This is what Benjamin's father had wanted him to experience? This place seemed like a nuthouse. Not that he'd ever been to one. Hogwarts RPG Name: Tahir Kovac Khatri First Year | For Ara and Rooster Prefect. I...can't find the right posts. O_O Ama!Nabs IS NAMED MINHO & Is SO Black Panther Right Now The corner of Lulu's smile twitched, her efforts to remain calm faltering. There was just too many cooties pheromones being exuded by the Rooster Prefect. The entire air was heavy with the smell of stench of boy talk that Lulu felt positively nauseous.
Pulling away, since there was no point in dying for Ara, Lulu Patterson placed two hands on the base of her neck.
"Oh. So. Dis-Gus-Ting," she spat through clenched teeth as her brown eyes rolled to the back of her head. Lulu stuck out her tongue and gagged loudly (and obnoxiously). "Get a dungeon, you two!"
And stay in there! Eternally! |

After pondering it and eyeing the people around her, he finally got up. "Okay, maybe you're right..." All prefects should stay together, it looked better. Probably.
..."How are you, so far?" Not bored of people yet? Ah so he WAS coming over? Pfft.. "Nice of you to join us" she raised an eyebrow again and smirked a little. At least she wouldn't be the only one that was introducing herself to all the new firsties, Evan seemed to be joining her with it. "Yeah and you should be too" she folded her arms but let out an even bigger smirk. Man, she liked all this power. "You should learn to multitask, we manage to do it" Trixie finished with a firm nod. "I'm good thanks, keeping up with all these firsties is proving quite tough but no where near as tough as...." she paused as she realised what she was saying, it was true, but she was pretty certain the prefect wouldn't want to know what she was going on about. "...Never mind" she trailed off and looked at her bangle awkwardly. Quote:

"Its a pleasure Simon" she smiled at the younger student and then listened to what he had to say. "I'm fairly certain food isn't considered a subject, well, we did do cooking in Charms once" she thought back to that lesson. Potions? He was looking forward to Lafay's lessons? Heh. "DADA is brilliant, I think its still Headmaster Tate this term" she nodded firmly. Well it had been last term anyway. Quote:

Fallon nodded her head. She was going to have take Trixie's word for that. She herself had never really ridden a horse. Fallon smiled at Trixie. "Thanks. I may just have to take you up on that offer sometime." She definitely was going to. She really wanted to ride a horse.
Fallon nodded. "I didn't know you were a vegan." Then again, she didn't know much about the older girl. They'd only met like once. "The shopping is fantastic! Maybe you could go with me sometime. My grandparents live there." She wasn't going to go into that story. Not even if she was asked. "Yeah I don't think it would exactly be a good idea if I got in trouble, do you?" she asked giggling a little. it wouldn't look good with the badge. "But we could do it one weekend, or if your not found before it gets dark, abandon game and go back to it" she suggested.
Gah now she missed her horses as well. HMPH. "Just let me know if you did want to come visit them? I'd take you out for a ride up the mountains" she informed her.
Hardly anyone knew of her veganism. Heck most of the Professors didn't even know about it. "Yeah, I have been for a very long time, its just something I feel passionately about" the blonde glanced around. "Oh I'd love too, its somewhere I haven't visited" Although Trix had hardly ever gone anywhere, especially if it was maninly Muggle. She knew hardly anything about them, except what she'd read up. She took a seat. She realized she didnt know anybody so she plucked up the courage to say to the girl beside her, "Hi! Im Arabella, but you can call me Bella if you want. Im new." Trixie noticed another young girl enter the room, although this one had actually announced her presence. The Slytherin grinned and turned in her direction. "Hello. I'm Trixie, Head Girl. Was that all he was going to say? Eh she had time, and she would much prefer to talk to someone a little closer to her age. "I'm Trixie by the way, Head Girl" BLah BLah. She didn't like saying that, it made her seem big headed, which, well she was, but it meant that she could help if they needed it. "And you are....?" she asked raising an eyebrow. Quote:

Her head turned to face the source of the voice. "EMMA!" the Slytherin called out down the table. "Thought you would have come say hi to your cousin" she joked, giggling at the end. "Cause.. She hasn't seen you in what? A week" grinned.

