Wow, this boy was either strong at charms, or he had studied a bit at home, because he, Evan Cartwright himself, still had a few problems with that Accio! thing.

"What was your name, by the way?" he asked. The boy had never told his name, come to think about it... surely Evan couldn't have forgotten it that fast, could he? Nuuu, he'd been too occupied by the... bone that he must have forgotten to introduce himself. Anyways... The blond had a feeling that name would be asked a few more times anyway by him, because he'd learnt far too many names to remember tonight.

Evan beamed at Truebridge mention again. "Yeah, he's still so loved..." Looking around, he lowered his voice. Lafay wasn't even around, but he didn't want to risk his own life. Leaning over his ear, he whispered again "See, the new Head of House--Professor LaFla--Lafay is a bit... different." He straightened up. Different wasn't exactly the word, it was far too vague and insufficient to define LaFay... but still, he didn't want to frighten him on the first day of school. He'd see by himself anyway, soon.

And what did Truebridge teach? "He did history and DADA, but I don't know what this year." Being quite a capable man, he could do anything.

Still, please not divination, though. Or care of magical creatures.

Fallon smiled at Evan. "Yep. You never did get to meet my little brother..." Oh well. There was always the holidays. Maybe she could have people over seeing as her dad already said that he wanted her home for them. "So how have you been since the last time we spoke?"

Then she saw the look he was giving her. She also noticed that he had seen her looking at Finn. Uh oh. She was caught by someone that was not Iris. Great. Fallon knew that look on his face. He wanted to know what was up with her. She just blushed deeper. She didn't want anyone but Iris to know about this right now. She had a feeling that wasn't going to stop Evan though.

He slid down the seat until he was beside her. "Well, hello again." Hopefully nothing would march through the Great Hall doors and interrupt them once more.

Oooh Slytherin's. What she's heard about them is that they're her kind of people. Well not really but they're like some of her old best friends back in France. So maybe, just maybe she would find a great friend over here at the Slytherin Table. Smiles. She walked over and semi-smiled at the Slytherin's. Maybe one of them would say hi to her.

Ohhhh she felt like a princess in her own castle as Finlay came over and sat next to her. She immediately turned in his direction as her hands moved to his nice sized biceps. There was something about him that was just...RAWRRR and made her all gitty inside. Her fingers squeezed his upper arms as she sighed happily with delight.

"Mmmm, you must workout," she spoke softly to him. "Very nice," she hissed with a smirky look on her face, though it was time to change the subject just so he didn't think she was too weird. "Have you eaten anything as of yet?" She removed her hands from arm to press out the front of her dress, sort of keeping her hands to herself more or less.

And then out of no where a finger came flying past her face as the voice of Lulu began to focus in. Ummm...this was going to be interesting by the boy-hating Lulu. Ara only hoped that Lulu didn't scare him off or she would scare off Lulu.

I finally get to learn more about magic and actually use it myself," she answered. "I've been watching my parents and older sister use it for far too long. It's about time I get to do some of it myself."

What class was she looking forward to the most, though? Hmm. "Pretty much anything but Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, Divination, or Muggle Studies," she answered. It wasn't that Sierra hated those classes, but she just hadn't had much experience with them yet. Especially Muggle Studies. It probably wasn't a very easy class for a pure-blooded witch. "Are those classes usually pretty hard?"

Okay Harley. Time to face facts.

Harley had decided that if she was gonna be living here she had to talk to people that she didn't know. All the people she'd met so far had been strangers at one point, so it was just the same as that. The fourth year twisted her red hair around her finger looking for someone who was sitting by theirself, and looked nice she liked to talk to people who looked nice. While she was looking she spotted a blonde girl, she paused thinking it was Aimée but after taking another look at the girl she realised it wasn't. But she looked nice enough, Aimée was blonde and she was nice, Chandler was blonde and he was nice so maybe this girl would be nice too. She walked over to the girl and stood behind her. "Um. Mind if I sit with you ?"

"Yup, that's my name..." His voice trailed off as he really couldn't place the girls' name.

Finaly smirked as he watched one of her hands rest on his bicept. Mmm. Ara really liked those didn't she? At least he knew that all his hard work wasn't going to waste now. "Glad you appreciate it." He grinned, although it amused him how nobody else had cared about his bicepts. He could grow to like this a lot, well unless Ara got someone else. He was going to have to make sure that he kept his grasp on her.

Mmm. Has he eaten anything yet? Finn shrugged, trying to think whether he had. Oh yeah. He'd had that soup and roll over at the hufflepuff table. But that was about it. He was a bit busy talking to all his girls, and minions. Although all he'd done was talking to girls at the moment. Maybe he should have go and find a minion to talk to now. "I had some soup..." He mused, grinning at her. He sounded so nerdy. Maybe he needed some manly food.

