Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Flibbertigibbet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

Emily walked into the common room and paused for a moment to take it all in.
It was just like her sister had described to her. The armchairs, the fireplace, even the notice board! All exactly where her sister had described them.
It was like Emily had been here before as she already knew her way around.
Emily moved into one of the armchairs closest to the fireplace and opened her book.
She had lost Beth back in the great hall. 'She's probably exploring' Emily thought.
She looked around at all the other students, all talking and laughing. Mabye someone would talk to her?

Beth gulped as she walked into the common room, taking a deep breath, she looked around. It had taken her a while to find her way around but her efforts had been worth it, she could now navigate her way around the school to most of the classrooms. She glanced over and spotted Emily sitting with some other people. Beth sighed and stayed near the door, half hoping to stay unnoticed. She had to make some friends for herself and knew she couldn't keep clinging to Emily all of the time.

Growing up in a mostly magical home she did not understand what so bad about magical ability.

You have to think how scary it must be to see people who can pull fire from a wand and all they have are fire starters. It seems like a threat, but we aren't. And I'm a Mixed Blood. Heather walked into the Gryffindor common room with her arm bleeding from her fall on the Quidditch pitch. It stung a little but it wasn't that bad. She didn't know any healing spells, but she didn't want to go to the hospital wing. She sat down on a chair and started reading. She wished Rafe was there to heal her arm.

" I already signed up on the rooster to be on the team- at least for try outs, I want to be Keeper- and so far, I've seen maybe 2 other people describing as that being the position for them to try out on."