Damian noticed that the boy seemed intrigued in her ring. "Aw, it's nothing..." Damian lied as she moved her hand under the table, so that the boy couldn't manage to touch the ring. She didn't want anyone "exploding" at the beginning of the year. "I'm sixteen and a sixth year . I've seen a lot of memories of those who lived here though, but I see the place haven't changed much. Only people. You know, a century ago people were dark... not in an evil way, but in a sad way. They all had lost hope. Even those who were on the side of the dark wizards were "dark" as well. No one believed in a future much..." Damian suddenly stopped talking and looked straight into Simon's eyes.
"So... what's up?" she said in an innocent voice with a slight taste of slyness in it.

So much has changed in a century that she couldn't grasp it all. "The new evil wizard must be from Gryffindor house..." Damian said to herself out loud in a sarcastic voice, then changed it to surprised again and turned to Iris. "Well, my name's Damian. My surname will make the conversation more awkward, so... let's forget I have one. It's also... nice to meet you. Not trying to be more awkward, but... are you cheery slytherin or mean slytherin?" Damian asked the girl as she tried to suppress more and more the excitement in her voice. Iris looked at the girl, with her eyebrow raised. The new evil wizard must be a Gryffindork? "What, exactly, do you mean by that?"
The prefect eyed the girl suspiciously. Why would it make the conversation more awkward? "Well... Um. Nice to meet you too, Damian." She nodded, and tried to smile, whilst also trying to figure out why her surname would be such a problem.
As the odd girl asked this question, Iris laughed. "Usually, I'm a Cheery Snake... Though, I can be mean when I need to be. I suggest against trying to see me like that.... I scare myself, sometimes." The blonde nodded, and shuddered slightly. She really could be very harsh sometimes... That was probably just her Slytherin traits, though. Quote:

His lips curled into a deadly smile. He wanted to argue, he really really did. But again, he just could-not-be-bothered. "Thanks for the warning," he finished, eying her from peripherals. Iris rolled her eyes at the boy, "Yes, she does. Either learn to be nice, or learn how to avoid them." She glared at him, knowing that it would have little affect on him.
She got up, and left, making a note to keep an eye on this kid. Quote:

Ah.
Well that was a thing, wasn’t it? Sitting in what would be his new spot, wouldn’t be simple, not for the man who saw how things used to be, and who used to sit where and… why was there a man in Max’s seat?
It smelled of ministry in here and yet… not. A puzzle for another day, for another brain. Rather than head to the staff table, Truebridge turned his attention to one that was far more constant, and felt more like home. The Slytherin table, naturally.
Those who were first year when he last taught at Hogwarts would be third years now, and many students had graduated of course. There were still hundreds of familiar faces at all four tables, and he remembered the names too, but it was Slytherin he was interested in at that moment.
He stood quietly, just observing. Had they kept their spirit? Had they kept their pride and ambition and not let it waste away like he had found after his return from Azkaban?
More importantly perhaps, had Lafay set any more of them on fire? And why were there so many students from other houses there, interrupting all the green?
Slytherins. Friendly bunch. As she moved away from the nasty little boy, Iris looked up as the doors opened.
...
NO WAY.
Truebridge was back?! He was teaching again?!
Iris grinned, happy to see one of her favourite teachers back. She waved at him, eyes and prefect badge both gleaming, before skipping down to where Trixie and Fallon were sat.
This term suddenly seemed a lot better, now that he was back. Quote:

