She bet he just hated the nickname because he wasn't fast enough to think of a return one for her. The only one her sister had come up with was TayTay, and that lasted about as long as it took for Hateya to deliver a swift kick to the younger sibling's shin.
"Fine, Mihkel."
She sort of looked out the window, wondering why he was still standing here. Really, there was lots of room for him to get past her now, "What year are you in, anyway? You don't really sound" mature "like a seventh year."
Good. Reasonable. He could appreciate that at least.
A mixture of a snort and scoff left him. "Because I'm not a seventh year." So it was okay that he didn't sound like one, though did that mean his voice didn't sound deep enough or his vocabulary was lacking? Slightly concerning either way, but at least his looks had him away from the younger side of things. "I'm sixth. And you are?"

"First. I've never been to Hogwarts before." Hateya considered just keeping quiet about the whole 'house' thing, but since lots of other people were wondering about it she figured she might as well, "Since you're a sixth year you know about the houses. Which one are you in? Is it the best one?"
She bet it wasn't. Not if it had people who didn't like nicknames and called their siblings fat and never mind that she fit that description sometimes too.

Trying to focus on something other than her name, Ginny admired Kana's simple, stylish outfit. "I really like your outfit, Kana."
"Thank you. It's a pleasure to meet you, Ginny," she added, noting the girl's shyness, or otherwise, her discomfort. Kit gave a few trilling noises of curiosity. Kana held the ferret for a moment, "You're not allergic to ferrets, are you?", she inquired, just in case...
Looking down unnecessarily, she gave a small laugh. "Thank you. The majority of my wardrobe is black, grey, white, black, white, grey, black, white, black, anndd... did I say grey?", she laughed. It was true. She didn't own much of anything colorful, but her personality was the exact opposite of her clothing. The same went for the little ferret in her lap. Kit was black-and-white, but when it came to personality, Kit was NOT lacking.
"Usaje?" She repeated with widened eyes. She even leant in a bit. Well, this cat was so different than her kitty but... anyways. "I had a cat..have. But she's not with me this term.." Ahem. "..she was Kitty." No, she's not a kitten.. that was her name. Louisa of course disliked the name but what she could do when her cat was determined to only respond to it? Hmm?
"A bit." She replied leaning her head back. "I was awake really early.." Because of my old aunt. "..and then hurried over here with a lengthy lecture ringing in my ears all way long." She rolled her eyes at herself. Heh.
"I'm Louisa, by the way. What's your name?" She smiled and just noticed how young the girl looked. Was she even allowed to go to Hogwarts? Well, Louisa wasn't that small when she was younger...whatever.
Peyton stifled a giggle. Many people mis-pronounced her cat's name. "It's Usa-gee." she said, slowly. Hopefully that'd be helpful and she wouldn't have to repeat it a million times like she did with her dad. Aw, she left her kitty named Kitty, "Why didn't you bring Kitty with you?" Peyton would never be able to leave Usagi behind that would be...barbaric.
Barbaric, I tell yah!
"I woke up late." she said. No one had woken her up early, not even her nan. "Lecture?" she asked as she cocked her head to the side. Was she in trouble like Peyton had gotten a few days ago.
Setting Usagi on the seat beside her, the girl sat up straight. "I'm Peyton!" she said with a bright smile. That was her favorite part of introducing herself; saying her name. "Are you new to Hogwarts?" she asked, her curious eyes on Louisa.

"sorry, Mr. Panda, maybe i should pull that instead..." she put down Sythe's cage and pulled the luggage-man, it was heavier than she thought. When Camellia helped her with it, it seemed so much easier. she gave up and looked at her doll. Ginny had never seen a ferret in person before. "Not that I know of, but I'm sure we'll find out soon! What's his/her name?" she giggled.
Ginny glanced at Kana's outfit again, contemplating. "I think the neutral colors fit us gingers best, though. It's so hard to find cute things that don't clash, but you clearly don't have any trouble." Ginny was never a huge fashionista, but she loved reflecting clothes with the moods she was in.

He really had it out for his brother, didn't he? Sure, Hateya didn't really like one of her sisters much, but she didn't think she'd say so to a near stranger. That just felt like something you didn't do.
"It's a little late for you to start, isn't it?" she pointed out. Why hadn't he stayed wherever he'd been? "I still don't really get what the big deal about houses is. And I'm sure they'll all be just as much fun."
Just in case she wasn't in his house, she wanted to make that perfectly clear.

