Elektra had walked in looking amazed at all the people from Slytherin inside. She managed to stop her mouth from dropping to the ground and looking like an idiot and looked around for a seat and sat down and ran her fingers through her black eyes. Her emerald gren eyes peered around the room as she watched Slytherins around her having converstations and all she could do was just smirk and sit back. She knew that she was going to enjoy being in the Slytherin house. Oh yeah...she already knew.
While she was waiting in line to be sorted she saw the familiar flash of dark and curly unruly hair. Sitting proudly at the Slytherin table was Elektra Draven. She had meant to catch up with her on the train before they got to school, but too much stuff had happened with everyone else she had forgot. Ah well, she could always make up for it later. The two had become quite good friends and she could see how proud Elektra was.
"Hey, El. What's up?" Selina said approaching her friend. She would listen out for her name to be called for sorting they had already passed the "O"s.

"Nice to meet you too, Zoey." ... Was the kid thinking what she thought she was? Gah... She was. Iris could see it in her eyes! "Oh... And it's the Goddess Iris... not the coloured part of your eye. My parent's aren't crazy." She winked and grinned, then turned back to Trixie...
Yup. She was just going to let Zoey convince herself that Iris is a mind reader... Hehe.
Iris looked past Trixie when she heard part of a conversation that was going on just a few seats down. "You must also be lost then. Because rude people do not belong at this table." She said, loudly and clearly, gesturing to the Slytherin table. "And Hufflepuff's aren't "Dimwits." She stood up, and walked up to the boy. Then sat down next to him.
"That Hufflepuff student has every right to be sat here with their Slytherin friends. No one has the right to tell them to leave. Especially not you." The prefect glared at the boy threateningly. "If you don't like seeing members of different houses and backgrounds befriending each other, and sitting with each other, then I'm afraid you've come to the wrong school. Looking at the Hufflepuff, Iris smiled warmly. "You stay sat here with your friends. Don't take any notice of anyone who tells you otherwise."
And with that, Iris got up and moved back to her original seat, not giving the Sltherin boy another look.
Zoey gave her a smile and nodded. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind."
Well, Hogwarts couldn't be awful if so many people loved it so much. *sigh* She'd just have to get used to it then. She giggled a little bit as Iris told her that her parents weren't crazy. "Gotcha. So like rainbows, not like eyeballs." Heh.
Woah, wait! She hadn't actually said anything about Iris' name... OHMAHGOSH MIND READER!! *flail* That was so... Cool!! Heh, Iris was a mind reader.
Oh and then it got cooler. Zoey watched as her prefect went and totally gave the bratty little kid a speech. She was so... awesome! *mental happy dance* Go Iris, go Iris, go Rainbow Girl, go Rainbow girl
The train ride was over so quickly, Lulu was surprised she didn't suffer from whiplash. She didn't accomplish many of the things she had planned for the ride and filed them away in her mind's reservoir to complete at a later date. Her meeting with Legend Chosen had to happen eventually--especially concerning his half-goblin and why in the magical world of wizardry he wasn't helping her get one for her own.
She wanted a goblin and she was going to bribe him (and cry) until she got one!
As that was impossible at the present, Patterson was forced to sit at the Slytherin table with a sour face. Her expression gave the impression that someone was holding a stinky moldy sock under her nose. It wasn't that the table smelled badly--although, Lulu could probably argue that it did since it reeked of boy and everyone knew boys smelled like cat poo--it was just unpleasant to be surrounded by people she had no plans in befriending. As they were male and older than her therefore: irrelevant.
Lulu reached out for a cookie that someone had placed on the table. She sniffed it a bit and looked around her, wondering if anyone else was going to eat them. Lulu would wait until someone else ate first. If they were poisoned, she would not be the first victim to death by cookie.
Some girl down at the end of the table seemed close to death and Lulu promptly dropped the cookie. She dusted off her fingers as Robin crawled out of her robes and unto the table to grab at the silverwear.
"Seriously, Robin?" exclaimed the girl, tucking her dark hair behind her ears. "What would you want with a butter knife? You don't even LIKE butter."
Finally Elliot was back to Hogwarts and the train ride was probably not one of the best ride he ever felt. He walked towards the Slytherin table where most of the Slytherin student were already sit. He smirked when saw a girl he met in the train ride. "Hello there we meet again. I never thought you'll be joining the snake." then again if he remembered correctly the girl was a really a Slytherin material. "Where's your friend?" he asked. Then he saw someone placed cookies on their table. The cookies seem delicious, he couldn't resist himself. He took a bite and as he thinks the cookie was delicious.

