angelina smiled and said, "Your welcome, I'm Angelina, and I'm a first year Slytherin."

Violet managed to get the pixies off her face and was determined to get the peppermint caps out.

1. She grabbed it by the top and twisted as hard as she could, and just like that, it came out of the pot. Violet, extremely proud of herself for her first peppermint cap, placed it into the box and prepared for her second one.

Okay...I can do this....just three caps...

Glancing around, she was actually quite hesitant to even attempt to do it, children left and right were getting mauled by these freakish things.

She took a deep breath.....here we go....

Reaching down at the first year was about to harvest a cap when she heard a fellow Snake cry out next to her.

"Hold on Ash!" the little boy-girl of a witch called out to him as she saw the pixies take off with him.

"Don't Fly Off With Him Darnit!" The little witch snarled with a hungry glare of fire in her eyes as she picked up a rock that was nestled to one of the plants and flung it at one of the pixies.

Hey, when you don't know the spell, you gotta use what you know.

With one pixie now hanging on to the boy, she knew it couldn't hold Ashley very much longer, so the surprisingly strong first year ran underneath to catch him.

And yet another segment of work to do? Damon really wondered if he could handle these caps and the pixies, he was scared like crazy of what the pixies might do to him, it was a good thing that he had gloves and his wand handy because without them he wasn't all so sure what could happen.

He quickly grabbed one of the caps and pulled on it and a few pixies came soaring out. One of them almost tried to injure his hand, then he twisted the cap over and over until it fell to the floor, Damon looked back at the toadstool and noticed another stuck pixie in there, he would deal with that in a moment. He tossed his first cap into the box. Number one was done.

"No problem, I'm Maddy. Nice to meet you Harlow". She also said hi to the older girl Louisa. "That happened to me too, I had to squash them with my textbook before I knew the spell". Then she headed back over to her toadstools to start actually pulling caps off.

Eino made his way towards another one of the plants when two pixies jumped out and confronted him. One pixie was enough nuisance but now he had to deal with two of them, at the same time. "Immobulus!" He cried out and blue sparks flew into one of the pixie's direction, but it dodge. Then one of them flew into Eino's direction, grabbed into his hand, and started biting is finger. He shook his hand violently in protest trying to get the piexie away. Just when he was going to use his free hand to pull it off the other pixie grabbed onto it and started biting it. If seemed like both of them really wanted him to let go of his wand but he couldn't let that happen. He began waving and flailing his arms around when finally they both let go.

He briefly glanced at his hands and they weren't badly biten, just a few marks but they hadn't cut his flesh. He tried to cast the spell a second time, but missed. The pixie then took the opportunity to attack again, but Eino dodge and the pixie flew right into the wall. While it flew around dizzily, Eino took the chance to freeze it, but its friend didn't let that happen. It began to pull Eino's hair, making it difficult to aim, but he still managed to cast the spell and freeze one of the pixies.

When the second pixie finally let go, Eino rubbed the back of his head, then spotted the pixie holding a handful of his hair while mocking him. The boy cast the spell, missed, and the pixie zoomed towards him again. Eino dodge, cast the spell again but to no avail. Finally, when the pixie repeated the same move, Eino pretended to cast the freezing charm as he always did, but instead he cast it a little off to the right, the side the pixie always dodge to, so it hit it and it remained frozen.

Before any more could appear, Eino ran to the plant, grabbed the cap, twisted it off, and placed it in the box with the others. Phew. He wiped his brow with his forehead and prepared himself for another one.

So far, things weren't nearly as bad as they could have been. Ashley was even starting to get used to the idea of life hanging in the air. He couldn't reach the pixies, and no one seemed to notice him, so he figured either he would wait until they got bored and dropped him somewhere, then try to get down, or adjust to a new life.
Just as he was finally resigning himself to the idea that eventually one of those two things was going to happen, he heard his name, looking around to see... oh. Eris.
Really?
Because this wasn't embarrassing enough. "Aish," he said to himself, but he waved, because he didn't want to seem at all ungrateful for the help. One of the pixies taken care of by a rock, he started to wriggle again, to speed up the whole dropping process. Except... was she trying to catch him? Even more embarrassing.
"What are you doing!?" he sort of called to her, but it was too late. Apparently the pixie had decided that instead of an accidental drop, it would be funnier to fling him at Eris, though he tried his best to twist and land on the floor instead. Hey. He may be short, but he liked to believe he could crush someone if he landed on them. Well, he liked to believe that. Untrue as it was.

