For some reason, they were just being all smiley. Which didn't really bother Ellie too much, in fact, it was quite nice. A nice change from the feast the previous night. When Dallin turned to face her, Ellie pulled her legs up and hugged her knees, resting her chin on her knees.
He was taking a plane? "Is that a bad thing?" Ellie asked, raising an eyebrow. Because he seemed a little apprehensive about flying back. But the sooner he got to Florida, the sooner he could come out to Ireland. Ellie just smiled at the thought.
Dallin shrugged, pulling his feet up onto the cushion behind him. "I've never been on a plane before. And London to Florida - that's a long flight." At least once he got to Tampa, he didn't have too long of a drive back to Miami. "It should be fun though, huh?" Yepp; bright side. BUT it was okay. Because there was an even bigger bright side: He would see Ellie again soon. No matter how he got home.
Oh. Speaking of transportation... "Hey, have you ever used a portkey?" He couldn't help but ask; he was curious. He'd never used one before so he didn't know what it would be like.
She flashed him another smile and sat in the seat opposite him. It seemed every year she met someone new on the train. And Rafe seemed nice. Although she wasn't sure what he was grinning about. Maybe he was a happy go lucky person like herself.
Tucking her feet up underneath her, Mia's eyes lit up at his offerings. "Oh that's very nice you. Thank you." She wished that she had something to share, but she hadn't been up to the food trolley yet. Usually that was the first thing she did so that she could beat the crowds but instead she had decided to find a compartment first.
"So you looking forward to summer vacation?"
"Ha!" Rafe kind of burst out loud. It was weird talking to someone who didn't know the drama in his life. Come to think of it, he really did keep to himself and just a few friends. What happened to his social life? "Uh...sorry about that little outburst, I'm just not used to people inquiring about myself." He slammed his book shut and put it beside him. He would have plenty of time to look over it later. "My summer should be interesting...I'm going to be traveling a lot between my home in Romania and then France and surrounding countries. What about yourself?" He opened one of the butterbeers and handed it to her, then took one for himself.

Mia found herself blinking rapidly at his sudden outburst. She had no idea what she had said to cause it. Well that was until he went ahead and explained it to her. And then she was a tad confused. "Must mean that you don't meet a lot of new people then." Because she was sure that's what you did when you met someone new.
She jumped slightly when he slammed his book shut, but got over that quickly as he went on to speak. "Oh that sounds like fun. I went to France last summer. It was really nice." Well the places she got to see anyway. One week was definitely not long enough. "What is Romania like?"
Leaning over, she took the offered butterbeer and took a sip before answering his question. "Well I am going on a safari to the Serengeti with my friend Destiny and after that I'll heading off to Russia and will probably head back to Australia for a small stint." She took another sip of the butterbeer before givng Rafe another smile. "Thanks for this." she said holding up the bottle. "It's my favourite."

Never been on a plane before? Well, neither had Ellie, so she couldn't really say anything. And she didn't really know anything about planes or how long flights were. "Really? How long is it?" She wondered. She knew about most muggle stuff like twitter, because of her mom, but how things worked, she had no idea. "As long as you bring something to entertain you." Because sitting in a plane for a couple hours, or however long it took, didn't sound like too much fun.
Ellie nodded. "Yeah, several times. They're quite fun." That is, if you land correctly. Ellie sort of grinned. She was a pro at port-keying. She had been doing it for years, first with her family and then by herself.