Hmm, how come he didn't get a shiny badge? Iris grinned at Zoey, happily. Seemed like she'd noticed the teacher. "That there is Professor Truebridge. Interesting man, fantastic teacher. He's been gone a while... but that's a story you'll have to find out from him." Iris said, as she popped back into the seat next to Fallon. "So, Zoeeey. What classes are you looking forward to most this term?" She asked, filling her goblet with some water. Quote:

Fallon looked around the hall and over at the Ravenclaw table. She thought immediately of Finn. The guy she needed to talk to Iris about. "Iris. I just remembered something. Tonight I need to talk to you about something." She hoped Iris didn't think it was anything bad because it really wasn't.
--- As Fallon finished talking with Trixie, she let her eyes wander down the table. She was taking in all of the firsties, when she spotted someone that seemed a little out of place. There was a Ravenclaw Prefect among their midsts. Fallon looked at Finn and shot him a smile before turning back to Iris and Trixie. She could feel the blush rising to her cheeks already. Iris grinned and giggled. "Of course it's a good point." WOOO! Partiiiiiies. "So, we both have huge Coming of Age parties, no exceptions." Iris take a gulp of her water, then eyed Fallon as she spoke up again. "... Oooh. You do? Is it important?" She grinned slightly because she could tell that it wasn't a bad piece of information. Fallon had a small smile on her face, for one.
For a while, Iris just sat and listened to everyone talking, not really bothered about not talking too. Then, she noticed Fallon looking somewhere... and blushing. FALLON WAS BLUSHING?! The prefect turned her head slightly, to try and see where Fallon was looking. There were too many people to be able to single anyone out, though. "Faaaallon... Why're you blushing?" She asked, with a small giggle. Quote:

Third year running" she smirked a little as she spoke of the points. Those, PRECIOUS points.
The Blonde noticed that Iris was looking down at her wrist, obviously spotting Trixie's precious bracelet. "It was my seventeenth Birthday present, Oliver made it" she spoke but did not look up, instead choosing to look at the delicate bangle. "I haven't taken it off since he gave it to me" she smiled weakly. "Heh. He probably wouldn't accept it" she bit her lip, he never did. Well apart from his birthday present, GAH she wanted a lightsaber battle right now. "Its a good idea though" she looked up with a gentle smile.
As Trixie talked, Iris just smiled. "I suppose that's fair enough, then... You're right though. There are a lot more than usual... Lets hope they're all good students though. If they're all a nasty bunch, then we're going to have a harder chance of getting it three times in a row."
And Iris didn't like that idea. Nu'uuh... Not one bit. This year, they were going to get the Quidditch cup AND the House cup. Ch'yeah. "It's really pretty." She said, simply. Iris smiled slightly, at Trixie's comment about not having taken it off.
Iris snorted. "I'll break into his apartment and use a permanent sticking charm to glue it to his wall, so he'll have to accept it." She said. Even though she sounded like she was joking, Iris meant it. She honestly would do that.

Emma hugged him back. She smiled happily. "Yes, I knew you would be! And plus, green suits you well!" she added with a Malfoy smirk, however green did suit him well. She grinned.
"That's wonderful!" she added. Most of the Slytherins were very welcoming. Well actually the whole house was, some people liked to paint Slytherins as evil people... Hmm.. He chuckled wiggling his eyebrows at his partner. "You really don't waist any time do you?" he smirked. How long had she been there? A minute? Hehe. Then you can do my essays in that subject. Arthimancy is not my strong side." he muttered with a slight wince. Durmie? Durmie?! He knew Hyun would destory him if he laughed so he just cleared his throat to cover up the small laugh that had erupted. Aw, that's cute calling Durmstrang Durmie.
Another quidditch mate, awesome. "Ah me too, I'll be trying out for a beater position." he nodded. He'd been a beater at his last school, besides he wanted Slytherin to win the quidditch cup. Because well, they deserved it. "What position do you play?" "Like i'm going to do your essays on any subject" he said with a roll of his eyes. "Well, maybe i would if you dare to walk up to the staff table while doing a graceful ballet performance and singing the Opera.." Hyun grinned back at Alex. Or was it something to grin about? His grin turned in to a shocked expression for a second. Wait, he wouldn't actually do that just to get him making his homework ...right? Oh dear Merlin, just say no, please!.
Hyun quickly tried to say something else just to get Alex thoughts away from him doing his essays when they both came on the subject they liked. "I'm not in the team, yet" he said with a small smile on his lips. "But i plan on going for a chaser position" Hyun let out a yawn which he covered with his hands. He was bored and needed some action...or just a comfortable bed? ..naaaah not now. "There really is nothing to do around this feast rather than talk and eat?" he asked while looking around at the other students.