OOF-someone bumped into her. Heather scrambled up and looked at the person-it was a boy-A LOT TALLER THAN SHE WAS. She sighed. She wished to be tall so maybe people won't be missing her.
"N-no..i-it's okay..." she squeaked. After all, she was the one in the way, not the boy.
Connor walked down the middle of the train, searching for Kurumi and her friends, having an invitation to sit with them. He was very very nervous, not just about school, but about seeing Kurumi again. He smiled, thinking about her again. He remembered how she had looked, standing there as Nessie had rubbed her cheek. "Snap out of it Corun." He murmured to himself as He walked around searching for her or for a compartment for them and his friends.
Cass walked down the corridors and started looking for her friends. Then she stopped when she noticed an older boy, sort of talking to himself inside an empty compartment, he looked familiar...hmm..
She knocked lightly on the glass, enough for him to hear, but not enough to startle him before sliding the door open and smiling at him, shrugging off the feeling that had settled at the pit of her stomach. the feeling that she got whenever she was with her mother for too long. There's a Veela in the room. Aside from her of course. Not that her amount of Veela blood was enough to cause this much of a reaction in so little amount of time.
"Hi. Sorry for barging in like that." Cass started apologetically "You're Kurumi's friend right?" She started as she held out her hand to shake "I'm Cassandra Prewett - but my friends call me Cass - a friend of Kurumi's too."
Peyton stifled a giggle. Many people mis-pronounced her cat's name. "It's Usa-gee." she said, slowly. "Usagi..right?" Why did the girl have to choose a difficult name anyways? Not that Louisa didn't like difficult words- a bookworm like herself were prone to difficult…things. Anyways, She took a closer look at the cat. "Mine was a brownish smaller cat. I don't really know her kind.." A guilty smile, "..but she was really.. nice." She said overestimating her cat's niceness.
Uh oh. Here comes the awkward question. "Umm.. Kitty's really sick and my aunt wouldn't let me take her with me this term." She nodded confidently, half the truth was what made the story less dramatic.
Yes, a lecture. Don't tell me Peyton never been lectured! Well, Louisa got plenty of those…even from older students. Heh. "Yeah. I have a kind of fussy aunt… and a demanding guardian." She paused. Was guardian the right name for Marina? Louisa shrugged. She didn't really find a difference.
"No. I am a Third year now. I've been to Hogwarts ever since I was a firstie." She said proudly. "You look younger than me. What year are you in?"
Cass walked down the corridors and started looking for her friends. Then she stopped when she noticed an older boy, sort of talking to himself inside an empty compartment, he looked familiar...hmm..

Connor glanced up as the door opened. He smiled as he recognized someone who had not been mean to him that day at Florean Fortescues. He took in a deep breath and caught a whiff of the sweet scent associated with another Veela. He stood and held his hand out to her, taking hers and shaking it. "Hello Cass. I'm Connor Corun. It's nice to meet you." He gestured at the available seats. "I would appreciate the company if you wish to join me.
He smiled as he stood and waited for her to take a seat. The gentleman in him could not sit while a lady stood. It was improper.

So she seemed to be fine at all. Jonathan bowed and told her "Do you have a seat already?" he asked. "because if you want, our compartment is quite spacey." Well, Jeanne and him only occupied the compartment so why not invite more people. The more the merrier, right?

For a second, Heather thought she saw Cass-was that Cass, really? Hmm...maybe not, she'll just scout the entire train later to see where Kurumi and Cass is.

Jonathan looked at her and the amount of things she was holding "Yeah, definitely." Jonathan said "It's okay to come over." Jonathan insisted. But it all depends whether she wanted to join with Jonathan or stay with her friends.
"Jonathan Kim. Nice to meet you, fourth year. Slytherin" he introduced. Jonathan is a proud Slytherin, he always makes sure people knows. "So will you join us?" he asked one last time.
I got to go first. :) reply some other time as soon as i can. :)

Then she said "I've never seen you around Hogwarts before. Are you new?" She would have to be blind not to notice him.

Upon reaching there, Jonathan opened the door for her and let her go in inside first. Jeanne is still sitting down and reading... She already put her pygmy puff onto the side and started reading? "Heather, this is Jeanne." he told her to skip further introduction. "She's a fourth year Ravenclaw."
Then he turned to Jeanne, "Jeanne this is Heather, a third year... Gryffindor" she looked at Heather and offered her the seat infront of them "please, sit down." He sat next to Jeanne.

He looked over the girl across from him. She was really very pretty, as were all the girls he had met lately. But for some reason, his natural tendency to flirt was just not there. It was hard to explain, but the only girl on his mind was Kurumi.

