Evan almost skipped in the classroom. Almost. But being 14-year-old meant resposibility and matureness. And he was mature. Totally. So walking in the class room, he smiled brightly at Professor Lawson while greeting him excitedly. "Hello, sir. How do you do?"

Now, where to sit at? Of course in front, but next to whom? His blue eyes spotted Marie, and the smile disappeared slowly. He didn't miss that evil smile. What did she have to do with Professor Lawson? He was clever, funny, friendly--had every good characeristic for being an awesome man. Who would not like him? Evan used to hate Muggle Studies, because he knew most of the things, but now he looked forward to classes. Marie's attitude was just unbelievable.

He sat next to her nevertheless, with a hope to understand her attitude towards the professor, who was like a saint in his eyes.

Muggles Studies!

Yet another class where she already knew the professor. All the new professors around, made her slightly nervous. But Lawson, she wasn't at all nervous while in his class.

Strolling in, she smiled and moved toward the front of the class. Being in the back was never really her style and she was kind of looking forward to the lesson. Taking note of the subject topic of the lesson, she tilted her head in thought. Yes, this was going to be interesting. Finding a nice seat in the second row, she greeted the Professor. "Good day, Professor Lawson." she beamed as she pulled out her quill and some parchment.

Nymphy and sat down. "Good evening proffesor! Ready for an exciting lesson?" he asked, in a slightly rhetorical manner. All Muggle Studdies classes were exciting! He got his stuff out: parchment, quill, ink, and textbook lay on his desk.

With his hair falling into his face, William bounced into the muggle studies classroom his blue eyes bright as he grinned, tossing a calm wave in the direction of the totally awesome Lawson. "Hey professor, how's it going?" He asked grinning as he bounced past him and found a spot in the front of the classroom. He wasn't too keen on Muggle Studies, it wasn't like he lived as a Muggle or anything. He just liked the muggle aspects. Cooking, eating muggle food, paying muggle sports.

Taking out his pen and paper William grinned. Oh yeah this was going to be fun.

Cadence walked into Muggle Studies with a big smile on her face. Though she didn't think that Muggle Studies was something she would continue after her OWLs, she wasn't sure. She really needed to talk to someone about her future because right now she was rather confused. Walking up to Professor Mr. Lawson's desk, she smiled at him, "Hello, Professor Lawson! I hope your new baby is doing well!" After taking a candy, she said, "Thank you for the candy!", and she turned back and faced the classroom, looking for someone to sit with. Spotting Mina, she walked over and sat down in the desk next to her. "Hey Mina!" she said happily before taking our her parchment and quill as instructed and titled the page:

"Muggle Employment"

Muggle Studies. One of the few co-ed classes that Cedes could say that she really enjoyed. She felt light-hearted and allowed herself a little bit of joy as she walked into the classroom. "Hello Professor Lawson. How are you today?" Cedes asked politely. He was probably one of the only men that had no cooties. She would know. Married men didn't have cooties. She was sure of it. Cootie Digest said so and she was going to go with what it said.

Cedes then walked around the classroom, looking for an empty seat. One that would guarantee her no interaction with boys. She picked out a seat that was surrounded by girls on three sides already. All she had to do was hope that another girl would fill up the fourth side. She took out a piece of parchment and a quill, ready to take notes.

Jen walked quietly into the room and noticed a box of candies sitting on the Professor's desk, she walked up and took one. "Hello, Professor Lawson! Thanks for the candy." Jen whispered. "I'm Jen Potter."

Jen then found the nearest open seat and sat down.

...Candy!

This class would be good. Kel already knew it. "Hey, professor. And thanks!" he greeted, snatching up a candy before heading to a seat in the second row of desks. Not too close, but not in the back, either. He pulled out the necessary items for class, then settled back in his seat, waiting for the class to begin.

Yay, Muggle Studies! This class was pretty easy for Vashti, being Muggle-born and all. It was great. She could always use an easy class every now and then. Walking into the classroom, she greeted the professor with a smile. "Hello, Professor," she said. And THEN she noticed the candy. "Oooh, candy! Thanks, Professor!" She took a piece - though she was VERY tempted to take the entire box - then quickly found a seat and sat down.

Kenna walked in. "Morning, Professor Lawson." She half smiled, but noticing the candy, it became a huge grin. She took one, like some other students. "Thank you." She smiled again. She sat down and took out her notebook, and titled the page.

Muggle Studies: Muggle Employment.

She wondered what this class would be like. She felt bad for them, being Muggles and all. Not being able to do any magic. Poor things.

Abby walked into the classroom. She saw a box of candy but didn't feel like taking a piece. She walked to an empty chair in the middle of the classroom and sat down.

Scarlett walked into class. She saw candy in a bowl and her eyes widened. Yum! was all she could think. "Hello Professor." she said nodding a little and taking one small piece of candy. She sat down in the middle of the room and took out a quill. She rummaged through her bag for a sheet of parchment. She found one and set up her desk. She then slowly unwrapped the candy and smiled. She popped it in her mouth and let it sit on her tongue.

Libriana looked at her friend and waved. She was surprised to see Jen in here. "Hey Jen."

Rubbing her very tired eyes, Evelyn walked into the classroom, and looked around, trying to process everything in her mind. Except she couldn't, and probably ended up looking like an...Huffie...just standing there.

Hmm, Lawsguini sitting at his desk, Muggle employment, whatever, Marie and Destiny sitting in the front...