Mia had figured him out right on the mark. "I used to socialize quite often, but I seem to have let my personal problems take away from more important things." Rafe hadn't made any new friends and mainly socialized with the same crowd. He'd really changed over time and in some ways very much hated what he'd become. "I really need to 'turn over a new leaf' as the muggles say. It is going to be my last term coming up after all!" Rafe grinned. He really did need to lighten up.
Rafe closed his eyes for a moment as she asked him what Romania was like. He opened them before speaking of his homeland. "Romania is filled with rich forrests as far as the eyes can see. Now, the leaves are green, but during the fall their shades as beautiful as a sunset. If you were standing in the center of the country, you find yourself almost completely trapped by the Carpathian mountains. The people are still very traditional and you'll come across very rustic towns with little cottages. But, the most majestic of all are the castles peaking out from the tree lines." Rafe smiled as he took it all in. He was very proud of where he came from.
He sighed. "The Serengeti sounds wonderful, I've never been to Africa, but I hear it's amazing. I would love to meet a witch doctor there!" Rafe was well traveled when it came to Europe, but not at all when it came to the rest of the world. He had too many dealings where he was. "I bet Australia will be neat too. Maybe when I graduate I'll be able to travel more of the world, but I have a lot to handle in Europe before I get the chance." Rafe took a sip of butterbeer. "And if you're going to Russia, you'll be close to my neck of the woods...if you're in the area I can take you to some hot spots that serve some really good Tocanita de iepure or as you might call it rabbit stew." It was one of his favorite dishes and he was always happy to show people around his country.
Rafe was happy she liked the butterbeer. "It's my favorite too." He raised his bottle. "To safe travels on our summer adventures," he toasted.

This is how I roll, come on ladies it's time to go!
Theodore lugged along his trunk, Bree perched on top like the kitty queen that she was, her shiny, embossed collar gleaming as the sunlight streaming in through the windows reflected off of it. Gritting his teeth and pulling it along, Theodore attempted to take his mind off of the manual labor by counting down the days until his seventeenth birthday and the day when he could legally perform magic outside of Hogwarts. Reaching an empty compartment in the middle of the mauve-and-black, coal-chugging steamer that was the Hogwarts Express, the curly-topped teen dropped his trunk onto the carpeted floor with a thunk, causing Bree to hop onto a seat and glare at her weakling of an owner.
After a few more minutes passed, comprised of a struggle attempting to toss the heavy trunk onto the luggage rack near the ceiling while Bree made a game of slinking around his ankles, Theodore flopped down into a seat in the center of one of the cushioned benches, heaving a sigh and wiping his brow. This was it; one more summer and one more year until adulthood, it seemed. The idea was nearly incomprehensible.
Alfie felt as though she was one of the last to board the train, having had a difficult time getting her bluebird Jay into his cage that morning. It seemed that, like the little Ravenclaw herself, Jay wasn't all that enthusiastic to be leaving Hogwarts that day. So it took a good ten minutes of chasing him about the dormitory before she was able to convince the bird into his cage, leaving just barely enough time to grab her bag and rush to the train before it left. Shuffling down the train's carpeted corridor, her long light blonde hair flowing behind her in a flurry, she was speed walking towards the back of the train in the attempt of finding someone she knew. She had already accidentally walked past Theo's compartment when she glanced down to find that she was holding an empty cage! Blue eyes widening, she stopped in her tracks, dread washing over her as she concluded the worst; Jay had disappeared! He was gone forever!
Luckily for the girl, her bluebird had not disappeared off the planet, but rather escaped his own cage as they passed Theo without realizing it. Jay had seen the boy in the window of the compartment and had taken it upon himself to go greet him. The bluebird, like his owner, rather liked the boy. Catching sight of a flurry of blue, Alfie immediately turned around and followed after it, worry still displayed on her expression. She reached the compartment door she had seen Jay slip through, and pushed it open further with honest worry on her normally calm features. "I-I'm so sorry, but have you seen--" she started, only to cut herself off as her large blue eyes drifted up to see the sole inhabitant of the compartment she'd just entered. Theo!
"Theo!" Alfie's expression lit up in a warm smile, amusement falling into her features as she then caught sight of Jay, who was currently perched atop Theo's shoulder. "You found him," she observed in a soft, breathless chuckle, relief washing over her expression as she leaned up against the compartment's doorframe, obviously tired out from her morning jog over to the train and the recent missing bluebird scare.
It was time to go home at last. Nessie couldn't wait to get back to South Africa. She hopped on the train and walked through looking in the compartments trying to find somone to sit with. She almost gave up on looking for a friend when she saw William sitting in a compartment. The compartment was more or less in the middle of the train. She waved to him. "Hi!" She said to him.
Nessie then continued to walk along the corridor. She spotted Rose sitting alone in a compartment. She walked inside the compartment smiling at Rose "Hey" She said and then gave Rose a hug. "Mind if I sit? She asked . She was sure they Rose wouldn't mind but it was good to have manners. She then thought of the feast last night, it was pretty crazy. "Um.. By the way I didn't really get to speak to Tyler last night" she said a little nervous.
She still hadn't gotten a chance to speak to Tyler and she hopped she would get to see him on the train. She really did need to apologize before they all got home. She still had to goodbye to quite a few people like, Damien,Penny, Amy, Sammy and Trey. She hoped she would get a chance to.
Mia had figured him out right on the mark. "I used to socialize quite often, but I seem to have let my personal problems take away from more important things." Rafe hadn't made any new friends and mainly socialized with the same crowd. He'd really changed over time and in some ways very much hated what he'd become. Rafe was happy she liked the butterbeer. "It's my favorite too." He raised his bottle. "To safe travels on our summer adventures," he toasted.
"Well maybe your personal problems were important too." she said, giving him a reassuring smile. Mia took another sip of her butterbeer and peered at Rafe over the bottle. "Why do you think you need to turn over a new leaf? I know I've only known you for five minutes but you seem like a nice guy to me." And she was very good at reading people. She had yet to be wrong about someone.
As Rafe talked about his home country, Mia found herself leaning forward in her seat so that she was sure to capture every word he spoke. She loved to hear about people's home lands. Because with her intention of travelling after she graduates, it was good to know of places to visit. "It sounds really beautiful. And I can see that you take great pride in where you come from."
A witch doctor? Now that sounded rather interesting. Mia wondered of she could talk Destiny into finding a witch doctor while they were there. "I've never been to Africa either. I have to admit that I am a little nervous." Mainly because she was worrie about Destiny stealing an animal or two. She really didn't fancy getting herself arrested.
Mia chuckled softly. "Oh Australia is awesome. But I have to say that because that's where I am from." She took another sip of her butterbeer and shifted her position on the seat by untucking her legs. She was starting to get pins and needles. When Rafe continued, Mia raised her eyebrows. ""Maybe you'll have to show me the sights instead. I'm a vegetarian."
She raised her bottle of butterbeer and giggled. "And to making it through another year at Hogwarts."

