"Oh course it's not." Lila said sarcastically. "That doesn't mean that you're not beneath me." Oh fighting words. She could tell that the other girl was getting worked up. It wasn't her fault though that she she came from a better stock, and was proud of that.

"Oh no I love cats." Lila said, it was true. She had a special place in her heart for cats. Unfortuantely she had had to leave her own cat, Coraline, at home for her sister to play with. "I'm Lila." She reached out to scratch Hex behind the ears. "First year. How about you?" Finally someone who wasn't practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. She thought.

"Oh I know I've gotten that more than once! And it's really annoying! I don't think I look like a first year! Well... okay maybe I do, but still. I'm not." Well this is going no where.... "Yeah I'm really excited because we get to help the first years out and show them how oh-so awesome we are because we sort of know what we're doing." Sort of...

"Hogwarts is so awesome I don't know how it's possible not to miss it!" Even though what she said seemed to not make any sense what so ever it did to her. "It's my home. I love it."
Oh a first year! There are just so many of them. "I'm a Second year Gryffie! And I'm so excited to be going back to Hogwarts." How she missed the little of the wizarding world that she got to see. "Do you know what house you wanna be in?"

Jeanne is looking out the window and can still see the back part of train. How long is this train? she thought to herself. She was getting bored by the minute and she couldn't concentrate in reading a book on such a fine day. Well it wouldn't be long enough for them to change into their robes now? Her bag was still not in action since Jonathan decided to get it himself. He hasn't been back yet, maybe he met some new friends. He knew what bag it was anyway.

The purple pygmy puff that was sitting beside her was now on Jeanne's shoulder again. She tried talking to it. Her hands pointing outside the window "See that?" she smiled, laughing at the fact that she's talking to a creature... ALONE!

"Slytherin." Lila said immediately. "It's the house my whole family's been in. Gryffindor would be my second choice though." The only house Lila would be really upset with would be Hufflepuff. She didn't discriminate by house. Just be blood status.

"Umm. Hey? I'm Rain."
Her inner snobbiness sounded out so she shone a smile. "Be nice, Rain" she told herself.

Well! Ariana was about to take a deep breath and apologize for getting worked up, but never mind, now Lila was being mean! "Fine then, go ahead and believe what you wish," she said, then turned her back and went back to talking to Nika. Jeez, she just wanted to help out the firstie, no need for her to get all mean!

"I know I look like a firstie, I'm kind of short..." Trying to be funny, she shrunk into a little ball and looked up at Nika, speaking in a little voice. "Hi, I'm Ariana." Then she straightened out and talked normally again.
"I've talked to like a million first years, there's so many this year! And also a lot of transfer students... there was this one girl named CeCe who was Mexican or something!"

Jade laughed, "nope this is my first year at any school." She said, wondering what that kind of school would be like. Or any school for that matter. "So do you have a pet?"

"Yeah they're great," she said, letting Hex jump to the other seat. "Nice to meet you. I'm a first year too." She glanced out the window, then back to Lila. "So... what kind of stuff do you do for fun?"

Krissa smiled, this girl was very friendly, and she could definitely appreciate that. "Yeah I'm hoping I'm in Gryffindor." She replied, "I mean all the houses sound great but that seems to be where I'd fit best."

Jonathan came with Jeanne's bag pack. She wouldn't imagine the things Jonathan went through. It's like squeezing through every single person along the way--- well, it kinda is squeezing through every person along the way. Finally he has now reached into there compartment. He went inside nearly stumbling through. Jonathan felt embarrassed about that, especially in front of Jeanne. "Here you go" he handed her the bag. "I hope, i didn't break anything." he smiled but crossing his fingers that hopefully there was no glass inside.

Jeanne might be wondering why he didn't go back for a long time, so he tried explaining "I met a first year." he shared. Not that Jeanne was asking for an explanation but Jonathan just felt like sharing about it. " Asian, like I am." What else to add? "Ohh, he's name is Daichi." yup that's his name. Jonathan was bad in remembering names so he felt relieved he remembered Daichi's name this time.

he knew that Jeanne would be reading but when he came back it was only her and her pygmy puff. What? No reading this time while he was gone? "I thought you were reading?" looking around for some kind of sign or proof if she really WAS reading. He couldn't find any book lying around.

"Yep," Peyton nodded as she swung her legs back an forth. Her cat was named after her idol or else it would have been princess or something girly. "Really? Aren't you going to miss her?" she asked, at the same time looking down at the fluffy white feline on her lap. She wouldn't dream of leaving Usagi behind...plus, she was like Peyton's personal pillow. Hehe.