*sigh* The one class where she didn't want to sit in the front. Shuffling her feet, she moved to the empty seat next to her friends, and plopped herself down at the desk. It only took a split moment before her head made contact with the table. Sleep, has not been good. "Mrn'n, Pfssor."

Alex entered the class sitting in one of the empty seats. She ignored the candy and pulled out what would be her notes for Muggle Studies, she found muggles interesting, not enough to sign up for muggle studies club but enough to attend the class in general.

When he walked in the first thing he saw was the candy. Rushing over, he grabbed one and stuffed it in his mouth. Mmm. So good. He didn't even notice it was sugar-free, he was enjoying it too much. Looking over at the Professor, Jimbo grinned. What a nice teacher to give them all candy. The perfect thing to do to get Jimbo to like him. "Hullo Professor Lawson. Thanks for the candy!"

Still grinning, he went to find a seat and saw that quite a couple people were here already. Sitting down, he took out his notebook and found an empty page to jot down the title on the board.

Miles walked into the Muggle Studies classroom with a slight bounce in his step. To anyone other than Fia it would have seemed like he was just in a good mood. To Fia, who would notice the slight drumming of his fingers along his pants line, the tapping of his foot when he either stood still or sat, she would know he didn't take his medicine. Regardless though he walked in with a smile "Hi Professor Lawson," Noticing some candy he grinned, "Awesome. Thanks!" He walked into the classroom further and sat down at an empty desk, pulling out his notebook and a quill waiting for class to begin.

Victoria walked in the room and glanced around, noticing some students already in. When she saw Vashti, she smiled and walked over to the table beside her and sat her stuff down.

"Not a problem at all" he said giving the girl a nod.

Marcus pursed his lips as Jake made his way into the room and he noted that the Huffie didn't take a candy which meant that the boy had a stash of his own somewhere.

He would be watching him.

"Anytime mate."

Marcus nodded at both the Hufflepuff girl and the Head Girl as they made their way into the room.

"Hello Madeline" he replied giving her a smile.

He gave his head another nod in way of greeting to the Ravenclaw.

"Hello maiden Arya" he said with a chuckle, "And you're quite welcome."

"Good morning."

Lawson gave the two Hufflepuff's a warm smile as they entered. "I am doing well, thank you Kay."

"And good day to you as well Sophia."

"Hello Gabrielle."

Giving the Slytherin a suspicious look for a moment, he didn't like the way she was smiling at him.

He was almost tempted to say that his day was rapidly going down hill but he refrained from saying that, instead he gave her a smile of his own. "My day is going quite well, thank you Marie."

Marcus chuckled at Destiny and returned the peace sign. Although nothing was ever peaceful when Destiny was around.

"Good day boys."

Marcus grinned at Evan, "I am doing pretty good thanks Evan."

"Good day to you Mina" he said giving the Ravenclaw a broad smile.

"The question is, are you ready Nymphy?"

Marcus waved back to William and grinned back at the boy, "It's going pretty good thanks William." He was such a polite kid, that one.

Lawson couldn't help but smile at the mention of his daughter. "Ava is doing very well, Cadence. Thank you for asking."

"Hello Cedes" Marcus replied, "And I am doing well."

He was rather impressed with how polite these kids were being.

"Hello Jen Potter" he whispered back, "It's very nice to meet you."

"Hey Kel and you're very welcome."

"Hello girls."

Raising an eyebrow at Evelyn as she entered the classroom, Lawson watched her drag herself into a chair and then look as though she had fallen asleep. And then she spoke and he smirked a little, "GOOD MORNING EVELYN" he yelled at her before chuckling softly.

"You're quite welcome."

"Hello Miles" Lawson said with a smile and waited for the Prefect to take a seat before he rose out of his chair and stood in front of the class.

He clapped his hands together very loudly causing a resounding slap to echo around the room. Just to be sure that everyone was awake.

"So as you can see, today we will talking about Muggle Employment. Now most of you will know what kind of jobs the wizarding world offer us but what if you wanted to go and work in the Muggle world? What kind of jobs do they have? Raise your hand and name me at least one muggle job that you know of?"

Alexandrie raised her hand hesitantly, "I think muggles have something called Doctors their versions of Healers.."

Selena raised her hand and opened her mouth to speak. "Well, muggles and wizards have some jobs that are similar. They have professors, shopkeepers, writers, artists as well as doctors which are a bit like healers. They also have um... waiters and waitresses as well as... er... taxi drivers," Selena said the last part finally. She remembered taking the taxi when she was in New York with her mother. Her mother was repulsed by it, Selena was amazed.

Miles smiles as Lawson said hello to him and then watched as he began speaking. Oh this was easy. He'd lived in the muggle world a long time and dealt with it a lot. Raising his hand with a grin he spoke up, "A secretary or personal assistant like my dad has."

Cadence raised her hand high in the air and began listing jobs. "Teacher, police officer, fireman, electrician, politician, pilot, accountants, doctors, dentists, psychologists, psychiatrists, lawyers. I could name a lot more, Professor, but I won't," she said, smiling and blushing a bit.

Victoria raised her hand. "A first grade teacher, where I could teach little children."

Kay smiled at him and raised her hand. "Professor there are actors. They make movies. I saw one this summer with a friend" She said hoping that she had couldn't the name right. Yes, its was doctors. They were important right?