Because being rude gets you absolutely nowhere with this Prefect.
Did this child expect a personal greeting or something? Maybe Iris should shoot fireworks into the charmed ceiling 'Hello there, First Year I don't know the name of!' ... Though, Lafay would probably tell her off for that.
Iris laughed at Fallon's response. Like, actually laughed. She didn't mean to. It just happened. "Well... yes. There's those things." She said, bluntly. "But I was thinking more along the lines of 'we only come of Age once'... Which, I think is an excuse for a great big party." She grinned brightly, ignoring the fact that Fallon didn't catch on to this.
She wanted one. A great big party, that the both of them could organise.
Fallon raised an eyebrow as Iris laughed. It was the complete truth. Not her fault that was all she could think of. Of course she was thinking of a giant party. Fallon loved parties! "Omigosh! That's an awesome idea! We'll have to celebrate yours though, mines after we get off on break." Sometimes she really hated that. She couldn't really have much of a party.
Lulu rolled her eyes and nodded at the other Hufflepuff near Woolfe. "Or those," Lulu informed the girl. Raising one finger, Lulu pushed Robin aside to reach for the bowl of mashed potatos. Slyly, she pushed it away from herself and closer to the people to her left. "Just, you know, safety precautions and things."
Simon looked at the girl, he was getting annoyed and was trying to keep calm, he just ignored her.

That was all. And the second year took another bite from his plate.
Simon looked at the boy. "I'm a dimwit?" Simon was angry now. "At least I know how to count too three." Simon was sure that this boy couldn't even do that. That gave him an odd impression. A slytherin coming up to say hi to him.
"I'm Adam Burn...Gryffindor...So are you a first year?"He asked, she was kinda small about Selina's height.
While she was waiting in line to be sorted she saw the familiar flash of dark and curly unruly hair. Sitting proudly at the Slytherin table was Elektra Draven. Elektra looked over her shoulder and she smiled lightly. Selina Skylar. At first it was your everyday David vs Goliath fights when it came between these two, but then they settled their differences and now they were the best of friends. She did wish that they had gotten to see each other a little more on the train but things were so hectic Elektra nearly had a reall onbnoxious fit and would have made herself look like an idiot. "Selina Skylar! Bloody hell it's good to see you. Sheesh I've been siting here all bored. Finally someone to cheer me up." she moved over a little bit. "Come on sit."

Iris nodded and smiled. "Exactly. Rainbows, not eyeballs." She tried not to giggle at that sentence. She never thought she'd have to put them both in the same sentence... But there you go! "I have a strange attachment to rainbows. I love them... And butterflies. Butterflies are pretty."
Right there and then, Iris decided that she liked this Zoey kid. Younger kids usually annoyed her (How ironic, considering the roles of a prefect), but Zoey was cool.

What? No food.
His stomach grumbled and the boy wished he had bought more chocolate frogs. Still, the excitement surpassed his hunger. He just couldn't believe that he was finally here, at Hogwarts.
Oh sweet Merlin, life was good.
Was someones stomach grumbling around here because it was REALLY loud ad quite distracting to be honest. The Blonde glanced at where the source of the noise seemed to be coming from, a boy, one whom she was certain she didn't know, and he looked younger, so he must be a new student yes? Well here it goes again.
"Hey. Welcome to Slytherin.. I'm Trixie, your Head Girl.." Blah Blah. That was enough wasn't it? Or...not. "If you have any questions, you can always see me" she smiled at the boy. "And I'm sure it won't be long until the food comes out" she eyed his stomach and laughed.

His steely eyes scanned the room for his 'friends', but, they could not be found. Fine by him.
Eying the Prefect for a moment (and only a moment, because that was all she really deserved), he frowned, then sat down. Did they just give badges to anyone these days? Maybe a monkey would be a prefect next term. His sinister dimple appeared as his lips formed into a grin. Hah. That would be EH-PIC.
Anyways... the Slytherin sipped at his Goblet as if to fill in the time. He just wanted to be in the common room. Maybe terrorize the house elves later.
Was he... eying her or Iris? She was pretty certain he was eying the Prefect, but the Head Girl stared straight back at him, she wasn't keen on the grin that was planted on his face. "You finding something funny?" the Blonde crossed her arms and blinked a few times as she looked straight at him, well sorta, stared, glared even.

