Ellie nodded affirmatively.

"It's just not cool." and she eyed Vindictus. She was planning on asking him to change the rule. Or at least let her know why that stupid rule was there. "We could have mini games together! What have you played in the past?" she was very keen to absorb any and all information.

"I've mostly played chaser" Adam answered with a smile

"Chaser's a lot of fun. I love how you're always moving. Unlike maybe Keeper, or even Seekers don't have to move much until they see the Snitch." This was from her experience, at least. Beaters moved too. Mwahaha- beater. (:

JP felt as though someone had slipped sleep draught in his drink because he had been sleeping for quite sometime and no longer knew what was going on.
"I wonder if any of my friends are around. Im not quite sure what this festivity is about." JP said to himself

Maddie saw JP and wandered over to him, leaving Luna to play her guitar by herself for a bit
'Hey, JP' she smiled 'How've you been? Enjoying te celebration? I've just been persuaded to sing...' she grinned a little

Well wasn't that a shame. His back wasn't what it used to be..... Shame. Truly. Though by the looks of things... No matter. Probably for the best they not get a stick out and try to bend their backs at odd angles to try and get under it. It wasn't a terribly Ravenclaw thing to do anyway.


She only had a small moment of horror at Max's idea of party-pepping-up. After a look at the crowd (sleeping kid, couple of plotting firsties, a distracted Head Girl) maybe it wouldn't be too bad. Ah, Lainey loved Ravenclaws.

And, well, who was Lainey to not believe Max's promises? He was promising, so obviously....

"Alright.... but don't tell them everything. My whole reputation is built on rumor and the intrigue." The rumors were mostly built on stone cold facts, but who was really keeping track, right?

"Ah you sing?! that is excellent! I must go listen to you!"
JP walked back over to the group to listen to maddie sing her heart out

Sophie entered the Common room and sat onto one armchair.

'Fine....' said Maddie sighing 'OK, I wrote this myself. It's called You and Me' she took a deep breath and started. It was soft and lilting, and possibly her favourite song she'd ever written

Alcemee replied, "That would be...interesting, but I think Hogwarts is better since it has boys and girls."

Sophie turned around as she heard someone singing.
Wow,this is beautiful!
The person who was singing was...Maddie?!
"Wow,Maddie!Your voice is beautiful!And those lyrics...Have you written that?"

Alcemee heard Maddie singing and clapped when she was done. She said, "That's a good song. Kind of sad, though."

'Really? You think I'm good?' Maddie asked, surprised 'And yes, I did write it. It was about this boy...'

Alcemee said, "Yeah, of course it's good, especially since you wrote it! It must've taken a while to write all that." She wondered if it was about a boy that Maddie actually met, because it seemed serious and sad for someone Maddie's age.

'Thanks!' said Maddie. She was glad they likeed her song 'It's about this boy I've known since I was about two. We were best friends, until - well, you heard the song' she blusheed

"I promise to keep your aura of mystery intact, Anj. But these kids should know who you are and that you bleed Ravenclaw blue," Max replied and held his hand up in the air as if he was taking an oath. "Plus I want them to realize my high expectations for the term and see if they will commit to the challenge that I'm going to put before them."

Delilah turned when she heard someone singing. "Wow Maddie! That was great!!"

There were kids breaking out into random song! No doubt an original piece, too, this being Ravenclaw Tower and all. Just saying. Lainey nudged Vindictus. See? Was he looking? Singing 'Claws.

Awesome.


"Your enthusiasm makes ME want to go out and earn house points, Max." He always was SO competitive and YAY Ravenclaw and .. well. It worked. Who had won more than Ravenclaw, riiiiight?


"I'm out of bandages and don't fancy visiting former students in the Infirmary though, so.. do be careful.. with... whatever you're going to do." Bleeding blue. Sounded dangerous. Awesome, but dangerous. And unsanitary.

Abby smiled back. Wow!, she thought, a sixth year! "Things are going pretty good for me so far. I didn't expect the school to be so big! I am still getting the hang of it. So what class is your favorite? I think mine will be Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"You're really good!And very talented..That was such a beautiful song."

'Thank you!' smiled Maddie 'Do play any instruments?'

"Guitar.I play guitar."-Sophie smiled at Maddie.
"Do you play something?"

'I play piano, and sing' Maddie said, smiling 'So did you have lessons at your muggle school?'

"No,but my dad plays guitar and he taught me.You play piano?That's great.How did you learn to play it?"-Sophie asked,curiously.

'I had a tutor who used to come every Wednesday' Maddie explained 'But I taught myself to sing and write music...' she blushed
