Gryffindor Common Room
The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Because the entrance to the common room is the portrait of the Fat Lady, Lions must know the password and speak it to the Fat Lady in order to get through. "Gobbledygook!"
Remember that word...and keep it a close secret, for it's the current password you'll need to speak in order for the Fat Lady to swing away from the hole and allow you entrance to Gryffindor Tower. Once you're lucky enough to crawl through, you'll find that the common room is a circular area full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up one entire wall. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes!
That is, unless you're in need of a nap or ready for a good night's rest. In that case, there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys dormitories are upstairs and to the right, while girls dormitories are upstairs and to the left.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home! There's bound to be a perfect, your Head of House, or maybe even a house elf lurking nearby! | |

Hayley walked into the Gryffindor Common Room, wondering if she would meet anybody knew here. I mean, it seemed like most of Vanessa's friends were Slytherins so she would like a difference from her. It would be nice to have Gryffindor friends. She took a seat upon one of the sofas and watched the fire in front of her.

Alice, amazed that she had found her way to the common room without getting lost, stepped inside and was amazed. The room had so much charm to it, and she loved all the red and gold. Deciding to sit and relax for a little while, since that was a lot of steps she took to get up here, she went and sat down at one of the tables and looked around the room. So this is where she would live.