Nice? That certainly wasn't a way he would describe himself these days, especially the way Marilyn described him these days. "My ex would tell you otherwise," he scoffed. "She broke up with me last summer...it's been kind of hard letting her go, I guess you could say." Rafe didn't mind being open about his life these days, be he didn't know how Mia would feel about it since they've barely known each other. "I used to be more carefree, but I guess with age I've gotten more mature." He definitely felt like an adult, but at the same time he wanted to still be a kid.
"I've heard good things about Africa, the wizarding community is very different from what you would expect, but their magic is very powerful too." He met a few wizards from Africa and really enjoyed their company. "I'm sure you and destiny will have many things to discover! There was a lot to see...the Pyramids in Egypt to Mt. Kilimanjaro to Robben Island! And then there's the animals that are rather beautiful in their own way too." The more he thought about it, the more he wanted to go there himself. But, that would have to wait until another summer.
Rafe laughed. "I've heard of vegetarians, but never thought I would meet one." He tried to think of what she could eat...he never really included vegetables in his meals unless he had to. "I guess there's Mamaliguta cu ciuperci, it's polenta with mushrooms, or perhaps you'd like Papanasi cu brânza, also known as cream cheese dumplings...that's if you eat dairy...I think some of you don't eat that?" Vegetarians confused Rafe. He understood the whole 'not wanting to hurt animals,' but they just tasted so good. "Sorry, I'm not trying to insult your way of life or anything, but I'm..." he took in a deep breath, "I'm half-werewolf, so meat is just part of the everyday diet!" He tried to make the situation lighter. He didn't know why he told her what he was, but he felt more and more comfortable with accepting what he was.
Rafe chuckled with her. Wow, just one more term and he would say good-bye to Hogwarts. It was hard to believe.

