Hundreds of blue balloons and streamers float high in the air blocking the ceiling of the Ravenclaw Common Room, and a sparkling bronze banner over the fireplace mantle explains the reason why - HOUSE CUP & GOBSTONES CHAMPIONS.

Several tables are covered in blue tablecloths onto which sandwiches and other finger foods are piled high on bronze platters, and another large platter contains elaborately decorated cupcakes. Pitchers of pumpkin juice and lemonade are found near the cups, plates, napkins and serving utensils.

Grab some food and help Ravenclaw celebrate their House Cup and Gobstones Club victories from last term!

"I am sorry about yesterday Lilly-Anne, really I am but I really don't know what to do..." he said to her

Ellie looked around in wonder. What in Merlin's Beard...?? Her eyes found the mantle. OOhhh. She thought it a bit odd to be celebrating this at the beginning of the year. But she shrugged, oh, well she thought. PAAARRTTYY!!!

"Jay like i said before i fine, but i can't help you with it i don't how i mean i was involved and i'm sure you wont feel comfortable telling me what was goin through you head at the time so for now." she grinned and pulled him out of his chair "Lets enjoy the party!" she said making her way to where the pumpkin jucie was

"To be honest I wouldn't care telling anyone what was going through my head, I will tell you if you want but I won't do it with this many people at this party... unless you want me to..." he said eagerly.

"how about we go somewhere quiteer for a bit and you can explain we can always come back" she suggested

"Uhm sure, where to?" he asked.

Yaaaaaay, a party! Vashti loved parties, especially Ravenclaw ones. Well, she did now at least. Snatching one of the cupcakes off the table, she muched on it as she looked around the room, wondering who to talk to.

"third floor corridor? it's always quite down there and you can tell what the hell is going on in your head" Lily-anne said dragging him out of the common room

"Hey Vashti!" Ellie shouted.

Holy merlin's pants! A party! Keeley had never exactly been Professsor Vindictus's biggest fan, he had quite scared her actually. But she had to admit, he was being pretty awesome today. She'd never been to a real party before, as pathetic as it sounded. She grinned at William, wondering whether he went by Will. Eh, probably not, or else he'd have introduced himself as that. This should be fun.

Hearing her name, Vashti turned to see who was calling her. She grinned and waved when she saw Ellie. "Hey there!" she said brightly, skipping over to her, half-eaten cupcake still in hand. "Cool party, huh?"

It was the cupcakes that did it. He'd smelled them all the way from the boys' dorm and now that the scent was in his nose he wasn't stopping until he'd eaten at least three of the delicious things. The fact that he'd just pigged out in the Great Hall meant nothing. Nothing at all. A fast metabolism - Kellen Stern had it.

Abby blinked and all of a sudden the room was filled with MORE blue than before. More blue? Was that even possible?? Well, apparently it was. She plopped her bag down and walked over to the middle of the room where there seemed to be more people gathered with a smile on her face. Sooo, a party was fun, right? Definitely not something she had been expecting when she came to Hogwarts, but still. She moved on over to a table laid out with food. Goooood! She was hungry. She picked up a highly decorated, highly BLUE cupcake, peeled back the paper, and bit off a mouthful. Yummeh.

Kellen had reached the snack table, and there was already someone munching away at the cupcakes. He watched the rather enthusiastic bite she made into the treat and promptly took two to put on his plate. If she was going to be a rival for cupcakes, he'd have to stock up in advance. Only after a bite and a swallow did he realize he was being rude, and smiled at her, lifting his bitten cupcake to indicate it, "They're good, aren't they?"

A...party? Whaa-? Oh! Kel smiled as he read the big banner. Then his stomach got the better of him, and he went for the cupcakes. He picked up a particularly yummy looking one, and took a big bite out of it. Mmmm...

It was the that he noticed that he was standing right by someone. "House Cup and Gobstones, huh?" he stated, looking up at the person. Oh. She was a girl that he didn't. "Ravenclaw pretty much rocks, don'tcha think?" He pretty much assumed that she did. She was a Ravvie, after all.

