Nika walked into the charms classroom with a faint smile on her face. Hopefully the professor didn't remember her as "the girl who almost got sick during the final". Even though Nika did turn all green she didn't do all that bad... did she? Nika looked around the room and widened her eyes. "Woah." That's all she could say. The classroom did look pretty cool, literally. It's a shame that charms had to be her worst subject. Nika walked up to her professor slowly and waved. "Hello Professor. I really promise that I will try to improve some this term." She said nodding her head slowly. "How are you doing?" Well if she was the first person she was going to start a conversation.

Lexi made her way into the Charms classroom and squealed with delight. "Oh Professor! It's so beautiful in here!" she exclaimed. Making her way onto the ice rink very carefully she took a seat right near the front and SMILED BRIGHTLY.

As soon as Eino opened the door to the Charms classroom he fell back in awe and confusion. Was this the Charms classroom? He closed the door, looked around, and confirmed that it had been, at least, where the Charms classroom was last year. He opened the door again slowly this time and the ice was still there. "What a curious setting..." He said to himself as he opened the door completely and took a step inside. First the Potions storeroom had caught on fire, and now the Charms classroom had caught on... ice? Once inside, he immediately noticed Professor Descoteaux, which must mean the setting was not an accidental one, but most likely part of the lesson. Relieved, he continued onward towards his usual seat, but not without slipping on the ice a few times and nearly falling on his behind. In the end, he managed to remain in balance and finally sat down. Before taking out his parchment, ink, and quills he waved hello to the professor and then sat quietly waiting for lesson to begin.

Stepping up to the doorway of the charms classroom ready for the first class of the term, Simon was greeted by the room transfixed into a snowy...no icy location much to what outside would soon look like now that December had rolled around. Um...ok, he mused absently to himself carefully stepping inside seeing as one presumable needed to be wary of footing on the floor especially around the desks that appeared to be on an ice rink.

"Good day professor," he greeted the returning charms professor before making his way to a desk and sitting down.

Alfie made her way to the Charms classroom as best she could, her school map held tightly in her pale hands as she made her way up to the third floor. Upon finding the actual classroom she let out a sigh of relief and pulled open the grand door just to find...an ice skating rink? Her blue eyes widened at the sight of it, glancing around to see if any of the other students were here or had even noticed. Was this how it always was?! She noticed one girl speaking with the Professor, one of her teachers who she had yet to meet.

The girl hesitantly made her way into the room with a weak smile, unsure if anyone had taken notice to her presence, and quietly started over to one of the desks on the smooth ice. She looked around the room in wonder as she absentmindedly made her way to one of the desks in the second row of seats. So absentmindedly, in fact, that her shoes (which were quite obviously not equipped for winter weather) slipped on the slick ice. Alfie let out a soft "Woop!" as her eyes widened and she grasped the desk nearest to keep from falling. She managed to keep herself up and her gaze quickly darted to the Professor sheepishly, quickly taking her seat as quietly as possible.

What in the name of Merlin?

Dallin walked into the room slowly, looking all around. Was it not enough that there was no outside, but there had to be some inside, too? He pulled his school robe tighter around him to get warmer, but realized that it wasn't too cold. Weird.

"Hey Professor," he said, waving at the man at the front of the classroom. He stepped carefully onto the ice rink and over to a desk in the center, dropping his bag on the ice next to his feet.

Salander entered the Charms classroom and stopped short "Whoah..." a breathy whisper escaped his lips as he took in the winter wonderland. And suddenly... it brought him fond memories. A nostalgic smile formed on his lips as his eyes brightened up to see his Gryffincess already in the room "Hey howzit goin' Professor Jared!" he greeted the Charms Professor brightly as he took a seat next to Lexi, then nudged her shoulder with his own. "Looks kinda familiar dont it Luv?" he murmured quietly.

Orabelle had read the board and was disappointed to find out she was not to wear heels. Of course, it didn't really matter. Who wore heels in the middle of winter anyways? She wore boots which was very different. But apparently it didn't matter because as she walked into the classroom it looked like a little winter wonderland. It was... actually nice. It was surprising seeing as she hadn't seen much in Hogwarts that had appealed to her yet. But it was nice. maybe she was getting used to Hogwarts, ugh, that was a horrible idea in her head.

