A sneer spreads accross her lips, envying those who could skate and even good at it. She does not know how to skate, but that does not mean she will surrender. NEVER!!!

Aiden sees another uneven green panel. She lets a heavy sigh before pointing her wand at the fourth panel. "Glisseo," mutters Aiden.

This lesson is really fun. However, it would be more fun if she knows how to skate.

Wait, WHAT?! Ice skating? No... Nonononononono.... Salina remembered her last attempt at ice skating, and it wasn't that pretty... She spent more of her time trying to get away from the weird boy who was trying to get her to go to the Snowball Dance with him last Christmas. Shudder.

Okay. One last try at the cram before we skate. Okay, the ice block over there. Ugly and chipped. "Glisseo." It smoothed over. YES! This is why Salina LOVES Charms! They're FUNFUNFUN!

Let's go skating! Tying up her ice blonde hair into a sloppy bun, Salina took a pair of skates from Professor Descoteaux's desk and put them on. Standing up slowly, she took a look around the classroom-slash-ice rink. "I can do this!" she told herself firmly.

Oh, look! "I'm standing!" Salina cried. "Well, that's an improvement!"

Salina skated around easily for a few minutes before remembering that she was supposed to be glisseo-ing the blue patches.

She pulled out her wand, pointed it directly at the nearest blue patch and said "Glisseo." It slowly became even and faded away.

Skating around a little more, she saw one of the Snakes. She looked a bit worried about losing her balance and was moving very restrictedly.

Gliding over towards her, the girl seemed vaguely familliar. "Hi! I'm Salina, but you can call me Elise if you want... Anyway, I was wondering if you'd like to skate with me. Hopefully I could teach you a little skating? Or just how not to fall?" she smirked, it was a Malfoy thing.

Grinning, she twirled around in a full circle, enjoying the feel of cold air on her face before turning around to face the Snake. Aiden was her name.... she thinks.... "So... do you wanna skate with me, err.... I'm sorry, I'm usually really bad with names, but you're Aiden, right?"

Three down, a lot more to go.

Helena glanced around, even though she was starting to feel kind of tired of skating. She wasn't exactly a sports fan. Especially this kind, where she could easily fall, even though the floor had been charmed. She was really grateful for that.

But then... the girl spotted another green panel, uneven, of course, and said "Glisseo," as she approached it. There. Nice and smooth.

The cold, grey eyes pierce Elise's. She manages to balance herself now, though has no interest in skating. Not after what happened to her about a year ago.

"Yes," responds Aiden briefly as the Raven asked for confirmation of her name. "Never mind. Thanks anyway," she replies with her typical cold and low voice.

Selina smiled at Kurumi as she responded to the younger Gryffindor with some sass. She knew that maybe she wasn't best influence on Kurumi, but hey people rub off on one another. Especially when those people in question spend as much time together as Selina and Kurumi did. "Yeah I think I'm up to the challenge-" But before she could finish what she was saying Kurumi pulled her up on the makeshift contraption. Her eyes bulged out of her head and she fumbled to hold on tight to Kurumi. For a moment she could not formulate sentences until finally one coherent thought passed from her mind to her mouth, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

When Kurumi asked her if she was okay all Selina could respond with was more screaming. What was she on? What is she fell off? What if Kurumi had gone crazy? Finally she responded to Kurumi's question with a stiff head shake. Then she rose her shaky arm with her other still tight on Kurumi and said to another panel, "Glisseoooooooo!" Just at that moment Kurumi made a sharp turn and Selina wanted to throw up. But she looked back and saw the once crimson panel was now white.

This seemed....fun, actually. Samira's been skating before, and had generally good balance, so this should be pretty easy. Not wanting to wear something that had possibly been on other people's feet, Samira pointed her wand at her shoes and said clearly, "Glisseo!" The bottom of her shoes immediately became smooth. Smiling, Samira straightened up. She stumbled a bit at first, then regained her balance and did a few circles. Gleefully, she scanned the area for any green tiles. Seeing some uneven Green tiles in a corner, she skated over and pointed her wand at it. "Glisseo!" The tile became smooth once more and lost it's color. Samira smiled and glided over in search of a new green tile.

