As soon as Vindictus mentions chocolate, Aiden grins as if she has an evil plan playing around in her mind. Quickly, she opens the small bag and devours them chocolates. Yummy!

When she was 6, she had made a mental note not to eat chocolate EVER again. It tastes just horrible, and besides, she's allergic to it. She put her portion of chocolate in front of her, incase someone wants more.

Chocolate?

Kennedy opened the small bag quickly and pulled at the strings. He was hungry...he was always hungry. His green eyes sparkled at the sight of the yummy treat and his mouth watered. Taking a piece, he joyfully popped it into his mouth and ate it. MmmmMmmMmm.

He looked over at the girl pushing her chocolate away. She didn't like it? But, chocolate was heavenly.

The professor really knew how to get into students' good books again, didn't he? After giant spiders, comes chocolates...Wow!
Ira took a purple bag and sat down on the grass besides fellow students, enjoying her chocolates.

Harvey opened his bag and ate some chocolate, not wanting to make himself sick.

Jez bit into her chocolate and felt the warm sweetness calm her nerves. Flying was wonderful, but it made her skittish now. Just thinking about going up high into the air again made her feel a little queasy. She sat down on the grass, very glad to have solid earth under her.

Chocolate? Jenny looked down at her purple bag. Finally, something to eat in class!

Then again, the escapade with the spider made her lose her appetite. After a long hour of fear and torture, the professor suddenly decided to make it up to the class with just a bag of chocolate? Seriously!

Ooh, there's chocolate?? Ashley eyed his bag, then opened it, almost hoping that at least maybe it was chocolate spiders that would crawl everywhere and generally be cool and creepy. But regular chocolate was good too.
"Thanks, professor," he said before eating, because it just seemed polite to do so.

Ooh Chocolate? YUM. Desiree opened up the bag pulling out of a few of the chocolate candies from inside.. she bit into them, well they were good, it was nice of the Professor but.. if this was some sort of bribe it wasn't going to work. Chocolate did not make up for setting a giant spider loose on them. Hmph.

But it seemed the actual flying part was over, thank goodness. She could handle questions, it was just the actual flying she couldn't do. She bit into another chocolate filled with caramel, happy that she had at least survived her first flying lesson. Just barely though..

Chocolate?

Eeeep. Nora needed chocolate, especially after this crazy flying lesson.

She untied the golden ribbon, and, indeed, she found chocolate inside the purple bag. Eating it, she was wondering what else might happen during the lesson, but she was happy, if she had chocolate. Hehe.

She also heard professor Vindictus as he took some points, but she was still happy, because they weren't from Slytherin.

Come again ? Chocolates ? Was he serious ? Beatrice looked at the purple bag clutched in her hands. Disgusting. She was not like the other students who marveled at the treat. She never liked chocolate. Not that she loathe it but she just can't imagine the prospect of eating something like that.

And so she just placed the bag next to her. Maybe someone else would like to have a choco ?, she thought.

Harlow opened her bag and quickly unwrapped two pieces of chocolate and popped them into her mouth. That was the most terrifying experience of her life and only chocolate could calm her down.

She munched on the chocolate trying to calm her nerves. Harlow wasn't sure Professor Vindictus wasn't going to do something nasty to them when they were least expecting it.

Louisa raised her eyebrows slightly, again with surprise. They were offered chocolate? In a present-like box? After flying around and getting chased by a fake spider? Something was fishy... ormaybe she was too paranoid. With a little shrug of the shoulders the girl opened her box and bit into the brown ever-loved sweet.

...was it the kiss from Madam Donovan that caused all this niceness to surface? Maybe it was his first kiss, HEHEHE, not that he was not handsome but he had this aura about him that suggested he didn't have many women on his doorstep. Again Louisa was not the one to talk about professors unless education wise so she focused on her chocolate and glared down at the grass.

Nathans head still hurt and without even realizing it he seemed to fly into the spider. He screamed out loud but just as he though he was doomed he saw the giant spider turn into balloons. He backed away from them abruptly on his broom. He then heard a whistle and he felt like he could feel it running through his head from the pain of the bump. He held his head and balanced his broom. When the pain subsided he pushed back on his broom and came in for a landing. When he reached the ground he grabbed a bag of whatever and spotted Raven. He nonchalantly sat next to her in front of of the professor. Would she even notice him. Wait, did he say chocolate Nathan opened his bag and found it full to the brim with delicious treats, he dug right in.