Nika eased back into her seat out of relief. Thank Merlin they didn't have to talk about the subject. She just smiled and blinked, somewhat more than necessary, in return to Aurora's raised eyebrow.
"Yeah, I think I am too," She replied truthfully. Normally she would have loved to stay longer if anything, but this term she had enough. All Nika wanted was home, and some chocolate but that's not important.
OH! TROLLEY! Nika turned at the sudden arrival of the lady and smiled. "I think I'm going to get some chocolate frogs," She said with a sheepish smile. "I'll take.... ten please." Hehe. Yes, she liked them very much. Nika looked into her bag for the money that hadn't been spent on the wizard treats yet and noticed she had some extra. "Actually make that fifteen?" She wanted to save some for over the holiday. "Do you want any Aurora? I have plenty." She let out a giggle as she looked at her hands full of the chocolate frog boxes.
Aurora shook her head "No thanks, I prefer Jelly babies. I'll have two bags please." she directed at the lady. "Thanks." she handed over her money and popper one into her mouth. It screamed.
"So, got any plans for the summer?" she asked.

And also...there is one other thing.
Whether Savvy's coming back to Hogwarts next year, no one knows. It's a possibility that her dad is taking her to Paris again(bleah) and this time...taking everybody. Oh, how Savannah wish that she won't go to that stupid school in Paris again. She barely knows any French at all. Sometimes, Savannah doesn't know what is going on in her dad's mind. Who would like Paris??
Savannah walked up to the train and looked around. She doesn't really want to sit alone, so she openned a compartment door of a random compartment. Hopefully the people sitting inside won't mind. "Can I join you guys?" said Savannah as she looked down at a Slythie and a Gryffie.
And they were interrupted... "Oh, sure." Aurora smiled, always often nice to have more company. "I'm Aurora by the way, I don't know if you know Nika." she introduced herself and gestured to one of the empty seats.

Ohhhh.
Tapping the side of the bottle with her finger, Mia shrugged her shoulders. "That's the kind of thing that you expect from an ex though. Eight out of ten relationships end in animosity." She didn't mind that he was opening up to her about his life. She was used to it by now. People seemed to find her easy to talk to. "I guess you must have loved her a lot. I know that if I was to break up with my boyfriend, I would find it hard to let go also." But that was never going to happen. She hoped.
"Just because you have grown up doesn't mean you can't still be carefree. You just have to decide when the situation requires you to be serious." Sometimes she needed to take her own advice. It was funny that she could help so many people with their problems and yet when it came to her own, she seemed to ignore herself.
From the way Rafe was talking, she and Destiny were going to have one awesome adventure and Mia could feel herself getting excited until he mentioned the animals. "That's probably why Destiny is so obsessed with them. She wants to take a giraffe home." She shook her head thinking of the arguments they'd had over that.
Mia couldn't help but laugh. "I do eat dairy. It's vegan's who don't eat that. I don't like eating meat because animals have to be killed." She shrugged her shoulders. Not many people did get it. Even Nik at first couldn't understand why she wouldn't eat meat but he understood it now and even refuses to eat meat while she was around. She wondered if he gorges himself when she goes back to school?
She waved off his apology but what he said next almost had her dropping her bottle of butterbeer. Mia certainly had not been expecting that and she couldn't help but stare at Rafe for a moment before shaking herself. "Sorry I didn't mean...half-werewolf...that's...wow!" She was at a loss for words and that rarely ever happened to her. "So...so...how does that work exactly?"
Hugo pulled open the door to an empty compartment, his trunk wobbling after him and his owl cage in his hand. The owl skreeched as he put her cage above the seats along with his trunk. Then he sat down by the window and looked at the children on the platform gathering and preparing to get in the train. He hoped some of his friends would come along soon, sometimes he loved to be alone but not in a long trainride home.

