Katie blushed, OH NOES! Katie was blushing and that was bad, she didn't want people to know she baked, "I'll make sure the bakery gets your comment" Katie smiled.
Tay noticed Katie blush- she blushed?! She had a sneaky feeling Katie was behind these cakes- but she obviously didn't want to own up to it yet, so she wouldn't say anything- "Good!" she giggled with a radiant smile.

Hmm. Finlay had still not been to the ravenclaw table, but something was drawing him to the slytherin table. Probably because he had some unfinished business with Evelyn. He had found it quite funny how they had both seemed to have the same opinions about Gryffindors, although he seemed to be a little bit more fond of them. Not that it mattered at least they had something in common.
That was why he was kind of headed down that way. As well as the fact that he wanted to get to know Marie better too. So that the girl didn't think he was just a best friend punching guy. Because he totally wasn't. He was nice and cool.
Now he just had to find them, which could be interesting, because all the people here were wearing green robes, although he hadn't though any different. Aah. There they were. Hmm. Finn approached them, glancing around at the others at the table. They wouldn't mind right? That he was here even though he was a ravenclaw. "Marie...Evelyn.." He nodded at them both, still standing behind them

A flash of yellow went before Lamar's eyes. WHAT WAS A HUFFLEPUFF DOING HERE. "You must be lost. All the dimwits are," he gestured toward the Hufflepuff table, "Over there."
Clearing his throat, the second year took a sip from his Goblet.
"Leave. Now."
She stood there with a smirk on face.
"Well you must be a firstie because here in this world people arent as rude as you." She smiled weakly and waited for the boy to retaliate she knew he would "Besides Im not looking for you. So leave me alone."

"H-H-H-Hello," Kurumi mumbled bowing slightly to the new girl. She had seen her around, or at least thought she had, but the two had never really talked before.
She smiled at her. "Helloo~ Awwwh, don't be scared, I don't bite," she said. Ah, honestly, it was like the girl was afraid of Slytherins or something. And if she was afraid of Slytherins she didn't get why she would make cookies for them. "Oh, yummy cookies by the way," Selena added. Mmmmhmm. Because everyone loved cookies.

Sooo, Slytherin..
It wasn't any surprise that Nathan ended up in this house, because Slytherin's traits practically defined him as a person. Although, maybe a few years ago, he would have ended up in Hufflepuff, or something. He used to be a bit of a pansy, you see. He knew all of this information due to his extensive research about Hogwarts before he arrived. Sitting down at the correct table, Nathan's eyes darted around the Great Hall for his best friend, but he was no where to be seen. Actually, it crossed his mind that Elliott could very well be in Hufflepuff himself.... *whistle*
He tapped his fingers together lightly out of nervousness, which felt weird, but then he finally started to tuck in on the feast. He wasn't totally sure about what he was consuming, but it tasted ice so he continued, yup.

She looked over maybe this would be a nicer slytherin. She hoped so she sat down at the table next to the boy. "Hello," she said being friendly "Im Rene. Im a Hufflepuff seventh year. What about you?" Giving the boy a smile hoping he would be nice.

Yea, she had still kept an eye on that box.
Could the Slytherin girl blame them though? Their house was pretty awesome.
Except, that Gryffindork dog was contaminating it. Woah, woah, woah, hold up here. Was that...That was that one girl she had seen in the candy store, wasn't it. She was a first year? Ugh, a first year here and already making poor decisions. Sighing, Evelyn rubbed the temples of her head, blinking a few times and staring at the table in front of her before taking a peak down the table again-
For the love of Merlin, why was she talking to that dork? Shaking her head dramatically, the dark haired girl stood up and made her way down the table just as Rex was leaving before taking a seat next to Candy Store Girl.
-stare-
Yes, we are staring at you Candy Store Girl.
So you know that feeling you get when someone is staring at you? That's the exact feeling that washed over Sierra the second she'd said goodbye to that boy who'd claimed her mum would make a great Minister. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see that the person now next to her was taller, older, yet--staring at...her?
Sierra blinked and turned slightly to the side, getting a full view of the girl who was, yes--staring right at her. Merlin! That didn't look like a good type of stare either. Apparently, she'd done something to shake this one's rattlers.
...but what, was the question. Sierra didn't have much time to think it over, because another Slytherin girl, one who knew the first girl to be called Ev, approached the table.

