Ellie frowned as confetti disappeared before her eyes...

So sad.

Giggling excitedly, Vashti spun around with arms outstretched as the confetti from the balloons rained down on her. Then, hearing Professor Vindictus, she stopped and eagerly volunteered. "I'll help!" she said, pulling out her wand.

As she did so, Victoria suddenly offered her a cupcake. CUPCAKE! "Yeah, I'll take one!" she replied, grinning brightly and snatching the cupcake from Victoria's hand. "Thanks! I'll eat it while I clean." Taking a big bite out of the cupcake and quickly swallowing, she pointed her wand in various places where litter/trash/confetti/whatever was lying around while saying, "Evanesco!" This common room was totally going to be spotless when she was through with it!

Victoria smiled. "Thanks Vashti."

Abby laughed slightly. "It wasn't small. It just wasn't as grand. Perhaps, more modern is the right way to put it," she said. Eh, it wasn't incredibly modern. It had been established when America was still new too. But compared to Hogwarts, that was nothing.

She listened to the speeches given by the professor and the prefects. Indeed, if she wasn't already excited for being at Hogwarts, they definitely fueled her excitement. Certainly, it was a pep talk, and Abby found that it had worked. On her, at least. Geez, if Ravenclaw could have more parties with more cupcakes like this when they accomplished something, then they had better get a move on with the House Cup and quidditch and all that.

"Guess we should help clean up," she said, looking around. A lot of other students had already started and gotten most of the mess. She pulled out her wand and pointed it at the area around the food table where there was a scattering of dropped and spilled food and drink. "Evanesco." The common room would be back to normal in no time!

Keeley's sugar fueled grin started to fade as she noticed a frowning firstie staring at her. Frowns were contagious, ya know. She walked up to the cute little red head. "What's wrong, love?" she asked in her slight German accent. One she had tried so hard to get rid of. "Frowns spread like wild fire. But cupcakes aaaaaalways cure 'em." Nom nom... cupcakes.

Ellie smiled.

"Nothing's wrong. I just hate when the party ends..." she said. If only life was one BIG party!!!

Theeere. Smiles were much better. Much better, indeed. "End? There is no end! Just act like you're constantly at a party, and the awesome party mood'll always be with you. It's what I do."
Teehee... maybe Keeley should be an advice columnist. She fixed the bow in her hair and continued to do the clean up spell.

Ellie giggled.

"Truuuuuuue" she said.

She helped clean a little, "Evanesco!" Poof! goes confetti. Hehe.

Miles giggled as Vindictus whistled loudly and got caught up in the spirit of things. Sliding off the table he looked up as the confetti came down and with a grin nodded, "I'll help professor V!" Moving around the room he searched out stray cups that had lost their owner collecting them one at a time humming quietly to himself.

Keeley also giggled. Just cause giggling's fun. Yup yup yup! She skipped around the room, clearing the room of it's confetti filled mess, but left a little bit intentionally. She didn't want the house elves to miss out on all the fun. When that was done, she plopped back onto the couch beside William and stole another gummi bear. Those were sooo addicting.

Vindictus watched the students who pulled out their wands and cleaned up the mess. "Why, that was quick! Points for those who helped out," he grinned and with a flick of his wand, all signs of the party vanished.