2. After her little break, Violet took another cap, ready for the pixies. She took the top more roughly then she meant to, but not damaging the plant she twisted and it came out smoothly out of the pot. Violet was amazed that only 1 pixie flew at her, which she simply only swatted out of her way. She skipped happily to the large cardboard box and carefully placed it in.

"Where's my wand! Has anyone seen my wand!" Maddy was yelling. Some pixy probly picked it up and snapped it! "Has anyone seen a wand floating around anywhere, I lost mine!" Maddy kept asking.

MJ edged nearer to the toadstools. She didn't know how to Stun or Freeze yet, so she cast her eyes around for the prefects. Hmm, now what were they doing? She leaned forwards a bit. BIG mistake. A pixie was climbing up her hair! MJ wondered if she ought to try and Stun it - but what if she Stunned herself!! Can you even do that, she wondered. By this point, it was sitting on her head using two bits of hair as reins. MJ grunted - this was NOT dignified. Still, it did allow her to grab the cap that the pixie had been hiding in.

Cautiously, MJ walked across to Professor Bentley and dropped her cap into the box; pixie riding bareback side saddle at this point. MJ's eyes rolled upwards to try and see it, but no luck. In the end she dislodged it by shaking her head furiously as she walked back to her toadstools.

Pulling caps... fun activity. Truly fun. The idea of pixies messing up his hair at the best was fun too. In fact, when the both combined, it was the best activity in the world.

Only in utopia.

In fact, he didn't think it was possible even in utopia.

Eyeing the... things suspiciously, he made a move with his free hand while the other waited for the pixies. Just as his hand grabbed one cap, a little beast came up and he stupefied it easily, though the next one used that distraction to pull at his hair. He pointed his wand at it too without really seeing and he sent another "STUPEFY!" His other hand travelled when he was given a few seconds by the pixies and he twisted it swiftly, tearing it away. He retreated quickly towards the box and sighed to himself.

This wasn't the ideal herbology he had visioned.

"Hi, I'm Violet. Nice to meet you!" she said timidly, "I think I saw your wand floating with a pixie back there. Violet pointed to a corner near the entrance to the greenhouse. "I think you should grab it quick or it might take it out of the greenhouse! I won't be able to help because I still have one more cap to pull. I'm very sorry." Violet gulped. She hoped that she didn't get her mad. That wouldn't be a great start to her first year here at Hogwarts

Eino spotted a little first year student who had seemingly lost her wand to a nasty pixie. She seemed very desperate to retrieve her wand, then again if he lost his, he would be too. Snapped it? Oh, no, that wasn't good! Wand repair wasn't very easy and it cost a few galleons from what he was told. Hopefully, that hadn't happened. "Hey," he said approaching her "do you recall when you last saw your wand? Did you see in which direction the pixie that took it flew off to? Hopefully we can find it intact. Wands are very difficult to break, so they might not be strong enough to snap it." Maybe. He reassured her and tried to look for a pixie carrying a wand as she replied.

What was she doing? Trying to save him of course, well....then again, a little girl trying to catch you must look kind of awkward no matter how it is put.

As the boy fell in her arms, Eris did indeed catch him with all the strength she could muster but collapsed over her buckled knees.

Oops.

"Uhhh....Uhhh..Ash..." her blueish-grey eyes widened as she raised her hand to point at a swarm of angry pixies with a look of fear replacing the surprise on her, probably there to avenge their fallen friend from the rock. Brushing herself off, she saw João out of the corner of her eye.

He looked like he knew what he was doing.

"João!" She called out for help out of instinct. It sucked not knowing any spells.....

Pfft.

Destiny could not care less about ruining her toadstool. What she was worried about, though, was the throbbing pain in her nose! How was it that those pixies could pinch, honk, twist and whatever else it was doing to her, so hard? They weren't that big! She was sure she was going to have a very red nose for the rest of the day. Stupid pixies.

Rubbing it a little, she glanced around the Greenhouse. It was getting worse. So many people needed help to defend themselves. So many people were yelling. She had a headache. Lowering her hand from her nose, she turned back to Evelyn and gave her friend a few quick hand gestures. She was supposed to tell her to guard her as she went in to collect her last toadstool, but who knew what Evelyn would make out of it.

She just hoped the girl would defend her from the pixies.

Leaning forward and placing her hand on top of the cap, Destiny gave it a little twist, making it disconnect from the stem with ease. She wasn't going to bother getting a new one to replace the one she ruined, no. She wanted to get as far away from the pixies as possible.

"Evelyn, Evelyn, Evelyn! I'm done!"

And apparently, so was she.

Why didn't Destiny think of getting a Hufflepuff minion!?