After glancing at the Ravenclaw table and not seeing Jimmy there yet she made her way to the Slytherin table. Hmm, where to sit. With her She-Snake friends that's where. Spotting Evelyn sitting with... not Destiny but some little girl she went and sat with them. Of course she sat so her back was to the wall, that way she would be able to see everyone that came in.
"Hey Ev, who's your little friend here?" She asked while looking between the two girls sitting across from her.
And where was Destiny?
Little friend?! Inside, Sierra was scowling over being called little, but on the outside, her facial expression remained blank. She was being stared at right now, so that matter was a little more important. Little friend made her suddenly wish she wasn't so short, though. Why couldn't she have been like Alex, eleven-years-old and the height of a small mountain troll? Ugh. Then again, she imagined being the height of a small mountain troll wasn't fun either.
"I'm Sierra Greingoth," she answered, turning to her attention to the girl who'd just walked up. Her gaze traveled from one girl to the other, and suddenly recognition dawned on her. The first girl--she knew her! "Ohh, you're the girl from Sugarplum's, right? That cretaceous old hag line," she said, "...was great. Even though what happened afterward just proves how crazy that shopkeeper really is." After all, she'd langlocked this girl and nearly petrified Sierra!

Professor Truebridge was back!!!
Turning back to Evelyn she said in a rather cheery voice. "Hey Ev, look who's back." She knew he would bring a smile to Ev's face, even if she was having a bad day.
If they were lucky he would come talk to them. If not, well they would just have to follow him to the staff table.
Even though she hadn't been the one the comment had been addressed to, Sierra instinctively turned to look at whoever it was that had apparently come back. The man looked mysterious as he observed their table in his dark shades. Sierra wondered if he was a professor or some sort of secret service agent. He surely fit the bill for both.
"Who's he?" she asked the girl, whose name she still hadn't caught on to yet.

Ethan Truebridge even pushed his glasses up into his hair. Then, after a lengthy pause, he inclined his head in greeting.
And actually smiled.
Again, even though Sierra wasn't directly involved in the interaction, she gave the mysterious man a small smile in return. She knew this type, and she'd already made up her mind that she didn't want to get on mystery man's bad side.

Congratulations!" he got one of the Slytherin cookies out and handed it to her "Here, something to welcome you to this most awesome house."
He turned his attention back to the 5th year girls when he noticed them talking excitedly over a man looking at their table. He furrowed his brows at said person and couldnt recall ever seeing him before. "Who dat?" he asked them, tilting his head at the direction of the stranger.
Sierra's attention was drawn away from the mysterious man when she heard someone call her name. Turning around, she came face to face with Salamander, that boy she'd met on the platform. Smiling proudly, she said, "Of course I got sorted into Slytherin. I wouldn't have had it any other way." She was pleased, too, to see that he was a snake, as well. Anyone named Salamander seemed to fit best in a house full of snakes. "...and thanks for the cookie. Did you make it?"
Her attention was drawn away, however, when Salamander asked about the mysterious man. Sierra turned to face the man once again, listening to hear if anyone knew who he was. Apparently, the two girls did.

It'd be a shame if she was sorted into Hufflepuff.
The Hat finally decided at last, and even he clapped at the decision. That was good. Smiling at her as she walked up to this table, he got up to greet her, and walked up to where she sat.
"Congratulations on making it into the best house," he winked. "We've already met at the train, but," He had to chuckle at that, "I'm Evan Cartwright. Your prefect this term." She must have figured that much out, but further instructions wouldn't hurt.
...and then she was being approached by someone else--one of the Slytherin prefects, she recalled. She knew this, of course, because she'd sort of accidentally made her way into their compartment on the train and obliviously stayed for a while.
This one liked to wink, too. He'd done the same thing when she'd called that Hufflepuff a Puffer Boy, a term she assumed he thought was pretty appropriate. He hadn't tried to take up for Puffer, at least. "Oh, I wouldn't have had it any other way," she proudly replied. "I'm Sierra Greingoth, just in case you didn't pick up on that on the train." After all, Cedric had at least said her first name a few times.

Funny, how in his mind, he was just Hufflepuff-bashing, and then one of them approaches him, heh. "My name is Nathan, and I am a fifth year Slytherin." He explained with a firm nod. OH, then he smiled. Because he probably looked like a right meanie until that point.
"Nice to meet you." He hadn't expected to talk to a Hufflepuff at the Slytherin table. Even though it was nice to meet someone, he would also want to meet fellow Slytherins. But eh, oh well. At least 'Hufflepuff' was a cool name.