"Hello professor," Orabelle greeted before walking over to a table and took a seat, resting her bag on the table. She didn't want her bag to get messed up.

She was still sick...

...And getting worse.

Still not bad enough to miss this class though. One of her favorites, no way. Miss Lovegoods made her way into the classroom, and along with her school uniform and robes, she had her school scarf and old yellow beanie covering her curls. "Hey, Professor." She sent him smiles and fingers wiggles. "The classroom looks.... awesome." Heh.

She sliiiiiiid across the ice rink to the front row and took a seat front and center, bright eyes on the tall man. Hehe.

Alex had warm his comfy sweater today, since the notice on the common room board HAD said it would be chilly. Still, that didn't prepare him AT ALL for what awaited him as he entered the room.

"WHOA," he said, mouth hanging out and eyes blinking as he stared at the winter wonderland in front of him. What on EARTH would they be learning about today that involved THIS? Probably something AWESOME!

"Hey there Professor!" he said happily as he took his spot.

Finally, charms class! Ellie had always loved charms class. Despite being kicked out of the first lesson last year. And she'd always liked Descoteaux. But not in the creepy I-stalk-my-teachers-at-night like. It was the he's-a-good-teacher-and-he-gave-me-tea-when-I-cried like. There was a big difference.

Stepping into the class, Ellie almost had the urge to roll around in the snow and eat the icicles. But... she didn't. Instead she smiled and waved at Descoteaux and spotted her boyfriend in the ice rink. SNORT. Dallin hated snow.

Slipping into the chair next to Dallin she grinned. "This'll be fun, eh?" She teased in a whisper.

Lola entered the classroom, all happy and giddy--her first Charms class at Hogwarts!

Wait.

STOP.

There was something that wasn't right over here...

INTHENAMEOFMERLIN. She was scared, her animal instincts taking over her, and quickly, looking both ways, tip-toed all the way towards the professor. "Professor! Professor! What if some ice wolf or some tangerine comes out and attacks me?! You'll prot--" INSTINCT TOOK OVER HER AND SHE GLANCED BEHIND HER... Suspicious classroom. Suspicious everything--"You'll protect me right?! Swear to it soooooooo, professor!"

Then she breathed like a hyena, fearing a heart attack was about to consume her, and how DEEPLY suspicious this professor was sitting in that chair of his, all laid-back in this kind of environment.

HAD SHE BEEN THE ONLY SANE ON IN HERE?!

Caroline walked into the charms classroom. Finally the first charms lesson of the term. Charms was one of her favorites. Not to mention the professor was pretty awesome. When she entered the classroom it was a true winter wonderland, anything covered in snow and ice. "Hello Professor." She said brightly before taking a seat the the middle of the classroom.

Oakey was thrilled for Charms class to start up. and even more thrilled to have snow inside. a classroom. THIS IS AWESOME! Oakey ran then slide on the ice all the way to a desk. Hello Professor...what was his name, Professor Bentley had mentioned it, Discato, Deskorta, sounds like Disco Toe kind of. Oh well he'll introduce himself properly wont he?

Dallin smiled at Ellie as a greeting, but it was quickly gone when she spoke. Had laughed shortly, shaking his head. "Oh-so fun," he replied sarcastically. At least she'd probably enjoy it, since she liked snow. "I hope we don't actually skate," he added as an after-thought, looking down at the ice. "I don't know how." It'd probably be a funny site to see him try to learn, though.

Carter entered the charms classroom to find it turned completely into a winter wonderland. He was half-tempted to throw a snowball at the professor... but that probably wasn't the best idea. Instead he just entered the classroom. He greeted the professor with a bright "Hello Professor."

He then looked around the classroom. He waved to both Caroline and Simon before heading toward the back. The middle of the room really wasn't his thing. He took a seat toward the back left corner of the classroom and waited for the start of the lesson.

Helena felt really cheerful. Why? Because of the Charms lesson!

She walked towards the classroom, to find... EEEEEP! Snow, ice, whatever there was! "Hello, professor," she said with a biiiig grin. "You did an amazing job here," the girl added, then walked really carefully towards a desk in the front, because everything was on an ice rink. She didn't want to fall again.