Waddle waddle waddle. King Walnut lead the way through the train with his Mistress chasing behind him. It really was all HER fault that he had spent the last part of the summer holiday locked in a flat with her father while she went back to Japan with her siblings and enjoyed the sights, smells, and tastes. Meanwhile, he had been shown picture after picture of her...even his cat food had turned into works of art by his mistress' father...and completely ruined his appetite.
Turning suddenly, Walnut entered a compartment where he recognized the boy and girl who sat there. Ah, yes, excellent. My worshipees. He jumped on a seat and looked at the two. They could worship him now.
Kurumi had been chasing the cat all around the train. It had been hard enough that her brothers had almost caused her to miss it completely, but now she had been chasing his tail as he ventured around trying to find a compartment worthy of him. She knew she ought to have left him in his cat carrier and put him with the luggage.
"Walnut! Will you please slow down?!" she squeaked running after the feline.
FINALLY, the cat turned...but it was so sudden that she went right past the door and had to double back. Hair more than a bit frizzy in places and her bangs swishing every which direction, Kurumi peeked in and saw Cass and Connor sitting together. "Cass!" she chirped waving to the girl. "I haven't seen you all summer! How was your holiday?"
She entered the compartment and closed the door behind her in attempt to keep Walnut in once place for more than 10 minutes. She then stood in the middle and turned her attention to Connor before reaching into her bag for the cookies he had requested.
"For you, just as I promised," she smiled handing him the box of mint chocolate cookies.

He smiled at the cat, but his smile brightened even more as Kurumi walked in. He had missed her all the last week of the summer holidays while he had been at is grandparents place in Italy.
He stood and took the cookies, and not caring if that girl, he thought her name might be Lexi, that one that had yelled at Kurumi in public, was around or not, he kissed her on the cheek. "Thank you Kurumi." After their one date, he knew that she was not as ready as he was, but he'd told her he'd wait for her and that's what he meant. "Please sit down and join us."
He stood, waiting for her to sit. He was a gentleman and besides Pegasus would kick his wings off if he was anything less.
Caramel stuck her head out of Connor's pocket and sniffed the air, not sure who this other cat was as they'd not met before. She mewed at him.

"Ah. Interesting." Cass said with a nod "So, where did you study before transferring to Hogwarts?" He couldn't have been a first year, he looked too old for that.
Then she laughed "Its no problem at all." She said generously "Everyone has their quirks." Hmm, come to think of it, she doesn't know what she does whenever she was nervous. She had never really been that kind of situation before.

Cass' eyes sort of widened as she watched Walnut enter the compartment imperiously.
"Hi there Walnut." She said in an amused tone as she tried to hide her smile.
Then she smiled when she saw his owner come into the compartment, looking slightly frazzled. What happened?
"Hey Kurumi." Cass greeted with a smile as she hugged the girl "My summer was great. I've been writing songs and such." She answered, glancing at her guitar bag. "You?"
At the sound of another meow in the room, Ice poked her small white head out of the pocket of the guitar bag where she had stowed away earlier.
She looked around and saw her mistress talking to a familiar looking girl, and a boy sitting across from her. Then her wide blue eyes went towards the cat standing in the middle of the room who looked liked he was expecting the other humans to notice him or something.
So, she climbed her way out of the bag and walked towards the other cat with an expression that was sort of a mix of confusion, amusement and a bit of disgust

Kurumi's hand covered her cheek from where Connor had kissed it and she shot him a look. It wasn't one of hurt or anger, but it also wasn't one of joy. It was mostly confusion.
Blushing, she took a seat next to Cass and was soon joined by Walnut who curled up in a ball on her lap and eyed the other cat in the room. He was so above playing with kittens.
Sitting across from Connor, her cheeks flushed and she played with the hem of her skirt having already changed into her Hogwarts' uniform.
"You all set for your first term?" she asked not really sure what else to say at the moment.
SPOILER!!: Cass <3

"Walnut happened," Kurumi sighed rolling her eyes at the cat. "I don't know how he could get worse than last year with his King of the Common Room bit. Already managed to chase off a few first years." She giggled a little at the memory.
"I've only just got back from a family trip with my mother and brothers. Nearly missed the train - not that mother would have minded really."
Midpurr, Walnut noticed another cat. Honestly...what were all these cats looking at? Not that he could blame them, he was a sight to behold.
Swishing his tail back and forth, he closed his eyes and tried to shut out the conversation. It was time for a cat nap.

Reason: ELLA! *snuggles*

Connor smiled. "First Drumstrang then The New York Academy of Magic." He replied. "I'm a fifth year." He replied softly. He glanced up at his own guitar case above their heads, He'd been studying with the rest of the Horsemen and picked up the guitar as fast as he'd picked up the drums. "So You're a songwriter?" He asked Cass. "Me too, a singer/songwriter."

Caramel sat there in Connor's pocket, somewhat shy and afraid to come out, she figured all grown up cats were like Marshmallow was and that they wouldn't be her friend anyway. She looked over at the other two cats and shivered in Connor's pocket.
Connor looked across at Kurumi. He still didn't understand completely why they could not be together. At her look of confusion, his eyes filled with pain, but he hoped she did not see. He had promised to wait and he would. "I guess I am abou as ready as I can be. It's not like I'm not used to first days in a new school." He replied softly.
This was it! I'm finally going to Hogwarts thought Nessie nervous and excited she couldn't see any of her friends yet, but she went to go look for a compartement, maybe they would find her later. Nessie found a complete empty compartement. She took a seat looking out the window hopping the ride would not be too long. She was not very patient and she couldn't wait to get there.