He wanted to look HIP in front of his fellow students and even if front of the LADIES like Trixie Malfoy and here was, totally ruining it because he didn't like the taste of PUMPKINS.
Leopold wanted to crawl under the table and cry, HE WASN'T GOING TO SHOW IT THOUGH! He wasn't going to ALLOW himself to. Smiling a nervous smile at her, Leopold nodded. HE was attempting to shove off his little spitting out the pumpkin juice incident. He was apart of the best house? Was SHE in this house? Obviously if she was wearing the same color of robes as him. "Uhm..yeah, only cause like...YOUR in it..."In fact, he probably RUINED the general awesomeness of this house. Shame.
Remember her? Leo let out a weak chuckle, still looking like a deer in head lights. "Uhm..I couldn't forget you..."He mumbled, looking up at her. Oh goodness, he sounded SO lame. Torin really did need to give him lady lessons, he REALLY did. New badge? Leo's eyes adverted to the badge, eying it. "Whats the badge do?A cool trick?"
He kept on eying it, hoping it would change colors or something.
*Giggle*
Oh this boy was CUTEEE!
As in.. Squish your cheeks cute, not looks.. well he could be.. No, definitely the 'aww' type of cute with all his compliments and just the general, staring and speechlessness. And the blushing, now THAT was adorable. Very few blushed in front of the blonde, it was usually her doing that, and having an incredibly pale complexion was not so good for that sort of thing.
Only because SHE was in the house. No one ever complimented her like that.. Not even her bestie, especially not her bestie. "Thank you. Thats really sweet but Slytherin was awesome WAY before I got sorted into it" she giggled. "Its generally the best house don't you think? Common Room under the Lake, regular sightings of the squid, I'm sure there's more excitement in the house of the Snakes then there is in any other..." But sure, if for him, she was the reason the house was awesome, then she'd go along with that, no complaining.
And now she was unforgetable. "AWW" she declared, not able to keep the declaration in. "Is that because I'm so unbelievably loud and incredibly sarcastic?" she joked, though it was probably kinda true, the latter most certainly.
What did the badge do? Was he joking or being totally serious? "It doesn't DO anything, it just means I'm Head Girl now" she grinned down at Leo who had undoubtedly, just improved her mood greatly.

Now THIS one was definitely a new student, she could just tell. "Hello" the Slytherin approached the young girl with a gentle smile. She couldn't tell whether this one was disappointed or upset, but she definitely made out the sigh and it concerned the Blondie. "I'm Trixie, your Head Girl. Are you okay?" she asked with a reassuring smile. "You've been sorted into the BEST house" she winked playfully at her "I can tell you that." Did that help? Did she not want to be a Slytherin?

She nodded her head as the Head Girl talked about spending time with her best friend. With the quick subject change, Fallon thought something was up, but didn't touch on it. "You have horses? That's so awesome."
Now it was her turn to talk. "Well, last term I spent some time in Italy and was home schooled. It was really awesome. This summer I've just been hanging around Diagon Alley catching up with everyone." Slight touch on her amazing vacation. She would go into details if the older girl asked.
"Well if all needs be we could always use the Room of Requirement. At least that way we know they'll be plenty of places to hide, thats the main requirement of hide and seek after all" otherwise it would be kinda pointless. "But the grounds are massive, I'm sure we'll find SOMEWHERE to hide out there" Mhmm..
"Yeah I have 4" Lies. Well, she did have four, she just didn't own all four. *Sigh* Didn't want to explain that one though. "There's stables on my grounds, but I tend to go up the Welsh mountains, its a steep journey but well worth it once you get up the top" The view from the Breacon Beacons was stunning on a clear day.
"Alright for some isn't it?" she joked and giggled. "Italy? Must have been nice to get away, didn't you miss this place though?" Trixie certainly would have.

"Hi Trixie, I'm Zoey." The fourth year gazed around at all the people at the tables before turning back to the older girl.
"So, is it always like this?" she asked. She really really really really hoped not. It was crowded. Crowded was not good for people who had a tendency of accidentally kicking people in the face.
No. Not good at all.
O_O
She looked confused. Why was it that some people didn't understand what a Head Girl was. That Rodney kid didn't either. But luckily Iris had explained the concept to her. "Pleasure Zoey" she smiled down at her weakly. "Yeah basically we are the Head of the students, under the Professors...." And Trixie was.. well.. Just Head.. Girl. What other way could she explain it really?
"Its not usually THIS crowded. Its the first feast, EVERYONE is here to celebrate, it will die down soon, people go off to common rooms when we're told too" she stated.