Penny had landed on the ground as requested by Vindictus.... and gotten a small purple bag from the crate and took a seat on the grass..

Wait..Chocolate... Whoo hooo

Questions about flying?..this was the part of the class that Penny excelled in - she opened her bag and began munching on the delicious chocs inside...Ready for the first question.

Chocolate, did he say chocolate. She went to open her bag, but then a thought crossed her mind. Maybe spiders will come out of the bag when she opened it. She decided to look around and see what others were doing. When she realized others were eating, she opened her bag. "Thank you Professor"

Justin went over and sat next to Minnie, " Hey , I'll meet you after class and we'll practice flying . I'll ask the Professor if we can borrow a broom each to use." He whispered. Then he took a bite of his chocolate.

Selina glared at the late Gryffindor. If you are late to class DON'T COME! Gryffindor was already having a hard enough time with points this term to deal with anyone else messing it up for them. But Kurumi said no beater bat... so she would refrain... for now.

Then she averted her gaze and looked back at Vindictus. Chocolate in the bags? You did not need to tell Selina twice. She opened up the bag and swallowed the chocolate down. Delicious!

MMM Chocolate! Jesifur dove into the bag and ate a piece. It had some gooey caramel inside, that dripped down her chin when she bit into it. Wiping her chin, she finished the piece and tried the next one. Flying was really cool, but chocolate too? Was the Professor trying to win a favorite Instructor contest? He had a vote from her, that was for sure.

"A Bunbury refuse chocolate? I'm shocked, Tori!" replied Vindictus. Anastasia NEVER refused chocolate! Geez, I miss having her around. She was pretty, bright and funny. Too bad she finally got married."See me after class is over and I'll take care of it then."

Now he had a large audience sitting on the grass and they were all eating chocolate, except for Victoria.

"Some of you are probably thinking that I'm off my rocker by setting such a large, ugly and scary flying spider on you. But I'm not."

Grin.

"A cute or non-threatening object would have made the experience more enjoyable, but you would fail to see the importance of the exercise. Tell me this - why is it important that you be able to avoid hitting an unexpected object that appears out of nowhere?"

And he purposely looked in Victoria's direction.

"And why do you think I've given all of you chocolate after such an experience?"

"Professor after such a scary or high energy experience the chocolate will help the blood sugar and calm the nerves." Minerva was hoping she was at least close..

So... he was not insane for letting a huge, terrifying spider flying after them?

Well, it made a bit of sense what professor Vindictus had said next, but Nora still thought that he was... maybe just a liiiiiittle insane. Or a little bit more than that. And... why was it important to be able to avoid hitting unexpected objects that appear out of nowhere? Was he going to throw objects at them?

Nora did not have a good feeling.

"To have good reflexes, perhaps?" She suggested, with her hand in the air. "And you gave us chocolate because... you're nice?" She couldn't find another reason for that.

Some of them? Pffft, all of them wondered that. Aaaaand the grin was kind of... cute! Louisa couldn't help but smile at that - wow, their head of house was really an awesome moody man, wasn't he?

The first question made her frown slightly before raising her hand, "Maybe because unexpected objects that appear in one's way, deliberately, are mostly not good and mean to do harm?" The chocolate was half-done and clutched in one of her hands as she continued, "Obviously, it could get us off our brooms and on the ground where there is no cushioning charms."

When the chocolate was brought up next, she gave the sweet thing a smiley look, "We were freaked out a few minutes ago and you wanted to boost up our spirit? It's proved that chocolate helps improving one's mood." Right?

Ira raised her hand and answered, "We be able to avoid hitting such an unexpected object that appears suddenly out of nowhere is an important part of our self defense. So you set up this little but dangerous exercise, to remove our fear, isn't it?"
And as for reason to give chocolates, "Maybe to make us fresh again...I mean we all were pretty scared by the spider. So to calm our nerves, you gave us chocolate..." And maybe to make us like you again?

Ugh. His grin just countered everything that he said; Jenny was starting to distrust the professor more now. Nevertheless, she raised her hand.

"So that we can train our bodies to avoid danger at the right moment while flying?" No, that seemed like a ridiculous answer...but maybe she can answer the other one.

"And you're giving us chocolate to calm our nerves, regain our energy, and..." Jenny grumbled this time. "...probably preparing us for whatever you're planning next."

Now would be a good time to eat sushi. Much better than eating chocolate, at least.
