Charms Lesson 1:
Cooking with Charms

The Charms classroom doesn't look like a normal classroom---not today, at least. The desks and work areas have been put away and replaced with a number of stoves and sinks, a row of cabinets, and a large cooking area. The smell of freshly baked---something or another---lingers in the air and out into the corridor. Someone's been baking in here!

With a pretty pink apron tied around her waist and an opened copy of Enchantments in Baking in her hand, Professor Carlton stands in the front of the classroom. "Come on in and take a seat. We'll get started just as soon as everyone's here."

Trixie skipped into the Charms classroom excitedly. Charms was definitely her best subject at Beauxbatons bearing in mind that was what they based themsleves on. "Good Morning Professor" she grinned and flicked her blonde hair. "I'm Trixie. Trixie Malfoy. It's great to be in your class" she grinned and took a seat looking around the classroom. A kitchen? Right that was, different. Eh but it was charms.

Maddie walked excitedly into the Charms classroom, and was surprised to see it looked like a big... kitchen? Oh well, she was sure the lesson would be interesting. Proffessor Carlton seemed nice, from what she remembered at the feast. She picked a seat and nodded to the teacher
'Good morning, Proffessor!' she said happily

Amy walked into the classroom her bad mood suddenly lights, she had really wanted this lesson to come quicker, hello proffessor she said happily as she walked into the classroom and sat down-hang on, was this what a classroom looked like often? She smiled at the thought and stood behind a counter, once she was sitting she took out her quill, parchment, notebook, text book and wand

Victoria walked in with a nod at the professor. "Hello, professor." Then, she sat down, pulling her book out.

Ella walked into the first Charms lesson quite eagerly. This was her favourite subject after all. "Good day Professor." She said happily as she walked through the door. She sat down at an empty desk and got out her equipment for the lesson. Eeep, she was very excited for some reason. All of her lessons at Hogwarts were a big improvement to the ones at Beauxbatons. More fun too. Perhaps one day she would enjoy the whole 'education' experience.

Arya skipped into the classroom, excited about the lesson. She had been this way ever since the professor let her get a sneak peak of the other room. No she couldn't cook, but she did love to make a mess so it was all good.

Taking a seat in the front, she beamed at the professor. "Hello, Professor Carlton. How are you?" She pulled out her wand and twirled it between her fingers, her eyes wandering.

Alexandrie smiled at the teacher as she came in before saying, "Hello Professor." She then took a seat waiting eagerly for the lesson to start.

Ahhh Charms.

Destiny had been looking forward to this class ever since she had her little run in with Professor Carlton in the Three Broomsticks over the summer. As she remembered that day, she remembered the sickle she had found under the table and that girl she had met, Lucky. She hadn't seen the older girl around, and wondered where she was. *pout* She did say she was going to Hogwarts, right?

Heh. Perhaps if the girl did attend, she would show up to this class!

Walking into the classroom, well not a classroom, it was a kitchen, Destiny took a deep sniff in. Oh Merlin. She was hungry. "Hello Professor..Carlton!" she greeted the woman with a HUGE smile. Ha! She had remembered her name and did not call her Professor Carstereo.

Taking a seat right in front, Destiny could only wonder if the woman would remember her. Perhaps she should sit under the table instead?

Aileen walked into the classroom.

Huh?...Kitchen?

Aileen stopped between the door, blinked couple of times and, just to be sure, she checked the door sign. This was the Charms classroom. So what's with the kitchen here, then? She shook her head a little and then she saw the professor wearing a pink apron. She blinked again. Warning sounds shrilled in her head. Pink? She managed a small smile and said quietly. "Hello, professor." And she went to sit down.

Now this was a class Diggy could get into. Cooking...food...sugar. The best things in life really. He smiled as he walked into the class. After that dreadful potions class and that wholly confusing Arthimancy lesson he needed something nice and easy. With edible results.

He took his place at an empty workstation and eagerly awaited the start of class.

Camille gradually entered and just smiled at the teacher before sitting. it was her act of greeting to her instead of saying it really loud. as she was about to settle, she was quite shocked that there are no bleachers , chairs or anything `discussion setting` like of arrangement, but instead, some sinks and stoves?? somehow like a huge cooking arena?"you`re kidding right?"?,she tried to ask the professor through facial expression.but, oh well she was waiting for others,shemust be serious, she thought;blinking;settling in the side. afterall,this was her favorite subject.

