A smile grew on Becca's face. Funny kid. "I'm sure that was exciting. You look rather ravishing tonight," she told him with a firm head nod. "And thank you, I actually just had a cupcake in Miss Professor Lainey's office. It was perfect - and not poisonous. At least, if it was poisonous, the effects sure do take awhile to kill you."

What has she been up to? Quidditch was the first thing that came to mind. She really didn't want to think about that so much, buuut... it was okay. She was in good company. "Quidditch," Becca explained. "I'm not sure if you were there in the stands, but in the last match, I played Chaser. Scored a few goals. Then our Seeker got hurt... you know JD?... and Nia put me in. Captains have put me in for every position in the past except for Seeker. So needless to say, it was interesting." She shrugged and just left it at that.

Theo laughed and nodded, bringing his feet off the couch and onto the floor. "Yeah well, I guess I can thank my sisters for that. Wouldn't have known which one to buy otherwise." He pulled the bow-tie from around his neck and stuck it in his pocket - it was bad enough he'd had to wear it all night.

"Nah, I didn't catch it, wish I had though. I've been meaning to go to a match but just haven't found the time. OWLs coming up and all." He rolled his eyes. Theo had totally forgotten about that match, as he ended up burring his head in an Ancient Runes book that day - his worst subject. "At least you're getting to play though... Unless you don't want to play then... Well, I'm sorry." Theo gave a weak chuckle before clearing his throat. "I'm sure you'll be fine though, I doubt the cupcake was poisoned. Unless you've made Lainey's hit list..." He grinned, laughing a bit Like Lainey had a hit list... "What kind of cupcake was it?"

Namitha was happy to see Chelle,whom she had seen lat year.'Nothing much,Chelle..Nice to see you again..I've not seen you around much,since the last time we met..Maybe bacause I was in the hospital wing.Wanna join the cupcake mission?'

To Sophie,she said 'Well,aren't we?'

Eli made his way down the stairs from the dormitory, the enchanted muggle studies hammer hot on his heels. As he stood on the stairs, he glanced around the room. He was hoping that by some great coincidence the DADA professor would be in the Ravenclaw common room and would therefore save him having to walk down to DADA with the bammer smacking at him all the way.

No luck.

He jumped over the last step of the stairs and landed on the floor of the common room, then began walking through the area headed toward the door.

The hammer followed him, intent on striking his toes at every opportunity.

tap tap tap tap tap... It was kind of like that story about the tell-tale heart, beating out a rhythm everywhere he went to tell everyone that he stole the tool. If the DADA professor could not help him, it might even drive him mad. Just like the man in the story.

tap tap tap tap tap tap....

Huh. It was Eli... being followed by a hammer? Strange, thought Anni, wondering why on earth a hammer would be following a student around like that.
'Eli, are you alright?' she said, going over 'And why do you have a hammer following you? Is it cursed?'

Eli nodded sadly. "Some Slytherin girls cursed it." he whispered. "They trip-jinxed me, too. And now -- ow! -- this thing-- ow! -- keeps bammering my toes." Eli felt very sorry for himself at the moment, as the bammer resumed hitting his toes.

"I think I have to go to the -- ow! -- DADA professor and make him un-curse it. They are Slytherins --ow! -- so they probably used a real -- yeouch! -- dark magic curse, too." Eli kept lifting up his feet one at a time to try to keep them moving so the bammer would miss them. It wasn't working very well.

"Will you maybe come -- ow! -- with me in case the snakes are -- ow! -- still hunting for me? Please?" He didn't fancy being caught alone in a corridor if they were laying for him. He had only mastered a handful of easy charms and spells, and certainly couldn't duel worth a darn, unless it was play-dueling with Ellie.

Anni smiled reassuringly. Those girls... grr. Why would they mess with a cute little firstie like that? Hmmm, it seemed to be really hurting him. Perhaps a shield charm would stop it getting to Eli?
'Ok, hold still for a moment' she said, pulling out her wand. 'Protego!' she muttered, pointing it at him. Instantly a silvery round shield burst up, surrounding the boy. Hopefully the hammer wouldn't be able to get through that. 'OK, that should stop it hitting you' she told him, and began walking to the door, grim-faced. 'Let's go'

Oh, if only that had worked! But apparently whatever the curse was, it was able to get through a shield charm. It paused for a moment as though confused, then flew over to Anni's toes and to BAM! them once before it returned to smacking Eli's feet.

tap tap tap tap tap tap tap!

Eli sighed. "I told you they did something Dark. Ow! They are part of -- ow! -- the Super Evil House of Super Evil, after all." he said, wrinkling his nose. He followed Anni. There had to be a way to get this curse off!

Right. Anni grimaced and opened the door, holding it out for Eli. Stupid Slythie girls. If they'd done this, there'd be hell to pay. Oh yeah, Anni was good at that. She walked through and set off down the corridor to the DADA proffessor. She didn't know him, not having been there long enough to go to any lessons, but she knew where his office was.

Eli followed Anni out the door, his stomach feeling nervous and feeling full of billywigs. He had never met the Dark Arts professor yet, as he had skipped his class. But he might know how to stop the bad Slytherin magic. He was Eli's only hope.

Tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap the hammer followed behind, beating the stone floors behind him all the way.

`Of course I'd love to join ya!' Chelle replied excitedly, though in her mind, she wondered what Namitha was talking about. `Hey, what's a cupcake mission?' she asked.

Lily-anne walked down the stairs from the girls dormitory with a book in hand and looked around the common room, it didnt seem like many people were around. she fell clumsily into one of the soft armchairs and opened the book begining to read.

it was nice to finally get out of the dorm she had been ill for a while and consiquently been stuck in bed the whole time. hopefully she would see some of her friends soon she had missed them.

Carr sat on the rug in front of the fireplace and stuck her feet out close enough to get warm by the fire. Pulling a book from her bag, she opened the large volume across her lap and began reading, occasionally make notes with the tip of her wand.

Absently, she began humming to herself, developing her own pneumonic devices for remembering the information she was reading.

Namitha said 'I think Keeley can explain better'

Sophie walked down the stairs from the Dormitory.
'What a wonderful day',she started to whisper to herself.The song couldn't get out of her head.Why was she so incredibly happy?

Stepping into the common room JD looks around half hoping Anya was there, half dreading she was. Knowing and having promised Ellie that he would talk to her, he sighs with relief seeing she wasn't.

He knew he needed to talk to her, but he was afraid. He didn't know how she would react to what he was thinking, nor the fact he had gone to the ball with Ellie. Well...she had disappeared again, hadn't she?

Sitting down in front of the fire, where they normally sat together, he sighs again looking at the fire, with his legs stretched out in front of him, leaning back on his arms.

Delilah walked in from the ball. The common room wasn't too crowded. She found an empty seat next to the fire and collapsed in the chair. She shook out her bright red hair and smoothed out her black dress. She sighed to herself as she enjoyed the warmth of the fire.

"OWLs," Becca echoed with a groan. "How's your studying coming along with those? Any subjects you particularly love or despise?" And then she made a face. It was one of those expressions that said, 'Uh, seriously?'

..."Uh, seriously? Nah, I played just fine. I mean, I scored a few goals, but then our Seeker got hurt and they needed a replacement. Nia thought it would be fine to put me in for Seeker for my FIRST TIME EVER. Y'know? So. I got one, but then... well. That Slytherin Seeker has experience and knew what she was doing." She left it at that. "It was a GOOD cupcake. And Miss Professor Lainey would never hurt me! I'm her favorite, after all." She was half-joking, half-not.

Everyone knew Becca was Lainey's favorite.

Or at least she liked to think so.

'Hey Sophy',namitha said

"Hello Namitha",Sophie said,giving her a BIG grin.
"What's up?"

It took Obese Jacob about an hour, but he finally made it to the seventh floor. Out of breath, rather bruised and sweating like a maniac, Jacob tried to walk through the doorway. And of course he gets stuck... "Dagnabit!" he exclaimed loudly, well ever since he had gotten fat he had been rather loud. This made him feel like a certain professor he once had... If he could only remember his name! Oh well now was not the time! He had to get through the doorway.

After a few minutes of squirming Fat Jacob got through. Breath! Breath! Breath! Breath! Man, it was hard being fat! Jacob waddled over to the largest couch, and with much difficulty sat down. His obese self almost took up the entire couch. This was really bringing back a memory... He just couldn't find the name! He remembered the man was completely self centered... always calling himself busy and important... and vaguely remembered some homework on things more important than lazy stargazers... For some reason Jacob liked that man. He had gotten on the professor's good side... but he just couldn't remember the guy's name! How could he forget that fat man's name?!

Jacob clutched the phial of antidote to the fatty potion in his meaty, sausage like fingers. He got all the way to the seventh floor without drinking the disguisting thing. He might as well save it and use it when he does his homework... or at least before the quidditch match. But what was that mans name!......... "LORD BORR!" Jacob screamed it, the loudest he has been so far. He looked around at the others in the room, and said "sorry" as his multiple chins jiggled. But he was really excited... he remember one of his favorite teachers!

Namitha grinned at her too.She said,'Nothing much..Why don't you tell Chelle what the cupcake mission is?',namitha sid,smiling mischievously.

Finding a comfortable chair to sit on in the Ravvie Common Room, Luna sat down and started to strum her guitar, she was trying to write a song, though she didn't want anyone else to know it. She tryed to pull a piece of paper out of her bag, but suddenly a sharp pain was in her finger. She raised her index finger only to find that it was bleeding. "Sh-rats," she said, trying not to swear though the pain nearly brought her to. She did not have a bandage what would she do? She looked around the room looking to see if anyone could help.

Delilah looked around the room and saw a girl who's finger was bleeding. She looked like she needed help. Delilah grabbed her bag and looked though it until she found what she was looking for. She got up and walked over to the girl. "Need some help?" She said while holding out a bandage to the girl.

"You can tell her",Sophie replied.
"Although I'm not sure are we gonna do that.The 'cupcake' thing,I mean.I didn't see Eli,or Keeleey,for awhile",Sophie was a little confused about that.