Kurumi made her way through the train with a small arm full of licorice wands when she saw Hugo enter a compartment with his owl. "Hey Hugo," Kurumi smiled as she peered around the slightly opened door. Perhaps he would like to have a licorice wand?

"Please do come in, it's kind of quiet around here," he told her. Being in this compartment with Kurumi reminded him of the non-verbals they were supposed to practise. Well, there was always next term. "So what are you doing over the summer?" asked Hugo in an interested tone.

"I kind of went looking for it this time," she giggled offering him a licorice wand. "I really needed something sweet to, um, lighten the mood a bit." She hadn't been in the mood to bake cookies for the train ride back, not like usual. Her spirits were both crushed and elated at the same time. It was a very confusing time.
She smiled and took a seat across from him. The open space beside him was for Fee, right? "I'm actually going to be abroad all summer and won't be able to visit Diagon Alley until a few days before the term begins," she chirped. She was surprised that she wasn't more nervous about the whole experience. Quite the opposite really. She was giddy with excitement. "I'm taking part in a special program being held by the United Wizarding Nations. It's the organization that the world's Ministries of Magic assemble in." She had the feeling that her father was wanting her to follow in his footsteps, which was a rather intriguing concept considering what she knew now. "How about you? You going to study more wandlore?"

'Hey!' Rose grinned as Nessie walked in. She gave Nessie a hug back. 'Yeah, sure!' Rose told her. 'Don't worry, I don't think I want him to know yet... I'll wait until we know each other really well, and then I'll probably tell hm...' Rose told Nessie.

Ness smiled back at Rose. She then took her backpack and put it on the floor next to her. There wasn't much in her bag, it was just some left over sweets from Honeydukes. After that she put Puffles on her lap. Puffles had been on her shoulder before and she thought her pygmy puff needed some sleep. She then turned back to Rose. She was a little shocked, didn't Rose want to know if Tyler liked her first. In a way it suited her better that Rose didn't want to know. Nessie wasn't sure if she was ready to find out herself.
"Um.. Yeah I get where you coming from." Said Ness. Now that Nessie thought of it, this also bought here some time. Then maybe she'd be able to talk to Tyler first, she wouldn't tell him that Rose liked him, but she would tell Tyler she did.
Ness decided she was rather a little hungry. She lifted up her backpack and took out a chocolate frog and started nibbling on it. "Want one?" Nessie asked Rose. She had quite a lot of sweets in her bag and incase they'd run out she had money to go get more from the trolley.
Dani moved along the train, looking around- for people! She wondered if anyone she knew was about, or anyone she didn't know for that matter. It would be awesome to meet new people, even at the end of term. She leant against one of the windows and looked down at her perfectly manicured nails with a little content sigh.

Jonathan is looking for a spare compartment to just sit down and relax. Students are just so excited to go home these days, including him. He just can't wait to relax, relax and RELAX. He has just been so much busy with exams and the fact that he has finished it was such a relief. He liked the Potions finals the best.
Polyjuice potion rocked.
Definitely brought up the best and worst of people. Everything felt topsy-turvy that time. It was a whole lot of commotion.
Speaking of which, the feast at the Slytherin table didn't go as super as well. Someone punched someone. Blood splatter. Fainting and people getting upset about it. It was a lot to take in, in a day. So much drama, so little time.
Finding a seat in the middle, Jonathan closed the door and tossed his stuffs on the side. This is nice. He opened the windows and sat down.

While she nibbled on a licorice wand with Hugo, Kurumi spotted a familiar Slytherin pass by their compartment and she peeked her head out of the one she was in to see him just about to enter another. "Jonathan!" she called waving at him. "You should come join us!"
They had licorice wands!