Kat made sure her dragon skin gloves were tight and her wand was in its holster. Pumping herself up she jumped up and down a few times before cracking her knuckles and her neck. Okay, lets do this Kat. Don't let those darn pixies get the best of you!

Kat dashed towards the tables of toadstools and grabbed the cap, twisting it off with a bit of struggle. She made a mad dash towards the box, but several pixies had noticed her by that time, and were in hot pursuit. Taking a quick dive, the pixies grabbed her hair and the back of her robes. Kat let out a shriek and continued her dash for the box. Almost there, just a little farther...

She deposited the cap in the box right before another group of pixies grabbed her feet and ankles. Shrieking again she tried to shake them off her feet and fell on her bum. Kat proceeded to roll around on the floor, next to the box, screaming "Help me! Somebody please help!" Kat flailed about on the ground like a fish out of water, looking completely ridiculous.

Right. Of course there would be a time he had to return.

With a sigh, he went back to his toadstool and stood a bit far at first to spot the easiest cap to get. After choosing one, he walked determinedly. The faster he went on with this, he less damage he would get. Or at least that was the theory, to be proven wrong sooner than later.

This time two pixies got to him before he could reach to the cap, and they started pulling at his ear, since he had been too late to notice them. Reacting instinctively, his free hand travelled to the other while the wand immobilised the other, and soon enough he felt a sharp pain in his first finger, the sign of a bite. Cursing out loud in Portuguese--since no one would understand hehe--he turned in that direction. The pixie must have sensed that too, however, since it had gone to the back of his head at the same time to pull at his hair again. He sent another furious "STUPEFY!" and felt the grip loosen. Then he sent an "IMMOBULUS!" at that direction too and twisted the cap off at last.

Finally!

Now to drop it off at the box.

After dropping them off, he was to return back to his working area once again and for the last time when he heard almost a plead, a call of help, from a little girlish voice. The brown eyes found the grey, and he sighed to himself. Why did people think that he would want to help them, especially the little population, whom he tried his best to stay away from? But of course, he wasn't going to just let an eleven-year old girl and boy to their own fate. And this definitely had nothing to do with the professor there. When asked help, he would help.

"Protego!" was the first spell he applied as he walked there with determination. Then came "Stupefy!" Not my hair! "IMMOBULUS!" You piece of car--"STUPEFY!" And for now, the air was clear of pixies... only for now.

"I suggest you retreat before a few more pops up." How bloody many were there?! A THOUSAND?! "And probably go to hospital wing." He hadn't seen the fall, but he sure heard.

It wasn't pleasant.

Today Ashley learned that once you started falling, it was really damn hard to change direction in midair. He also learned that Eris was surprisingly strong. "Oh, thanks," he said, at least glad that he didn't have to land on the floor after all. Still, he scrambled away quickly, so they could get up, but at just that moment...

More pixies.

Really??

He turned to look at the group, staring at them with surprise. He didn't even know pixies did that! Immediately, he started swinging his wand at them. He had planned on attempting to copy that spell everyone else was using, but at the moment, smacking them with the wand seemed like a better idea than accidentally blowing them up. If that even happened. He still wondered...

"What are they so mad about??" Annoying!

Oh, but then came help! That was good, because wand whacking was only going to get him but so far. And he already heard at least one person crying about having their wand stolen; he wasn't going to become another.
"Thanks!" he said to the older boy who had come to the rescue, instantly inching back.

On to her third cap, Violet picked up the pot and placed it in front of her. With her dragon hide gloves, she twisted the cap as hard as she could. "Phew. this is a hard one" she thought as the cap didn't budge at all.
Suddenly she heard tiny flap of wings as a dozen or so pixies flew at her hair.

"AHHH!!!" she yelled as she started to make a grab for her wand, then realizing she didn't know the stunning spell, placed it back in her pocket. The pixies got into her hair and bit her delicate ears as she tried tugging them out. Violet looked desperatly around for any older students to help as one of the pixies crawled around her back.

Again Justin waved his wand as he directed it at another pixie " STUPIFY! " He was so proud of himself; he just stunned another one. Justin grabbed the cap of another toadstool and quickly removed it.

Sage continued to crawl through the crowd of students, one of the caps in her grasp. She approached her second victim (toadstool) quite quickly.
Her head popped up above the table infront of pot.

Still no sign of pixies!

Sage reached out and twisted the second cap off and continued to her final destination.

"STUPEFY!" MJ aimed her first ever Stunning spell at the pixie terrorizing a fellow First Year, who she recognized as a Ravenclaw by the uniform. She walked over to help the girl up, as the pixie dropped to the floor. She reached out a hand. "Hi - you're Ravenclaw too! My name is MJ, are you alright?"