William entered the Charms classroom, fully expecting to see no chairs or tables around except for the professors of course. Instead he saw workstations, and took a deep breath smelling ... something that smelled good. Smiling a bit he popped in another sugar quill, his supply diminishing as he looked around seeing Diggy. Moving over to sit beside him at his own work station he grinned, "Hey Diggers." he said cheerfully as he sat down and put his bag on the table beside him.

Iris skipped up to the Charms classroom happily on her own, it being one of her favourite classes. She faltered a little when she saw the classroom. She WAS in the charms classroom, right? Not the Muggle Studies classroom.

She looked over at the Professor at the front of the class. Yeah, it was charms.

So, they'd be cooking. In Charms class.

Iris figured that this meant they'd be learning CUISINE CHARMS!

With a giddy grin, Iris found a seat near the front of the classroom (Not TOO near, though.), and smiled at the professor happily as she put her bag away.

Kevin entered into the classroom and said "Good Morning Professor Carlton" Kevin took a seat quite close to the front so he could learn loads

Tori entered her Charms class quite content. Charms class was always the class that was good to be in. There was something dare one say, magical. Greeting her professor,"Good morning.", continued to a seat that was near the front.

Simon walked into Charm. "Good Day Professor." Simon suddenly smelt something and realised that it was like a kitchen, he walked over to the door and looked at the sign, nope this was the right class, he looked at the sign on the door, Charms that was what it clearly said but the smell was well like what you got from a kitchen, he went and found a seat looking very puzzled.

Mina smiled as she walked toward their first Charms lesson. It was yet another class she was looking forward to. She was pretty sure she was in need of a refresher course with all she had learned in the past and all the new ones she was to learn. Stopping short just after she crossed the threshold, she blinked and gathered her thoughts. Kitchen?

Shaking her head, she made her way to a station near the front and smiled. It did smell delicious in there and who was she to complain about the thought of baking. Seeing one of the newest professors in front, she smiled and greeted her. "Good day, Professor. It smells delicious in here." The smell reminded her of yummy cupcakes and brownies. Yes, that was what it smelt like and those things made her happy.

Simon came to the charms class.It was big.And the class wasn't usual.It look rather like a...kitchen.The smell in the air was something...baked.He looked around for the teacher , and saw a strange looking woman sitting with a book opened , and a pink apron - well it looked like an apron , anyway - around her waist.He grinned.He walked up to the professor."Hello professor.My name is Simon Patrick Franchot." he told her.But there was one question he had to ask , just to make sure."Professor , are we cooking today?"

This class looked FUN!

Gold beamed at Professor!Charms, the moment she stepped in. The set-up was totally awesome, as was the cute, pink apron the professor wore. It totally won Gold over, straight away.

"Good day, ma'am," she said cheerfully, as she looked around for a place to sit. Or maybe find someone she could wave to.

Or spot Captain!Awesome?

Hehe.

Melissa smiled widely when she came into the Charms classroom. She hoped that she would do great in this class. Still smiling she happily spoke to Professor Carlton, who weirdly enough had a pink apron around her waist. "Hello Professor Carlton!" she beamed looking around the classroom which had stoves, sinks, a row of cabinets and a large cooking area. They were going to COOK! Breathing in the smell, which smelt like someone had been baking in here before.

YAY Cooking!

Rhea was exhausted. Her schedule this term was so awful. She had barely a break between classes and was feeling a bit knackered by the time it was time for charms. She smiled brightly at the professor despite feeling really tired.
"Hullo professor."

She moved over to plop down on one of the sitting furnitures in the room waiting for further instructions,

Sophia entered Charms classroom. It was, well, a bit different from what she's expected for a Charms classroom to look like. It took a few seconds when she realized they were cooking. She saw her professor. She'd met Professor Carlton so she's not that nervous--but still feeling nervousness and doubt. "Good day to you Professor! Sophia Diggory, if you can still remember when I visited you in your office." said Sophia. "Well, I'm so excited for this day's lesson, Ma'am." she added. Nodding to the teacher, she looked for a good seat. Sophia noticed some students already inside, some were familiar cause of other classes.

Walking to Charms, Lysandra expected to see a normal classroom. Instead she saw the desks pushed back, replacing them with stoves, sinks, cabinets and a very big cooking area. She didn't expect this. So I guess we are going to learn how to cook she thought. She then saw a witch with a pink apron and a book in her hand. Good morning Professor she said as she passed the witch to take her seat.

Bonnie, before entering the classroom, decided to set her tie straight once and for all. She needed to make a good impression, didn't she? She was a Ravenclaw! Walking in (with her tie straight!) she smiled and sat near the professor (yeah, nerdy, she knew).

"Good morning, Professor."
