Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Flibbertigibbet!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

Kurumi carried her now empty scarlet box where her Gryffindor cookies had once been. Her cookie-fastic year was off to a great start having put cookies on all the house tables. She had even had the courage to give a special box to the professors. Kurumi's memory went back to the new special security scary man and his speech. Why did Hogwarts need more protection? It just didn't make sense unless the Ministry was trying to cover up something, again.
Flopping down on one of the red sofas near the fire, Kurumi took out a extra thick version of Hogwarts, A History and began scanning the pages.
Sure, she was reading and studying her first night back at Hogwarts, but that didn't mean she wouldn't mind someone talking to her if they so desired.

Tired and still rather sleepy, Heather entered the common room and glanced at an empty sofa near the fire. Warm, soft a cuddly sofa, she thought and marched right towards the sofa when she tripped. "EEK-" she squealed and landed on her bottom. "owwww........" she sighed. was this a sign that she'll be having numerous bad luck? 'No, no, no!' she screamed in her head. 'Think positive heather, positive! you're just tired, that's all.' she then stood up and saw Kurumi talking with a boy who seemed younger than they were. "oh...uhmmmm...." remembering that she tripped, she felt embarrassed for her clumsiness. "h-hi..." she waved her hand nervously, her face turning red.

Her cookie-fastic year was off to a great start having put cookies on all the house tables. She had even had the courage to give a special box to the professors. Kurumi's memory went back to the new special security scary man and his speech. Why did Hogwarts need more protection? It just didn't make sense unless the Ministry was trying to cover up something, again.
Flopping down on one of the red sofas near the fire, Kurumi took out a extra thick version of Hogwarts, A History and began scanning the pages.
Sure, she was reading and studying her first night back at Hogwarts, but that didn't mean she wouldn't mind someone talking to her if they so desired. Selina was sitting in the Common Room playing with her Quaffle near the desks. The Common Room was beginning to thin out making Selina able to see more of the contents of the room. Her eyes scanned the whole room until they fell on a small Japanese girl, "Kurumi!"

Sophie led the last stray first year to the coom room. She was too warm and slightly exhausted after the days events. Her first official day as a prefect had for lack of better term been eventful. Climbing through the portrait hole the brunette made a beeline for a vacant comfy chair in front of one of the fireplaces. The house elves or a caring student had placed a jug of could apple juice on a nearby table. Pouring herself a glass Sophie sat back and relaxed whilst sipping on the juice. Looking into the fire she thought about the next day and her date meeting with Evan.