As the cold grey eyes of Aiden peirced Salina's warm blue ones, she remembered the reason she had refused the sorting into Slytherin, making her the only Ravenclaw Malfoy so far.

"Alright then." she replied, trying not to look sad. "No problem." she offered a very unconvincing smile as she took off to find more rough patches.

Well, that didn't do much for Salina's low self esteem. Oh, look... A blue patch! "Glisseo." Salina whispered confidently, pointing her wand directly at the blue patch a few feet away from her.

As the patch disappeared, Salina smirked. She's getting good at this.

After smoothing out her first panel, Samira moved backwards in search of others, turning her head back every few seconds to make sure she wasn't running into anything. As she was going, her foot caught on something that sent her lurching forward. She jerked in a bent-down position, and threw her arms out to balance herself. Her legs angled in a sort of halfway split, and she found her self with both hands on the ground, trying to keep her from falling on her face. It took about a second for her to recover from the shock of being in such an awkward position, before she quickly snapped up, almost losing her balance again.

Samira brushed hair from her eyes and continued skating with her head held high and as much dignity as she could muster. Finding another green panel, she moved forward quickly and said, "Glisseo!" The panel smoothed out, and Samira didn't look back as she skated away, in search of a new one.

Helena was really getting tired. Or... well, her feet.

But she also noticed that more Slytherins were joining, so she became more confindent. You know, at least she was not alone. Hehe. But still, she had to look for more uneven panels, which would be like that for a short time. Because Helena was coming after them!

"Glisseo," she said, with her wand pointed towards another one. How many were there by now? Four? Five?

Samira's eye caught on another green panel and she skated over. "Glisseo!" It immediately smoothed out. She watched it the whole time, never really getting over how cool it was. It almost...melted. Skating away a bit, Samira caught sight of a familiar face. "Helena!" she skated over gracefully. "Hey."

Salina moved on in search of more blue panels. Seeing some familar second year faces, she waved a little before searching for more blue patches. Speaking of blue, where WERE all the Ravens?

"Glisseo." she commanded a blue patch. Dang, it wasn't working.

"Glisseo!" she repeated. It dulled a little, but didn't fade.

"Glisseo?" she whispered. And it faded.

Hmmm.... Maybe she's just better with quieter spells. Maybe she'll try nonverbal someday.

"Okay. Three down, loads more to go."

Penny had stood up as directed....and suddenly she was slipping and sliding on the floor....

Landing neatly on her behind, struggling to balance herself, got to her feet again...tottering slightly.
Seeing a yellow panel across the room, Penny walked/slided her way over there and unable to stop - smacked right into it...

Ouch..i need to learn how to stop, seeing the panel, she took out her wand and muttered the charm "Glisseo, the panel lost the yellow coloring it...
On to the next one, she thought, scanning the room for more yellow panels...

Rachel grabbed a pair of skates, ok, careful, dont fall! she told herself, she could not skate, but she glided around the rink like a proffesional skater, she took out her wand and muttered the charm, "Glisseo", the panel lost the blue on it and she moved swiftly on to find another panel.

Penny pushed off from the wall shaking like a leaf..but pleased one down-four to go...oh i don't like this, she thought... moving slowly again over the ice towards the other wall.

Trying to be extra careful not to crash into someone.. reaching the other wall Penny found she was able to slow down some...so smashing into the panel wasn't as painful as last time..

Withdrawing her wand from its holster, she said the charm Glisseo", pointing her wand at the panel - and watched the color leave its surface - it was no longer yellow.. Seeing another panel across from her, Penny started across the floor again smiling, two down-three to go

Nika let out a small sigh. Why did magic have to be so hard!? She looked up at her professor and watched as he demonstrated the different grip. "Okay.." She held up her wand and looked back and forth from her professor's to her own. "Thank you professor." Now to try again...

Ah! No not yet! Nika needs to try out her new grip professor. She's not ready to move on--

Eh. Whatever. She'll get the hang of things.... eventually.