At least then, All the Snakes will be there because it's right after the Feast, and you'll only have to say "Hi, I'm Trixie, your Head Girl" Once, instead of 400 times." Iris nodded and smiled, quite surpised with where the idea had come from. "I for one, am not introducing myself individually to every single First Year Slytherin, though. It's too much effort to do when it's not in the Job Description." Iris grinned, to show that she was partially only joking. Of course she'd introduce herself, and be all friendly to a lost firsty... Just not to the ones who don't seem to need it.
Iris chuckled at Trixie's words. "That's alright. I like you Trixie... So I don't mind if that is the case." Just as long as I manage to cheer you up! "You could be doing with some two way mirrors... so you can actually talk to Oliver every now and then. Make it easier on you, for him not being here anymore." Iris nodded, then smiled at Trixie. When Hogsmeade is open, that's what Iris is going to do. Find a shop that sells two way mirrors. She can give them to Trixie as an early Birthday or Chirstmas present or something...
*Shrug*
The Blondes shoulders lifted slightly as Iris explained Tate was most likely going to introduce them. "I like talking to them personally, I get to know them better that way" Then if they were ever in need of her help they'd know exactly who she was and where exactly to find her. "Its distracting me isn't it? Thats what I need, a distraction. One big giant, distraction to take my mind off.. him." Yeah. That was it.
Trixie looked down at her wrist which was rested on the table, a bracelet hung delicately around her small bones. A gift, probably the most precious she had ever recieved and one she was not going to take off no matter what. The hand carved snake bracelet from Oliver was all that she had with her to remind her of her bestie. "You would have thought he'd thought about that wouldn't you? He called of installed some talking system in this bracelet" she chuckled softly. "But a mirror would be very helpful.. I doubt he has one in his flat though" Wasn't it supposed to be the smallest flat in London?

"Its good to meet you Luke, and yes, Slytherin is the best house" Not that she was at all biased or anything. Heh. "Though, I do have friends in all the houses, they're all great in their own ways" she glanced over at the other tables.
Iris spoke very quickly and sternly, and only used one breath. People who seemed to still think that Slytherin's could ONLY be friend with Slytherin's really annoyed her. And those who insulted the other houses because of this annoyed her even more.
Looking at the Hufflepuffs, Iris smiled warmly. "You stay sat here with your friends. Don't take any notice of anyone who tells you otherwise."
And with that, Iris got up and moved back to her original seat, not giving the Sltherin boy another look.
AGAIN? Please. Lamar didn't ask for this kind of attention. He contemplated going for his quill... surely he'd be signing autograph's at this rate. Giving a mock sense of surprise, Lamar mouth Me? and Rude? as the Prefect took a seat next to him.
And now he was getting a history lesson about Hogwarts stereotypes. Seriously... he would have rather watched a flobberworm dig a hole. But in all honestly, he just wanted the obviously miss-sorted Slytherin to leave just as badly as she wanted him to play... nice. Putting on his most charming of smiles, Lamar nodded. "Anything you say," and winked at her. "I do understand the chain of command..."
Unforunately, for the time being, the silly girl was ranked ahead of him.
But once she had left, his manipulative gaze returned to the Hufflepuff girl. "She's forced to say that you know. You and I both know that if she wasn't Prefect she'd be ousting you as well." His voice was quiet and secretive. He didn't want to attract the unwanted attention of the Prefect again.

Well, she definitely wasn't good at public speaking so Lulu cast her propaganda theory aside. At least she was a girl and not a boy, so talking to her would not result in some kind of brain damage or swap of stench. Not to even mention how she was safe from cooties.
"S'okay," she said in reply with raised brows. What was she supposed to say? Pleased to meet you? Cause that would be a stretch. She was mildly entertained and even then she was leaning towards indifference--whatever that word meant. Lulu thought she had used it right. Possibly. "Are you new to Hogwarts? I never thought you'll be joining the snake." then again if he remembered correctly the girl was a really a Slytherin material. "Where's your friend?" he asked. Then he saw someone placed cookies on their table. The cookies seem delicious, he couldn't resist himself. He took a bite and as he thinks the cookie was delicious.
"Err," drawled Lulu, brows furrowed in confusion. She...knew him...right? Evidently, she did but as was her custom she tended to erase boy faces from her mind as soon as she was done being in their presence unless they served some kind of usefulness to her. "I've been a snake since last term," commented Lulu, tilting her head. Robin thought it prudent to leap from the table towards the boy shoving a fork inside the boys shirt for safekeeping--or a token of appreciation? Who knew? "My friend? Which one? Janie? Greer? At their tables, you know. What's your name again?"
Looking down the table at the boy who had shooed the Hufflepuff Selina nodded her head no. "I think I like my chances better standing. So what happened to you on the train. Did you take a nap or something? You were just gone when I came back to the compartment."

"Really?"Adam had been surprised. He had never hears a snake reveal that before. "You might be pureblood...Most purebloods no matter what, who they are, get sorted into the snake house. Well if you want to be a lion- I can be your lion friend...And you'll be the lioness...First year is very enjoyable, so many new things to learn and learn at Hogwarts, just the school itself is a experience..."He said.