Zoey looked over as somebody plopped down near her. Oh good, Iris was back.
Hmm, so mister important was a Professor. Truebridge. Huh, and he'd been gone for a while.... Weird. Maybe she'd go ask him about it Actually she might come to think of it. He sounded nice
She shrugged. "Runes I think, we never did much of it at home. And Care of Magical Creatures I always liked alot." It was true, though dragons didn't usually run around in the middle of Alaska. Hmm. Did they have dragons in England? "What about you?" Zoey asked. To be honest, she wasn't entirely sure which classes they had here. Obviously Charms and Transfiguration and Potions but there were probobly quite a few more.

She didn't mind Finn since she knew him, didn't mind his company, and she thought this was a whoooole start to a good friendship (maybe), but...she could not see him. Technically, if she craned her neck or her back she could, but that just irritated the heck out of her. Frowning, she kinda...pushed him gently to the side a bit more.
Hehe, there we go. "Hey Finn." Okay. So he was kind of getting some weird looks. Maybe it was because he was in like blue, when they were all in green. Maybe coming over here wasn't such a good idea. But he was a prefect, so he was going to stay over hehe. For a while at least hehe. And Evelyn hadn't like told him to go away yet, so everything was totally fine.
But she had pushed him over. Oh. Couldn't she see him? Maybe he should've like sat down before he'd talked to her, because that would've been better, but she had spoken to him now, so he was in a good position now? Finn asssumed anyway, because well she was saying hi to him. He nodded at her, and smiled. Heyy slythie girl. Quote:

She reached over and squeezed his arm again, this time hanging on and not letting go. "But the soup was yummy." Finn grinned at her, as he reached forward, and took another bread roll. They were yummy, and he didn't really feel like eating that much. He was too busy talking to her. Mmm. She was holding onto his arm again, well she really did like his arms, and he totally didn't mind it. "Good thing I came over here then." Wouldn't want her losing the attention she so obviously wanted. Yeah....he'd give her lots of attention. Quote:

"Oh. So. Dis-Gus-Ting," she spat through clenched teeth as her brown eyes rolled to the back of her head. Lulu stuck out her tongue and gagged loudly (and obnoxiously). "Get a dungeon, you two!"
And stay in there! Eternally! Disgusting? Finlay laughed, as he watched the girl. He didn't even know her name. haha. Maybe he should introduce himself. Get a dungeon? Mmm. He didn't really fancy thaat, because well they were cold right? "I'm good....I already have a tower." Yeah. Cause he was ravenclaw right? They lived in a tower?

As the odd girl asked this question, Iris laughed. "Usually, I'm a Cheery Snake... Though, I can be mean when I need to be. I suggest against trying to see me like that.... I scare myself, sometimes." The blonde nodded, and shuddered slightly. She really could be very harsh sometimes... That was probably just her Slytherin traits, though. Damian raised her eyebrow too. "Well, if Slytherins are suddenly nice and allow other houses by their table, it only means that the most evil wizard of all times must come from Gryffindor." Damian laid her hands and her head on the table as she listened to the prefect. "Oh, I don't mind. I can take any kind of beats and I can give back twice of what's coming towards me but... it doesn't matter. I'm planning to use my best curses on Gryffindors..." Damian took a deep breath as she stopped talking to examine Iris. She had to be sure that she WILL get her message wrong.

