"You'll be using no curses at all, unless it's part of DADA. Which I highly doubt." Iris spoke plainly, not caring to put any kind of emotion into her words. There didn't need to be. Cursing people was a no no... regardless of who you are or how good you think you are.

Iris frowned at the girls next question. "I don't understand what you mean... I'm the first person in my family who came to Hogwarts... so, no. I don't have any Slytherin in my bloodline."

Damian held a slightly sarcastic pause before speaking anything out loud.
A sly smile came across her face as she didn't bother to reply. Her eyes held everything she had to know. Her intentions were pure malevolent - to say whatever's on her tongue and see who's worthy of trusting. Apparently it worked when a person was thought to be an authority. But did Damian see Iris the way Iris saw herself? No.
"Pitty..." Damian finally said to the girl, her eyes reflecting deep sadness.