Stephen was a bit annoyed Aimee ran off on him while he was telling her something important. Was she really trying to avoid this subject? He wasn't going to end it until everything got out there. It wasn't really fair since he was trying to be honest and open with her, something he wasn't able to do with may people around him. Peeking into every compartment he passed by, Stephen saw no sign of the blondie he was looking for. Close to giving up, Stephen passed one last compartment and saw Aimee sitting inside. Opening the door and pushing his trunk in first, he closed the sliding door behind him.
"Alright, blondie. We need to talk about this and get it out of the way. You can't avoid me forever. I'm just- I'm really sorry if what I told you made you uncomfortable in any way," he said, sitting down in the seat in front of her, with his feet on top of his trunk.
The blondes eyes flicked up as she heard the compartment door slide open, and her eyes widened as she saw who it was. Aimée didn't really want to see Stephen right then, didn't want to talk to him, because he knew what topic of conversation he'd have in mind.
And she was right. She sighed as he sat opposite her, and her gaze turned back to the window when he spoke. She didn't answer for a few seconds, but when she did, although her head turned back, she still avoided his gaze. "I could if I tried," she attempted, forgetting that she'd told him her 'hiding' places at the feast."Not uncomfortable." She looked at him now, shrugging a little. "I mean... I uh, I guess zat I.. feel, uh, feel ze same."
The same as him, she meant. That she liked him, too. Which was something she hadn't even wanted to admit to herself.

Jonathan heard a very familiar voice from behind. When he looked behind him, he smiled to see he was right. It is Kurumi. Jonathan decided to join her and her friend inside the compartment. Why not, eh? The more the merrier. "Hey Kurumi" he said while patting her head. Jonathan always like Kurumi's long hair.
Stepping inside their compartment and putting his bag beside him, Jonathan looked at Kurumi's friend. Isn't he Hugo? Fee's boyfriend, if he remembers correctly. He hasn't been introduced nor acquainted to him but he does seem familiar to Jonathan. "Hello" he smiled at the Ravenclaw--- that much he knew about him.

Pleased that Jonathan decided to join them, Kurumi scooted over towards the window. It would be fantastic if she could fit all of her friends into this compartment, it would certainly make saying her summer good byes easier and would ensure that she got to see everyone before she left for her study abroad program.
Still, she did flinch a bit when he patted her head. It was...kind of embarrassing...Her cheeks flushed just a little.
Kurumi looked back and forth between Hugo and Jonathan, trying to figure out if they knew each other or not. Probably best to introduce them, right? "Hugo, this is Jonathan. He is a 4th...well...5th now, year in Slytherin," she explained gesturing towards the snake. "And Jonathan, this is Hugo, a 3rd, erm, 4th year like me in Ravenclaw."

It's always cute how Kurumi blushes everytime Jonathan plays, pats, fumbles, mess her hair up. Kurumi is like the little sister Jonathan never had. Well, he is an only child and having a sibling would have been much better than just being the only son. Although, it has it's perks but still....
As Kurumi introduced them both, Jonathan congratulated himself yet once again--- it is Hugo, Fee's boyfriend. Yup. He didn't know much about him since Fee was not into details when talking about Hugo sometimes. "Nice to meet you Hugo" he said gesturing a hand to the young lad. Ravenclaw, Jonathan's best friend is in Ravenclaw too but he hasn't seen her much. Maybe they would see each other on the train? Perhaps not?
Oh well...
"I'm YET TO BE A 5th year, Kurumi" he smiled at her. "Don't rush" he joked around. 5th year just means one thing---- OWLs. It's hard enough for Jonathan to keep up with his studying and having OWLs next term is definitely something he is hoping to catch up.
Caroline pulled open the compartment door, to see if anyone was inside. No one, all clear. She pulled her trunk into the compartment. She decicded to keep door open it was a bit hot inside the compartment. She stared out the window looking back she could see the top of the castle. She closed her eyes, thinking this time next year it would be the last time she would ever be there. Jane jumpped up on her lap and strenched, and curled up on her lap.
Caroline sighed, "Must be nice to live the life of cat." As she petted her fluffly white cat between her ears.