Iris listened to Zoey, and smiled . "Runes is always a lot of fun..." Iris looked up to the Dias. Hmm.. the pretty blonde professor from last term was gone. Lets hope that this term will still be full of fun Runes lessons . "Like, last term, we had a camp out... and we had to use the runes to 'protect' our camp. Lots o' fun."
Care of Magical Creatures... Iris didn't like so much. Not since that Niffler bit her. "Ah... Well. I personally don't enjoy that class. Bad experiences. A lot of other people enjoy it, and I'm sure you will, too." With a small encouragine smile, Iris nodded.
Me?
...
Iris hadn't really given that much thought. She just enjoyed some of the classes without thinking about it. "Well... Transfiguration and Charms are what I'm best at. Arithmancy and Runes are always fun... Flying and Potions I don't go to anymore."
Flying, that reminded her! "Zoey, do you fly? If you do, you should try out for the Quidditch Team." She said, simply. Iris hadn't ever been to a Quidditch Tryout. She couldn't fly. Though, she'd been less scared of it since those 'flying' horses in Charms last year. She was going to be there, watching the Tryouts though. For Aaron's sake.

"DADA is brilliant, I think its still Headmaster Tate this term" she nodded firmly. Well it had been last term anyway. "Same here." Simon grinned. Simon knew food wasn't considered a subject, but he just couldn't get that out of his mind. *Sigh* Wow, the Headmaster actually taught a lesson? That would be an interesting thing to see...well, not as much as his mom being one of his professors back in the States. The boy was a tad excited to meet all his professors, he wondered if they were all nice and stuff. "Hey Trixie, as a heads up, what professor should I look out for?" he asked. Simon did not want to get in any of their bad sides, yet. Quote:

"I'm sixteen and a first year but I'm... kinda familiar to this place. I've seen a lot of memories of those who lived here... centuries ago, though, but I see the place haven't changed much. Only people. You know, a century ago people were dark... not in an evil way, but in a sad way. They all had lost hope. Even those who were on the side of the dark wizards were "dark" as well. No one believed in a future much..." Damian suddenly stopped talking and looked straight into Simon's eyes. She had to be careful not to say too much. "So... what's up?" she said in an innocent voice with a slight taste of slyness in it. "Okay." Simon mumbled, although his curiosity was sparked even more. "Did you just say that you saw the memories of people who lived here?" he asked. Maybe she had this cool super power or something. What Damian told him was quite intriguing, that he found himself listening closely, but then she stopped. "How do you know so much of the past?" she seemed like a very smart girl to Simon.
All of the sudden she changed the subject. Aw, man. "Nothing much." Simon smirked. She was a quick thinker, he could tell. "Just enjoying the feast....Did you know the Sorting Hat wanted to place me in Gryffindor." he commented with somewhat of a disgusted voice. Might as well start some conversation.