Right there and then, Iris decided that she liked this Zoey kid. Younger kids usually annoyed her (How ironic, considering the roles of a prefect), but Zoey was cool.
"Of course it's a great idea!" Iris exclaimed. Who wouldn't want a giant, magical coming of Age party. "Pfft. We can still celebrate yours! It'll just have to be outside of school." Ch'yeah right. Like Iris wasn't going to have the opportunity to celebrate one of her best friend's birthday's in the biggest, bestest way possible? Fallon was mental.
Zoey nodded in agreement. Heh. Rainbow Girl was cool.
She leaned back in her seat, gazing up at the ceiling. Hmm, it was pretty. "Rainbow butterflies would be amazing." she stated, still staring up at the ceiling. It looked like the sky but... not.
Hmm... You know, magic was weird too. Kinda like in the way that names could be weird just, different. Seriously, how did they get the ceiling to do all that?
Sooooo many questions...

Aaaaand, one just got answered.
"Ok okay." see that made more sense. It would have been awful to have a zillion people all eating meals together *shudder* And more than one of them probobly would have gotten kicked in the face Heh.
As Iris walked back to where Trixie and Fallon were sat, She looked up as someone started to shout at her. She raised her left eyebrow, slightly amused at the comment. "Um... What do you mean to say by that, exactly?"
"Dear... I-didn't-get-your-name, you have no idea how annoying it is to be ignored." Damian said in a slightly ironic taste to her voice. Damian had no wish to bow to anyone, no matter how that person thought to be important.

Nai quickly ran into the great hall buttoning her grey cardigan and hopped on one leg while pulling up her socks then grabbed a seat quickly. "Hey everyone." She gave a big grin an fixed her tie.
You're not a first year..." trailed off the brunette second year, sizing up the foreign looking girl. If she was a first year....Well, Lulu would have to ask her what her mother had been feeding her.
"Err," drawled Lulu, brows furrowed in confusion. She...knew him...right? Billy?
This kid was something else, that was for sure and it was that 'something else' that was knocking her off balance. It was at that moment that Ara knew, for a fact, that boys were easier to get along with than girls. Or maybe it was just this one in particular...either way...
"Yes, this is my first year to Hogwarts but I am a fifth year student" she paused for a moment glancing about the table. "I know nothing about coming here," though she had ever moment to read that Hogwarts, A History book but who had time for reading when there were boys to meet. "So," she lingered around the word for a moment not really knowing what to say. "Are others allowed to visit other tables?" It was bad enough that she was trying to keep up with her own House students much less someone who didn't belong.

Was he... eying her or Iris? She was pretty certain he was eying the Prefect, but the Head Girl stared straight back at him, she wasn't keen on the grin that was planted on his face. "You finding something funny?" the Blonde crossed her arms and blinked a few times as she looked straight at him, well sorta, stared, glared even.
The look on this ones face said it all, it was either shock or amazement, or possibly even both, quite similar perhaps to what Trixie had felt when she first came her. "Hai. Welcome to Slytherin. I'm Trixie, Head Girl" she held out her hand for a formal handshake. "Its really quite something isn't it? It gets more amazing believe me, just you wait til you get to explore the castle, and the grounds. Enough to take your breath away" she stated.

Meredith noticed an older girl come up to her. She looked really friendly so meredith smiled. "Hi Trixie! I'm Meredith, nice to meet you." Meredith said, still in her normal bubbly way. "Yes, i'm okay, i am just a little bummed about being in Slytherin. I mean im sure its a fine house and all i just dont want to be streotype casted." Meredith explained. "Aww, thanks." Meredith smiled.Aww, she was nice.
AGAIN?
"You know what I think I am going to sit down here next to you just to annoy you and hopefully to make you realise that you respect the people who are more important than you." Simon decided that he wouldn't give into this bully, well that's all he was.

Freya was walking towards the Slytherin table. She looked around to find her two besties and perhaps her other friends. "Cass..Fee.." she run towards where they were sitting. "Hey girls." she greeted the with a smile and took a sit in front of them. "Did they already start the sorting?" she asked.
"I have been eating and drinking fine" Katie sighed, Fee sounded like her mother, she took a sip of her pumpkin juice and looked back to her, "I'm fine, really" OH NOES KATIE WASN'T
"KittyKat",Fee said warning,"dont lie to me."It was obvious that Katie wasnt fine and still she acted like it. Woaahhh, bit with Feenella.Things like this werent to make fun of."You know you can tell me when something is wrong",the blonde sighed plopping down next to her friend.