A sick kitty! Aw, THAT was sad. Peyton pursed her lips, "You haven't given her medicine or something?" like healing her with magic? That's what her daddy did everytime Usagi was sick, magic.

The girl sat up straight when she heard what Louisa was saying. "My step-mom is REALLY fussy." she said, using the other girl's word. Peyton hated her. That woman always scolded her; Peyton don't be mean...Peyton don't look at me like that...Peyton don't yell...Peyton this and that! It really irked the eleven year old. "Y-Your guardian?" was that a new word for dad or mom?

WOW!

She was a third year! She must of love Hogwarts a LOT then. "I'm first year," the red head said with a hint of pride. She was the first and only one of her sisters to be going to Hogwarts instead of Beauxbatons.

WAIT!

If Louise was a third year that meant she was in one of the four houses. Although, she knew a lot about their history she wanted to know of how it was now in...whatever year they were. "What house are you in?" she asked, with a grin spreading on her face.

OHMYMERLIN!

Peyton froze when she felt someone tap her shoulder. What if it was an over grown, upper classman that liked picking on poor, defenselss, first year girls with fluffy white cats?!

EEEPP!!!

Slowly, turning around to face the person, Peyton braced herself, but then noticed that it was no over-grown-mean bully. It was FEE!

PHEW!

Smiling wide, Peyton dropped Usagi and wrapped her arms around Fee. "FEE!" boy, was she happy to see her. "I thought you were a BIG bully." she said, feeling relieved that it was her friend instead.

Hearing a voice that seemed to be directed towards her, Peyton walked to where the girl was. "Hi!" she greeted, with a smile. "Sure! If you don't mind," P didn't want to disrupt anyone, but if it was a clear out invitation then she'd take it. "I'm Peyton, by the way." she grinned, putting the poor squished cat on the floor.

"To be honest, I'm not really sure." Maggie blushed. "I'm, I just grabbed a bunch when I was shopping in Diagon Alley. I also brought some homemade chocolate, mom made it."

Maggie took a chocolate frog, "uh, are these real frogs? Cards?" She opened a box and started as the frog jumped, laughing she grabbed, seeing the card she picked it up. "These? No, I've never seen them before. I think I'd like to start collecting them though." She smiled at her new friend.

"Rain. That's such a unique name! Never met anyone with it before!" Nika smiled at the girl. She didn't answer Nika's question though. "So Rain are you a firstie?" So she tried again.
"Slytherin is a pretty cool house." Gryffindor is better Too much house pride? "I think Slytherin would have been my second choice, or Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw." Oh, Nika. She just mentioned all of the houses... "Yeah, but regardless of your house you are going to love it at Hogwarts! I was looking forward to coming back to the castle all summer! I love my family, but I missed the wizarding world." Nika loved everything about magic.

Nika was laughing very hard at Ariana's little act. She had to hold on to the bottom of her seat to keep from rolling on the floor. "Oh I know! There are so many! I feel like the Hogwarts welcoming committee or something!" 'Twas true. "It's pretty cool though, meeting people from all over! And most of the firsties are pretty nice. Except those select few that have that major attitude problem." Honestly they're not better than anyone else here.
"Oh really!" Another firstie. There are just so many. "Nope. But I really want one! I really want a puppy though, but I don't think they are allowed at Hogwarts so I can't get one." That and her parents probably wouldn't let her have one.

Ariana was glad Nika was laughing, at times she tried to be funny and just got blank stares. But then again, Nika was the laughable type. Ariana laughed along, laughter was just so contagious!
"I've probably spoken to a thousand, and most were really cute. Was I that cute last year? And then there's the few that I just want to help out, and I get snubbed! Not cool!"

"Oh I love dogs. I would of gotten one if they were allowed at school." Her cat, Hex hissed and curled up in his cage. Ignoring him she continued. "So whats Hogwarts like?"

Melina smiled brightly at the girl with the irritated cat. "Hi Peyton, I'm Melina- or Mel, Mellie, or Glory- my last name's Morninglory." Melina gestured the Payton's cat. "Uh, how's your cat? He seemed a bit put-out," she laughed. "What's his-or her- name?"

Melina showed off her two tiny pygmy puffs, happily rolling around in their cages. "These are my new little babies. The pink one is Anne and the lavender one is Dianna. Their names come from a wonderful Muggle book called Anne of Green Gables. Are you Muggle at all? I'm half-and-half."

She dug into her backpack and pulled out a heaving bag of sweets from Sugarplums in Diagon Alley. Holding the bag toward Peyton, she asked "Want some? It's my celebratory candy!" she grinned.

Ariana noticed Nika talking to another girl, and decided she might as well say hi. "Hi, I'm Ariana!" Her cat, Missy, walked up to said girl, or actually said girl's cat. Strange, hissing cat... Missy couldn't tell if it was a hiss directed at her, or a disparging hiss at the idea of dogs in general. She gave an inquiring "Mew?"