Oooh. Was that food? But that finger was connected to a girl, and he did not eat girls. He snogged them instead. Finn leant forward a little, so that he could see the other girl. "Hey...." Get your finger out of my face please? Your blocking my view of the pretty Ara. "Well you see Miss Noir here looked like she needed some attention." He glanced at Ara, smirking at her. Yeah. That would do.

Ehh...she didn't blame him and honestly didn't care if he remembered or not. "Oh it's Lucie," she replied with a smile. She had been pretty quiet when he entered their compartment and had left only minutes after. Then ran into that mental kid, Jacob. Hmm..where was he anyway?

Brittany made her way over to the Slytherin table.This was the only table she hadnt visited yet. She strolled over and sat down at the table as if this was her house table and she belong there. Clearly someone would notice she didnt belong to her house and strike up a conversation with her right???

I'm incredibly sarcastic, slightly big headed and very egotistical, but thats only with him" she giggled, hoping that this would cheer the younger student up. At least Iris was providing a nice escape from the rest of the people she was talking to, mostly first years and a few older but still new students here and there. "I don't mind talking to them all anyway, I just didn't expect that Slytherin would be gaining so many new students. Its brilliant though, more opportunities to win the house cup.. again. Third year running" she smirked a little as she spoke of the points. Those, PRECIOUS points.

The Blonde noticed that Iris was looking down at her wrist, obviously spotting Trixie's precious bracelet. "It was my seventeenth Birthday present, Oliver made it" she spoke but did not look up, instead choosing to look at the delicate bangle. "I haven't taken it off since he gave it to me" she smiled weakly. "Heh. He probably wouldn't accept it" she bit her lip, he never did. Well apart from his birthday present, GAH she wanted a lightsaber battle right now. "Its a good idea though" she looked up with a gentle smile.

Err.. Why was she looking at her like that?

Was there something on her face? Was her hair out of place. Oh goodness please say her skirt wasn't tucked up. But the look seemed more, admiring maybe, shocked almost, rather then one of humour. "Pleasure Elektra. YOu have a really unusual name, its pretty" she told her genuinely. She had a rarely used one as well, but hers she had never heard used before. "It certainly is amazing, you have every right to feel excited, I know I was" she glanced around the Great Hall.

How utterly rude! Trixie STARED at the KID.. Yes he was a kid because he was WAY younger then she was. True he was a Slytherin but that did NOT mean that he could be mean to other people. "Would you MIND not being rude to my fellow students?" she asked glancing down at her badge and then straight back up to him. "Say anything else and you will have the Head Girl to answer to" she GLARED at him more before turning away. He was not worth her energy and she was upset enough, she didnt need to add anger to her list of emotions.

"Ah my whole family has been a Slytherin, guess I fitted right in with that pattern. I love being a Slythie though" she stated with a smile. She was a proud Snake and there was absolutely no doubt about that.

See now THAT she liked.

When people turned their whole attention to her and didn't get randomly distracted so she ended up standing like a potato in the middle of a conversation. "I don't think I got your name..." she stated. He hadn't mentioned it had he? She wanted to learn as many names as possible in case they ever needed her for anything. "You looking forward to classes then?" she asked.

"Hey. Welcome to Slytherin" the girl smiled over at a new arrival into the room. She seemed like a new snake, well she hoped she was otherwise her statement sounded utterly stupid.

So the girl in the Menagarie, the one who's sister was a previous Head Girl, she DID become a Snake after all. Well that was BRILLIANT, though she wandered if the small weird one, the Beclher kid, whether he would join them in the House of Awesomeness. "Hey Sierra, glad your sat here with us, guess you really were right, you definitely belong here" she winked and giggled slightly before turning her attention to whom she was sat with, older snakes, not older then herself but ones she knew had been here a while.

Was that.. TRUEBRIDGE?!?!?

Oh My Gosh, she really liked him, he was her first DADA professor and.. was he BACK?! For her last year as well, that was just utterly brilliant! Though she wasn't entirely sure what lesson he would be taking though, there were a few staff changes this term after all.

"Glad to see you back Professor, did you miss us all too much?" she smirked a little and laughed. "Which class are you taking by the way?" she asked glancing down at the badge and then back up. Hopefully one she was planning on taking at NEWT level, she needed those NEWTs and Truebridge was a great teacher.

And there was another badged person. But why was he not joining them? Too busy socialising by himself. Well FINE, guess she was the only one talking to practically everyone. "Don't want to join us lot then?" she raised an eyebrow. Pfft.. Wuss.

That was a hard question. Trixie loved ALL her lessons. "I would say whichever class your best at, but I have all 12 OWLs so I'm pretty avergae at all of them. My personal opinion though, I like Muggle Studies" and that wasn't only because Jeremy was professor, though that did certainly help "Being pureblooded I think its fascinating learning about how the Muggles live." Which was the truth. "But, Astronomys great too, if you follow it, can get a little complicated here and there, and Charms" It was really difficult to choose.