Nika didn't want to use her own shoes so instead she got up out of her chair and walked towards the skates. She carefully slipped them on and held onto her chair as she tried to stay balanced. Great. She can barely walk on regular grass without falling and now they're iceskating... Just her luck. The clumsy lion shall forever fall.

After listening to the instructions Nika tried to "skate" towards a red pannel, but instead just ended up marching towards one. She gripped her wand with the new, tighter grip and took a deep breath. "Glisseo!" Nothing.... She tried again, but this time dramatically waved her wand in the air, "GLISSEO!"

OOOOF O_______O

And there goes Nika. "Ow." Ice hurts.

One more try? Still on the ground Nika pointed her wand upwards at the panel and half shouted, "Glisseo!" One down and-- Nika's down too.

As Samira looked around at all those who were slipping and sliding, losing their balance and falling all over the place, she was extremely grateful that she was graceful and not at all clumsy. She circled around the room a bit, mostly for fun not at all to show off. Hehe

Her eyes automatically caught sight on a green panel, and she quickly moved over before someone else could get to it. "Glisseo!" This was too easy.

Williaqm goes to help Gryffindor. "Willaim points his wand at his shoes and says " Glisseo" He gets skates for his feet. He already knows how to slide as he glisseod his shoes early in this lesson. He pointed to an uneven panel with his wand and called out Glisseo" The uneven panel flattens and the color of this panel is Gold.

Now she was getting bored. Samira lost track of how many panels she's "glissened", and was now just doing as many as she could. The Slytherin skated over to another green one she spotted and said clearly, "Glisseo!" It smoothed out, and Samira resisted the urge to yawn.

Nika somehow managed to get up from her fall and held her hands out to the wall to help her keep balance as she moved on to the next panel. She held out her wand and muttered, "Glisseo" half not expecting it to work. But instead she was surprised when it did work!

Nika Adler got the panel smoothened out on her first try! HAHA! YES!!! YAY for Nika! Now to learn how to skate properly to the next one...

William takes off the skates, He puts his dhoes back on his feet. " Blisseo" Willaim points the wand at his shoes. He slides and glides ro another uneven panel. Willaim points his wand at the uneven panel. He calls out Glissro. " Wow, this is a red and gold flat panel now,

When Samira spotted her clumsy Gryffindor friend, she skated over immediately. "Hellooo, Nika. How's it going?" Before Nika could answer Samira turned and pointed her wand at another green panel. "Glisseo!" Then she turned back to Nika. It was a wonder the girl didn't break anything...yet.

Willaim then used his shoes to go the furthest part of the room. Willaim pointed his wand at the uneven panel. " Glisswo" Wilaim called out. Now that is a panel decked out in red god and with the Gryffindor Lions picture on it.

Eino would much rather cast Glisseo on his stomach again and slide on it, as if he was on a water slide. Plus, he could also pretend he was swimming on flying on the ground, but skating was fun too. He sat back down on his chair, then cast Glisseo on each of his shoes and carefully got back up. It was very slippery. It was much more slippery than an ice rink, but it was a little easier to balance yourself, having your entire feet to support your body, rather than a thin line one metal.

Before actually starting the task, he wanted to get the hang of the skating, so he moved around a small area first, with extended arms to use to balance the rest of his body. When he no longer felt like he needed to keep his arms out, was when he found himself ready to skate on the main floor and begin the task.

He spotted one of the blue uneven panels and skated towards it, but before he could approach it someone else evened it out. "Rats!" He exclaimed as he slapped his thigh. He looked around and saw another blue uneven panel and made his way towards it. He wasn't fast enough, and once again someone else cast Glisseo on it before he got to it. This happened two more times before he angrily shook his fist at the Ravenclaws. Finally, he was able to make way to one blue uneven panel before anyone else, and cast Glisseo on it. Now, he had to find more, and get to them before everyone else.

Helena spotted another green panel and she was about to skate towards it, but then she heard a familiar voice. "He -" ... "- EEEeeey."

Ouch.

She fell again, and this time it was even better. She fell in front of Samira, but at least she didn't fall on the poor girl. People should really stay away from Helena while she was skating and flying. "Glisseo," she mumbled at the panel.