Elle was staring out of the window when somebody slid the door open. She swung her head to face the person.

"Oh, hey Cody," she said with a wave. "Come in, make yourself at home. It's gonna be a long way to Hogwarts. "

The redhead stood up and rummaged for something in her purse. She pulled out a pack of Berty Bott's Every Flavour Beans. "Want some? I took out the nasty ones... so it shouldn't be very bothersome for you to keep looking at the flavor of the beans," Elle offered him with an outstretched hand.

She realized that she hadn't introduced her brother to her friend. "By the way..." clearing her throat, she continued, "Cody, this is my brother, Jacob. He's in your Year. Jacob, this is Cody Evans. And here--- is his friend, Nikolas Waldorf,"

Jacob looked up from his violent game of Wizarding Chess and shot Elle a questioning look. She mouthed "Relax. He's just a friend." Cautious and protective for his little sister, he squinted and scrutinized Cody from head to toe, stood up and stretched his hand out, "Pleasure to meet you. I don't think I see a lot of you.. though we did have some classes together... Need a hand?" he gestured at Cody's trunk.

Behind Jacob, Elle was giving Cody an apologetic look. Nikolas just chuckled beside her.

Jade smiled, "hi, i'm Jade." Hex glanced down from the seat, and down to the cat standing there. He jumped down, deciding it would be best to meet this new cat. He sniffed the tips of her ears, then gave a slightly high pitched "Meow!"

"Are you a first year?" Ariana wouldn't be surprised if she was, there were a lot this year!
Deciding that the hiss was for the mention of dogs, Missy tentatively touched her nose to Hex's as a greeting. Suddenly feeling fine with this new cat, Missy decided to meet the new girl. She walked up and boldly jumped into Jade's lap.

"I know! And some of them are real tiny too! Where we ever that tiny?" Nika new she wasn't the tallest person around, but still. They just get shorter or something. "I know. Some of them need some attitude readjustment." Nika nodded in agreement. Since when were first years that mean.

Nika let out a small sigh. "Hogwarts." She answered in a dreamy voice. "Where do I even begin? Well it's the awesomest place ever! Mostly everyone's really nice and the classes are so much fun. It's really home." Nika couldn't think of any way of describing it. "There is magic every where you turn and the stairs move, the picture frames talk, and oh it's just so cool!" Nika wasn't sure whether all homes were like this, but hers certainly wasn't. "You're going to love it, I'm sure."
"Yeah, but it's okay. I wore the same look my first time too." Very true. "It made it easier once I had some people come up to me and introduce themselves." That's why she loved it at Hogwarts. You could go up to a complete stranger and tell them your name and they won't find it odd at all! "Yeah revenge is alright I guess. I don't really like revenge so much, but I love pranks! Those are definitely the best!" Pranks are fun.

"Well," Ariana laughed "I know I was that small a few years ago, but I feel like I was about this height last year!" It was like they were getting shorter!
"I was nice to everyone last year!"

Making her way down the cars TJ poked her head into a few compartments. Not seeing Matt, she kept walking, she'd wondered how things had gone with his cousin, knowing full well how his cousin felt about her. Spotting him inside one of the compartments, she grinned at him through the glass.

Tapping softly on the glass, she waited to see if he noticed her. She still couldn't believe how much had changed between them since last term.

"I thought I was nice last year too... I hope I was nice?" Nika thought back to last year. Had she been nice? "Well some of them are really starting to get on my nerves with this whole I'm-better-than-you-thing, but hopefully they will get better as the term goes." Hopefully. Some people were just permanently stuck like that though.

Wow, the girl had many nicknames, that was COOL! "I'll call you Mel," she smiled, or maybe Mellie later on. Peyton looked down at her white persian cat and saw that she wasn't happy to be on the floor. "It's a she, Usagi." she said, bending down to pet the cat's head. "She wasn't very happy that my sister had her inside a cage earlier." her sisters were just so darn mean!

OHMERLIN!!!

She had cute, wittle Pygmy Puffs. Peyton squealed when she saw the fluffy animals rolling around. "They are so CUTE!" and she wanted to pet them. "You're so lucky. My daddy won't let me get one, he says I have to many pets." pfft, three wasn't too many.

Peyton found herself confused, "What's Ann of cable?" was that what she said? "I'm pureblood, although I know some things about muggles." she added the last bit.

OOOOOHHH!

Was that candy?! Yes, it was. Peyton smiled and nodded eagerly. She loved sweets, all except for chocolate, ew. "Yes, please." the eleven year old said, extending her hand.