Trixie looked up at a final student entering, hopefully this would be the last of the new students because she was finding it difficult to keep up, though THIS one seemed older, a fifth year if she had to guess. "Hey. Welcome to Hogwarts" she stated, not wanting to be as blunt or repetative as she had been with the rest of the students.

"Well the grounds are MASSIVE I'm pretty certain we'll be able to find at least somewhere we can hide, in fact, using the whole grounds would be hilarious, make it SO difficult for the seeker to find us then" she laughed.

"Yeah its a great escape to go out with the horses riding, when your stressed or whatever" she smiled weakly. But she missed looking after them whilst she was here. "If you ever wanted to ride one, you could always come over, my family don't mind." She would even let people keep their own in her stables. That was what one person did anyway.

Food and shopping? "I think I would be distracted by the shopping, food not so much, being vegan and all" she giggled. "But give me muggle money and let me loose and I may go slightly mad" Yes a trip to Italy seemed to be in order for the Head Girl.

Jamie smiled brightly and said,"Well then I'll take your word for it. Maybe it won't be so hard after all." She thought about it all and then wondered aloud,"Are the O.W.L's hard?"

Now, normally she didn't mind people talking to her, or her friends, just as long as she knew them, were friends with them, didn't mind their company, and could totally see them. There was just one problem with this situation...

She didn't mind Finn since she knew him, didn't mind his company, and she thought this was a whoooole start to a good friendship (maybe), but...she could not see him. Technically, if she craned her neck or her back she could, but that just irritated the heck out of her. Frowning, she kinda...pushed him gently to the side a bit more.

Hehe, there we go.

Well, that answered Marie's question and her own, unspoken question. "Hear that Marie? She's Sierra Greingoth." Taking another small sip of her water, she placed her goblet down one last time before completely ignoring it. Nope, done with water.

And she was right about the girl being in the candy store earlier this Summer. However, the girl's reaction to it all now...amused Evelyn. "You're right." she said slowly, before a smirk crept up on her lips and she settled herself more on her seat. "That was a great line." And so was the shopkeeper being crazy, but she'd rather just ignore and forget that memory for now. It was too...traumatizing. "I'm Evelyn by the way." Hmm yes, she'd let Marie make her own introductions.

However, whatever respect points Sierra earned in those ten seconds were totally flushed down the drain at her question. "Who's he- Who's he?! Don't...don't ask that. Ever." No no no no. No, that was a question that should be illegal when it came to Professor Truebridge. "He's like, the greatest professor ever. Or person actually. Just...the greatest in general." Well, no, Lawson was also the greatest ever but they both were in two different categories in her opinion.

Placing his head on the wooden House table, Hyun was starting to get tired. He just wanted to go to sleep. He looked up with just his eyes from the table and stared at Alex with a slight frown. Was he playing with him? did he really like Arithmancy or was he just being sarcastic? "Well, i like Arithmancy. It's one of the subjects i was good at back at Durmie." Wait, he just did NOT say Durmie!. Nuhuh, he did not. He gave Alex the same glare he had given him back at the mainstreet of hogsmeade when he had seen him and SuSu.

"I also like quidditch , i'll try to be in the team this year" he stated with a hopeful tone in his voice. Ah yes, quidditch would be great to play.

He knew Hyun would destory him if he laughed so he just cleared his throat to cover up the small laugh that had erupted. Aw, that's cute calling Durmstrang Durmie.

Another quidditch mate, awesome. "Ah me too, I'll be trying out for a beater position." he nodded. He'd been a beater at his last school, besides he wanted Slytherin to win the quidditch cup. Because well, they deserved it. "What position do you play?"

Emma giggled as Sel hugged her back. She was more than happy to be reunited to be with her bestie. "Awww.. Oh, hey it's fine. Don't worry.. I'm sorry too that I didn't owl either, Quidditch Camp and family" she explained. Emma knew how Sel's parents could be but was glad that they let Sel go back to Hogwarts. Yayyers! She beamed a smile. "A new candy? That's awesome Sel! What does it taste like?" she asked, excitedly. "I've been great! Happy to be with you now. Just very busy.. catching up with cousins at the last minute and meeting new people! So, I've bet you've met a lot of people here!" she added. "Are you ready for our third year here? It feels like it should be our second again!" she added with a wink.

Some soup? That was it! "Well, a growing boy needs to have more than just soup," Ara flirted, batting her eyelashes for a moment until he began speaking to Lulu. She wiggled her eyebrows and grinned knowing that Finlay's words were right on cue. "Yes. Yes I did need some attention from you." She reached over and squeezed his arm again, this time hanging on and not letting go.