Selena saw someone wearing scarlet robes walk over to the Slytherin section. She was tempted to ask if the girl was lost, but decided that it was probably best not to say, so instead she walked over to the girl and smiled. "Hello there~" she greeted. Ah, the start of term feast was always a good time to make new friends after all, right? Of course. "I don't mean to be rude, but may I ask, what are you doing at the Slytherin table? You are a Gryffindor, right?" she asked, slightly amused.

Hyun followed alex's nod with his gaze towards the other side of the room towards the table which he guessed was where the girl was from. Atleast, they had the same badges as Kurumi so it had to be right? Upon hearing the name Alex said Hyun had to frown slightly. Why where there such weird house names?!

He took another sip from his drink and placed the goblet back on the table and then looked over at the staff table. "Wonder who teaches what subject" he muttered as he looked at the back of the Great Hall. Brigid sat down at the Slytherin table and looked around. She knew nothing about Slytherin but the good thing was that green looked so much better on her than yellow, red, and blue. What she saw was...weird. Brig had thought this sorting thing meant rivalry but everyone from each House knew...everyone. They were all at each other's tables talking like they were best friends. 'So weird.' In front of her was several large platters filled with all sorts of foods. Not sure what else she should do, Brigid places some food on her plate and began eating.

Arabella-Marie grinned at Selena and said "Cool nice to meet you Selena, I am Arabella-Marie Kingston, called Arabella for shortness and i am a second year Gryffindor" Arabella-Marie liked getting on with Slytherin's because well they were cool and she didn't care about the past relationship between Slytherin and Gryffindor

She looked at the boy as he attempted to swallow the amounts of food in his mouth and began to laugh a bit. "Nice to meet you, Nathan." Maybe all snakes werent mean and hard to me around. She tought about her friend Fee, they had gotten along all summer without a hint of bitting wits. So why was it so hard for the rest to act like her. "Fifth year. So its OWLs for the both of us this year." She said just trying to have some friendly talk.
She noticed his smile and returned it. She grabed some grapes and poped two in her mouth. She loved grapes.
...and then she was being approached by someone else--one of the Slytherin prefects, she recalled. She knew this, of course, because she'd sort of accidentally made her way into their compartment on the train and obliviously stayed for a while.

Oooh, sos he was proud to be Slytherin. Good. Evan smiled at her. "We're glad to welcome you, Sierra," he said with a nod. He remembered the surname from somewhere, but he couldn't remember exactly. It was weird, because Greingoth wasn't exactly the surname you heard everyday... He shrugged it off though, he'd ask later.
"Excited for the term?" he asked, even though it was quite obvious she was. Who wouldn't be, it was Hogwarts, a magical place after all.
"Of course it's a great idea!" Iris exclaimed. Who wouldn't want a giant, magical coming of Age party. "Pfft. We can still celebrate yours! It'll just have to be outside of school." Ch'yeah right. Like Iris wasn't going to have the opportunity to celebrate one of her best friend's birthday's in the biggest, bestest way possible? Fallon was mental.
Fallon jumped a little at her friend's over enthusiasm. She liked parties, but she didn't think she needed to be THAT enthusiastic. "Good point." She giggled because she didn't know why she didn't think of it before. They both had houses perfect for giant parties and Iris would be able to do magic outside of school by then.
Fallon looked around the hall and over at the Ravenclaw table. She thought immediately of Finn. The guy she needed to talk to Iris about. "Iris. I just remembered something. Tonight I need to talk to you about something." She hoped Iris didn't think it was anything bad because it really wasn't.

Fallon smiled. "Really? That's so awesome!" She wished she had horses. She'd even settle for a dog. Why was she thinking of dogs, they were talking about horses. "That sounds like fun to me." She thought that would be an awesome way to spend the summer.
Fallon giggled along with Trixie. "It was. But I missed Hogwarts so much. The only thing that kept Hogwarts off of my mind was the food and the shopping." Without those two things, Fallon didn't think she would have survived.