Selina walked down the corridor of the Charms hallway with her nose in a book. She was reading this terms game plans for Quidditch that her Captain had explained during one of the earlier practices. If they were going to win this term she would need to know the plays inside and out. They would be hard pressed to beat Ravenclaw this term.

So with her nose and head elsewhere she walked into the Charms classroom. She lifted her head to say her to Professor Descoteaux but could not find her voice when her eyes hit the room. It was beautiful. Everything around her was so magical and mystical. Finally fumbling she found her words, "Morning Professor Descoteaux."

A peal of giggles escaped Lexi before she could stop herself. Hehehe. Nodding her head she smiled dreamily at him. Yep. She knew exactly what he was on about. Their first proper date. GIIIIIGLES!

So the notice on the common room board had said to dress warmly, and Vashti had done so, but she didn't see why it should be cold if they were having class in the classroom. The castle wasn't that cold, so why-

Her question was answered as soon as she opened the classroom door.

There was snow and ice INSIDE. Whyyyy? Wasn't it enough that it happened outside? Why did it need to be in here too? And the desks were on the ice. Which meant she had to try to walk on it. This might not end well.

With her arms slightly extended from her sides in an attempt to maintain balance, Vashti carefully stepped onto the ice as she headed for an empty desk near the front. As she got close, she decided speaking probably wasn't going to unbalance her, so she said, "Hey, Profess- EEEEEEEPP!"

One of her feet had slipped on the ice, and she flailed her arms as she tried to regain her balance. After a few panicked seconds, she managed to get her feet back underneath her and fortunately did not fall. Thank Merlin. She carefully took the last few steps to her seat and sat down with a grateful sigh, sliding her bag off her shoulder and onto the floor - ice - beside her. She then figured she ought to say hi again since the last greeting had been messed up.

"Hi, again," she said, fairly calm now. "Sorry about the yelling, Professor."

Charms was easily, easily, EASILY Ellie's favorite class. She entered with a definite bounce it her step and stopped dead at the door to

GASP

"Little Professor! This is AMAZING!!!" No, really. It was AMAZING. And awesome. And she couldn't possibly even begin to guess what they'd be learning.

She wasn't exactly preoccupied with that, though, because she was flooded with memories instead. Memories of last Christmas AND this past summer.

BEAM.

Ellie slowly, and at first cautiously, made her way to a front row desk INSIDE the ice rink.

If they get to actually skate it, thank Merlin Arya taught her last term. Heh.

Kurumi CERTAINLY hadn't been expecting this, and it showed in the way she marched into the classroom with ever intention of getting to her seat in the front as quickly as possible.

This...ended up being a terrible idea as she managed to lose her footing a bit on the icy floor. However much she wobbled - and she probably resembled a chicken with its head cut off the way she was flailing - she didn't fall over. She assumed this was some sort of charm, but she rather wished that there were none. She probably would have looked less the fool falling over than thrashing about the way she was.

Regaining her composure, Kurumi slooooooooooowly made her way to her desk and sat down.

"Good day Professor," she chirped as she set her parchment and quill down on the table. She took another look around the room. "Are we perhaps learning a modified version of Mizurus boru?" You know, making snowballs instead of water balloons?

Marie made her way to the charms classroom. She really wasn't up for lessons today but she needed to start getting to classes before Lafay called her into her office to ask her why she had been skipping so much lately. Being on Lafay's bad side she did NOT want to be.

Walking into the room she groaned at how it was set up. Really? Snow and ice. Was the professor crazy or what?

Not even bothering to acknowledge the guy she made her way to her customary seat in the back... but there was someone already sitting there... someone she had never seen before.

Well might as well introduce herself to the cute new guy that took her seat.

Walking over and sitting in the seat next to him... the one that wasn't her seat she looked over at him. "Hi, I'm Marie that's my seat you're in and who might you be?" Staring at the guy for a few seconds she blinked a few times... "Carter... is that you?" Whoa... when did he grow up and get so cute... again?

Jai entering the classroom, frowned when he saw a literal winter land set there. His old school was always the bitter version of any winter land. As he continued to his desk he realized that the cold wasn't biting as he expected but was pleasant enough. He nodded to his professor and said,"Hello, professor.". Jai sat down and took in the rest of the class with a new view. It was actually quite pleasant.

He saw Carter and said,"Hey Carter."