No distraction, back to... the firstie whose name he didn't know. Drawing his wand, he conjured a small napkin with a wrist movement of his. "Here you are," he handed it with a smile. Wow, this boy was either strong at charms, or he had studied a bit at home, because he, Evan Cartwright himself, still had a few problems with that Accio! thing. "What was your name, by the way?" he asked. The boy had never told his name, come to think about it... surely Evan couldn't have forgotten it that fast, could he? Nuuu, he'd been too occupied by the... bone that he must have forgotten to introduce himself. Anyways... The blond had a feeling that name would be asked a few more times anyway by him, because he'd learnt far too many names to remember tonight.
Evan beamed at Truebridge mention again. "Yeah, he's still so loved..." Looking around, he lowered his voice. Lafay wasn't even around, but he didn't want to risk his own life. Leaning over his ear, he whispered again "See, the new Head of House--Professor LaFla--Lafay is a bit... different." He straightened up. Different wasn't exactly the word, it was far too vague and insufficient to define LaFay... but still, he didn't want to frighten him on the first day of school. He'd see by himself anyway, soon.
And what did Truebridge teach? "He did history and DADA, but I don't know what this year." Being quite a capable man, he could do anything.
Still, please not divination, though. Or care of magical creatures. My name's Benjamin Trevors. First year if you couldn't tell. Thank you for the napkin. So i'm guesing that this Lafay person is a total hard mules butt. Well my grandfather said snape was the same way when he taught potions. He said that Snape was thehouse head of Slytherin, and always paid more attention to his fellow Slytherin's, and just a couple of Gryffindor's while he was here."
Benjamin saw that Evan was astonished that he was 11 and had accio figured out.
"My father taught me alot of charms and spells while we waited to get my letter and come here. Accio was the first one we went over, and I learned it well. t was awful to be taught by him. If I hadn'tlearned the lesson he had planned out, he used his wand as a whip and slashed me with it. I have a vert strict family. I won't even show you what he did to my knees to my neck and down to my wrists."
Benjamin looked at the bone and decided to give it to him once he found him.
"Are the owls already being taken to the owlery tower, or do we do that ourselves?"

A question that even Damian did not expect to be asking to anyone at all. "Do you have a Slytherin blood line in your blood line?" "We're not suddenly nice. It took years and years for us to get like this. Most Slytherin's have realised that you don't have to hate someone because they've got a red sash on their robes." Iris shrugged, but kept her eyes narrowed. "Who says there has to be an evil wizard. The world is allowed to live in peace, sometimes."
The prefect scoffed, and rolled her eyes at the comments. "You've not seen some of the duellers in this house. You might find yourself regretting that."
WOAHWAITWHAT?! CURSES?!
Iris didn't think so! "You'll be using no curses at all, unless it's part of DADA. Which I highly doubt." Iris spoke plainly, not caring to put any kind of emotion into her words. There didn't need to be. Cursing people was a no no... regardless of who you are or how good you think you are.
Iris frowned at the girls next question. "I don't understand what you mean... I'm the first person in my family who came to Hogwarts... so, no. I don't have any Slytherin in my bloodline." |

Ehh...she would be in 2 weeks though! "I thought so. Do you like studying and all that work? You do have some pretty major exams at the end of this year," she remarked, turning to look at the food. Hmm...what would she eat next time?
Then she turned to look back at him and he winked at her. Wha----he seriously just winked at her? Oh gosh... " Mmm can't wait," she added, rolling her eyes as she looked away. What did she do? " I attended Beaxbatons....that's about it. And you?" She was too young to work. Besides taking care of her baby sister's....

Damian held a slightly sarcastic pause before speaking anything out loud. A sly smile came across her face as she didn't bother to reply. Her eyes held everything she had to know. Her intentions were pure malevolent - to say whatever's on her tongue and see who's worthy of trusting. Apparently it worked when a person was thought to be an authority. But did Damian see Iris the way Iris saw herself? No. "Pitty..." Damian finally said to the girl, her eyes reflecting deep sadness.

"Say anything else and you will have the Head Girl to answer to" she GLARED at him more before turning away. He was not worth her energy and she was upset enough, she didnt need to add anger to her list of emotions.
Lamar’s face broke out into a small grin. Yes, yes he understood that she was head girl. And the fact that she even looked to her badge seemed comical to the second year… but he surpressed the laughter. Head Girl?, he mouthed with a fake expression of fear. “Better not say anything else then,” he said, and gave the seventh year a salute.
Heaving a sigh of relief as the Head Girl left, Lamar took a bite of his food. Quote:

Dark eyes darting back to the Prefect, Lamr smiled. “Thanks for you’re…” He looked to the ceiling, decided to change his choice of words last minute… “wisdom.”
Grinning smugly to himself as she took off, Lamar took just another bite. Finally a bit of peace.

But Patterson was back at it… calling him a dimwit and such. Woofle simply put a finger to his mouth to shush her, but she had already turned around to face the opposite direction by then.