Lily-anne walked back into the common room and grabbed a butterbeer downing it in one go things where not going well but she felt like forgeting about her worries for a while so joined in with the party

Alcemee walked into the Ravenclaw common room and was surprised when she saw all the balloons and food. She didn't expect there to be a party right away. She took some pumpkin juice and a blue cupcake and took a bite out of it. It was really good, so she ate the rest quickly and took another. Then she sat down and looked at the other people in the room, deciding who to talk to.

Abby was reaching for a napkin to wipe a little frosting off her chin. Who wanted to have a blue face? She lifted the BLUE napkin to fix it up and there! All good! Then she took another bite. MMM these cupcakes were goood.

Hearing a voice very close by, Abby turned to see a boy there. And well, she could only assume he was speaking to her. She nodded in response to his question about the tastiness of the cupcakes. "Very good," she said. And very blue. "Who makes 'em?" she asked, laughing a little. Hopefully that wasn't a stupid question. But hey, she was new. How would she know?

Huh? Was that the voice of another person directed to her? Abby looked around and - oh! There he was, standing right beside her. "House Cup? Oh, yeah," she said nodding. Not that she would know. Then he asked if she thought Ravenclaw, quote on quote, rocked. To this, she nodded more enthusiastically. "I do think!" she said. Heck, she might have been new, but she basically took to the House thing pretty quickly. It wasn't a new concept. There had been different houses back at Salem.

"What about Quidditch?" she asked curiously. "How'd we do last term?" They didn't play much Quodpot here, Abby reminded herself. Now, that was more of an American things, she supposed. But still, GO QUIDDITCH! Besides, she should know these things if she wanted to tryout for the team.

Alcemee overheard them talking to each other and decided to listen. She didn't usually "eavesdrop", but she wasn't talking to anyone right now and wanted to know what other people were talking about before talking to them too.

Kellen shrugged, "I have no idea. Maybe the House Elves? Or maybe Vindictus strapped on an apron and whipped them up himself!"

He blinked at the young girl who devoured a cupcake before going back for more, and quickly decided he'd better stash a third on the safety of his plate. Goodness, the Ravenclaws this year were a bunch of bottomless pits! This thought in mind, he resumed munching away on his own cupcake.

Kel nodded in responce while he finished up his cupcake. He picked up another one, unable to stop himself. They were just so good! And blue and festive! Very Ravenclaw-ish. He laughed at the girl's enthusiasm. "That's what I kinda figured." he smield and shrugged.

"I...don't exactly know. I didn't pay much attention to Quidditch last term." he frowned, but shrugged. Apparently, they hadn't won the Quidditch Cup. But, he was sure they would this term. Because, as he'd already pointed out, Ravenclaw rocked.

"I'm Keltan Micheals, by the way." he added, holding out his hand for the girl to shake.

Alcemee saw him putting another cupcake on his plate and was amused. She wondered if he was worried that all the cupcakes would be eaten soon. She finished her second cupcake and took a third one. After finishing that one, she didn't take any more, not because she was full, but because more than three would be too many, and she didn't want to seem greedy or something.

Abby looked up from the book she was reading and noticed blue balloons. She looked around and saw people grabbing cupcakes from a table and eating them. She stood up. The cupcakes looked delicious and she was in the mood for something sweet. She wandereed over to the table and grabbed one. She noticed a small group of people talking.

Abby noticed a couple of younger girls close by where she was standing. Well, they didn't look too busy themselves, so she offered the girls a friendly smile. "Hi, there," she said with a short wave.

Turning back to the first boy who had spoken to her, who Abby realized she hadn't asked his name yet, she raised her eyebrows at his response. Ahh, right. She had forgotten about the House Elves. Then, he mentioned someone named Vindictus. Gosh, that name sounded like someone important that she should have known about... "Vindictus?" she repeated questioningly. "Ohhh, our head of house, right?" She figured that the comment about him whipping up the cupcakes himself was supposed to be a joke. The man didn't seem to be the type to be at home baking with momma. "So, what's your name?" she asked, remembering her manners.

Chew, chew, chew. Swallow. It wasn't polite to munch while someone else was talking to you, but these cupcakes had to be made an exception for.

"Abby Hartzler," she said, switching the cupcake into her left hand so she could shake the hand he offered with her right. "So, you seem very House-spirited," she added with a light laugh. "Is there a lot of rivalry between houses here?" If so, GREAT! That sounded exciting. If not, oh well. It would be a nice change from the constant competition back at Salem.