Finn approached them, glancing around at the others at the table. They wouldn't mind right? That he was here even though he was a ravenclaw. "Marie...Evelyn.." He nodded at them both, still standing behind them
As Fallon finished talking with Trixie, she let her eyes wander down the table. She was taking in all of the firsties, when she spotted someone that seemed a little out of place. There was a Ravenclaw Prefect among their midsts. Fallon looked at Finn and shot him a smile before turning back to Iris and Trixie. She could feel the blush rising to her cheeks already.
Elizabeth Woods was in Slytherin. The House in which all her ancestors and family had been put in. Deep down, Elle was really, really proud of herself.
Though she had a small cut on her arm which she had gotten during the ride in the Express, it didn't bother her anymore, which had a while ago caused by her phobia of dirt. Luckily, she found an empty space near her four brothers. Elle was giddy, and couldn't hide it. Her brothers grinned at her and patted her back, congratulating her all at once. After a few seconds of absorbing all that had happened since her first set foot on Hogwarts' area, she began eating. At first, shy. But as she got used to it, she stuffed herself up and gave herself a smile.
Now, where were Alex, Dianna, Selena, Freya, Fee and Cass?

Turning from Sierra to the Sorting Hat again as it shouted his house's noble name, Evan smiled at the approaching girl. "Welcome to the best house!" he greeted happily. "I'm Evan Cartwright, your prefect for this term." And for the next one, hopefully.
Benjamin finished his elf cooked turkey leg. and dropped the bone on the floor behind him. He didn't know what to do with the bone. He just hoped noone else saw what he did.He overheard a neme Truebridge?he leaned over to the nearest person and asked, "Who is Truebridge? And what does he mean to us?"
This is what Benjamin's father had wanted him to experience? This place seemed like a nuthouse. Not that he'd ever been to one. But with all of the craziness he saw just going on at the Slytherin table, he held his wand close to his body, just in case a fight started.

"Yeah, it does go pretty early- I don't mind though!" she said cheerily- she could be way too happy at times, but right then she had a lot to be happy about! So of course she could act a little... giddy.
"Ha, duhh, yeah I knew that- I just meant in general- all the work and stuff- I don't want it to start!" she laughed, smiling at him kindly.
"I'm just thinking about what i'm going to do when school finishes- as in- after 7th year, I know it's a while off yet though... I did some modelling over the summer for some of my Mum's friends- it was so fun- and the pictures were awesome. But I don't know if i'd see that as a job- maybe I should just go into the Ministry." she laughed.
Alex chuckled, really nothing seemed to bring Taylor down, that was good. "You seem very happy, something special?" he winked.
"Yeah well me neither, I'm trying not to think about all the homework." he winced. Ugh, that made him want to hop up on his broom and fly away. Literally. "And we shouldn't think about homework tonight." It was a feast after all, the term would be starting tomorrow.
He raised his eyebrows and laughed. "My, my Taytay. Thinking about work already? You're twelve!" Oh good, stating the obvious Alex.

"Gryff...Griffin , no wait, Gryffindeor!" mwahaha he had it right...he did, right? Mweh not like he really cared. He would learn the names of the houses soon enough. "Just curious, i don't know what houses there are at this..." he looked around the great hall with a frown on his features. "School" he added and looked back at Alex with a small grin on his face. He took another sip from his drink and placed the goblet back on the table and then looked over at the staff table. "Wonder who teaches what subject" he muttered as he looked at the back of the Great Hall. "What subject are you looking out for?" he asked Alex and Kurumi, if she was listening, while still gazing at the staff table.
Alex chuckled when Hyun tried the word out. He had to admit the names were a bit odd. Awesome but odd. "Close enough man." at least the people would know what he meant when he said 'Gryffindeor'.
He turned his head towards the staff table. "Yeah..." he mused looking at the professors. They all looked kind of... intimidating. "I only know one. The Potions master." he nodded towards the woman that Fee and the others had been talking about. "Lafayette... Layatte..." Nah, he didn't remember. "Something like it." he shrugged with a grin. From what he had heard, not very pleasant. *shudder*
"Looking out for? Definitely Arthimancy." he muttered. Math and numbers and ugh... Flying and Defence Against the Dark Arts were more his style.

"Elle!" Alex called out and waved her over. He was really happy that they both had been sorted in Slytherin. As it was meant to be. "Slytherin girl." he chuckled.

"It's nice to meet you too Arabella," Selena said, "that's a really pretty name," she added. It kinda reminded her of her cousin's name, just that she didn't really like that cousin that much. She had no idea why though. "So, are you new to Hogwarts? Or have you attended a few terms already?" she asked, she was never really sure with these kids popping in and out.

Selena smiled at Elle who was placed in Slytherin. She waved at the girl before realizing she couldn't see her. Eh, she walked over to her and sat down across. "Congratulations on Slytherin!" she said. Ah, it was the best house after all, and Elle seemed quite happy to be in here as well.
